It has been six months since the Daragons arrived on Earth, during that time they learned to be accustom to the cultures of Earth and began to start a great
friendship with a lot of people who were their neighbors. Also, they learned how to play cards by the Terran standard, even teach them how to play Sabacc at that
time they were helping the United Earth Governments about hyperspace and taught them how to make Hyperspace engines, so they can learn how to traverse the
stars. "Jori how are you doing with that report for NASA about hyperspace lane courses?" Maggie asked giving her a cup of coffee, Jori looked at her and smiled
Maggie was in her robe after having a long night and spending time with Thomas in a professional and personal relationship. Jori and Gav noticed this when they first
met them in the JTF facility watching their interactions toward each other, Jori smiled "You know, I will never understand how Male and Female Terrans know how to
balance their personal and professional relationships." She said with a humorous tone. Maggie looked at her with a raised Eyebrow "Jori did you call us Terrans?" she
asked with intellectual curiosity, Maggie sat down across from her with her fingers interlocked under her chin. "Well yes, when I was studying your peoples history I
leaned that your people called this planet many names but the one that resonated for us to call you was the one name you called this planet, which was Terra so when
my brother and I thought that calling you Earthers was too inappropriate we decided to call you Terrans." She said with nervousness, Maggie leaned back and looked
at her with indifference, "I think the name Terran would be a very good name for people on this planet." Thomas said surprising the female Daragon sibling, Maggie
laughed and kissed Thomas when he walked by "And you said I don't have a poker face." She said with a loving smile, I never said you didn't have one." He said
walking to get himself a cup of coffee.
While they were sitting down enjoying their breakfast Thomas heard a knock on the front door, Thomas wipes his mouth, and heads to the door but he stops at his
biometric safe, he placed his palm print on the lock, and opened the safe he pulls out his pistol a HK .45 USP military issue pistol. He checks it and loads it. And places
it in his pants strap he walks to the door and looks through the window. He looks through the front window and sees a familiar face he opens the door "Hello
Alexandra how are you today?" he said with concern, Alexandra Wisemen became the Government liaison between the JTF and the U. S. Government. "Governor
Mertens here to give you this and my report on the status on the status of the Starbreaker 12 repair and development of project Pegasus " she said with pride
Thomas let her, and closes the door "Why don't stay a while we're having breakfast, and also did you see the new issues of National Geographic and Scientific
America.?" He said with a smile "No I haven't Thomas why?" she asked Thomas hands her the Magazine which showed Dr Franklin Yuan on the covers on Scientific
America and on the National Geographic headlines on both of them saying the Tale Of Two Races on one, and Evolution fact not theory, on the other. Alexandra sighed
"I hope decision on let him print his reports won't come back and bite us on the ass Thomas." she said with concern, they both walk into the kitchen and took a seat
and talked about the progress of their works.
Halfway around the world package arrived at desk of a man wearing a garb of a priest wearing a symbol of the order of the Vatican Knights, he opens the package
and see the cover of the magazine, he puts down the magazine, he takes a breath and picks up the phone to make a call "It's me I need to talk to his eminence, I
think we have a situation in America, and we have to deal with this As Soon As Possible." The priest said with concern, He hangs up the phone and huffs. "Spero ita
potest dici quod cito." he said looking at the magazine. Later that night a secret meeting between the Pope and his council. They all too a seat and talked about the

tone the council members shifted in their seats. "We tried to find out more about the about these humans your Eminence but the Americans and also the other
countries in the world are not sharing their information with us." The cardinal said with concern. One of the cardinals got up "Your eminence I say that we should kill
them before their influence destroys our belief system, right now a lot of people on this planet are questioning their beliefs and right now the Holy See, and other
Abrahamic Religions are losing people to the Heathenistic Religions of old." The Cardinal said with a stressful tone. The Pope got up and turned to the cardinal who
suggested the action "Cardinalis Borgia sumus Deo homines non necessarios homicidia, cupio loqui ad edendum, ad Praesidem Civitatum Foederatarum Americae.
Itaque mihi occurrere Daragons fata esse videre." The Pope said before leaving the chambers. "Et dices ad eum voca Praeses Richard vellem videre adeuntibus Novum
nostri mundi. Volo experiri et facere idem tempus legati de pace." he said stepping out of the room Borgia looked at the man while he left and stayed seated along
with another person "Giovanni he is making a mistake we have to strike and we have to strike now before it's too late" Borgia said with anger, "Angelo you heard what
the Pope said, he wants to see them for himself as a man of God you would understand why the Pope wants to do this?" Giovanni said calmly. Borgia leaned back "But
what if we can have a Pope that can agree to our cause?" he thought Borgia smiled and walked out to proceed with his plan.
A few weeks later Pope Francis has arrived at the United States to meet the two interstellar arrivals. Joseph and the others were there to meet him. "I can't believe it
the leader of one of the most closed-minded religion is coming here to meet the Daragons." Thomas said with disappointment, Maggie looked at him with humorous
embarrassment "Thomas mind your manners that's the Pope, I know you believe in the Pagan Gods but he is one of the most progressive people in the Vatican." She
said with assurance. "It doesn't mean that the Holy See don't have their own agenda, but I wonder who are the other two?" he said in a questioning manner. "The
man on his right is Giovanni McKenna he is an American born cardinal from Chicago born in 1960 he became a priest in the 1980s he is part of The Order of Saint
Lazarus. He is also with Doctors Without Borders, he's been ordained as un uomo santissimo a most holy man." Alex said clearing up the confusion. Thomas gives her
a questioning look "A most Holy Man how is that possible?" he asked, "He was doing charity work in every 3rd world country in the world, along with rescuing human
trafficking victims in other countries." Alex said with pride, "So that means he's the Right hand of the Pope the Good hand but the one on the left is the one I should
be worried about." Thomas said with concern "Angelo Borgia born in Florence Italy in 1975 he used to be in the Forze armate italiane, Army branch Arma dei
Carabinieri Tier 2 at the age of 19. He joined the Catholic Church four years later. He's a darker mirror of you." She said, the Pope made it to them "Governor Mertens
it is an honor to finally meet you." He said with pride Thomas shook his hand I's nice to meet you too Jorge Mario Bergoglio." Thomas said politely Alex and Maggie
looked at him with embarrassment, but Angelo Borgia looked at Thomas with disgust and contempt "You will address the Pope by his title." Angelo said with anger.
The Pope stops him "Governor Mertens walk with me" he said the two men walked toward a private spot "Senior Mertens I know that you believe in different Gods and
also strayed a way from love of God and for that I understand the you don't trust the Vatican and the Catholic Church but what if I swear to you that I will talk to
these people with an open mind." The Pope said with assurance, Thomas looked at him with understanding and nodded. "Ok Pope Francis I understand, but you will
have to do one thing for me, an apology to the many religions that were perverted by the Holy See in the last 600-800 years." He said The Pope looked at him and
nodded and shook his hand "I accept that deal" he said shaking Thomas's hand.
