(NY Penthouse)
Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat sat in her destroyed penthouse sadly, after her 'failed' attempt to save her father from prison courtesy of her crush/enemy/hero, she had been held up here wasting away.
"I never knew a version of you to be one to give up and wallow in self-pity." Madam Web said as Felicia was always amusing to watch for various reasons.
Felicia jumped in surprise seeing Madam Web appear "Who are you?" she asked never hearing her come in 'The hell did she manage to sneak in?' she thought wondering where she and her 'throne' came from.
"A friend of a friend." Madam Web said knowing Felicia was not as foolhardy as most thought.
Felicia got a good look at her and realized it now, she had a spider on her "Spider-man?" she asked clenching her fist.
Madam Web predicted easily Felicia would try and strike her, she expected that after all, the moment she charged her and got in range they both vanished.

Felicia Hardy found herself in what seemed like a black void with the woman she had just tried to attack.
"Calm down." Madam Web said in a no-nonsense tone which made Felicia cower for a moment "Good, now I am here to get your head out of your ass." she said as a screen appeared before them.
Felicia was greeted by the sight of Spider-man web-swinging through NY as he always has "Why am I watching this?" she asked the woman bitterly "What does the Spider want me to feed his ego?" she asked her.
"You see that anger and failure to see his true actions is what will get you the worst outcomes." Madam Web said as it was basically a running gag at this point.
'His true actions?' Felicia thought wondering what she meant, she was caught off guard when the screen filled with green smoke.
(with Peter)
'I swear.' Peter thought only knowing two people who used green smoke one was dangerous and dead while the other was annoying "Come on out Mysterio." he said as the man revealed himself "So what is it this time?" he asked him wondering what grand scheme he had for him.
"Nothing." Mysterio said as he stood on the rooftop and removed his helmet "I need your help." he said seeing Spider-man stare at him.
(with Felicia)
Felicia didn't know this man that well, but knew he ran in similar circles as her "He won't help him." she said thinking this was a waste of time.
"Oh, and why do you think that?" Madam Web asked as Felicia was always messed up mentally due to many factors usually surrounding her parents.
"He didn't help me and we…flirted." Felicia said not wanting to go into details with the elderly woman and even with her eyes covered and tied, she could swear the woman had amusement in them.
"Oh, let's watch." Madam Web said to her.
(with Peter)
"Why in god's name would I help you?" Spider-man asked crossing his arms, unknown to him Felicia was flashing a superior grin to Madam Web.
"My daughter has been taken." Mysterio said to him seriously, more serious than he ever had been with Spider-man, there was no dramatic number or theatrics.
Spider-man had no idea Mysterio had a kid, he took out his phone and pulled up Shield records and saw he did in fact have a child "OK so what happened." he said calmly jumping closer to Mysterio.
"You'll help me?" Mysterio asked surprised he accepted so fast.
"I can't take the chance you might be lying and if you are, next time you ask for my help you'll be in jail." Spider-man said to him seeing him nod "Now, what did YOU do?" he asked knowing Mysterio had to have pulled something.
Mysterio was silent for a moment "I went to a…business associate." he said able to tell the look behind Spider-man's mask was telling him he knew it was another criminal "His name is Baron Mordo, he offered me something in return for a job, I refused, so he took my daughter." he said to him bitterly.
"Why do I know that name?" Spider-man said to himself confused that he knew it "Fine, I'm assuming classic you steal the thing he wanted you to steal in exchange for your daughter?" he asked as it was a classic switchero.
Mysterio nodded to him.
(with Felicia)
"That's it!?" Felicia said in rage "I try to break my father out of prison and I get the nth degree, but this guy tries to kill him and he gets a pass!" she said angrily.
"Nothing is ever as it seems Felicia, keep watching." Madam Web said as Felicia did watch with a calculative and judgmental gaze.
(1 hour later)
"I can't see you." Mysterio said in annoyance as he always thought that he had a superior sense of reality where he could decipher any and all tricks, but Spider-man's invisibility was perfect, he couldn't tell where he was.
"Kinda the point." Spider-man said to him "I can't believe you lost to this clown." he said as he made a phone call once he remembered Baron Mordo, he called an acquaintance of his, they ran in different circles, but often ran into each other enough.
"Can I ask why you're helping me, I have tried to kill you and I have helped frame you?" Mysterio asked him curiously.
"Because you needed help, and more importantly a little girl could get hurt if I didn't." Peter said as while he would've had no problem letting Mysterio pay the piper for his own mistakes, he wouldn't let someone else pay for them "Be glad my friend was the one you were sent to rob." he said to him holding a wand of watoom.
(with Felicia)
"Ok, what is the point of watching this?" Felicia asked Madam Web "Was it to show me how little I mean to him, that he'll help an enemy rather than me?" she asked as the words stung as she said them, but they were true to her.
"You think Spider-man cares so little about you?" Madam Web asked truly wondering if that's what she thought "Would you like to see how you treat him?" she asked her making a web and in each box thread there was a different image of Felica "Across the multiverse there are magnitudes of Felicia Hardys that screw up on a grand scale." she said to her.
Felicia saw Madam Web pull one up, one was of her with Spider-man, he took off his mask and she saw herself throw up and say how she wanted the Spider, not the man.
Another was of them dating, Madam Web skipped through images and moments, but showed she was betraying Spider-man by stealing from villains behind his back.
"Oh, this one is your greatest cruelty." Madam Web said as she was shocked to her core by this one.
Felicia watched as she saw herself breaking into an art museum, Spider-man giving chase, she smiled at how much effort he was putting into trying to catch her and was surprised he actually did catch mid-air, she watched them exchange witty commentary, but her other revealed, she had a child with a subtle tease it could've been with the Spider.
"When that version of you told him that, he was shocked, confused, but most of all he was happy." Madam Web said as at Peter's core he was happy "But he was terrified as that child you claimed that you had was in the hands of the mob, he felt dread more especially given that that child could've been his." she said to her showing her what happened next.
Felicia then watched as Peter was in a downward spiral telling his girlfriend a beautiful redhead about how they dated and saw him running ragged with no sleep whatsoever all for her child.
They watched as she and Spider-man fought at some outdoor bar and saw how lax Felicia was.
Felicia had a terrible feeling in her stomach, there was no possible way she would be this lax if she had a child's life on the line, especially her own child, she saw them reach the docks and she saw them flirt again, it was genuine, she could see the care and desire in her own eyes, she watched as they battled taking on mob thugs like they were nothing, both knowing the others moves like they were planned, it was honestly pretty beautiful, she watched as she seemed to vanish as Spider-man fought tooth and nail against some well armed thugs caring machine guns.
They watched as the battle concluded, Spider-man looking exhausted, his suit having tears in it, and blood coming down some of the more noticeable wounds, he called to Felicia and she didn't answer, they watched where Spider-man went to the safe and found no child, Felicia closed it on him and then took off after revealing she played him for over a 500 million dollars of mob money.
"Ok fine, I can be pretty harsh." Felicia said as every move her other made was something she could see herself doing, but to that extent was downright cruel.
"No, we're not even to my favorite part." Madam Web said sarcastically.
Felicia watched as Spider-man hid as some dumb thugs came in the vault and she saw they rigged her apartment to blow up, she watched as Spider-man ran at breakneck speeds faster than when she and he ran to stop the robbery on the yacht and called her to warn her, he put everything he had into trying to save her and when he reached the apartment, she looked back at him with a smile as the flames engulfed her.
"When he saw you die, it wasn't something he felt and took lying down, he mourned you because he still loved you." Madam Web said as she then showed her the talk Peter had with MJ about how he felt with the child Felicia mentioned, how he felt learning there was no child to begin with.
Felica felt a pit in her stomach listening to that, it hurt to have someone care so much about her and she just…used them, screwing them over and even having the gall to tell them she cared seemed awful.
"You survived, you faked your death and after months you revealed yourself, would you like to see what Peter did for you in that time?" Madam Web asked and didn't give Felicia the opportunity to answer.
Felicia saw the place where she 'died' and saw Spider-man on a rooftop across the street holding a white rose, he placed it on the last spot he saw her, saying how he was sorry and how he missed her.
"He then started wearing a suit you gave him, it was impressive albeit simple." Madam Web said as in her honest opinion it looked more like something Black Widow would've given him.
Felicia saw the suit, seeing it had claws like her,s and she had to admit Spider-man certainly wore black well "Ok, I get it I can be a bitch, but that doesn't change the simple truth, in this universe he hurt me, he didn't care about ME and MY feelings!" she said to her, the fire that was her anger reignited once more.
"Ah, the truth funny how you think you know everything, but know SO little." Madam Web said to her seeing her confusion, before Felicia found herself in a wrestling ring seeing Spider-man fight some muscle guy, she saw she couldn't touch anything or interact with anything.
They watched as Spider-man won and soon the ref stiffed him, they heard noises and saw a familiar face run out of the office.
"Dad?" Felicia said in confusion seeing her father run to the elevator past Spider-man seeing him nod at Spider-man "I-I don't understand?" she said not knowing what to say.
"This is the crime that got your father sent to jail, well half of it." Madam Web said as they were now on the street, where they watched a scene that haunted Peter's mind to this very day.
Felicia was in shock, her father had never killed anyone before, and seeing the man drop to the floor and take his final breaths was horrifying to know her father caused that.
"Funny how you rush to conclusions without knowing every detail." Madam Web said to her changing the scene again.
Felicia watched in horror as Spider-man held her father through a broken window, the fall was a good 30-40 feet.
"I should drop you, take from you what you took from Ben Parker!" Spider-man said as he dropped him.
Felicia rushed to the edge seeing her father drop and a few feet before he hit the ground Spider-man saved him.
"But he wouldn't approve, with great power, comes great responsibility." Spider-man said before the area around Felica and Madam Web vanished.
Felicia felt like vomiting and soon she did.
"Wonderful." Madam Web said sarcastically as she made a portal to a random place entirely as Felicia emptied her stomach.
"Why was-was Ben Parker so important to Spider-man?" Felicia asked Madam Web with tears in her eyes.
"Ben Parker was Spider-man's uncle, but he raised him like a son, Spider-man, is Peter Parker." Madam Web said as all the different universes Felicia saw would've given her no way to know Peter was Spider-man "He lost both his parents to a plane crash when he was 6." she said to her.
Felicia felt like she was kicked in the gut as her parents split at that point, her father still a criminal and her mother a high-class socialite, she thought she had problems, but seeing this was much worse "Why didn't he kill him?" she asked Madam Web because if she was in his position and in a way she was, she'd have killed him.
"You saw the memory, he didn't want to spill blood in his uncle's name, every day he goes out as Spider-man to honor what his uncle taught him." Madam Web said as that was the simple answer "Now I hope you enjoy the biscuits." she said to her.
"Biscuits?" Felicia said in confusion to see Madam Web was gone and she was on a porch "The hell did she leave me?" she asked herself seeing she was in the suburbs.
Felicia was brought out of her thoughts when the front door to the porch she was on opened and she saw a sweet elderly woman.
"Oh hello, are you alright, you seem pale dear?" the woman asked her curiously seeing a young woman on her porch "Oh where are my manners I'm May." she said to her.
"Oh, um I've had a long day." Felicia said as that was an understatement "And hi I'm Felicia." she said to her.
"Well come inside and take a load off, I just made lemonade and biscuits." May said to her.
At the mention of biscuits, she had a feeling that Madam Web planned this, she followed the elderly woman inside.
(With Madam Web)
Madam Web smiled to herself as she watched both Peter and Felicia, Peter was currently beating Baron Mordo while Felicia was talking with May, the girl's hatred dying from being in contact with Peter's aunt, she sighed as with Destiny, she needed to counter all the negative actions the woman was taking this was one, but she had to do little in order to change the course of their actions, she did more with Felicia than Mysterio as all she needed to do was let a newspaper hit his domed head of Spider-man to make him ask him for help.
In the previous timeline before her interactions, Mysterio rescues his daughter, but dies and in the next few years his daughter takes up his mantle and becomes especially violent with her powers compared to her father, going after his enemies with the intent to kill, and that included Peter.
Felicia was a bit erratic as her futures were constantly changing the girl never knew what she would do herself, and she rarely led a good life as after each of those encounters in other worlds, Felicia would down spiral having learned Peter was the best partner she had, some of her lives showed where she dies alone never knowing love as she had with him, another she dies young after living to close to the edge, and another where a certain incident happens in prison, something she did prevent as that was a fate too cruel for even Felicia.
Madam Web sighed as it wasn't her job to save Spider-man, but she did whenever she could as Peter Parker, whichever one she was with at certain points, they could be her friend, an associate, or even family, she knew this one was special though 'I guess Julia can take it from here.' she thought as Julia Carpenter was her…replacement, for lack of a better word.
(Brotherhood house)
"He stopped Pietro?" Mystique asked as Pietro could run very fast near 100 miles per hour and he was still developing his speed meaning he'll gain speed based on his muscles and the development of his x-gene, to hear Peter stop Pietro cold was…shocking to say the least 'To touch Pietro, he'd have had to know he was coming to begin with and to stop him?' she thought in confusion as she had seen Pietro built up much kinetic energy with his speed often doing more damage to what he hit when he crashed in his short time here.
"I still don't get it and what's worse is that the X-geeks saw." Lance said as he was sure about that.
'One day here and he is already a problem child.' Mystique thought to herself as this would not end well.
They were interrupted when they heard a loud scream from the kitchen, they didn't care much given it was Toad, but they checked it out to see Toad on the floor and Rogue standing up looking annoyed.
"The hell happened to him?" Lance asked seeing Toad was smoking a bit.
"Dimwit touched an outlet with his tongue." Rogue said lying smoothly as Toad had been shooting his tongue off and it got too close to her and she grabbed it out of pure reflex and shocked him 'I should call Spider-man.' she thought as she was showing more powers of the people she had touched, it was strange.
Mystique wasn't so convinced, she saw Rogue leave rather swiftly 'I swear, teenagers.' she thought knowing she had to deal with both Peter and Rogue now.
(20 minutes later)
"So you are…keeping the powers you've touched from other people?" Spider-man asked Rogue finding that odd.
"I think it's just mutants." Rogue said as she remembered the first person, she touched and tried using his quarterback skills, but nothing came to mind.
'Fucking better be the case, imagine the shit she could do if she had our powers.' Venom said to Peter mentally reminding him she technically absorbed some of him when she tried on his glove.
'I'm in no rush for her to touch me…the first time I've thought that while with a beautiful girl.' Peter thought as he remembered Rogue said she got both powers and memories so, her touching him was a gamble he wasn't willing to take "So how many powers do you have?" he asked wondering how many mutants she touched.
Rogue had to think about that, so far she touched Scott, Jean, Kurt, Storm, Toad, and Blob, she tried to teleport but realized she didn't have the ability, so she told this to Spider-man.
"You may have a partial print of the power, they won't be as strong as the original, but you may get A ability rather than ALL." Spider-man said to her "And from the sound of it all these people may have one or more powers." he said to her.
Rogue had to give him that as that made a lot more sense and it helped realize what she might have in store.
"Be careful, some people may have a power you want and a power you really don't want." Spider-man said letting her think about Toad.
Rogue was a bit glad on that one as she noticed she didn't have Toad's unique bodily reactions 'Thank god.' she thought not knowing how she'd fair smelling like garbage, but she did notice her tongue was longer and could reach out a bit, so that was a good sign.
"Anyway I got plans, I gotta go." Spider-man said turning invisible and left.
"Since when can he turn invisible?" Rogue asked herself.
"Since today." Spider-man said before disappearing, he learned he could turn invisible as it was a unique power of Venom, but given their full bond, he could use it with or without Venom covering his body.
Mystique posing as a raven was more curious than ever about her daughter, wondering how she knew someone as famous as Spider-man 'I swear.' she thought thinking of Destiny wondering why she didn't call her, she hated when Destiny often let her figure her own future out and not tell her what could happen, but Mystique knew herself better knowing she was to controlling and could probably ruin it for herself and she hated predetermination as if she had no control of her life 'This is certainly a development.' she thought as Destiny had told her Rogue's future concerning her powers, but this was not one of them.
(next day)
"It's quite unexpected we have one so close to home." Storm said to Charles.
"I'm mostly surprised Cerebro couldn't pick him up." Charles said as there were a few x-gene individuals that could slip through the cracks of Cerebro or simply be undetectable.
They were interrupted when someone began knocking on the passenger side window of the limo, Storm opened it and there stood Peter Parker.
"Word of advice, don't have these little meetings in front of the person's house." Peter said to them as he walked inside.
Charles and Storm shared a look.
"Logan might have a run for his money." Storm said as rarely did a word go by Logan without him knowing as the man had heighten senses from smell to sight to hearing.
(few minutes later)
"Can you stop with the telepath thing, it's getting annoying?" Peter asked 'politely' as he had felt the mental probes Charles had attempted.
Charles was even more surprised by that statement.
"I told you it was a bad joke." Storm said to him as often Charles used his telepathy to show other mutants he was like them, but often it was seen as an invasion of privacy, or to people who knew telepaths it was really annoying.
"I'll save you some time, my powers are body enhancement and the answer is hell no, I don't wanna join the Xavier Institute." Peter said saving them all some time and had an answer prepped for their questions.
Storm was a little confused now "Are you a telepath?" she asked wondering if that was how he knew so much.
'Trust me when I say that'd be the worst power for you.' Venom said to Peter as he got enough from his own mind, that'd be pure torture if Peter himself had it where he could hear what other people thought.
"No." Peter said to her simply "And Magneto had the same offer and I told him off." he said to them seeing their surprise.
"He just left?" Charles asked knowing Erik was rather forceful, hearing he had just left was odd behavior.
"Yeah, he left when I told him he was watching too much Star Wars and copying Darth Vader." Peter said having no real interest in letting Charles know how he met Magneto.
"Young man I don't think you realize the gravity of Magneto." Charles said as he had been experiencing Erik's tactics for years.
"And you don't seem to understand your ego." Peter said as Fury warned him about Xavier's egotistic view that he or rather his mutants were the best defense against Magneto and in some ways the man was right as it was a good way to show not all mutants are hostile if they were seen stopping others, while another is leaving Magneto unchecked was a terrible thing given how the man feels about humans, this was the reason Fury even hired him, not warning people altogether like Shield who the man knew of that knew about mutants was beyond dumb.
Storm could sense the growing tension and decided to intervene "Mr. Parker, these gifts you have could develop in a number of ways in the future the Xavier Institute can help you in those times." she said to him as many were scarred of their own powers like she was as she was an Omega level mutant who could cause untold damage if not in control.
"Yeah, I'm good." Peter said as he had Venom checking his body regularly and Venom had the idea of actually pushing Peter's mutation farther along given it was growing as his body matured.
"You know where to find us, if you change your mind." Charles said placing his card down
"Tell Logan I said hi." Peter said seeing their surprise "He knew my parents…also apparently I peed on him as an infant." he said as Fury told him some stories about his parents and some more about his earliest interactions with Logan.
Storm snorted at the thought of someone pissing on Logan, she would never forget that tidbit of information as it was too good "How much do you know about Logan?" she asked as she knew the man was desperate for any scrap of information about his past he could get "And where are your parents?" she asked curiously.
"Emancipated and parents are dead." Peter said to her.
The adults were silent after that.
(1 hour later)
Logan was silent, as now he had someone who knew him two decades ago, even if he knew nothing, it gave him some reference to where he was.
"I can't imagine you holding an infant." Storm said as Logan was many things nurturing a baby was not one of them.
Logan grunted at that as he agreed fully and in all honesty he didn't see himself as someone who should hold a baby "His name is Peter Parker?" he asked having found the name familiar.
Logan soon found himself on a plane, he was with two brunettes, and he was laughing saying Mozoltov to the man, and saw the woman laughing wholeheartedly, he then got multiple flashes of dodging bullets with the pair until his mind stopped at one image, the woman on the floor, having three claw marks on her clearly pregnant stomach.
"Logan!" Storm said calling out to him "Logan are you alright?" she asked as he seemed to go into a daze when he said Peter's name and then it looked like he was hyperventilating.
"I-I'm fine." Logan said lying through his teeth wondering what he just saw 'Did I…kill her?' he thought to himself as he knew he had a shady past and a violent one, but to have killed a pregnant woman seemed so vile to him it made Sabertooth look decent.
(few days later)
"You killed Kurt?" Spider-man asked Rogue finding that odd as Rogue explained she found some kind of blaster and it went off vaporizing Kurt "Let me see it." he said as he doubted a weapon like that would've been left unattended without safety restrictions and to add insult to injury he doubted one would be so high tech.
They were caught off guard hearing Toad laughing like an insane madman having the blaster on his person.
(few minutes later)
"This is pretty advanced for the 80's." Spider-man said as he was impressed, he was almost positive not many scientists today could build such a device "From what I can tell you didn't vaporize Kurt, this device is more matter displacement." he said to her seeing he lost her "He's not on our frequency where we can SEE him, but he is still here, in a general sense." he said to her.
Rogue felt a massive amount of relief hearing that.
"Yo, it's Spider-man!" Evan said as he and the other X-men had just arrived.
Kitty saw him and waved at him shyly.
"Always a pleasure to meet a fan." Spider-man said to them "Now hold on, I need to reset this thing-!?" he was saying dodging a red beam blast "Pal, blast me again and we'll have a problem also I highly doubt you know how to operate this thing." he said to them 'You think you can keep them busy?' he asked Venom as he didn't need Peter's eyes to see as he could see through pretty much any of his symbiote mass if he focused.
Spider-man got his response as giant white tendrils shot out his back and started attacking the X-men "You have any powers?" he asked her seeing her eyes glow for a moment "Ok." he said getting to work.
"Yo it's the machine!" Toad said as the Brotherhood now arrived.
The X-men and Brotherhood being so close together leads to only one thing.
'Thank god I work fast.' Spider-man thought to himself as the two groups fought viciously he picked up the blaster and fired.
Everyone stopped seeing a transparent Kurt.
"We need more power!" a man next to Kurt said loudly.
Spider-man heard that and looked around the trashed lab and saw a nearby outlet and ripped it out 'Hopefully this'll work.' he thought grabbing a loose wire and plugging it into the device seeing it fire a more intense beam just as Kurt and the other guy arrived in a nice car "You two ok?" he asked getting a thumbs up and at that moment smashed the device.
"No!" Toad said seeing his favorite toy destroyed.
Spider-man raised his hands making his signature hand gesture "Now that idiocy is done with." he said webbing some of the X-men and Brotherhood to the walls "I'm going home." he said as he left Rogue following behind him.
"Hey…thanks for bringing Kurt back." Rogue said to him a massive amount of guilt leaving her.
"Listen word of advice, if it looks like a lab, try not to touch anything." Peter said as pretty much every lab he had been to had offensive measures or something dangerous in it.
Rogue nodded in full agreement.
(1 hour later)
"It probably wasn't the best idea to shoot first man." Evan said to Scott as they all had managed to get free and then fight the Brotherhood.
"Like yeah, have you seen Spider-man fight?" Kitty asked as she was certain Logan couldn't beat him.
"The hell happened to you?" Logan asked smoking outside having gotten lip from Storm about indoor smoking, he saw the kids looked a little more tired from school than usual.
They explained what had happened or rather Kurt did from his perspective.
Logan made a mental note to go see this 'Forge' but he was rather curious about the groups' interaction with Spider-man having not seen him since their first meeting, he was able to get the first names of Spider-man's parents 'Richard and Mary'.
"Listen I was just worried about Kurt." Scott said in defense realizing this was the second time he shot at a hero.
"He was skilled that was for sure." Jean said as she and Scott were amongst the first to join the institute years ago, besides Ororo and many others the professor helped, but Spider-man made the training she and Scott have done look like a joke and after asking Kitty and being shown many of his fights, she felt none of her training could keep up with what he could do especially with how he pushed them all aside.
Logan had to agree "He has a teacher you rarely get, experience." he said seeing their confusion "He and I live a similar life style." he said seeing they were still confused "I live on the edge where I risk everything, I'm hard to kill so I can risk it." he said to them as he often made sure they understood he was indestructible so they were not to copy him unless instructed "This guy does the same, every risk and every injury teaches him, in all honesty he learns more than you do and since he goes out all the damn time he trains more than you." he said to them.
That was a tough pill to swallow for Scott and Jean.

Mystique was annoyed, she didn't like not knowing about a piece on the board, even when the piece was neutral, she was tracking down leads and found something that rocked her to her core, Peter Parker's mother was Mary Fitzpatrick 'It's not possible.' she thought to herself.

Mystique fought as much as she could as she was strapped to a table and unable to shapeshift, she was terrified as she had seen the tank beneath her and the scientists were going to lower her into it, they were gonna force her into a sort of hypernation coma and inject her with mutant enhancing drugs.
Mystique was caught off guard when she started hearing gun shots and the scientists began to panic, she felt terrified when some of their heads exploded and a woman in a black body suit entered, she had red hair and a face that made Mystique not want to anger her.
"I'm looking for a child." the woman said to her seeing Mystique's panicked face "If you can tell me anything I'll let you go." she said to her less tensely.
"T-They keep prisoners on the lower floors, they keep experiments higher up for possible transport." Mystique said to her and before she knew it, the woman undid her straps on her wrists "You're letting me go?" she asked in surprise.
"I'm a woman of my word, don't put me in the same category as these waste of space." the woman said picking up a gun from a corpse "Here, you can fight your way out, I killed everyone that got in my way." she said to her.
Mystique quickly decided that woman was not someone she wanted to fuck with "You're looking for a child?" she asked her curiously.
"Yes, my infant son." the woman said seeing Mystique wince as she got up and walked to her "You can escape you know, you don't owe me anything." she said to her simply.
"You saved my life, I can't ignore that." Mystique said to her "And I…couldn't protect my child and he paid the price for it." she said thinking of Kurt.
The woman saw the look in her eyes and gave her a look of appreciation.
Mystique followed her and looked in the opposite direction seeing the woman had left a trail of blood and bodies "What's so special about your son?" she asked wondering what these people wanted.
"Something my husband tried doing to himself." the woman said to her "Hi I'm Mary…Fitzpatrick." she said haven't had to use her maiden name for some time now.
"What does your husband have to do with this?" Mystique asked her wondering what was so special about this baby.
"He experimented on himself and while they failed, it carried out in our child when I got pregnant." Mary said not sounding to thrilled "My son's DNA is powerful, my husband's research is all in him." she said in a non joking way.
Mystique was not sure if she was understanding properly "So he's a mutant?" she asked her.
"No, he's much more than that, his DNA is able to take the most strongest parts of itself and reject impure parts and to top it off, it is adaptable, it can literally be changed, but my child is even more special as my husband can't place it, but his genetics allow him to withstand a lot more than what any human or mutant is capable of." Mary said to her.
"Are you…a mutant?" Mystique asked her curiously.
"No, but my asshole friend is." Mary said to her "He…has it rough, but I can't trust him as much as I did before." she said to her holding her side.
"Did he?" Mystique asked the question.
"Stab me, yeah…he almost killed my son." Mary said seeing Raven's eyes catch on at the implications.
They were interrupted by a dozen guards Mary quickly executed.
Mystique thought she could be ruthless, but this woman made her seem tame.
(20 minutes later)
"There you are my precious little baby." Mary said seeing her baby in a infant tank seemingly unharmed "...and two other baby's." she said seeing a boy and a girl "You mind watching them, I'm gonna make sure nothing was taken from them and that all evidence is wiped and also set this place to self destruct." she said non chalantly.
"You have the scariest mother on the planet." Mystique said to Mary's baby as she had known Mary for all but an hour and she terrified her.
Mystique looked at the other infants and her eyes stopped at a baby girl, she seemed uncomfortable so she checked on her, she froze when the baby's eyes opened and looked at her, she felt weak, but then the baby girl smiled at her, it crushed her in a way like no one had in her life.
"You seem attache, guess you are a mother." Mary said to her "My son is safe and I found out where the little guy's parents are." she said looking at the baby boy.
Mystique felt a pit in her stomach "What about her?" she asked seeing Mary's gaze lower.
"They killed her parents, not other relatives." Mary said to her.
Both women looked at the little girl and saw her nuzzle against Mystique.
"But I think she found someone to take care of her." Mary said as Raven stuttered and began to say she was unsuitable "Listen, no one told you to pick that baby up and the way you're holding her I don't think you want to let go." she said seeing Mystique go stiff "I don't know what happened to your child, but I see the care in those eyes." she said rather smugly.
Mystique wavered as Mary seemed to be enjoying this, but her words touched her heart.

'Of fucking course, he's your son.' Mystique thought to herself remembering that day vividly, it was how she got her daughter 'Cross species genetics.' she thought to herself remembering what Mary said her baby was capable of, having been with Magneto and his mutant enhancing experiments, she knew a bit about science "I'll need a blood sample." she said in thought wondering what was so special about Peter's blood.
(next day)
"A DNA test?" Peter asked curiously as the school was working with this company and it seemed legit along with the fact that everyone is being given an NDA for their safety "To test our ancestry?" he asked as he knew his father and uncle were American raised, his aunt was British, and if he remembered right his mother was Irish.
"Sounds interesting." Rogue said knowing jack squat about her ancestry having been an orphan and adopted.
Peter looked at the NDA and it was pretty solid as there would be no copies of the results made and the blood was disposed of upon results and it was all done by computer.
'Humans are idiots, plus not many could figure out your spider half.' Venom said to him seeing it as interesting.
Peter had to agree with that as it took a powerful computer and a skilled mind to see his genetics were less human.
(later that day)
Mystique was in a private lab she appropriated for herself for a short time and was analyzing Peter's blood, it was fascinating to behold, she had learned it was able to absorb radiation making the cells stronger 'That is an interesting power.' she thought wondering if it was ALL types of radiation as sunlight was a type of radiation, she wondered if that was what made him so strong.
'Moment of truth.' Mystique thought to herself taking a drop of his blood and adding a drop of her blood, she pulled up a screen and analyzed the interaction between them.
Mystique watched as Peter's blood interacted with her's the blood seeming to swarm her X-gene and she watched carefully as it broke apart seeing it get absorbed by the other cells 'It's not possible.' she thought to herself running a scan and to her surprise found no traces of the X-gene, but did see there was a change in his blood cells.
"Interesting." a deep echoing voice said surprising Mystique.
'I really need to put a bell on him.' Mystique thought to herself "And what would that be?" she asked him not sure she was understanding what went through his mind.
"His blood cells annexed the X-gene while killing your blood cells." Magneto said looking at the blackness that was Mystique's blood and seeing there was no X-gene present in the scan.
"His cells… absorbed mine?" Mystique asked wondering if this is what Mary meant "Does that mean…?" she asked him.
"That he would have your powers, that is unknown." Magneto said never having seen anything like this before in his life.
Mystique was silent as while she worked with Magneto there were things not even she would do, like dishonor the person who saved her life and gave her Rogue, she had done a lot of…really crappy things, but that won't be one of them.
"His blood if it were not so volatile would be a holy grail, a way to turn others into mutants." Magneto said as he had tried to find ways to activate the X-gene on a mass scale, this was something not even he could expect "A mutant without an X-gene." he said wondering about the implications as one weakness all X-gene users shared was that they were vulnerable to the same ways to shut down the X-gene and deactivate it, if Peter's blood was any indicator it might mean there was a way to further evolve mutants and take away their universal weakness.
Mystique was curious as to what would happen to Peter if he got a more…massive infusion of the X-gene and if she was as smart as she thought she was, Magneto was thinking the same thing.
(Prison)
"Are the lines bugged?" Felicia asked her father curiously.
"No." Walter said to her "This is a surprise, you came here the legal way." he said reminding her of her last attempt.
"I had to ask you something." Felicia said as she brought out a newspaper and slammed it at the glass between them.
Walter saw it and sighed "Yeah, I killed that man." he said to her "Felicia I am gonna be honest with you, this life I have lived, has been full of excitement, danger, and risk." he said to her seriously "In truth, I never really cared about it, because in my youth no one could catch me or keep up with me." he said as he was at the top of his game "But that changed the day I met your mother and more so when we had you." he said with a sad smile "All my enemies all the people I wronged, I could escape them easily, but you and your mom, I couldn't put you two in that line of fire." he said sadly.
"But, you were still a thief." Felicia said pointing to the newspaper.
"That was more…me going after less valuable marks, I still wanted the thrill, I thought if I aimed low on the food chain, I could've kept going." Walter said guiltily "Felicia, I shouldn't be your hero, think about your mom, what if someone found out who you were and wanted to pay you back, look where that life put me, in jail, can you imagine, the risk you could put on anyone you care about by just being near them, what if you do settle down later on, what then would that mean for your family if you get caught?" he asked her.
Felicia took that question as a slap to the face still remembering what Madam Web showed her, how a version of her used a made-up child on Spider-man "You know who he is don't you?" she asked not needing to say more.
"I do and he's a better man than I could've ever hoped to be." Walter said as he knew Spider-man was Peter Parker the day that newspaper came out, to many dots connected especially given he killed Ben Parker.
"I tried…hating him, but I couldn't when I figured it all out." Felicia said seeing him look surprised.
"That's a surprise." Walter said as his daughter took after him in pretty much every aspect aside from two things gender and the trait she shared with her mother, if she felt crossed there would be hell unlike any other.
"I'm changing, but on my terms." Felicia said as after Madam Web showing her how she could end, she knew she needed to find a better way, as her father was right about this life and the enemies it could bring, she needed to change it somewhere and she knew where to start.
(next day)
Peter was taking a day off given it was the weekend, he was tired and after dealing with the X-men and Brotherhood he was looking forward to taking a break, he was in his lab as recently Fury gave him a project, the Super Soldier Serum.
'Huh, this only affects non-enhanced or non-mutant cells.' Peter thought to himself guessing that those acted as a buffer or a type of antibody from the more harmful effects of the serum, he looked at Captain America's blood, in all honesty, it was a bit horrifying to behold as his cells were somehow ripping themselves apart and healing the damage, but not fast enough to keep up with his declining health, he called Fury.
"What?" Fury asked him curious to what he needed.
"I have a bit of good and bad news." Peter said as he began "Good news is there may be a treatment for Captain America." he said to him "The bad news is you need a healthy donor that the machine worked on, you need a mutant or someone with powers." he said to him simply as that was it cut and dry.
"Would you be willing?" Fury asked him curiously.
"I have irradiated blood, even if I was dumb enough to do that, you'd need his blood type." Peter said to him.
"Are there other options?" Fury asked him knowing Peter was smart.
"There is one, but it's a bit extreme." Peter said as this was almost insane "I read that the gas was administered as a gas in the project, the formula is first a liquid before it's electrified and the sealed chamber contains and irradiates it a slight bit." he said reading the notes seeing it was to further enhance the gas, but if he was right turning it to vapor decreased the potency and the use of radiation possibly made it unstable.
"How is this an option?" Fury asked him not seeing the choice.
"We need to give someone an undiluted liquid injection of the super soldier serum, we do that and we have a donor." Peter said as that was probably the only other way.
"Would a healing factor help the case?" Fury asked as Logan was probably his best bet if he was a match.
"If you're thinking Logan then the answer is probably no, in fact, his body may just reject it altogether." Peter said to him as while the cells were unfazed with enhanced and mutants, there was no telling how the body might fight the change at first, he saw there was little risk, but with a healing factor, it was very likely.
Fury was silent for a moment "Keep working see if you can find any other solutions, I'll see if I can find a possible donor, I have Cap's medical records so I'll do my own search, do you have the liquid serum?" he asked him.
"Yeah, it's pretty useless without all the notes and if someone was dumb enough to take it they'd most likely die and I put a tracking device on the vial." Peter said having his own contingencies.
Fury grunted in approval .
Peter placed the glowing vial down and went to go make himself a meal big enough to fill his stomach.
(1 hour later)
Felicia had found Peter's home pretty easily, May gave her the town information, and checking social media she saw he was blowing up for taking on a team of jocks, she climbed in through the window upstairs 'Clean room.' she thought thinking he would've been a slob like most guys, she exited and heard noise from the kitchen 'Might as well explore.' she thought to herself.
Felicia looked around seeing the large house wasn't used aside from Peter's bedroom and what she could only guess was downstairs, she soon found a lab and pinched her nose 'Pizza and ramen.' she thought having eaten the same whenever she staked a place out, just as she was about to leave she saw something shine and it caught her attention 'Ok glowing liquid…that's a new one.' she thought to herself looking around and saw a file 'Super Soldier Serum…where do I know that name?' she thought to herself looking deeper into the file 'Steve Rodgers…Captain America!' she thought in realization as she never paid much attention in history, but everyone knew who he was 'This is what made him so strong.' she thought to herself remembering a picture of him lifting a tank.
It was either greed, stupidity, or her intense desire to be stronger and much more than she was, but whatever it was made Felicia inject it into her body, and before she knew it her world went black.
(few minutes later)
"Shit!" Peter said on repeat as he found Felicia and the empty vial "You damn idiot, the hell is wrong with you!" he said placing her on his bed the moment he did she began to spaz uncontrollably and what was more shocking was he could see her hair changing between her natural platinum color to a bright sunny blonde color.
"So….she's gonna die." Venom said simply materializing next to Peter through a tendril from his shoulder as after having been in Peter's nerd brain for so long he understood most of what was happening to her.
"I can fix this, maybe." Peter said not sure how as he was testing cells, not an actual living person "Wait." he said looking at Venom "You can help her." he said as Venom was able to cure most if not all diseases, he got a cold in his first week after Venom and him bonded and Venom was able to kill off the virus.
"You want me to separate from you to her, I can't idiot, we're bonded for LIFE, no amount of bells, sound, or science can separate us." Venom said as that was what it meant to be permanently bonded, they were fused forever.
"...Can you enter her body while still attached to me?" Peter asked him curiously.
Venom was silent "...I've never pulled that off before, a symbiote can grow and sever itself making extensions of itself, but to be connected to two people two once?" he said never attempting such a thing or hearing it.
"Listen, she saved my life and I didn't like how I left things with her, I won't forgive myself if I let her die." Peter said to him.
"Fine, but just so you know, I don't know what will happen next if we do this." Venom said to him as he encased Peter's body and shot white tendrils at Felicia "Ok that tingles." he said as his biomass was coming into contact with the serum "Now we-!?" he was saying before jolting in shock.
Peter felt this as well and soon before he knew it he fell onto the floor into unconsciousness, the symbiote tendrils snapping and being absorbed into Felicia's body.
