[Somewhere Outside Of Teyvat]

"So you wish to defy the Heavenly Principles?" A Female figure hovered tall over a single person.

"Lady, I dont know who you are. But, if you came here looking for a fight..." The man stood with his polearm ready to strike, right foot tucked behind his left as if he was ready to spring into action. "You came to the right place." His heterochromatic eyes flashed a bit of color, but it was light from the sun shining.

He lept in the air getting ready to deliver a strike, and as he thrust his polearm forward he struck her wing. "Lets get this bird out the sky." He said more to himself but outloud.

"So you believe my wings are how I fly, you are mistaken." Her dark golden eyes glowed as dark red diamond shaped energy manifested beside her. "Behold, the fate you cannot escape." The diamonds shot forth energy and colided with the walkway the man was standing on.

"It seems like not only are we foolish, you also have terrible aim." His voice rang from behind her. "Now fall!" He roared as he tried to skewer her from behind. Only for the sound of flesh being pierced to ring thought out the area. "H-How?" He asked before he coughed up blood.

"I am the Sustainer of the Heavenly Principles. You have been chosen to travel my world, O Outlander Mine." She said as she turned to look him in the eye. "Now, where to send you."

After a bout of coughing the man raised his head. "Somewhere, nice where I dont have to look at you much longer." His laugh was weak, but the Sustainer wasnt having it.

"You will be sent to Liyue, The Land of Contracts. Get stronger and seek me out." She said as she activated her power and cubes covered his body.

"Bitch." He said just before blacking out.

[Teyvat -Liyue -Jueyun Karst]

[Cloud Retainers Abode]

"Where did you find this one Cloud Retainer?" A deep male voice sounded, as the man regained conciousness but tried to remain asleep.

"One didnt find him, he fell from above Ones abode." The White Crane said cautiously, "One plans on questioning him once he awakens, Moon Carver."

"We do not have to wait much longer then." The other crane said.

"Mountain Shaper, what do you mean?" Moon Craver asked, the deer clearly confused.

"You know where Im from, its rude to speak of other behind their back." The man said as he entered the open space, his body bandaged up and a prominent limp.

"So, Outlander, One wants to know how did you come to being here in Teyvat.?" Cloud Retainer asked remembering the events from the other day. A mortal falling from the sky, in strange clothing, and a hole where their gut used to be, was surprising. One had to stop their student from furthering his suffering.

"Teyvat? This isnt Earth? Aw damn. Looks like I really am in another world." The man said as he took a seat from across Cloud Retainer. "Well, as much as I currently remember. I was attacked by a god calling themselves, the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles. The last thing I remember, is being told. 'You will be sent to Liyue, The Land of Contracts, get stronger, and seek me out.'" The man said before holding his head. "Fuck, it hurts."

"Thats because the medicine is working!" Moon Carver said with pride. "At Mountain Shaper and Moon Carvers pleading, One concluded it was best to heal your most grievous wounds using our power." Cloud Retainer said as she walked over to him, and checked his wounds. "On another note, One has observed that you are abnormally calm at the revelation of being torn from your world."

"To be honest, Im terrified. But, I gotta look on the bright side. I was given a task, and a way back. IF I decide I want to go back by the end of my journey." He shrugged, he was a go with the flow type. Right now, best to just go with it.

"You are unique I'll give you that." Moon Carver huffed. "Well, since the human seems fine, I'll take my leave Cloud Retainer." The deer said as he left the table and walked towards his abode.

"I shall take my leave as well. I do hope to see your potential in the future, human." Mountain Shaper commented as he flew away back to his abode.

"Those two act like absent fathers. Once responsibiity comes calling, they run away."

"You have no idea how often THAT happens." Cloud Retainer said agreeing with the man. "What name do you go by human? So I may address you properly."

"Kriv Dreadborne." He said after a long pause. "Kriv will do just fine, Cloud Retainer. Now, if you excuse me, I must get some rest."

[5 years later- Outside Cloud Retainers Abode]

Its been Five Years since Kriv was brought to Teyvat. Cloud Retainer was kind enough to offer to train him, since he knew no one or had any idea where to go.

Kriv stands at exactly Six Foot tall, has a mocha skin tone, messy black hair with light blue streaks, and heterochromatic eyes; one black, one one white. He wears white arm sleeves with cloth that looks like a cranes wing. A black shirt with red rope around the hem of the shirt towards the bottom, and around the arms. A pair of black baggy pants with red rope going down the sides, and a standard pair of sandals.

"Kriv, One wishes to speak with you." Cloud Retainers voice sounded in his head.

"Yes, Master." He responded as he turned to walk into her abode.

"I have taken you in for five years. You've learned almost everything I taught you, you are ready." The Crane said with pride in her tone.

"Go into Liyue and look for your senior. Her name is Ganyu, and she is the Secretary to the Liyue Qixing."

"Yes, Master. I thank you for all of your teachings." He said with a bow as he recieved a map of Teyvat.

"I marked Liyue Harbor on your map. Have a safe journey, Kriv. Also, be sure to speak with Shenhe before you leave. You know how she gets if you leave and dont tell her." The illuminated crane said in a knowing tone.

"How long have you known?"

"A couple years now."

"That obvious?" He chuckled sheepishly.

"I can tell you care for each other."

"You could say we've grown attached." Shenhe said standing next to her fellow student. "Is he ready to leave, Master?" She asked looking at him.

"Well, spending five years with someone you learn alot about them." He chuckled, "Besides, Master thinks I am, so I'll go see our senior and see if she has any leads." He said a with a smile. "I'll see you later ok? I promise." He gave her a wink and headed straight for Liyue Harbor.

"Hyup" was all that was heard as he jumped into the sky and landed on the nearby mountain top.

"Show off." Shenhe said as she shook her head with a smile.

[Liyue Harbor]

The sun was just rising over the horizon, the markets were preparing for another busy day, and The Albacor was anchored just off the coast. The Millelith were patroling the quiet streets. But it there seems to be an issue at the main gate.

"Im just looking to pass, I dont see the issue here." A man dressed in black and white said while being confront by five soldiers. "Im just here to see Ganyu then I'll fuck off, jeez." His annoyance apparent.

"Look, I dont know who you are or how you know Lady Ganyu, but you arent welcome here." The guy in charge said pointing his spear at the man.

"And Im going to only say this once, get out of my way before you get hurt."

"Is that a threat?!" The guard yelled in frustration. This guy cant be serious, asking for one of the Qixing by name and expecting a warm welcome.

"Its a promise." The mans eyes focused on him.

"You! In the back! Go alert Lady Yuheng and Lady Ganyu of this mans presence!"

"Got it boss!"

"No, need, Im already here." The annoyed voice of who the man assumed was the Yuheng. "Who are you? And what is your reason for coming here.

"My name is Kriv. Im here to see Ganyu." His voice calm and unwavering. "I didnt know coming into the harbor to see my Senior was a crime Lady Yuheng."

"Its not but, dressing like that will make our guards cautious of you." The puple haired girl said as she stood infront of him after a flash of lightning. "Do you have a quarrel with The Qixing?" She asked.

"Kriv! Im here!" The voice of the person he was looking for reached his ears.

"Ganyu stay back! We dont even know if hes telling the truth."

"Ganyu-senpai! Finally, Cloud Retainer believes Im ready to go on my journey." He gave Ganyu a hug. "I missed you. Are you getting enough sleep?" He asked her more questions ignoring the confused looks of everyone around them.

"Im fine, Kriv. Yes, Im getting enough sleep. That massage you gave last time did wonders." She giggled as he let go. "How is Shenhe? Have you asked her yet?"

"Ganyu... as much as I enjoyed my time in Teyvat so far, I dont know if im even coming back after my journey. And as close as I've gotten with her, I dont want her to leave Teyvat behind." He told her in a hushed tone.

"Ganyu?" Her friend said with a worried look on her face.

"Thats pretty selfish, Kriv. If you dont want her to be torn away from her people then stay. You also cant make that decision for her." Ganyu beat on him with an upset tone.

"Im not from this world, Ganyu! I dont want her to pick between me or her home!"

"Your afraid she'll pick you..."

"Yes! As much as I dont want to be, Im afraid she'll pick me then regret it later." He couldnt hold that fear in anymore. He pulled the hood up on his jacket and dipped his head. "We'll talk about this later. Wheres the Adventurers Guild? I exterminated every last hilichurl in the countryside and I'll need the Mora for this trip." Quietly, the Qixings Secretary led him towards the Guild.

Everyone else was gobsmacked by how quickly that conversation went sideways.

"Alright! Nothing to see here! Remember you all saw or heard nothing!" Keqing instructed the Millelith.

"Sir!" a resounding answer responded to the command.
