After about an hour-long drive outside the busy city, Johnny and Kenshi arrived at the town where the national park is. Upon arriving at the town near the national park, Johnny parked the car, and the couple stepped out into the fresh air, greeted by the inviting scent of pine trees and the promise of a rejuvenating day ahead, " Ready, my love?" Johnny held his hand out to his husband's.

Kenshi nodded, giving Johnny a genuine smile, " Let's do this, sweetheart." The blind swordsman grabbed Sento and Johnny's hands with the other.

Hand in hand, Johnny and Kenshi ventured into the national park, exploring scenic trails and finding the perfect spot for their picnic. At the heart of the national park, Johnny Cage and Kenshi Takahashi laid out a cozy blanket, surrounded by the beauty of nature. The gentle rustling of leaves and the distant sounds of wildlife created a serene backdrop for their day outdoors.

Johnny couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude as he looked around at the picturesque surroundings. "Thanks for suggesting the park, Kenshi. It's exactly what we needed," he said, his eyes reflecting genuine appreciation.

Kenshi, sitting beside him, nodded in acknowledgment. "Sometimes, simplicity is the key to finding peace."

As they settled on the blanket, they observed children playing nearby, their laughter echoing. Watching the joyful scene, Johnny turned to Kenshi with a contemplative look. "You ever think about having kids, Kenshi?"

Kenshi, known for his calm demeanor, took a moment to consider the question. "Honestly, it's not something I've given much thought to. My life has been focused on other priorities."

Johnny, intrigued by Kenshi's response, pressed further, "Fair enough. But can you imagine us as parents? Little versions of us running around, causing havoc?"

Kenshi cringed at the thought, " I'm growing gray hairs already at the thought of mini Johnny cages running around."

Johnny placed his hand over his heart, pretending to act offended, " I'm sorry, I thought you would love our kids kicking ass and punching guys in the balls. Not to mention they are going to be mini sexy machines."

" That's what I'm afraid of." Kenshi pushed Johnny playfully, " It's bad dealing with one Johnny cage. I can't imagine dealing with multiples."

" And this Johnny Cage managed to steal your heart, Takahashi," Johnny whispered into Kenshi's ear.

Kenshi smiled, " Don't remind me, love."

" But won't it be interesting, Babe?" Johnny asked, looking at the kids playing in the distance.

Kenshi chuckled, picturing the scenario Johnny described. "It's an interesting thought. We could consider it, but it's never been my pressing desire."

Johnny, known for his theatrical nature, grinned. "Imagine the mini action stars we'd raise. They'd be pulling off stunts before they could walk!"

Kenshi laughed, appreciating the humor in Johnny's vision. "It would undoubtedly be an adventure."

As they continued to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the park, the topic of children lingered in the air. Johnny, content with the present moment, found solace in the idea that their life together, whether with or without children, held countless possibilities.

As time began to fly by, clouds emerged, covering the sun. The once vibrant atmosphere was replaced with gloomy gray, painting the sky above. Johnny and Kenshi took that as a sign to return to the small town. As they follow the trail back to town, Johnny takes Kenshi's hand and slightly squeezes it.

Approaching the small town, they passed by some restaurants and shops. An antique store caught Johnny's eye, " Hey Ken-doll, can we go inside? The mansion could use a new display," he suggested, excitement gleaming in his eyes.

Ever the practical one, Kenshi rolled his eyes, retorting, "We don't need anything from there, Johnny. Let's try to save some money."

Johnny, with puppy-dog eyes, pleaded, "Please, Kenshi. I promise not to go overboard."

After a sigh, Kenshi conceded with a resigned "fine." Johnny couldn't hide his joy and expressed his gratitude with a sweet kiss on Kenshi's cheek.

"Thank you, my sensible husband," Johnny said with a playful grin, savoring the victory of convincing Kenshi to explore the antique treasures awaiting them.

The couple ventured into the antique shop, hand in hand, weaving through aisles filled with history and nostalgia. Johnny's eyes sparkled with enthusiasm as he carefully selected unique items for their mansion. Kenshi, though initially skeptical, found himself drawn into Johnny's excitement.

Johnny Cage and Kenshi Takahashi wandered through the antique shop, exploring the rich tapestry of history that surrounded them. Using his mystical sword, Sento, Kenshi enhanced his vision to appreciate the artifacts' intricate details.

As they meandered through the aisles, at some point, they split off to different parts of the store. Johnny found himself at the front counter, glancing at the rare items in the glass case. Johnny's eyes caught a pair of beautifully crafted yin-yang necklaces. Contemplating the significance of these pieces, Johnny envisioned them as a symbol of the balance and harmony in their relationship. Pondering whether to get both for himself and Kenshi, Johnny's internal debate was interrupted by the watchful eyes of the shop owner, who noticed Johnny's interest in the unique necklaces.

" You're probably the first to be interested in those two necklaces." The owner said as he finished displaying old vases in the window seal.

" I'm just looking around, sir. But, they did catch my attention." Johnny said, turning his attention back to the yin-yang necklaces.

Approaching Johnny with a knowing smile, the owner revealed the unique nature of the yin-yang necklaces. "These are rare and hold a unique connection," he explained.

Upon glancing across the store to see Kenshi engrossed in examining other artifacts, Johnny felt a surge of affection for his husband. He knew he had to get these unique necklaces for Kenshi.

Sensing the connection between Johnny and Kenshi, the owner leaned in and whispered, "I can see he means a lot to you."

Johnny turned his gaze back to the store owner and smiled, " You have no idea; he means the world to me."

The store owner nodded, giving Johnny a sincere grin, " Take them son. I'll give them to you with a special discount?"

Johnny's face lit up with gratitude, and he replied, "Really?" He saw the owner nodding in responds, "Thank you, that would mean a lot."

The owner continued sharing the significance of the yin-yang necklaces, explaining, "They connect. One half can't exist without the other half. It symbolizes the inseparable bond between two entities." Johnny, touched by the sentiment, thanked the owner and decided to make the purchase, keeping the surprise for Kenshi intact. Johnny discreetly tucked the Yin-yang necklaces away with a secret smile into his tan jeans pocket, planning to surprise Kenshi later.

Looking around, Johnny found Kenshi at the back of the store. Making his way to his husband, Johnny tapped the blind swordsman's shoulder, " You ready to go?"

Kenshi nodded, " Yeah, let's go." He said, following Johnny to the exit.

Upon exiting the antique store, Johnny Cage and Kenshi Takahashi carried the hidden treasures and shared memories of their discovered artifact. They approached their car; Johnny couldn't contain the excitement of the surprise he had in store for Kenshi.

Seated in the car, Johnny turned to Kenshi with a mischievous grin, "Guess what, my love? I've got a surprise for you."

Kenshi, always practical, raised an eyebrow and inquired, "Did you spend a fortune on something we don't need again?"

Johnny, feigning offense, replied, "Hey, it's not a waste of money!"

Kenshi gave Johnny a teasing grin, " Okay, Carlton, what is it this time?"

Johnny pulled out the two halves of the yin-yang necklaces from his tan jeans pocket with a theatrical flourish. Kenshi's eyes widened in shock behind his blindfold, " Johnny! These are beautiful." He looked up back at Johnny, " How much were these?"

The actor smiled warmly, " The owner gave me a 90% discount. He told me about these necklaces' rarity and their uniqueness. I guess he saw how much you are to me."

As he gazed at the beautifully crafted pieces, Kenshi couldn't shake the feeling that he didn't deserve this kind of treatment, "Johnny, you didn't have to," Kenshi protested, surprised by the thoughtful gesture.

Johnny, placing a reassuring hand on Kenshi's, squeezed it gently. "I wanted to, Kenshi," he confessed, a hint of tears welling up in his eyes. Overwhelmed with emotion, Johnny continued, "You're the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I just wanted to show you how much you mean to me."

As Johnny started to tear up, Kenshi's expression softened. Grateful for the love and sincerity in Johnny's gesture, Kenshi reached out and embraced him, " Awe sweetheart…" he rested a hand on the back of Johnny's head, " You don't have to buy me worldly things all the time to show me how much I mean to you. Just you being in my life is more than I can ask for."

As a tear rolled down his face, Johnny squeezed Kenshi tighter in his embrace, " I know, babe. I just wanted to. Sometimes I want to spoil you." He said, pulling apart. Johnny carefully placed the yin necklace around Kenshi's neck, his fingers lingering with a tenderness that spoke volumes.

Kenshi, smiling warmly, reciprocated by placing the yang necklace around Johnny's neck. The exchange of necklaces symbolized their unity, the yin and yang merging into a harmonious whole. One cannot exist without the other.

Kenshi looked into Johnny's eyes and said, "Thank you, Johnny." In that moment, their connection deepened, transcending the material significance of the necklaces.

A shared warmth enveloped them; without words, they leaned in for a tender kiss. Their lips met in a sweet affirmation of love, sealing the moment with the promise of an enduring connection. As they pulled away, the yin and yang necklaces nestled against their chests, a constant reminder of the profound bond that Johnny and Kenshi shared.

As they pulled apart, there was buzzing from Johnny's pocket. Annoyed at the interference, Johnny looked at Kenshi before pulling out his phone and looking at the caller ID. It was one of his managers, " Ugh! What the fuck. Why can't my job just leave me alone for once."

Johnny didn't want to deal with anything work-related, so he declined the call. But it wasn't long until his phone buzzed again, " Damnit!" Johnny growled in annoyance. He gave Kenshi an apologetic look.

Kenshi nodded in understanding, " It must be important love."

" I'm sorry, babe." Johnny sighed before answering the phone, " This better be fucking good, Ian."

Ian's voice on the other end sounded urgent, "Johnny, we need you in the studio. It's important."

Johnny, initially resistant, reminded his manager, "I'm on vacation. Can't it wait?"

" I'm sorry, Johnny, it can't. We have a major problem. I'll explain when you get here." Ian said

" Why can't you tell me over the phone?" Johnny's patience was wearing then as frustration replaced it.

" Please, Johnny. It will be easier to explain in person." It almost sounded like Ian was begging.

Johnny looked at Kenshi, torn from spending with his husband or fixing the mess at his job. Kenshi gave the actor a nod of reassurance. Finally, after a reluctant sigh, Johnny gave in. "Fine. I'll be there, but you have much explaining to do, Ian." Johnny hung up the phone before Ian could reply.

The call ended, and Johnny's shoulders slumped as he turned to Kenshi. "I'm sorry, Kenshi. I know we planned this vacation."

Kenshi placed a hand on Johnny's, " Don't worry about it, Johnny. Let's take care of the situation at the studio, and we can go back to the house for a movie night."

The actor squeezed Kenshi's hand back, "I'll make it up to you, I promise."

The car started its engine, pulling away from the park's tranquility. Johnny, glancing at the road ahead, couldn't shake the frustration that lingered. He wanted to spend uninterrupted time with Kenshi, not being dragged back into work demands.

As they embarked on the long drive back to town, Johnny's mind wrestled with conflicting emotions. The car became a vessel for their journey and Johnny's internal struggle, leaving an undercurrent of tension between them. Once a symbol of escape, the road ahead is now stretched out as a reminder of the compromises one makes for the responsibilities that infringe upon the moments meant for love and connection.
