Chp 15: Escape Plan (Revised)
Carla and Happy were making their way towards the castle along with Cana and Lisana Leanne and Jura.
"I wish we could just fly in but you want to avoid being spotted by any Extalia knights." Said Happy.
Carla nodded. "Indeed now this time I have a plan; one that is of my own accord." She turned toward Cana. Cana your going to be a big part of it.``
At the gate stood two guards standing their board. "Oh man everyone else gets to witness the ceremony while we're here doing guard duty."
"Tell me about it." Replied the second guard equally irritated.
Suddenly Carla came walking up to them. "H…hey it's her that fulfilled her mission."
"That's right now if you could kindly stand aside I wish to enter!"
"Oh uh, we were told not to let anybody in."
"Excuse me but do you have any idea who you're talking to? I am princess of Extalia." The guards looked shocked. "That's right I'm the daughter of the king, and he won't be happy to hear about how lowly humans are treating his blood!"
The guards now looked scared; they stepped aside and opened the gate. "Our apologies please go right in."
Carla sprouted her wings and began to fly past them. "But first, where are the dragon slayers being held?"
"Basement west tower." Answered one of the guards.
The white exceed then took off in the western direction of the castle. 'Wendy everyone please hang on.'
In the basement Zodie began to give into the extraction. Natsu and Wendy weren't doing any better. This was probably the most excruciating amount of pain they went through.
"G…guys stay strong, keep up your spirits!" Natsu said in pain.
Byro merely crackle. "Yes spirit indeed that's whatI want from you."
Back in the desert with Edolas fairy tail the members were looking rather worried for two of its members who were not with them. The Strauss siblings were scared for their sister's safety and Edo Erza was worried for her big sisterly figure Wendy; she knew that she went off to find her Zodie but not if it meant if she'd lose her in the process.
Edo Lucy slammed her fist onto a table. "Damnit where the hell are those two, I knew we never should've let them go!"
Edo Erza ran and hugged Lucy. "Lucy they're gonna be okay right?"
"I…I don't know kid I really just don't know."
Edo Juvia came up. "And we can't even send out a search part without risking one of our own getting captured or worse, all we can really do now is sit and twiddle your thumbs."
Suddenly they were interrupted when the roof of their guild hall was torn off by a legion accompanied by several royal soldiers. "Oh crap they found us, Levy got us the hell out of here!" Lucy demanded.
But she didn't get the chance because a soldier tossed a spear into it, damaging it. "You're not going anywhere, not this time, it's time for us to end this." More and more soldiers began to gather and they were completely surrounded.
"How'd you scum find us?" Edo Droy asked.
"Your pals, the one with blue hair, ratted you out, she was so desperate to save her lover that she gave you up."
They were shocked and in denial no way would one of their own give them up but given the circumstance she was in it made sense to why she did it.
"If it makes you feel better you'll be joining them soon, alright men let's… what the hell." One soldier looked behind them to see a blur moving around quickly taking down soldiers one by one.
After their defeat two figures stood there.
Back with Carla she was nearing the western tower til an alarm started blaring. "What's happening?" She thought.
"Up there that's the one who rebelled." From below Carla saw a black fur colored exceed wearing armor this was Pantherlily one of the kingdom's generals.
Her attention was then caught from above. "There I spotted the traitor after her." Carla looked up and saw Nichiya with an army full of exceeds. That wasn't the only bad thing the courtyard below began to fill up with royal soldiers, she couldn't land anywhere. King Faust caught wind of the situation.
"Initiate cod E.T.D."
Soldiers began to bring out multiple cannons and activated them.
"Aim and fire!"
Blasting rays of green light towards the horde of exceeds, Carla managed to avoid the blast before looking up in horror as her kind began to scream in pain.
"What is the meaning of this, you dirty humans!" Shrieked in pain. Suddenly they were all then transformed into a large cat shaped like lacrima and it began to fall to the ground.
Carla looked on with a grimace pondering why the kingdom turned on the exceeds, beings they saw here as gods. Regardless, this was her chance to keep moving to the western tower. One of the soldiers spotted her, "That one's heading towards the west tower! Double the defense."
Now inside the tower Carla took out five cards revealing to be Cana Happy and Lisanna along with Leanne and Jura. The group had overheard everything that happened despite being inside of Cana's cards.
"I can't believe this, it's crazy out there!" Whined Happy with Carla nodding in agreement. Lisana was overwhelmed by the whole issue. "Why're they at war with one another, is this some kind of uprising against oppression?" She asked.
"It matters not, their conflict is not our concern, we must rescue our allies." Carla said. The group was now descending down the steps of the tower. The steps seemed almost endless; they thought how anyone managed this on a daily basis was insane.
"Carla's right though if they take each other it'll make it a hell of a lot easier for us." Cana agreed.
Before the group could take one more step they were halted by a large explosion in front of them. It came from the fairy hunter who was accompanied by soldiers.

"This is as far as you go!"
Lisana sneered. "Seriously, don't you have anything better to do than to deal with us!"
"Believe me I do and once you're out of my way I'll get back to that!" The slayers weapon begin to emit small greenish sparks.
"What is this?" Asked Cana.
The sparks began to explode blowing the group away. "That was but a taste of my power now get ready for the main course it'll really burn you." The slayer however was interrupted by the wall being smashed behind her. From behind to silhouetted figures stood there.
"You know what you're doing right now isn't very manly." Said a man's voice.
"And for that you'll pay dearly!" Spoke a feminine yet almost sinister voice.
"No way, Elfman Mirajane." Cana said with relief.
The Strauss siblings looked at their comrades but what really caught their eyes was seeing Lisanna. It was enough to make them let their guard down as the fairy hunter charged towards them but thanks to Mira snapping out of it she changed into her Satan soul form and defended her brother.
"Elfman you and the others and go find the rest I can handle this." Mira ordered.
Elfman came back to reality before running off with the others. "Y…yeah you got it best of luck sis, take her down like a real man."
"Hey, you're not going anywhere!" Said one soldier.
WHAM. Elfman knocked a few soldiers back with his beast arm black bull spell. "Move it were men on a mission." He led the group throughout the basement.
The slayer tried to follow after them but was stopped by Mira. "Leave them alone, I'm your opponent now!"
With the swing of her spear she took a fighting stance. "So be it."
…
"Hey Elfman I'm guessing you and Mira came form that lacrima in the plaza, was Gajeel the one who freed you two? Cana asked, making as they were making their way down further into the dungeon.
"Yep, one moment we were at the church…" Elfman was about to talk about how he and Mira were at their sister's grave but after seeing her doppelganger he just changed the subject. "Helping the kids out then we woke up here."
"Hell yeah now with full hands on deck will save everyone in no time." The card wizard cheered.
"We'd better split up you guys save the dragon slayers and we'll free the others." Jura announced. They nodded in agreements and took off in different directions.
In one part of the dungeon guards were still waiting on word to execute both Edo Zodie and Wendy, they were growing restless and irritated till one of them reached his limit.
"You know what, I'm tired of waiting for the boss man's orders to finish this." Before he got a chance he was frozen solid along with the rest of them. Jura then came over to the cage then used his strength to rip off the door.
"It's alright, we're friends." Said Leanne.
Edo Wendy was helping Edo Zodie out of the cell where his face was revealed. He looked like Zodie alright except with longer black dreadlock hair with a goatee, he did have a scar over his right eye. "Where's the others and little me?" Asked Edo Wendy.
"Not to worry they're being taken care of, let's get you two out of here."
Edo Zodie made them come to a stop. "Hold up, I'm not leaving just yet there's something I need to get."
*BAM*
With a single kick Elfman managed to knock the door and race inside the room where they spotted Natsu Wendy and Zodie motionless on the ground.
"WENDY!" Carla flew over to her partner. "Please wake up." The sky maiden groggily began to wake up. This made the white exceed jump and hug her.
"Hey, hey Zodie come on please get up." Cana said as she cradled Zodie.
"Come on Natsu, wake the hell up will yeah, be a man and get on your feet." He shook the fire dragon so much that some x balls fell out of his pocket. Which Carla noticed.
"Hey Elfman try feeding him one of those x balls, maybe with his magic restored that'll wake him up."
"Hey let me do it." Lissana said as she took the jar from Elfman. She grew a major blush on her cheeks as she got an idea to feed the pill to him. She placed the item in her mouth before she locked lips with him, making him take the x ball. Seconds later he started coughing up fire before charging out of the room like a bat out of hell.
"Allright it's ass kicking time dirtbags."
"Natsu, wait where are you going.?" Asked a confused Happy.
"Get back here you jackass!" Shouted Elfman.
"We'd better go after him." Cana said.
Wendy, now at full strength, was now fully awake. She then grew a worried look on her face. "Guy's our friends, they're in trouble, the royal army, they want to use the lacrima to destroy Extalia!"
Everyone was flabbergasted. "Wh…what did you say?" They asked in unison.
"Not only that but Zodie's magic they're gonna use it to make another anima spell."
"My lord, it is done."
Faust turned to face the short old man. "You've acquired what we needed?"
"Yes, the power of dragon slayer magic as well as phoenix slayer magic is quite a sight to behold."
Back in the basement
Wendy slowly started to regain her power by sucking in air and using her healing magic to help Zodie. "I read in Zodie's book that extalia's power keeps them afloat."
"True and I even saw the location of the big lacrima, it's right above Extalia" Carla chimed in.
"And your and Natsu's magic is what they need to do it?" Lisanna asked.
Wendy nodded to them. "Yes that's right."
"Ok then what're we waiting for, let's stop them before it's too late." Cana said.
Carla then stepped forward. "Alright people, this is a race against time, let's get to work, we need somebody to smash that lacrima and luckily I know where it is so we need to free our guildmates, next is to stop them from activating their weapon."
"Elfman, Cana, and Lisanna go after the king and stop him, knowing Natsu that's probably where he's going and I'm sure he got lost. And take Zodie with you. He'll wake up soon and we'll need his help when he wakes up."
Wendy then stepped up to her companion. "Carla, if we're going to be doing that then we need to warn the citizens of Extalia."
"Say what!" Carla shuddered. "No, I refuse. I couldn't care less what could happen to those creatures, besides being torn between the lacrima and the Extalia and only I know how to get to them."
"What about Pip, he rescued you so he'll know where they both are." Happy popped up. Carla looked down with uncertainty before she felt a warm touch to her head.
"Carla it's not about humans and exceeds anymore it's all about helping those in trouble."
"Alright let's stop lollygagging and get a move on, we're real men!" Said Elfman. As he took off running with Cana Happy and Lisanna followed him with Zodie hanging on his shoulder. Carla took a hold of Wendy and flew her out of the dungeon to meet up with Pip.
"Come on, come on where are they?" Edo Zodie was rummaging through the armory looking for his gear while Edo Wendy stood guard with a magic blaster. "Ah there it is." Edo Zodie walked out wearing an exo-skeleton suit with a jetpack with holstered weapons. Edo Wendy looked and wolf-whistled at her lover. "Damn, I almost forgot how good you looked in that." She said flirtatiously.
Edo Zodie smirked. "And I remembered how cute you look when you hold a weapon." They were lost in their own little pink world gazing into eachothers eyes.
"Ahem." Jura interrupted their moment. "I believe you have more time later to catch up right now time is of the essence.
"Right Wendy you Leanne and Jura go to the guild and help them."
"What." Wendy asked bewildered. "N…no we just got back together I'm not gonna leave you again." She begins to let out tears and begins to shudder.
"Hey look at me!" Edo Zodie grabbed his lover lightly by her arms and looked her in the eye's. "The guild needs you and these guy's here they need my help as well, plus they'll be after me the most and I'll have back up here from the earth-land fairy tail."
The blue head then grabbed him by the back of his neck, leaned in and gave him a passionate kiss which he melted into. After a couple seconds they broke apart. "You better come back to me you hear!" Edo Zodie nodded before Wendy Leanne and Jura left.
He took off in the other direction. "I'd better hurry, I've got a score to settle with that bronze bastard."
Again just revised it to handle the slayer's idnetity, they just used fire magic any idea on the idenity *wink wink nudge nudge*
