Edward felt a brief sense of déjà vu at Envy's words and expected the Sin to pull out his crossbow like last time and fire from a distance. How wrong he was when massive javelins appeared in his multiple hands. Each javelin was as tall as an average person while being as thick as an arm, they barely fit in the Sin's hands. The young man expected Envy's face to morph into a strained expression as he would no doubt struggle to use them but surprisingly, he twirled them around effortlessly.

Edward leaned to the side just in time as one of the javelins were hurled at him and the ground close to him shook from the weight of the javelin. The young man's face had taken a concerned look, judging from the ground shaking from the impact, the javelin must've weighed a great deal but Envy was just twirling them like they weighed nothing. He remembered last time the Sin made that abominable weapon that was the size of a building and could wield it without difficulty. Such a fact would say that Envy was quite strong yet he lost in a game of strength between himself and Wrath who knew for a fact, he couldn't lift something as heavy as a weapon as tall as a building. Thinking they just looked heavy, Edward grasped the javelin and gave it a tug while enhancing his muscles only to find he couldn't make it budge.

"Ah ah ah. Those are mine, you're not taking them and using them against me like last time…"

The young man dove to the side as more javelins started being thrown at him with surprising speed. Thanks to his senses he was able to see them coming and be well out of the way before they got close. However, the guards who showed up, didn't have that advantage and some of them ended up impaled by the titanic arrows.

Ducking under a javelin and staying in a crouched position, Edward called out to the guards. "Get out of here! See to the civilians who went back into the castle, I'll handle this!"

A javelin sailed under him as he barely dove over it then started closing the distance between himself and Envy. The Jealous Sin kept throwing javelins not at all worried about the guards who looked unsure about leaving the young man to face this monster alone, his only focus remained on his target who kept dodging as he got closer and closer. Envy made a javelin in his right middle hand and put his whole body into throwing it, only to miss and allowing Edward to get within arm's reach.

Edward cocked his fist back ready to knock Envy's head off when something latched on to his arm. Zipping his head to it, he saw two hands grasping his forearm and elbow. He traced the hands and saw that they belonged to the upper and lower arm on Envy's right side, cursing himself for forgetting he had to watch out for six arms instead of two, he was about to try and rip his arm out of their grip when something heavy hit his stomach. The impact was great enough to knock the air out of his lungs and cause him to go limp for a second.

During that second, Envy readjusted his grip so he could comfortably have his target's head, bicep and forearm in his right hands' grip. On his left hands were thick heavy iron gauntlets that were cocked back ready to hit their target again. The Sin sent them forward but was stopped halfway by Edward's feet coming up and catching them at the elbow.

Envy frowned before dissolving the gauntlets and grabbing onto his target's legs with his arms before raising him up and slamming him into the ground. Spider cracks formed on the ground around the body imprint that Edward's body made as he was brought back up before being slammed back down into it again. His head spun more and more with each impact, his sense of self preservation screamed at him to get out of Envy's grip. He tried to muster a cognitive thought process to do so but each slam made it much harder.

The Jealous Sin raised his victim once again and was about to bring him back down again when a cascade of gunshots sounded off behind him. The bullets showered his lower body and made him roar in rage as he turned around to see the guards from earlier all in a firing line, with a new batch of them standing behind the kneeling ones that had already fired. Envy may have been consumed by rage and his mind wasn't as sane as it once was but he could figure out why they didn't fire at his head. The humans didn't want to risk shooting his quarry so they focused fire on his lower portion in an attempt to get him to let go.

Before he had a chance to laugh, Edward jerked his body harshly to the side opposite of his amputated arm. With Envy not bothering to secure the young man's left side due to his missing limb, he was able to generate enough force to drop his body to the ground very suddenly and bringing Envy down with him. This time, his shoulder hit the ground as he used it to roll and wrench his body out of the Jealous Sin's grip before rolling to his feet and delivering a quick roundhouse kick to Envy's jaw.

The blow made the Jealous Sin's head snap to the side as some of his teeth fell out as well but he managed to catch himself using three of his arms to stop him from hitting the ground. Whirling around, Envy was caught with another kick to the face as Edward backflipped away and gave the guards from earlier a clear line of fire. More bullets rained down on Envy who instinctively used his arms to cover himself. The first spray of bullets hit his flesh in the arms while the second was blocked by a shield he made for himself.

After the second round of bullets, Envy dissolved the shield and each of his hands had a pepperbox ready to end the guards' interference but Edward had already closed the distance between them and leapt with feet first and kicked his target in the chest. The Jealous Sin doubled back at the impact and held his chest with one of his arms before looking up to see his target right there with a punch already sailing at his head.

This punch, unlike the last one, had quite a bit more power behind it so when it caught Envy's cheek, Edward felt some bones break under his fingers, a welcomed event but not the one he hoped for. He was trying to knock Envy's head off but he guessed that the usual strength he had with his human arm wasn't enough to knock off the Sin's head. That being said, the punch did lay out his target who couldn't catch himself with his hands this time and hit the ground hard.

Wasting no time, Edward got on Envy's back and grabbed his head and began to smash it in the ground. He hoped that he could give his enemy a temporary concussion which would buy him more time to remove his stone. The Jealous Sin's arms started to spasm with each impact before blinding reaching for Edward. The young man leaned out of the way of a few grabs before the sounds of boots came up behind him.

The guards from earlier each grabbed an arm and held it down, giving Edward more space to continue his task. The young man flashed them a grateful look before going back to smashing Envy's head into the ground. Each slam made the ground under Envy's head get more and more deeper as well as bloodier but Edward continued until he noticed the arms go limp. Releasing his enemy's head, he held out a hand to one of the guards and asked for a knife.

Despite being somewhat distrurbed over their usually kind instructor brutally crushing someone's head and asking for a knife to possibly mutilate him more, the guard gave him a knife, trusting he had a good reason for it. Edward raised the knife about to slam it down and cut Envy's stone out when he heard the sound of something hissing. Following the sound, he noticed that in each hand that was facing toward the ground was a burning fuse going into the palm of each hand.

"GRENADE!"

At the shout of their instructor, the guards took their focus off the smeared mess of Envy's head and to each of their respective arms where they could now see a grenade in each. The guards could barely jump away before all six went off, creating a cloud of smoke and body parts. Edward was the only one who had a second to react and tried to grab at least one of them and throw him away but his second deciding who he should grab out of the six made him watch all six die.

The young man's body was tossed like a rag doll by the force of the blast and his head hit the ground pretty hard making his mind go blank. The remaining guards immediately rushed over to him to give him a look over and grimaced at what they saw. His body was shredded by shrapnel and badly burned with his wounds being halfway cauterized but still bleeding profusely. They were surprised to find him still breathing but thought that he wouldn't be alive for too much longer.

Nevertheless, two of them carefully gathered him in their arms and were about to move him to the inside of the castle to get medical attention when someone spoke.

"Where do you think you're going?"

The guards turned with wide eyes to see Envy walk out the smoke with his arms as well as his halfway crushed head regenerating themselves. Every one of them except the two carrying Edward all readied their rifles to fire upon the monster but were too slow. The demon straight out of hell had already reformed his arms and had made a weapon in each.

Six cannons were primed ready to fire as he took aim with a crazed fanged grin.

Elsa watched as the titan known as Gluttony was crushed under the clocktower that had stood proud over Arendelle for decades. She waved a hand and the snow cover she made for her guards disappeared as she watched a large amount of her guards rush into the cloud of picked up dust to arrest the Sin.

The blonde took a beat to look around her home, buildings were demolished and were smoldering. Even from here she could smell the thick scent of blood and gunpowder. She couldn't remember a time in history that Arendelle had ever been in a conflict like this. Her kingdom had been in wars for sure, her grandfather King Runeard had a hand in a great many conflicts. Never did he have a war so close to home, he would pit other countries and kingdoms against one another while blocking off trade routes to starve whatever side he was against at the time.

Elsa had never met her grandfather and was honestly happy she didn't. The very few stories her father would tell of his father were of someone who had a great deal of power and was in the exact same position she was in. Despite all of the things she had heard of him as well as her desire to never emulate his warmongering, a part of her wondered what he would do in this situation. While she knew she was intelligent, she wasn't a military tactician. She wondered if her grandfather was here now, would there be as many casualties as there were right now?

Elsa shook her head trying to dispel those dark thoughts. Almost all the civilians in the village had been evacuated and she was up against two armies as well as someone who had forces that were out of this world. She did the best she could with what she had. She had Stonewell and even Hector come up with plans that both succeeded and turned the tide in this conflict. Even if she wasn't the best military mind, she had people with more experience helping her.

The blonde sighed, she wanted this conflict to be over, the Weselton and Southern Isle troops had put their operations on hold after they were attacked by those copies of Wrath. Even though they were the enemy, she didn't want there to be even more loss of life. General Julius was cooperative and gave them everything when he was questioned while the Duke of Weselton could not stand up to Stonewell's cold stare and shared all he knew as well.

According to them, they had no more plans beyond taking the people hostage and forcing her surrender. Greed was in charge of all their forces and with him currently in custody the leadership went to General Julius who agreed to order a full retreat if he could address his troops. That would have been the end of it, had Greed not brought others like him to Arendelle without telling his allies.

The large beast Gluttony as well as the hidden threat Lust were dealt with thanks to Hector's plan and Marshmallow's surprise intervention. Going over a list in her head, she knew that Greed, Lust, and Gluttony were taken care of. Envy was dead and Wrath was on their side which only left Pride, Sloth, and the monster who made them all Talib. With all that's happened, she couldn't see the point of hiding away those three given the events that happened. She assumed that Pride and Sloth would've done something if they were here while Talib stayed far away.

However, only Gluttony showed up and rather than sending Marshmallow like she wanted to so there would be fewer casualties, Hector advised keeping the snow golem close in case something happened here. In her mind, she assumed that the war of her home was soon coming to a close.

How wrong she was when the sound of gunshots coming from the garden where the evacuees were supposed to escape from.

Elsa turned around in shock as several more gunshots filled the air and her heart leapt in her throat. Without thinking, she bolted in that direction, ignoring her guards' calls as they rushed to catch up to her. Before she could enter the castle to get to the garden, she watched Garret walk out from the front door at a leisurely pace. He stopped right at the main entrance to the castle and folded his hands behind his back.

"Your resistance efforts have been quite enlightening but it's time this farce ended."

A heated remark was about to come out of her mouth at Garret's words but died on the tip of her tongue when she met his eyes. His eyes were completely void of the emotional baggage that Garret had in his eyes whenever she could see past the glint of his glasses. Speaking of glasses, he wasn't wearing his and his eyes were distinctively blood red. It took her a moment before it dawned on her who was in front of her.

Elsa immediately stomped her foot on the ground and a path of ice shot from where she stomped and zoomed toward him before encasing him in a prison of ice. The sudden movement caused her guards to raise their weapons at the prisoner because of the trust they had in their Queen and all the unnatural forces that seemed to be at play.

Talib once again looked down at his prison with mild interest before raising his eyes to her and sighing tiredly of doing the same things twice. His prison shattered under the force of the black dust suddenly exploding from his body, before he could say anything the guards around his target all fired their weapons at once. The bullets were immediately caught by the wall of black dust that rose with a simple thought. The wall then dropped back into the man's shadow but pockets of black dust that cradled the bullets remained suspended in midair. The alchemist closed his eyes as if he were searching for something before it came to mind and he opened his mouth.

"Sulfur, carbon, and potassium nitrate…"

The part of Elsa that was a scholar instantly racked her mind of what he was saying. She knew that he was naming elements, but that's all that came to mind; she didn't have much interest in chemistry if she was honest.

"Now by using two sources of silicon to produce an igniting reaction…"

Elsa's mind once again tried to decipher what this man was saying but her guards seemed to figure it out first and half of them charged while the one next to her tackled her just as the blonde heard a cascade of loud pops. The impact her body made when she hit the ground jarred her body and clouded her mind but she was sure she could smell blood and gunpowder in the air. It took her mind a second to clear as she realized that she was being pinned to the ground by one of her guards who seemed disturbingly still and the wet feeling she felt near her side made her heart drop.

Tapping his side hoping he'd groan and show her he was alive, she was disappointed when she was met with silence and stillness from the guard above her. Biting her lip in regret, Elsa put her hands against the dead man's chest and started to push. He wasn't a very large man but the dead weight didn't help and made her attempt to escape take time. Time that seemed to crawl when she heard footsteps coming towards her.

Straining the muscles in her arms to push harder so she could escape faster, she was able to make enough room for her to slide out from the dead body and wildly throw a blast of ice shards at the alchemist. Again, his defensive shield of black dust came to his aid and blocked the attack, however unlike last time where it simply just fell back into his shadow, the wall froze as black ice. The event halted his advance and Elsa used the time it took her to get to her feet and create another prison of ice, only this one was a large box.

Talib took a moment to look at his new prison before simply pointing at a wall and a torrent of black dust shot out of his shadow and started drilling into it. He expected it to shatter instantly but to his mild surprise, the ice wall held under his current assault. His prison was transparent so he could see the strain on his target's face as she had both her arms outstretched toward him.

A flash from the past caused the alchemist to triple his efforts in an attempt to shatter his opponent's creation.

The result was the ice wall being blown away by the force and some blocks of ice hitting the Ice Elemental causing her to fall backwards. Talib walked through the remains of the wall with a displeased expression on his face as he stood over his quarry. As he looked over his target, he didn't see the face of a blonde female who he barely considered an adult.

He saw the face of a much older and composed man who calmly and without regret put him in a solitary hell for years.

The alchemist wasn't one to act on emotions especially after shaving off parts of himself to make his Seven Sins but seeing that man's face evoked some long forgotten feelings from deep inside him. That troll that was now the elder of his tribe stirred these feelings but this man roused them awake.

Which unfortunately meant for Elsa, that this man who already proved he could overpower her wasn't currently occupied with thoughts on how to capture her…

He was thinking of ways to give her a fraction of the hell that man gave him.

Talib raised a singular finger in a beckoning fashion and Elsa felt sand encasing her body and hauling her up until she was face to face with him. She could see her reflection in his bottomless pits he had that were his red eyes. She could see in his eyes that her face was one of fear which she tried to rein in and show a strong front but that thought died in her hand when she felt her side explode in pain.

The alchemist did not react in the slightest when his target screamed as he stabbed a finger into her abdomen. He was sure to avoid any organs as he didn't want the Ice Elemental to die, nevertheless, he rotated and dug his finger in and out of the open wound to cause more pain. His ears registered her screams but his mind could only see the older man just staring at him calmly. Talib ripped his finger out of his captured prey's body not caring about the bits of flesh he caught as he ripped it out and tightened his fist causing the black dust to tighten.

Elsa felt the grip around her body tighten and put an end to her screaming as her air supply was being choked. All she could do was sit there and writhe in pain and panic as her binds got tighter and tighter. The panic of course made her magic start to leak haphazardly, but Talib didn't seem to notice the ground as well as the air around them grow colder and colder. Recognizing that she was on the verge of passing out, Elsa flexed her hands and placed her palms on the sand surrounding her and released as much magic as she could on short notice.

Blue light started to shine from the black dust surrounding the blonde as she pumped more and more magic into her task while Talib continued to tighten his grip. Under normal circumstances, Elsa would've had a focused expression on her face as she tried to use a steady controlled amount of magic to accomplish her task; however, control was the last thing on her mind as she wanted to be released.

The light grew so much brighter that it forced Talib to shift his attention from causing his target pain and instead to maintaining his grip. The alchemist raised his other hand causing the black dust surrounding his prey to cover its head and started closing his hands, trying to get a stronger grip. However each second that passed the blue light grew even more luminescent as the air got even colder with it even starting to snow. His face took on a more focused expression as he continued to tighten his grip and even started pouring more black dust to cover his target.

For Elsa, her world went dark and all of her being went into releasing as much magic as she could at once. The panic from being completely imprisoned and held at the mercy of the monster in front of her fueled her powers far more than she would dare consciously. The wound that caused her so much pain was forgotten in her mind as she could feel the sand around her start to give that fueled her actions even more. Each crack she felt against her prison she pushed hard against it despite more black dust rushing to cover it.

This struggle between her powers and Talib's own seemed to last forever but as time passed, it was evident that she was winning. First, she could move her arms a bit then came a breath of air that she greedily sucked down. As if it was instinct she started to push with her palms against her prison, panic started to turn into determination as she gained more and more ground. She pushed and pushed until she could fully extend her arms, her prison went from a human covering to a dome around her. She could see the black dust swirling around her trying to get close to her but her magic kept it at bay.

As awareness returned to her, so did the pain in her side but she pushed to the back of her mind as she continued to push. The magic that burst from her hands into the dome around her colored the black dust and gave her surroundings a blue hue as more and more of it turned blue from black. Elsa closed her eyes and managed to dig even deeper into the reserves of power she didn't know she had and pushed even harder against the dome. She could feel that she was one more push away from freeing herself-

"Please, they've done nothing! I'm the one who ran away!"

Elsa's eyes shot open as she looked at the dome and could see an outline of a man's face with tears flowing down his cheeks. He had his hand outstretched toward something and Elsa looked to where he was looking to see an outline of a woman with a child in her arms reaching back at the face. A hand with a sword appeared behind the woman and child then it came down with the intent of harming them. Before it could make contact, all three silhouettes faded back into the dome while a hooded head appeared in front of Elsa.

"Do you want to see them again? I can help you bring them back if you do something for me…"

The hooded figure faded into the dome before thousands of wails and screams started to sound from all around her. Elsa, having heard enough, made that one final push that exploded the dome she was in, flinging her magic in every direction. Snow covered every inch of the courtyard and a gentle snowfall began. The blonde, having exercised so much magic at once, fell to her knees in exhaustion. Her entire body ached and she had to use some effort to keep her eyes open. She reached down toward the wound on her side and noticed that it was actually frozen shut. Elsa was aware she didn't consciously do that but wasn't complaining as the pain was numb from the cold that never bothered her.

Taking a moment to catch her breath, she almost allowed herself to enjoy the quiet peace that came from her surroundings when several loud booms from the garden reminded her what she wanted to do before Talib intercepted her. Elsa knew that with Hector's charge toward Gluttony as well as the limited number that remained and her placing top priority of the civilians' protection in the castle, there would be very little guards around to assist her, so Elsa started to get to her feet and prepared to check what was going on in the garden.

Before she could get going though, a mound of snow behind her exploded as a large geyser of black dust shot out of it. The force of the explosion knocked her off her feet and had her land in another mound of snow that luckily cushioned her fall. Turning over onto her back, Elsa watched as Talib walked out of the geyser with a very angry expression on his face. He was taking labored breaths as he stared at her with what she could consider rage as the geyser behind him died down.

While it certainly didn't seem like it, Elsa for some reason couldn't help but think that Talib was running low on stamina. The geyser from before said otherwise but Elsa could feel it deep down that the alchemist was on his back foot despite the image he presented. She could very well sympathize as she felt drained from all the power she just exerted. The blonde didn't know if she could muster another fountain of power like last time in her current state but she raised her hands in preparation of his next move.

Talib looked down at his prey, finally seeing this little girl and not the old man that had caused him so much pain. One would think that him recognizing that she wasn't the source of his torment for so long would calm him down but it did the opposite. How dare this insignificant speck cause him so much trouble? He expected her to be nothing, her control over her abilities were weak and she had been using them throughout the course of the entire invasion yet the power she exhibited was far more than he accounted for.

His own reserves had been heavily taxed from him augmenting his prototypes when they revealed themselves, reconstituting himself after the clocktower, and facing off against Wrath and that troll where the Furious Sin created an unknown reaction that had an unknown effect on his very being. All of that plus his confrontation with the Ice Elemental where she managed to beat back his power depleted his reserves.

However, judging from her expression and what he knew about Elementals, she must be at her limit. He didn't know how she managed to hold on for this long especially with the state she was in and that she was going against him, but this was over.

Talib raised his right hand and black dust gathered in it then took the form of a large scythe. He took a step toward her which caused her to launch a bolt of ice his way which made him swipe it away with the shaft of his weapon. Ice instantly covered the shaft and started to climb its way up the weapon making the alchemist let the affected portion of his weapon fall to the ground and simply reform his weapon. After doing so, he whipped it upside down so the blade was closest to him and smacked Elsa on the cheek with the shaft causing her to fall back onto the ground.

The alchemist still wanted to take her alive despite the more base part of him wanting her to die. Capturing her was the entire point of this invasion and if he did so then everything he had worked for all of these years would be so much closer to completion. Having her would more than make up for him losing Gluttony, Greed, Lust, Sloth, and perhaps Wrath and Envy if the Jealous Sin couldn't complete his task. All the Sins weren't integral to the plan, they were a helpful side project he could live without, the time it took to cultivate them barely made them worth the effort, save Pride who was safely tucked away.

Putting aside all those thoughts for later, Talib was about to bend down and pick up his barely conscious prize when a roar that rattled his bones filled the air. The ground shook as heavy footsteps approached him much faster than he would've thought reasonable as he looked up to see an angry snow golem backhand him. His body flopped against the snow mounds before halting several meters away.

"GET AWAY FROM MOMMA!"

Talib rolled to his knees in time for a heavy uppercut to catch his whole body and sent him spiraling into the courtyard wall. The impact jarred his head and had him bent over trying to let his vision focus. The snow golem turned to pick up the Ice Elemental, cradling her in his large arms as he moved to go into the castle but the alchemist wouldn't allow that.

Rising to his feet, Talib raised his weapon then began gathering black dust at the blade before swinging it in an arc toward the snow golem. As he swung a thin arc of black dust followed his blade and launched itself as a wave toward his target. The arc impacted the golem's back causing it to roar in pain. Turning back to look at the slow approaching alchemist who held his weapon horizontally, gathering black dust to prepare another swing, Marshmallow roared in rage and ice started to protrude all over his body.

Using his free hand that wasn't cradling the blonde, the snow golem went to crush his opponent who swung his scythe at the right time and parried the heavy blow knocking the snow creature off balance. Talib, taking advantage of the golem's loss of balance, swung another augmented swing and caught his opponent in the chest causing him to tip over and fall on his back. The alchemist bent his knees and jumped high enough to overcast his opponent before raising his weapon once again and this time gathered a much greater concentration of black dust in his blade.

With his lack of reserves, it taxed him to create his weapon and use his abilities to augment his swings but he had no choice. While he never encountered living ice sculptures before, he did know the general rules of animating objects. While they would be able to register sensations they had no sense of pain. The inanimate objects that comprised them had no nerve endings to register pain, only the vestiges of whoever created them gave them appropriate responses to how they should react to certain stimuli.

Such a fact might make them seem invincible but from a physical standpoint but for someone who didn't have physical weapons as his only means, made the snowman quite manageable.

Talib didn't know how much magic the Ice Elemental had put into giving this golem life but he was about to crush it all the same with the souls of the dead he used as his weapon. The alchemist swung his scythe with every intention of piercing the snow golem's chest and then flooding him with black dust to destroy him but missed Elsa putting her hands up and blasting his scythe's blade. The attack froze the entire blade as it embedded itself into Marshmallow who, due to the ice, was completely unbothered by the attack.

The brief surprise on Talib's face as his attack was halted gave the snow golem time to grab the alchemist in his grip before getting to his feet. He brought Talib face to face to glare at him before roaring.

"DON'T COME BACK!"

Marshmallow then cocked his arm back and with an amount of force that Elsa would usually never allow him to use, he tossed the alchemist over the courtyard wall and well out of sight. The blonde watched the alchemist fly over the wall and knew that he would be heading into the fjord going off his trajectory. With winter returning due to her outburst of power, she was sure that it would be quite grievous if a regular person found themselves thrown into the fjord but didn't know how effective it would be against someone like him. She did however know that for now, he was out of the picture. When that thought went through her head, she felt her body finally succumbed to exhaustion and she passed out in the large snow man's arms.

Marshmallow looked down at his unconscious mother with worry as he racked his brain on what he should do. His mother had told him of all the people he should trust and never hurt, primarily Anna and Kristoff but that also included some castle staff members. The snow golem wasn't incredibly intelligent but he knew that most of the people who protected his mother were outside the castle walls and that the castle staff was likely still inside. He wished his big brother Olaf was here to go inside to get help but with just him here, he decided to walk the castle perimeter and hopefully run into someone his mother trusted.

On the reflective surface in Wrath's soul, a hand smashed through the surface then pressed against the other side and pulled itself out from underneath. The copy that had seemingly been erased by Talib but in actuality he had just been sent to a dark corner of Wrath's soul. The alchemist likely thought that a deep dark corner would keep the copy well out of his way but didn't realize the predator's soul was essentially one big dark corner.

The imitation had felt the moment Edward's mind had gone blank and still couldn't feel Wrath's anywhere leaving only him awake right now. He scoffed at how weak the two of them were as he knew their opponent was only Envy who shouldn't have been a problem. With them down and out, it seemed he needed to step in.

His space was now stable so he supposed he could turn his attention to the outside world but there was an ominous feeling that tugged at the space. Usually an ominous feeling was the norm as he could still feel the anger coming from the many weapons under the reflective surface but this one was different in some way. He would've checked it out but a very real warning from his several instincts had him open Wrath's eyes in the real world.

The first thing he noticed was that he was being held upside down staring down the barrel of a very large firearm. His eyes quickly zoomed to the flintlock mechanism and time slowed down when he saw the trigger being pulled and the mechanism started to move forward. His hand that was dragging along the ground snatched the barrel out of his face and aimed it away from his head, the loud gunshot ringing painfully in his sensitive ears. Not taking a moment to wallow in pain, he ripped the gun that turned out to be a blunderbuss out of Envy's grip and without any hesitation grabbed the Sin's manhood before crushing it in his claws.

The result was instantaneous as the grip on his legs vanished as Envy howled in pain. Before he could fall however, the copy used his feet to grab his opponent by his head before bodily throwing him into the ground while using the momentum to stand back up. Envy's head hit the ground hard as he rolled to his knees trying to reconcile his head being concussed and his manhood being crushed. With all the torture he endured, he managed to quickly get over the pain as his head focused on his opponent who looked to be taking a moment to get accustomed to his surroundings.

Envy created a short spear to quickly thrust and split his prey's head in two when the predator simply cracked his head out of the way while grabbing the wrist that held the weapon and tugged on it hard. Unlike when they first met and his opponent pulled off that bandit's arm slow enough that everyone in the room could process it, this time, when he tugged on it, it came free instantly. After ripping the arm off, the predator delivered a savage kick to Envy's jaw knocking him back a few meters before dropping the arm held in his hand.

With Envy temporarily out of the way, the copy looked down at the stump of his left arm and immediately tried to grow an arm back. Upon trying, the ice brand on his arm glowed brightly and he realized it was a useless effort trying to grow an arm back so he switched tactics. Black dust swirled from his shoulder down his arm to make Wrath's arm appear, giving the new appendage a few movements to test it, he was dismayed that there was a slight delay in movement due to the arm not being an actual part of his body, only a projection of black dust.

Not enough to be a concern but enough to irritate the copy more than he already was.

Letting his arm fall to his side, the copy faced Envy who was starting to get back up with a murderous expression on his face. Far from being intimidated, the copy actually smiled in a darker grin that was odd to see on the young man's face.

"I'm ready now…"

Envy roared before creating five sickle swords and charging at his opponent while swinging them. The copy's grin only grew as he charged as well and dived through the myriad of attacks before jumping off his back right foot to roll over a slash and keep his head pointed at his opponent's body. While doing so, his left arm wrapped itself around Envy's abdomen as he passed, then when he landed behind the Sin with his legs bent and his body parallel to the ground, his right arm quickly wrapped around to join his left.

As soon as his hands touched, the copy jerked his upper body up which lifted his opponent off the ground before smashing his head into the ground while maintaining his grip. Envy's brain rattled with the impact that he almost blacked out but quickly focused on healing his brain instead of his arm to remain conscious. He was about to blindly grab for his prey when he was lifted up again before being brought down even harder than the first time. The ground under his body cracked under the impact as Envy felt the back of his skull crack. He barely registered that he was being lifted back up and being brought back down harder and harder until his head was a red smear on the ground.

The copy readjusted his grip so that he was holding his opponent by his calves before spinning around with the headless corpse in his arms to gain momentum then let go, launching it into a courtyard wall and watching it collapse on the body. Knowing that Envy would be out for a few moments, the copy decided to take the time to check back in on Wrath's soul to find the disturbance he had been feeling earlier.

He opened his eyes back in the courtyard and could see that it was still stable. The walls still looked on the verge of collapsing and would definitely need repairs but it wasn't enough to warrant immediate concern. The copy then turned to what should've been the only weapon anchored in the courtyard but instead was mildly surprised to see Rahim standing there staring at him with an emotionless expression on his face.

"Expecting someone else?"

Hey guys not my greatest chapter but there will be more action coming up later. Hope you enjoyed the little action that was here as well as Rahim FINALLY getting out of his prison, I wonder what will happen next :D. Anyway I hope you guys will continue stay tuned because you all should know that Sins don't go down that easy so Envy will definitely be making a reapperance next chapter, plus I'm sure y'all also have questions on who or what the copy is but don't worry that answer will be made clear in the new few chapters. Hope you all enjoy a happy holiday, I will hopefully be updating again soon since I'm on break until the 3rd but I have to drive 12 hours to go see family then 12 hours to get back. Have a nice one!
