SIX
It has been three months since Brenda became Christian's submissive.
She had more money than she ever had in her entire life.
She couldn't believe she was getting paid to have sex with him.
She didn't know men like him existed.
It was ridiculous how great he was in bed.
He wasn't just great, he was freaky.
One time he tied her ankles to her thighs and used all types of vibrators on her.
He would get her to the point she was about to orgasm, then withdraw them.
It was sweet torture.
It seemed like his favorite thing was giving her spankings.
They were not little taps either.
He went in.
She liked it though, which was weird.
She never knew she liked pain as much as she did.
He would add pleasure which made the sensations insane.
Out of bed they acted like friends who never had sex.
It was amazing how he could turn it on inside of the playroom, and act like nothing happened outside of it.
He rarely touched her outside of the playroom.
When he said no holding hands or any of that other shit, he meant it.
She didn't just sit around during the day, they were always going places, or doing some crazy activity.
At night, she knew it was time to play.
Brenda still thought about Sonny, especially when she was alone.
She still missed him.
She still loved him.
She still ached for him.
Lois was the only person who knew a little about Brenda and Christian.
She couldn't tell her too much.
She just told her they had a casual relationship and he took care of her.
Lois yelled through the phone. "Bren! You have a sugar daddy? How old is he?"
"He's twenty six."
That shocked her. "A twenty six year old sugar daddy?! He must be awful looking."
"No, he is gorgeous."
"Well, tell me, what's his name?"
Brenda lied. "John."
"John who?"
"I can't say."
She couldn't say, because she couldn't think of anything.
"Brenda, if you needed money you should have asked me."
"We just have an arrangement. He likes taking care of the people he dates."
"So, what happens when you two end things? Will he want everything back?"
"No, we have covered all of that. It's mine. It is in my name."
"I don't understand. If he is so hot, why do you need an arrangement?"
"Lois, he has an old soul. He was taught to take care of the women he is involved with."
"Oh, now I understand."
Kristen wanted to know what she was doing as well, because of the new car and the new condo.
Brenda told her she was booking more modeling gigs.
That answer satisfied her, because she knew Brenda modeled.
She couldn't tell her too much because she lived in the same city.
She just hoped she never ran into her, because Christian was always taking her places.
She needed to ask him what to tell people.
One night they were at dinner and she decided to ask him. "Christian, what should I tell people about us?"
"I don't care. Tell them I'm your boyfriend, it really doesn't matter. It's not like I'm seeing anyone else."
"You are a one submissive at a time man."
He grinned. "Pretty much."
"A lot of men could learn a lot from you. We aren't even in a real committed relationship, but you are committed."
He winked. "Safety first."
"Where do you get your ideas?"
He was confused. "For what?"
"Playtime. Porn?"
He grinned. "No, I told you, I don't watch porn. Brenda, I wasn't lying."
"Being a freak comes natural."
"I had a teacher earlier."
"A female?"
"Brenda, you still think I'm gay?"
"No, I one thousand percent know you aren't gay."
"Of course, a female. An older woman."
"So, an older woman turned you out?"
He laughed. "I guess so."
"Were you in a relationship with her?"
"No."
"So, you had no feelings for her?"
"No. It was just sex. It was nothing romantic."
"You are good at having no feelings."
"I like it like that."
"I never thought I would, but after everything I have been through, this is perfect."
Christian wanted to know more. "What have you been through? Tell me more."
"I did something really stupid and it ruined my relationship. To make a long story short, he ran off and married someone else basically because of it. I loved him so much. I still do."
"Did you cheat?"
"No, nothing like that." She decided to just tell him. "My ex was in the mob but didn't really tell me. I let some people talk me into wearing a wire. I know it was stupid. I wasn't going to give them the tape, if he said anything incriminating. I should have never agreed to it. I should have told him. He found out and we had a horrible fight. He threw me out. He ended up marrying this woman, who he swore up and down was just a friend. I never trusted that bitch. I was devastated. That's how I ended up here in Seattle. I still love him and I still miss him. I think about him all the time."
"I hope not when we are in the playroom."
She smiled. "No, you do a good job of taking my mind off...everything."
He pulled his glass to his lips. "I was thinking maybe I'm not doing enough."
She held up her hand. "No, it's enough. Anything more might kill me."
He laughed. "Did you try to get him back?"
"He didn't want me, but yes, I tried. I begged for him to take me back but he was done."
"Brenda, people get divorced."
"I know, but I am not going to chase him. I don't expect it to last. He doesn't love her. I know that."
"Will you take him back?"
She looked off. "I still love him, but I don't know. He married someone else. I just don't know. I just wish I didn't care anymore. I want to stop."
"So, stop."
She grinned and looked at him. "It doesn't work like that. Have you ever been in love?"
"I told you, I don't do love. I wasn't lying. Never have never will. Not interested."
"Sex gets old, Grey."
"Not for me."
"Do you have women that get attached?"
"Yes, and I can pick up on it pretty quickly. I'll cut ties before it gets out of control. I have no problem moving on."
"Do you have a type?"
"Brunettes."
She smiled. "So me."
"But you are different from the rest."
"How so?"
"You are exquisite."
She smiled. "Well, that's nice of you to say."
"It's the truth."
"You're not so bad yourself, Grey."
"We aren't talking about me, we are talking about you."
"I have a question. Thanksgiving is coming up. Are we skipping that weekend?"
"No, unless you would like to? Were you planning on leaving town?"
"I actually thought about going to Port Charles. There is a family that I used to live with. I was going to go see them."
"That's fine."
"I can be back by Saturday."
"When are you leaving?"
"Wednesday."
He nodded.
She sipped on her water. "I would actually love for you to see it."
"What?"
"Port Charles. You are always taking me places. I would love to show you where I am from."
"I might take you up on it. Maybe, I'll fly in on Friday, and we can ride back together?"
"Great….."
Brenda got to Port Charles on a Wednesday as planned.
She could have stayed at the Quartermaine mansion but decided against it.
She checked into a hotel, with Christian coming, she decided that it would be best.
She actually managed to go into town and not run into anyone.
She was relieved.
She just wanted to take it all in.
She really missed it but it didn't feel like home anymore.
She went back to the hotel and stayed there until the next afternoon.
Maybe, she was scared she would run into Sonny and his new bride?
She didn't know if she was ready for that.
She went to the Quartermaine's and they were all surprised to see her.
She did call Lila and tell her that she would be coming.
Lila decided to keep it a secret.
Everyone was there including Lois and Ned.
It was a great dinner.
For the first time in ages, nothing happened to the turkey.
After dinner, Brenda and Lois walked off to have a little girl talk.
"So, where is this young sugar daddy of yours?"
"He is back in Seattle with his family."
"Why didn't you have dinner with him?"
"Lois, it's not serious. It's an arrangement."
"Bren, you are so much better than an arrangement."
"I like it. I don't want anything serious."
Lois changed the subject. "Have you seen him?"
"Who? Sonny?"
"Yes, Sonny."
"No, and hopefully I don't."
"Port Charles is small, Bren."
"I'm sure I can avoid him for another day."
Lois shrugged. "Hopefully…."
Christian got into town early Friday morning.
She wasn't even sure if he was still coming.
She didn't know until he knocked on her door.
She was still in bed and had no idea it was him, until she looked out of the peephole.
He got a room in the same hotel as her.
She was so happy to see him.
She got dressed and took him sightseeing.
They had breakfast first and then did some light shopping.
After shopping, they ended up at Kelly's.
She wanted him to meet Ruby and see where she used to live.
He loved the coffee, and said that it was one of the best cups he had.
Ruby, who didn't really get excited about men, was downright blushing when she was introduced to Christian.
Brenda was shocked that Ruby would have that reaction.
She wasn't easily smitten.
She was used to other women having that reaction.
Christian got that wherever he went.
He was gorgeous, with his dark hair, and those gray haunting eyes.
He hardly noticed or maybe he was just used to it?
They were sitting at a table, when Sonny and Lily walked in.
Brenda pretended not to see them.
Sonny thought he'd seen a ghost but she was real.
Still just as beautiful.
Maybe even more if that was possible.
"Sonny."
"Sonny."
He cleared his throat and looked at his wife. "I'm sorry. I just wasn't expecting to see her."
"I can tell. It's ok. I know it's been a minute. Shall we go over and say hello?"
"We don't have to."
"Sonny, it's fine. We are married, we are happy. She has obviously moved on. Why can't we say hello?"
Sonny didn't think it was a good idea. "Yeah, fine."
Sonny reluctantly walked over to the table with Lily holding his hand tightly.
Lily spoke first. "Hello, Brenda."
Brenda looked up at her and didn't say a word.
Lily smiled at Christian. "Hello."
Christian returned her greetings. "Hello."
Lily introduced herself. "I'm Lily Corinthos, an old friend of Brenda's."
"Christian Grey."
Sonny shook his hand. "Sonny Corinthos."
He looked briefly at Brenda. "Hello, Brenda."
"Sonny."
"We just wanted to say hi. We'll leave you two alone."
Sonny and Lily walked off and sat down at an empty table.
Lily looked over at Brenda's table. "He's handsome."
Sonny didn't say a word.
Lily continued. "She didn't say a word to me."
"You know how Brenda is."
Lily grinned. "Yes, more than anyone. I just thought she had moved on."
Sonny shook his head. "I was totally against going over there."
Christian asked Brenda if she was ok.
"I just hate her."
He laughed. "I can tell. Would you like to leave?"
She nodded. "If I don't, I'm going to go over there and rip every strand of hair out of that bitch's head."
They got up and left.
Sonny tried not to look.
It was so hard to believe she was right there.
In town again.
He wondered how long she was staying?
Where was she staying?
Was that her boyfriend?
He had to find out….
Brenda took Christian to the Quartermaine mansion for dinner.
Lois almost passed out.
She couldn't believe that he was her sugar daddy.
She couldn't stop staring at him.
She didn't like the fact that Brenda lied about his name, but she got over it.
Edward took to him quickly.
They talked the whole night.
He thought Christian was brilliant.
Lila even liked him.
Christian could be charming when he wanted to be.
He was used to networking.
In fact, he was a pro at it and it showed.
They didn't leave the Quartermaine estate till late.
They are back at the hotel.
They are in her room having a nightcap.
Christian is sitting in a chair. "What an interesting family. I really liked them."
Brenda sat down on the bed with a drink in hand. "I'm happy you like them. Everyone loves Lila, Edward is a different story."
"Not everyone loves me."
Brenda laughed.
Christian continued. "Mr. Quartermaine is ok in my book. And by the way, he really hates that thug you used to date. His words, not mine."
Brenda laughed. "Yeah, Edwards hates Sonny."
"He definitely has no filter. How did you feel when he said that he is confident that you'll make it to thirty now, since you are not at risk of being shot?"
She laughed again. "I'm used to him."
"Jokes aside, they really care about you."
"Yeah, they do. I adore them."
He stood up and walked over to her.
He removed her glass from her hands.
She questioned him. "Here?"
He sat her glass down. "Here. I want you."
He removed his tie, pulled her to her feet, and started undressing her…..
Christian removed the tie from her wrists, kissed her forehead, and slipped out of bed.
She watched him get dressed.
Sonny got off the elevator.
He knew he shouldn't be there, but he had to see her.
As soon as he stepped off he saw Christian exiting Brenda's room and walking down the hall in the opposite direction.
Sonny watched him swipe his card and go into his room.
Sonny knew he should turn around but he kept walking…
Brenda heard a knock at her door.
She slipped on her robe and opened the door. "Did you-"
It was not Christian.
"Hello, Brenda."
