It was the morning after him and Neia had their first time together.

He could absolutely not concentrate on his work at all.

Not only was the young love in his heart an overwhelming and new thing to him, but Albedo and Shalltear just insisted on standing around...

Well, he could just tell them to leave in a way they could not refuse, but he felt he really needed to keep up the act of having feelings for them, as any suspicions that this was not the case could also lead them to troublesome questions about why he took so much interest in a human preacher, but not the wives he supposedly cared for.

But he was now finally getting to the bottom of the pile of documents...

And there, he saw a report from Demiurge.

He grabbed it quickly, and started reading with great focus, making sure he understood every word.

After doing so for a few moments, he finished the brief report with glee. It seemed everything was ready.

Putting it down, he reached for one of the other, incredibly boring documents.

It was something about the Dragon Kingdom's growing economy. With the takeaway that this was probably a good thing, he felt that was enough of that, and reached for a new document.

This one was about the building of new villages in the Abelion Hills. It seemed this was also going without any major trouble, which was enough for him.

He reached for whatever the next document was, only then realising that the previous one was the last.

He exhaled in relief, making both of his wives currently in the room stop their glaring contest to look at him.

"My love? Is everything alright?"

"My beloved?"

He got up as he spoke.

"That was the good kind of sigh. Now that the paperwork is done for the day, I have important things to attend to now."

"Dear husband... why is it that you spend increasing amounts of time outside Nazarick? Is there truly nothing we can do to help you?"

"Yeah! I wanna help!"

He started panicking somewhat.

"I uhm... well, I have many other... projects. While it may seem that I am away, I may simply be working with the others... Uhm, Demiurge has been doing some work for me in recent times, for example..."

"... I see..."

He couldn't really tell what Albedo was thinking from those two words, but hopefully she bought it.

"Either way, I really should be going now."

"May I get a goodbye kiss?"

"M-me too!"

He sighed internally.

"... Fine."

...

After arriving in his room, he sat down on his bed to relax himself, and recover from the drama that ensued when he decided to kiss Albedo first.

When he felt calm enough, he used [Message].

"Neia? It's me, Ainz. Is this a bad time?"

"D-darling! Not at all! I'm just bathing."

This conjured up a beautiful image in his mind. He definitely wanted to bathe with her at some point, and so he made a mental note of it.

"I see. Are you busy today? I would like to spend the day with you again, and there's also something else that we need to discuss."

"I won't be busy for at least a few more days, due to all the preparations I made earlier."

"That's good... Can I arrive at noon?"

"Yes! That would be great!"

"Hm. Goodbye for now."

"Goodbye!"

And with that, he cut the connection, only to use another [Message].

"Demiurge? It's me, Ainz."

"Lord Ainz! What do you need?"

"I wanted to ask you about the report you sent in. How much time do you need to prepare everything? The time may come today."

"I only need half an hour!"

"Do you have any urgent duties?"

"Not at all."

"I see. Then please be ready to commence at any time, starting at noon."

... ... ...

When it was finally time for him to teleport to Neia's bedroom, he did so happily.

"Darling!"

She instantly ran to hug him. He hugged back while using one hand to play with her hair.

"Hello, Neia. I'm happy to see you."

"So am I!"

After a brief silence, he felt her hug tighten slowly.

"Darling... about yesterday..."

"Yes? I hope nothing is wrong?"

"No, not all! I'm just so happy we finally took this step..."

"I'm glad to hear that. I very much enjoyed it myself."

"Uhm... I... will this become a normal thing for us?"

"Oh, don't worry in the slightest. I intend for us to have fun like that regularly from now on… well, maybe not every date, but usually…"

"Ah, that's even better than I'd hoped!"

He chuckled.

"Well, let's sit down now, hm?"

"Yes!"

After they sat down, they immediately started holding hands, and Neia was cuddling up against his side.

"So, has anything at all happened since last night?"

"Not really... but, well... I hope it's not a big problem if a few of my servants know that we are involved in that way?"

"W-well... I suppose that's inevitable to some extent, but make sure to not openly talk about it... After all, we do not want everyone to talk about what we might be doing… Being open with such things is undignified for those of our status..."

He didn't really care about the whole undignified thing, of course. He was just concerned about anyone from Nazarick hearing about it. If they did, he would probably have to say that he implanted false memories in Neia. While that was a good excuse in isolation, it was bad if suspicious things just kept piling up regarding her.

"Of course! One of my maids knows, but I told her she must not talk to anyone about it."

"Good, thank you..."

After that, they simply sat there in silence for a moment, enjoying each other's touch.

But he had something to say today. Something important.

"... My love?"

She instantly perked up when he called her that.

"Yes, darling?"

"I wanted to talk about your transformation. It seems everything is ready."

"I-is that so?"

"Indeed. We've made some experiments, and it seems very promising. Any bad side effects will likely be completely absent, and the only most significant change you should expect is a pair of wings. You might also no longer benefit from food."

"Uhm, benefit from food?"

"Ah, you probably didn't have a chance to notice, but Nazarick food provides various minor strengthening effects, mostly making you harder to injure. From now on, you will probably not benefit from this at all, but I assume that won't be a problem, since I don't intend to allow you to risk your life."

She nodded.

"... but besides that, my ageing will be stopped..."

"Of course."

"Ahh... to spend an eternity with you... it seems too good to be true... The idea just makes me so happy, darling..."

He smiled internally.

It really did sound great…

...

The door to the meeting room opened, and Neia's parents stepped inside.

"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Baraja."

"Ainz..."

Pabel greeted him, while Sofia gave a slight nod in his general direction.

Once they sat down opposite him and Neia, he immediately started his explanation.

"I'll be upfront. We are meeting here because today, your daughter's race will be changed."

This made both their eyes widen.

"She will be turned into an angel. I obviously do not want her to die of old age one day, and so this will be used to prevent that by stopping her ageing. But don't worry, the changes to her body will be minimal. You will also be provided with several choices to stop your own ageing, as she of course does not want you to die one day either."

And now, they looked as if they were processing a great deal of information.

They also both looked to Neia, who simply showed them a happy smile.

It took them some time for either of them to finally say anything, and it was Pabel who did so.

"She... my daughter will live forever? And so will we?"

"Yes, assuming you chose to do so. I would urge you to, since the alternative is making her sad with your deaths, which is something I would hate to see. But like I said, you'll also need to choose one of several race change options. I will provide a list to you, and you'll have some time to pick your preference."

"That's..."

He rubbed his forehead for a moment before speaking again.

"You would do that for us... Ainz?"

"Of course. Why wouldn't I? I love your daughter, so this is only the obvious step to take, no?"

As he heard Neia make a small noise of happiness next to him, Pabel lowered his head.

"Thank you..."

"Uhm... Raise your head. I haven't really done anything yet. You can thank me when it's actually done... But this isn't all I'm here to say. After her change, it will be important to watch for side effects. We haven't encountered any in our own experiments, but I do not want anything at all to go wrong when it comes to my wife. You'll need to watch for any changes both physical, and mental. I'll also talk to the servants later, and explain the same thing to them. Though I doubt anything will happen, I assume you share my concerns."

"Of course."

... ...

Neia was taken to a room on the fancy floor of Nazarick.

When they stepped inside, she saw Lady Pestonya and that vaguely frog-like monster. In the centre, there was a bed, and next to it was a chair. There was also a mirror and a folding screen.

"Demiurge, is everything ready?"

"Yes, Lord Ainz!"

"Good work... But I'll need you two to turn around now."

Once they did, he looked at her.

"Neia, it's best you strip for this next part."

With a blush, she nodded and started slowly undoing all the various buttons on her dress.

...

Everything was bright.

So bright that she didn't see anything at all.

So bright that she didn't hear anything, either.

So bright that she could feel the brightness with her body.

Regardless, it was beautiful.

The brightness was beautiful.

She felt good...

And then, it stopped.

"... Neia? Are you awake? Is everything okay?"

She was laying on her back on a comfortable bed, and above her stood her husband.

She then sat up, covering her chest with the blanket. When she did so, she saw that Lady Pestonya was also standing close by, and the toad-like man was facing a wall further away.

As she tried to move around, she found that she felt… stronger? More agile? She couldn't quite tell if she felt like that because the transformation made her body superior, or if it's just the strength returning to her body after waking up.

"Y-yes, I think everything's fine, darling..."

"Ah, good... Just to be sure, Pestonya?"

"[Heal], woof."

"Did you feel anything change? That was a healing spell."

"N-no, I don't think so."

"Ah, that's a good sign... your wings, can you move them?"

She completely failed to realise they were there until just now.

Surprised by their existence, she moved them a bit, and then brought them in front of her. They were made up of pure white feathers, and were very large.

"Yes... I think I can move them just fine. There's no pain or discomfort."

"Good, good... but we'll have to check if anything else has changed. Come on, I'll help inspect your body. Pestonya, go turn around like Demiurge."

"Ah, inspect..."

She blushed.

"... Neia? Why are you flapping your wings like that?"

"Oh? I am?"

Suddenly, the toad-like man spoke.

"Lord Ainz, that is an involuntary reaction which indicates happiness or excitement."

This being spelled out in front of everyone made her blush deepen, and she forced her wings to stop.

"Uhm, thank you, Demiurge..."

...

After a few minutes of her husband touching and looking over every part of her body, it seemed he was finally satisfied.

"Hmm... everything looks good."

He then reached into nothing, and pulled out the clothes she was just wearing, as well as some she didn't recognize.

"Some of your wardrobe will have to change to accommodate your wings. I have already prepared some clothes with large holes in the back, but it seems you will have to combine those with cloaks and other loose clothing in the colder months. Here, try to get dressed."

After a little bit of trouble, she finally put on the dress which had a large hole in the back, through which she could fit her new limbs. She needed to step into it from above, then button up the front, and then finally tie a knot on her upper back, above the wings. It was enchanted, and so it fit her perfectly, though it wasn't as fancy as the other dresses given to her by Ainz.

"... So? Is it comfortable?"

"Yes, darling. Thank you!"

"No need. I'll give you the few we have here, and then you can provide a tailor with a sample to make as many as you need. If you want, you can rely on those in Nazarick. We can also convert your old clothes to fit."

"That would be great, but only if it isn't troublesome..."

"Not at all. Tailoring services are not something we have an urgent need for here. Either way, perhaps we should go discuss more things privately in your mansion now?"

"Uhm, could I thank those responsible first? This could only be done thanks to Lord Demiurge and Lady Pestonya, right?"

"... Of course. Though Pestonya was just here to make sure you'll be alright, it would be nice to thank them, assuming that's what you want."

And so, they moved from behind the folding screen, walking over to the pair waiting on the other side of the medium-sized room.

"Lord Demiurge, Lady Pestonya, I want to thank you."

"No need at all, woof."

"Of course..."

...

Once they arrived to her bedroom, Neia immediately hugged him.

"Darling... Thank you so much for this gift... I am so happy I can spend eternity with you..."

"So am I."

"But uhm... do you like them? The wings, I mean..."

He chuckled.

"Don't worry. Your whole body is beautiful, and so are the wings."

"Ah, that's a relief..."

"But now it's time to talk to your servants, right?"

\\\

As he was returning to his normal form, Demiurge adjusted his glasses with a chuckle.

He could not help but admire his master's incredible acting.

If he did not know any better, he might be tricked into thinking he actually cared for that woman.

And the fact that she will be kept around forever... Yes, she will do great work in spreading word of Lord Ainz's boundless glory.

While he simply stood there, Pestonya started cleaning up.

\\\

As Neia and Ainz stepped out of her bedroom, they saw the maid assigned to her sitting on a chair at the other end of the hallway.

It took the maid some time before she processed what she was seeing, at which point she immediately knelt.

When they reached her, Ainz was the first to speak.

"Rise, please."

"Y-yes!"

After the maid did, Neia spoke next.

"Hello, Velka. I assume you have some questions about my new appearance?"

"Uhm... very much so..."

She chuckled.

"Sorry, but it's better if everything is explained to at least a few people at a time. Could you have everyone gather in the dining hall?"

"Right away, Your Holiness."

...

Neia and Ainz were currently waiting in the dining hall, which had the largest open space in her whole mansion.

They used the little time they had before anyone else arrived to kiss and cuddle for just a bit.

And then, she could hear the door to the room open, meaning their time alone was over. And so, they both slowly pulled away from a kiss.

She could hear gasps immediately afterward. When she turned around, she saw her parents, several paladins, and most of the maids standing in the doorway.

She greeted them with a wave, and beckoned them over.

When everyone was close, the maids and paladins were just about to kneel, and Ainz had to stop them from doing so with a gesture.

Her father was then the first to speak out of the group.

"Neia? Are you feeling alright? Did everything go well?"

"Yes, dad! I feel great."

As Pabel nodded with a smile of relief, the maids went closer to her.

"Y-Your Holiness, what exactly happened?"

"Darling had me turned into an angel. This means I won't age anymore. I'll be able to live with him forever now!"

Her statement earned a few more gasps from everyone except her parents, because they already knew.

After they took some time to process this, another maid spoke.

"Your wings... they're beautiful."

Neia chuckled.

"Y-Your Holiness... may we touch them?"

This earned the maid who asked the question an angry glare from Emma.

"W-well... uhm... I suppose?"

She turned around, and spread her wings out to the fullest extent.

"Just be gentle."

As the maids touched them, Neia realised they were actually quite sensitive.

"Ah, t-that's enough for now..."

Just then, the door opened again.

This second group was mostly paladins and some cooks. All of them once again gasped when they saw her, freezing in the doorway.

Ainz was standing further back in the room, watching everyone gather around Neia.

He'd just explained to them that they needed to watch out for any side effects, and it seems it was now time for a little celebration.

The maids touched her wings, her parents smiled happily, and the paladins talked amongst each other with respect and admiration in their eyes.

Yes, it seems Neia had quite a few friends now.

'... Friends, huh?'

This made him remember a similar scene, back when everyone gathered around Touch Me after he became World Champion for the first time.

While he felt very nostalgic, he also found that the suffocating loneliness which would normally set in as he remembered such things was now nowhere to be found within his heart.

As he was about to wonder why, Neia walked up to him.

"Sorry to leave you standing here, darling..."

"Oh? Don't worry about that. But I do have to ask, will you want to spend the rest of the day together?"

"Ah, of course!"

"I see. Then I'll just wait here while you continue talking to everyone."

"A-are you sure that's right?"

"Yes, I don't mind at all."

... ...

After the pair returned to Neia's bedroom to spend the rest of the day there, it didn't take long for things to escalate.

Currently, a barely clothed Neia was laying on top of Ainz, kissing him all over his face. At the same time, he was touching her body and enjoying its curves.

While her wings flapping about due to excitement was new to him, he was already finding it almost as cute as her blushing.

Suddenly, she stopped her torrent of kisses to look down at him with a warm smile.

"Darling... Well, this might be a weird time, but I'm just a bit overwhelmed... my life feels so perfect now... I have everything I dreamed of not long ago… My parents, your love, your touch... I can barely believe it's all real..."

He smiled internally.

"Well, it is. As far as I can tell..."

She chuckled.

"I love you, darling... I love you so much..."

She quickly thrust her face back into kissing range.

He responded by moving his hand over to her butt and squeezing it.

This made her moan. A sound he missed, even if it was less than a day since he last heard it.

Wanting her to make the sound again, he went to remove her panties next, only to be interrupted by her voice.

"Uhm, darling?"

"Neia?"

"Could you… touch my wings? I uhm… earlier, I found out they were quite… sensitive…"

"Oh? Alright then…"

He slowly reached up, and when his hand reached its destination, he started stroking one of the beautiful feathered limbs.

This forced a very quiet moan out of her, making him chuckle.

"Well, you're quite naughty for an angel…"
