Six months after Maggie left Thomas decided to step down as governor of New York during that time he sold the house that he and Maggie had to move on from the predicament that he was given because of Maggie's departur. Michael Alexander Crockett or the president of the United states as he is called by his constituents or Mr. president was a man in his late 60s with traditional male pattern baldness on his head he was a stern yet firm man yet fair but under the firm yet fair veneer of his political actions lie a man at heart was a man of action and a man of courage and a man of will during the time president Crockett was in a meeting with his Joint Chiefs of staff and also science consultants about the Daragon and their ship which they're trying to help out and to repair with a lot of help from many other countries world leaders within the planet of earth under his second term of being president United States he has basically did what no other president has ever done got the world to work together in order to basically try and bring humanity or Terrans as what the Daragon would call the humans of earth a leg up in space exploration even colonization of different planets which is of now possibility even though during the times of the past it has been noticed as science fiction with the help of the Dragons have been known as scientific fact. "OK so what's the status with our friends ship that's in our military black site that's being repaired by every scientific mind from NASA to whatever equivalent of space aeronautics that we have within this whole entire planet?" President Crockett said with a stern attitude one of the generals got up and stood in attention then inform the president of the situation of the stargazer 12 , "our reports indicate that we can repair the exterior with whatever metals we have seems to be mixing with the alloys that they have for their Starship really well Sir but the problem is it's trying to repair their engine we don't have the technology nor the wherewithal to make something like this or to well Sir reverse engineer the yeah because technology for us to basically to duplicate for our use for space travel Sir most of our top minds an example Neil deGrasse Tyson Sir can't even figure out the science of this hyperspace engine Sir but with the assistance of those two extraterrestrial humans we're starting to learn a little bit more about hyperspace engines than ever before Sir." General Latham said with a stern yet prideful attitude, President Crockett leaned back in his chair and remove his glasses, place his right thumb, and index finger on the bridge of his nose and a look of annoyance. "But Sir we do have some good news about the hyperspace engine repair though Sir." The Admiral said standing up alongside of his fellow joint chief, President Crockett looks up and leans forward. "What news do you have Admiral Leahy?" he asked with enthusiasm. "Sir it seems that our counterparts in Japan have found a way to basically substitute whatever medals that they have for the hyperspace engine it seems that if we replace it with a mixture of a gold titanium alloy or anything else that can hold a high yield of heat or a high degree of cold it could be a possibility that we can fix it with just a patch job if that could be possible Sir." He said with a nervous tone after hearing that news Crockett nodded his head and stood up and adjourn the meeting between him and his Joint Chiefs of staff at that time his secretary walks in and whispers in his ear and then after that he noticed a familiar sight Thomas Mertens was there to visit him and Michael Crockett was about to brief one of his fellow veterans about a mission that benefit the planet and also the people of Earth.
