Dear Mum,
Today is the 19th of November, I'm sorry that I haven't written to you for a while. I'm alright, but I have gone through a lot this month. I had another spill and apparently my lungs are filled with some sort of potion fumes, which is why I've been so sickly. I think the potion she mentioned was 'Aeternus Praeteritus Posthāc Aetās', or something like that. I don't know what it means and neither does the medi-witch. Not what the words mean, but what it does to my body.
It's scary, knowing that a potion used for time-travel is in my system. What could possibly happen to me? I mean, you couldn't have made that potion while I was a baby, could you? You love me too much to hurt me, right? Why would something used for time travel be in my lungs? Doesn't everybody know that the potion is banned and has been banned since grandfather was in school? I really want to trust you, I really do.
Good Night,
Katie-Anne Corner
Dear Mum,
Today is the 21st of Novemeber and I'm pretty sure that you meant to send Grover the book you sent me this morning. I mean, he's the one doing poorly in his classes and not me, so why would you give me a book to help with studying? I'm confused, are you trying to tell me something? Also, why did you send me a picture of a girl that looks just like me, but with someone I don't recognize? And why does the picture say Allison Moore and James Potter? That's not a picture of uncle James, so who is it and why do you have a picture of them? I'm confused.
Good Night,
Katie-Anne Corner
Dear Mum,
Today is the 23rd of November and I spent most of the day in the hospital wing, so that the Medi-witch could figure out how to get the fumes out of my lungs, which she said could have been in my lungs since I was born. She told me that the potion was banned because it could turn out totally wrong and poison the one making the potion and anyone around them. Did you make a mistake?
Good Night,
Katie-Anne Corner
Dear Mum,
Today is the 30th of November and I can't write as much any more, because I have a lot of work to do. I'm sorry that I haven't written much this month, but I've been researching a lot. Grandfather found out about the potion fumes in my lungs and is rather mad at you, I think you know, because he left for a few days and came back even angrier than he was before.
Good Night,
Katie-Anne Corner
