Chapter 4: Ice Cream Fundae
The next day, I met up with Sarah, James, and Henri, along with some of my other best friends Alex Russo, Justin Evans, and Max Greenwald at the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium for an Ice Cream Fundae. "Hi, guys!" I greeted my friends. "Hi, Angel!" Sarah greeted back. We jammed out to 98 Degrees, Lizzo, and the Pop2Kountdown featuring the year 2006, when the fellow listeners first lived in the city of Pittsburgh. Lunch was chicken nuggets, nacho chips with cheese, applesauce, and chocolate ice cream. "The cotton candy ice cream is delicious, Max," Henri happily stated. "I like the cotton candy ice cream, too, Henri," Max agreed. "Oh boy, Justin!" James exclaimed. "My favorite flavor- s'mores!" "I like s'more flavored ice cream, too, James," Justin happily agreed. "Do you girls have a favorite ice cream flavor?" I asked Sarah and Alex. "Mine is the mango sorbet," Sarah stated. "I like the raspberry sorbet," Alex stated. "After Chinese food for dinner, we are sure working off our calories, huh, Sarah?" Alex asked. "That's right, Alex," Sarah agreed. "I remember when I didn't want to take gym class in front of others when I was in middle school, but then I realized that gym class makes me healthy and strong." "I thought that it was good exercise to take a short walk before Angel's performance with her band at the Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center," Alex happily remembered. We also saw some of our clients at the Ice Cream Fundae and asked them about their favorite things to do at graduation camp. Jennifer Preager liked the scavenger hunts best, Lauren Bennett liked outdoor cooking best, Grace Luster liked arts and crafts best, and Abigail Mifflin liked Field Day best, noting that she always creams her younger sisters at the games. Once the event was over, it was time for all of us to go home. "Thanks for a great day, everyone!" I thanked my friends. "You're welcome, Angel," Sarah replied. "Good night, guys!" "Good night!"
