Here I am back with a new chapter. Let's dive in.

Chp7 : Obsidian Fog part 5

"Allow me dear boy." Said Mortem. "When Juno was a little girl she had a difficult time fitting in amongst her own kind, she was born with the magical ability to put people into paralysis by ingesting their blood, hence why you can't move. "Her parents were the only ones who'd accept her but they were soon driven from their home, one day they were discovered by members from a hunting guild and her parents were taken away to be sold leaving poor Juno here all alone." The said demon girl stood there with her eyes shut and tears running down her cheeks in shame. "One day I happened to stumble upon her and I decided to take her in and raise her as my own, she then became a full fledged member of our guild and has been with us ever since. Carrying out a task for me."

Juno made her way over to them and took the vials containing the cure for the fog

"So you've been lying to us from the beggining!" Said Abner.

"My dad's are psychotic zombies now because of you.!" April said with anger.

"I knew there was something up with you." Carla spat out.

"Y…you lot don't understand I…I had to, I have no choice." She took the vials over to Mortem. Where he crushed them making the cure useless.

"You've done well."

"No all of our efforts have gone to waste."

Juno turned to her adopted father. "Um Mortem, now that that's over, are ya going to fulfill your promise you made me?"

"Oh yes, our little arrangement for helping me and betraying your friends." Mortem suddenly blasted Juno with a beam of magic making her collapse to the ground on her stomach but still conscious.

"W…what're you doing?"

"I'm simply giving you what you asked for my dear."

"What did you mean by Arrangemeant." Said Carla.

"Juno, did you make a deal with him?" Wendy asked.

"W…what'd he promise you?" Asked Zodie

"He promised that if I helped him then he'd let me see my parents again, he had the power to do that."

Mortem began laughing. "Did you actually think I could do such a thing, foolish child? I only said that so you'd become loyal to me."

"What!" Zodie said, clenching his fist.

"Oh and I should also mention that the ones who took your parents well actually worked under me."

The kids and Carla were shocked from the revelation Juno had tears racing down her cheeks, she had been set up by the one man she thought she could trust.

"How could you do that?" Asked Wendy.

"Your a monster." Said Abner.

Zodies head was down fist clenched, teething with anger, suddenly his eyes glowed yellow, his teeth grew sharper , his toes began to cut through his shoes revealing midsized talons. Finally he was surrounded by a dark purple auroa. This didn't go unnoticed to the kids who looked behind them.

"Wow Zodie you o-."

The Phoenix child then let out an ear piercing screech as he stood up being completely unaffected by Junos spell.

"Looks like we still have some fight left in you Mortem readied a blast but Zodie swiftly rammed his fist into his stomach sending him into the wall. Mortem breathed heavily, spitting up a lot of saliva before he fell face down. Zodie sprouted his wings and flew over to him, lifting him up by his head.

While was unleashed a pummeling to Mortem the kids were able to move.

"Wow what's up with Zodie the magic coming off him is crazy." Said April..

"Worry later what're we going to do now the cure is destroyed."

"Oh is it." Bulby came from behind April showing the vial.

"Y…you were able to save it." Said Abner.

"Well let's not waste any time, let's put it in the device and get rid of this fog already." Said Carla. The kids did just that Bulby placed the one vial inside and the machine did the rest releasing the cure in the air creating a smoke which started evaporating and spreading all over. Citizens began to change back to normal.

"D…did we do it? Is it finally over?" Asked Abner.

Juvia and Gajeel finally caught up to them. "You brats all good up here?" Asked the iron dragon.

"We saw the cloud from outside, you all did it." Said the water mage.

"Hey where's bird boy?" Asked Gajeel.

They got their answer when they heard a smashing sound from behind them. Zodie was throwing Mortem around like a ragdoll leaving him bruised. Zodie approached him and raised his foot ready to crush him, right before he brought his foot down Mortem unexpectedly caught it with surprising strength. "Mortem alright my turn." The dark guild master tossed the phoenix child away from him and underwent a transformation. He grew to be twelve feet tall with tentacles growing out from his face and wings sprouting from his back. His skin turned green and eyes turned bloodshot red. (Authors note basically cthulhu just not as giant). Zodie shot himself at Mortem but he was caught by the face and slammed to the ground then unleashed an all out pummeling on the phoenix child till he fell unconscious. "That;s what the hell you get you little punk nobody messes with the master of putr-." Before he could finish Juno landed on his shoulders and began clawing at his face. "You're going to pay for what you did, you goddamn wanker!"

Mortem used his mouth tentacles to restrain her and slammed her face to ground flying her through the ground til coming to a complete stop. "I never really liked you, you were only my puppet so it's time I cut your strings." The dark guild mage felt a blunt attack hit him sending him onto his stomach. Mortem rose to his feet seeing that the attack came from Gajeel. "Water cyclone." A stream of water hit Mortem stunning him and shielding the attack. "Sky dragon rooar." Abner and April decided to help out by sending out their own individual attacks at Mortem. "You wretched bastards." Before Mortem could reach out to them he felt a powerful tug on his wings, it was from Juno who was on her feet and now yanking on his wings causing Mortem pain. "Damn you let go of me." Juno managed to pull his wings completely off, making him yell in pain. "My wings my god da-." Gajeel then appeared to him and grabbed him by the tentacles and tossed him high in the air. "Dragon slayer secret art karma demon iron spiral." He jumped in the air after Mortem his legs turned into drills and struck the dark guild leader bringing him down through the roof through multiple stairs till finally crashing to the ground unconscious and defeated.

"We did it, it's finally over." Said Juvia.

"Wait what about Zodie?" Wendy said with concern. Carla flew her over to her friend to find him back to normal and groggily waking up.

"Oh my head, and why do I have the taste for kiwis?" Said the Phoenix child. Wendy hugged him in relief. "Wow, looks like I was missed, what happened?"

Carla walked up. "You don't remember what happened, you went all crazy and began to beat up Mortem."

The rest of the group came over. "Yeah man then he turned into a flying squid and began to pummel you." Abner said.

"Then Juno went crazy and she and Gajeel finished him off." April explained.

"Plus the good news is we stopped the fog so everyone should be turned back now." Said Juvia.

The group's eyes then fell upon Juno who was now back in her human form as she walked back over to the group with her head hung low. "Listen mates, I…I'm sorry for lying and betraying you lot."

"We'll you should be we-." Before Carla could go in on her April came over and embraced her in a hug. "It's okay none of us can say we really blame you, I mean I'd do the same if my dads were taken from me.

"Yeah I mean in the end it all worked out." Abner added.

Gajeel made back up to the roof now carrying an unconscious Mortem over his shoulder. "The magic council is probably gonna be on their way so we'd better give 'em a good explanation of what happened.

"I agree," said Juvia."

Over the next hours lots of citizens began regaining their composure the council were able to arrest each member of putrid carnage but the gang decided to leave Junos involvement out of it due to everything she's been through. April and Abner were reunited with their families. Meanwhile the fairy tail wizards told the rest of the guild what went on, most of them felt guilty with what happened especially Erza; she invited Zodie Wendy and Carla to join fairy tail so she felt like she's responsible for watching over them, like an older sibling watching her younger siblings.

Later that night Zodie was in a group lacrima chat with Wendy April and Abner discussing what just happened.

"We'll that was some adventure huh, I can't believe we got to work with fairy tail oh man." Said Abner.

"I know meeting Erza was such an honor, she was so cool."

"And don't forget the lovely Lucy." Abner said.

"Dude, as soon as you saw her your nose began to bleed and you passed out." Zodie said.

Wendy and April started to laugh. "Ok guys I better sign off it's about time I head to bed, said April."

"Ditto to that I gotta sign off to."

With that April and Abner left the chat leaving only Wendy and Zodie, the sky maiden then grew a serious look which Zodie noticed. "Wow Wends what's with that look?" Zodie asked.

"I saw you go ballistic on Mortem but you seemed different, not like yourself." Wendy sounded worried. "Are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm fine there's nothing to worry about, if there is you'll be the first to know."

"You promise?"

"Yes I promise."

"Okay we'll we'd better call it a night we need some rest goodnight."

"Night."

The Phoenix slayer drifted off into sleep.

Ok done yes I know this chapter was short and to all that but writing oc stories is hard, besides I want to get in with the actual arcs. Yogaratw607 thanks for the ideas as always. So the next arc will be conjoined with the rainbow sakura and fairy tail race. If you all have any ideas for them or many others. Also the thing going on with Zodie it will be explored soon.
