Fire, hot, uncontrollable, majestic, fireball was the favourite of a lot of people, something about having the ability to throw around a force of nature seemed to excite people… and I was no different. I had moved further away from the Zombies, it seemed two at a time was the max spawning rate and more wouldn't spawn until at least one of them was killed at the very least. I don't know if this would be patched or if the spawn rate would increase but for now I could enjoy my reprieve and my stat gain.

It took how much running to get a stat point, I should not have been so hasty with that [Stat Crystal] even with the [Carnal Limiting Gear]. I still don't know if I could level it up just by activating it or if I would have to actually seal my stats. "[Carnal Limiting Gear]", light motes surrounded me and started congregating around my arms and legs. Gauntlets and Greaves made from a bright, deep blue Azure with green gems where the gem of the [Boosted Gear] was on both gauntlets. Let's take a look at the skill again.

Just having the skill active was enough to give it a bit of experience, now fire; in most gamer fics all they had to do was use their imagination. Hopefully I had something similar. Holding out my right hand started channelling small amounts of mana into my hand "[Mana Manipulation]", I did not mean to say that - but I can only assume that [Mana Manipulation] as well as its level will be important in creating skills – heat, how do I do that, fire, its fuelled by oxygen, in order for the fuel to start burning I need to make it combust, heat, focusing on heating my mana was something I didn't think was possible, but as I started feeling a small amount of heat generating on my hand I couldn't help but smile.

That made sense, now fuel. I would of course be using the oxygen in the air, but what about the spark, before the fire could actually start reacting with the oxygen I needed to heat it to combustion level, so my mana would take place as the fuel, since I could heat it without oxygen, channelling more mana into the magic in my hand, I felt it heat up more, until. The magic that was previously invisible on my hand started producing small sparks.

One zombie late, I'm looking at my options, if the zombies kept spawning two by two, it would be fine with my [Duel Casting], but if the spawn rate went up by any amount I could start having trouble. Though as I could still outrun them so I wasn't really worried. "Eeeerrrr" it was a creaking squeaky sound like someone trying to open up an old rusted door. No more running I guess, since I could see the ground just a bit ahead of me splitting open a mangled arm starting to poke out, let's try something.

Zombie 1 HP: 25042
Zombie 2 HP: 25042
I had the basics of fighting crammed into my head because of the skill that gave me some unarmed fighting knowledge, this could work, or I would get hurt which would give my [Pain Tolerance] some levels at least. Win-win either way. Sort off. Running towards the zombies, I struck out with one at the first Zombie before spinning to the other to take it out, I overestimated my self was my thoughts as I slipped down, that was fine as I felt the impact of my back on the ground, I fired a single [Fireball] at the zombie.

That was a lot of XP, also I did not expect things to go like that why I am getting so much zombie flesh. Also, "RHHRJUJR". That is a weird noise, and that zombie spawned faster then I anticipated, as I turned to the noise, I saw three zombies approaching, can I upgrade [Duel Casting] or.
Upgrade quest's available when you max out a skill.
Good to know, anyway. With 6 [Duel Casting], [Fireball]'s, I was down an unnecessary amount of mana and did too much damage, but fine I theoretically have some to waste

That left me at 10 stat points at the moment. With my lowered mana, even with my increased skills and with how much I regenerated, I wasn't sure I'd have enough mana to keep throwing fireballs around like I was before. Was this supposed to be a sign, because I so it was working. Well let's see how this goes without listening to the signs, I'm a kiter and a long distance fighter at heart, so.

Cost - (CostX2) - 4% (36)
Well the normal zombies were now one hit kills "rrrgg" there it was, I wasn't expecting a long reprieve, but this was ridicules . It was a cone head, why were these created. I don't need to observe but at the very least, locking at the top of its head.
HP: 375 (375)
That's annoying, you know even power strike would take three hits to end this. Unless, 10 points to STR. Let's just spend it all in one place, though that might not be what the signs were pointing to, it's what I was doing. As I ran to the zombie, because I had that skill too. "[Power Strike]". Sometimes saying the name of the attack out loud sounded much better for some reason.

Sorry [The System] had a little glitch, this doesn't normally happen and I didn't notice. Sorry
{AN – I don't know how I didn't notice, but it's now canonical that [The System] isn't perfect, so writing opportunities}
Of course [The System] would have problems like that. I continued examine the notifications until I heard it "GRHEHRHR", along with a dinging sound, like something hitting metal over and over again. Then I saw it, another variant, it was like the other zombies but it was close to the cone head in that there was something on its head, but instead of being a traffic cone, it was a bucket. Now I get it. I see why the first quest as called what it was. [Observe].

I was confident I would finish levelling in the next dungeon. Well this is a conundrum; I can already guess that these two can summon those thralls as well. The distance between the two bosses was at least a good distance, though at their size covering said difference wouldn't take long, I'd just have to be careful and stay hidden, dealing with the Thralls of one of them while having the other come after me would be a headache. The streets would be to my advantage here. The first Sub-Boss looked like it was only a few buildings away, running down the street, I came face to… foot, with the sub-boss, I had little doubt that it would have a large amount of resistance to physical attacks, so I would stick to magic for now [Duel Casting], [Fireball].

As the Sub-boss was hit with the [Fireball],it started moving away. I was beginning to wonder where the black mists were. What the hell, are we mixing it up a little, in second my questions disappeared? Black mist started leaking out around the sub-boss. It wasn't long until it was completely enveloped in it, out of it stepped an identical zombie with a slight difference.
Sub-Boss 2: 1275
Did they summon each other when taking damage then. So was I not gonna be facing any thralls or was there something else to deal with later, I could only make guesses for now. [Duel Casting], [Fireball].
MP: 15201479
Sub-Boss 2: 1275651
I could see the other boss in the distance but nothing was happening, watching the one in front of me turn to mist, it joined the other boss a ways away from me. As the black mist should've started to fade, it instead started to descend closer to the ground, so I first had to damage both bosses before I'd see the thralls, this game is confusing. Were those bucket heads. Out of the mist stepped two zombies. Each of them wearing buckets on their heads. They look just as stupid as you would think they'd look. They wouldn't even take that long, there was something I was missing here.
MP: 14901408
Zombie 1 and 2: 475-146
2 Zombies defeated – 2 Zombie flesh, 250 XP, 156 Credits
I'll be honest, that was most likely a complete waste of mana, I could've used [Unarmed Combat], [Power Strike] even, but as the two sub bosses came in, I kind of ignored that decision making, there was still two of them and both of them were just a few meters in front of me, which was barely a step for them. I either needed to put some distance between us fast or I needed to start dealing more damage. Neither of them would go out with a single attack of mine. So. I had a straight shot behind me. [Running]. The zombies were several metes tall. Meaning I needed to put more than that between us. I ran as far as I could within 2 minutes. Over a Kilometre at least. Far enough for now.
SP: 13051255
The zombies were moving in my direction and were covering several meters in in seconds but they wouldn't be fast enough. With 2 [Duel Casting], [Fireball]. One for each zombie.
