Escape from Nadeshiko
I don't own Naruto
Masashi Kishimoto does!
Nadeshiko Village
It has been a week since the attack on the island of Nadeshiko began. As of late, they have yet to have any information on the two S-rank ninjas who started to massacre their people. Tokiwa was able to get Lady Shizuka away from all the fighting with a small force she brought with her. Her primary mission is to keep Lady Shizuka safe at least for her survival of the Nadeshiko kunoichis as a future leader. It had been more than two days since Tokiwa sent out two of her guards to check the situation in the village and see if anyone was still alive. And now she is worrying about the girls she sent out.
The only thing for sure is that Akari-sama has low S-rank ninja status, making her a formidable opponent. She has a greater chance of survival if it comes down to a one-on-one battle. But fighting two S-rank ninjas in the village will surely destroy the towns and villages, if not most of the island. Her chances of survival just dropped to zero, Putting Nadeshiko village in a horrible situation since they don't have another S-rank kunoichi. She brought out her thoughts when she heard someone speak to her.
"Tokiwa-sensei, how long will we stay in the underground bunker?" Shizuka asks, becoming very restless, trapped like an animal, something that most guards were beginning to feel the same.
"To be honest with you, Shizuka-chan, I'm not sure how long we will stay here. But I know that it never hurts to be cautious when strong enemies are outside, ready to kill us all. And I must protect you at all costs, even if it costs me my life. I can't have my pride get in the way. If anything, I'll send out a pair of scouts for reconnaissance. So we could have some information so I can make the proper decision," Tokiwa explained to the young Heiress, whose face looked frightened as if the grim reaper had come for her.
"Hai, Hai, Tokiwa-sensei," the young heiress repeated as she returned to her desk to study, trying to distract herself from the horrible things she had witnessed.
In the meantime, the guards were looking for any survivors or signs of the enemies approaching their location. Everyone's nerves were on edge, as they were either worried about their family or friends. All they could do was wait for any news to arrive. Not long after, they heard a battle in the distance, making the ground shake from the explosions. They could hear their commorades yelling and scream as they coordinated their formations, and they fired off jutsu as they got near the bunker, putting Tokiwa and the rest of the kunoichis on alert. The group rushed out to investigate what was all the commotion. Tokiwa went to the nearest subordinate from the entrance of the bunker.
"Report!" Tokiwa yelled. Looking far in the distance, she saw clouds of fire and dust.
"Tokiwa taichou, I sent Rukia to scout out the battle since it is not far from here," Rei said while keeping a lookout in case the enemies came their way.
"You made a good call there, Rei. We need all the information we can to decide whether to stay on the island or leave for Konoha," Tokiwa said, looking at her subordinate with approval.
"Hai, taichou!" Rei said as she returned to her position as a lookout now that the fighting was near them.
Not long after, two squads of kunoichi came rushing through the forest, running at full speed to give an information report. And with them was their missing subordinate, who left earlier leading the way. At the same time, the battle behind them began to move towards their area. Many other questions started to pop into Tokiwa's mind when she began feeling horrible in her gut. Tokiwa's instincts screamed at her to get Shizuka and make her way to the port town. And to get a boat as quickly as possible and sail away to the Land of Fire.
"Taichou, Taichou, we need to get whatever we can and get out of here. We can't win against these two monsters. We will all die, if we stick around to fight back. I'll try to fill you in as much as possible. We have to leave right away." Yui said we had a panicked look on her face.
"What are you talking about, Yui? Because you're not making any sense? Where is Rizu? Why isn't she back with you? Did something happen?" Rei said with an incredulous look.
"We returned to the village to find out if our comrades were still around. The closer we got to the village, the more bodies we found lying around. There was so much blood everywhere I felt sick to my stomach. When we got there, most of the buildings were damaged. When we heard a battle going on, we went to investigate." Yui stopped to catch her breath before she began to speak once again.
"Rizu decided to help, so she rushed into battle as well. I tried to stop her, but she didn't listen to me. I followed her from a distant and hung back in case I needed to report something back. The battle didn't go well, and the missing-nin partner killed her off. I was able to acquire valuable information on both missing-nin. When I decided to retreat to inform you taichou." Yui finished reporting, still looking out of breath.
"I'm glad you made it back alive, Yui. I'm sad to hear that Rizu met her unfortunate end." Tokiwa said there was a moment of silence when she continued speaking. Did you see Rukia on your way here?" Tokiwa asked as she prayed to Kami she didn't lose another one of her teammates.
"Sorry Taichou, no one in the squads so her. When we were on our way here." Yui replied as someone handed her a water sack.
"Rei, Yui, get our things together as fast as possible. I'll get Shizuka, and we will all make our way to the port town. We need to get away from the island as soon as possible," Tokiwa said without hesitation as she headed back to the bunker.
As the kunoichi left to take care of their assigned duties, Tokiwa spoke to the squad leaders to find out if there was any new information. For the five days they were held up in the bunker, Shizuka and the rest of the kunoichi were worried about what was happening with the village.
"I need a report to see my next decision to make," Tokiwa said as she looked at her fellow kunoichi.
"Tokiwa-san, the situation is dire right now. The village was in absolute chaos two days ago, but these monsters made sure to kill anyone and everyone. I saw one battle while the partner hung back and watched. The guy kept yelling something about the kami named Jashin, whom he also worshiped.
From the information we gathered, his main goal is sacrificing his victims. He is a sadistic, masochistic psychopath, and depending on his mood change, he injures the person to kill them slowly or kills them off right away if he gets annoyed with them. He seems to be immortal since we stab him in his head, neck, and heart. At one point, we were able to decapitate him successfully.
But what made it even more terrifying was that he didn't die. He just cursed us, and when his partner reattached his head. He yelled at everyone telling them he would sacrifice them all to Jashin. If possible, by no chance, let him get a hold of your blood. Once he can ingest it, he will turn color into a skeleton-like figure.
Suppose he begins to draw with his blood a symbol on the ground. He can link himself with the victim. He will torture his victims before he is satisfied, putting the victim to death. From the reports, he relished it in intense satisfaction, getting pleasure from their shared pain.
His name is Hidan, and He is an S-rank criminal from Yugakure. He is very skilled in bukijutsu. His primary weapon is a three-bladed scythe. He is a powerful ninja with great agility, even if he doesn't look like it. And he has a very foul mouth to the point it could annoy a person." Miku said as fast as possible while still looking agitated.
"His partner's name is Kakuzu. He is an S-rank missing-nin from Takigakure. He has all five elemental nature types. Five monsters popped out of his back. Each monster has a single elemental nature, and between the five monsters and himself, they tend to do combination attacks to overwhelm their opponents. He seems to steal his opponent's hearts. He also targets the ones with the rarest elemental nature. He is a mercenary and a bounty hunter who never lets his target escape. He wears dark clothes and is very tall. He has long black hair with green pupilless eyes. He wears a black mask with a black cloak with red clouds." Maki said, finishing her report as she waited for new orders.
The only thing we were able to find out. A person paid lots of money to get this island and to make it part of his new territory for one of the hidden villages. They want to eliminate all life on the island and high-ranking officials. They don't want someone with high status to try to come back and claim the small island. It reminds you of Uzushiogakure during the "Second Shinobi War." They have a certain amount of time to take over the island." Yui said, knowing the goal has to be to escape from the island at all costs.
As Tokiwa processed the information given, without a second thought, the survival of Lady Shizuka and the rest of her comrades became the priority. If these two missing ninjas were on an extermination mission, whoever hired them chose the best ones for the job. She had to try to save whatever kunoichis were still alive to see another day. If not for their pride, everything they did might be in vain.
"Miku, Maki, let your squad know we are leaving the island. We are going to be traveling to Konoha. That was Akari-sama last order for me to take Lady Shizuka to safety there. Send out two scouts from each squad and see if you can pass the message to all Nadeshiko kunoichi to retreat. Try to keep them distracted and get whoever else to keep passing the message to get whatever survivors to head to Konoha. If you can get there, tell the guards you are refugees from the Nadeshiko village." Tokiwa gave them their orders as she turned and went to get Shizuka to leave the bunker.
With The Zomibe Brothers
"Kakuzu, when the fuck are you going to help me kill these heathens? I'm getting pretty tired here, and I need a break. If you give me a hand, we can search for more survivors to sell this island to your connection." Hidan told his partner while he tried to make another sacrifice for Jashin.
"I told you, Hidan, if you would just kill everyone immediately, we wouldn't be in this situation, wasting all the energy. But no, you have wasted time making foolish sacrifices to apiece some worthless kami. We would be in a lot better position than we are right now. And since you choose to do it your way, I don't want to hear any complaints from you." Kakuzu commented as he paused before continuing to rebuke Hidan.
"I'm going to use your word, Hidan, as you rarely get a chance to, and I quote,
"sacrifice someone for Jashin-sama. unquote." So, I want to avoid hearing it from you asking for help after all this time. We have a deadline to meet and money to make. At this rate, we still need to reach our goal. And Pain-sama might punish us." Kakuzu said as he turned his back on Hidan and headed back to the village to swipe it for any currency it had in its coffers.
"Kakuzu, blasphemous heathen! It's fine to be that way. I'm just going to take my sweet time then," Hidan said to his partner, trying to get his reaction. He got no response from the man who walked away.
Once Hidan was finished with his sacrifice. He looked around to see which one of these bitches he was going to have fun torturing. Hidan quickly rushed and tossed his scythe, only to get blocked by a [Suiton jutsu]. When he felt someone ready to use a jutsu from behind him, Hidan dodged to the side, avoiding a [Futon jutsu] as he began to spin his scythe like a rope ready to toss at someone. As the battle continued, some messages made it to the battlefield, and they began to pass their orders. Once the Nadeshiko kunoichis succeeded, they left for the location of their Jonin commander. Since this was a direct order from Akari-sama, no one questioned the authenticity of the order. While the odds were against this missing Nin, they discovered he was immortal. So, all they could do was play defense while keeping him in this location.
The elite Jonin's and Jonin got together to make a plan to help them save the rest of their comrades. It was not the perfect plan, but it was a plan nevertheless. It would be a success once they could put their plan in motion. They began to get certain kunoichi with elemental and nature transformations to hold off this monster of a man. Once everyone was in the position to start this operation.
Hidan began to hate this heathen of a women for not letting themselves get sacrificed. Can they see the good their deaths would make and the happiness it would give him? Can they see they are selfish to deny him the pleasure and the pain of their death? Stupid heathen bitches.
"Y-you-you monster, why won't you leave our home? You crazy psychopath, why don't you go to Kirigakure? I'm sure you will find people just as crazy as you to battle to the death." The unknown kunoichi yelled, hoping this monster would stop attacking them.
"You don't have to worry about that first. I have to take care of all you heathen first. Your chakra will last for weeks because I'm going to enjoy killing you all for the sake of Jashin." Hidan said as he finally saw an opening to get fresh blood for his curse technique.
Hidan saw a kunoichi from the corner of his eye. The kunoichi became distracted, taking her eyes off him when he positioned himself towards her. He began to spin his scythe again as he increased its speed. He rushed at the clueless kunoichi as he threw his scythe. Right behind it was the follow-up with the retractable spear.
The kunoichi saw the scythe too late and barely managed to dodge it, but didn't anticipate the spear that went through her arm; the woman screamed as blood flew everywhere; this caught the rest of her comrades off guard when he appeared in the blink of an eye. Hidan ripped the spear out of her arm, hanging by the muscle. Hidan licked the spear with the woman's blood as his jutsu linked his victim to himself, where he processed to make the symbol of Jashin. Hidan began to stab himself in his legs and then his arms; all the while, he was laughing maniacally as the woman cried out in agony. Right before her comrades were about to attempt to stop him, Hidan stabbed himself in the heart, killing the woman right away. heard
The only downside to this was too many kunoichi still attacking him, so Hidan was not able to get the oh-so-sweet ecstasy. He always enjoyed it when he felt their life end.
The kunoichis became enraged that this monster had just killed one of their sisters in arms. They recklessly attacked him with all-out force. He braced himself and waited for the best opportunity to get another victim. The squad surrounded him to counter him while the remaining kunoichi slowly fell back. They headed toward the location of the Nadeshiko Jonin commander.
Fifteen minutes later, they reached the bunker and saw a guard of elite Jonin with the Jonin commander, Lady Shizuka, next to her. Everyone began to form a circle around the commander and waited for her next set of orders. Once everyone quieted down, Tokiwa slowly looked at her subordinates.
"Everyone loyal to Akari-sama, these are her last orders, she told me. She told me we would head to Konoha if the village were destroyed. The Hokage is a reasonable man who would hear out our situation. Once we can talk with the village leader, we can request sanctuary.
"If we cannot regain the island and establish Nadeshiko village once again when we get to Konoha, we can establish the remaining kunoichi and become the Nadeshiko clan. But all the specifics can be discussed later when we are out of danger. I am curious to know how many people will survive the journey there. I wish every single one of you good luck. And I hope to see you all again in Konoha." Tokiwa yelled. "For Nadeshiko!" The rest of the kunoichi's yelled as one.
"Let us get to the port to reach the boats and sail off this island. Also, if you run into others, pass them the message if they choose to come with us. Suppose you decide to fight to the death. That is also fine, but you should go with us and cover us as best as possible.
I could get behind if you choose to be free and find your way. But always remember that we are the most potent female warriors around the elemental nations. That is what I believe; no one could take that away from us. We are Nadeshiko kunoichi's; we have pride but never forget one important thing: to live. So if you will follow me, let's move out and head to the port." Tokiwa said before placing a hand on the shoulder of Shizuka and [shunshin] away.
Nadeshiko Island - Kakurenbo Port Town
It took Tokiwa and the remaining kunoichis to reach Kakurenbo Port town after serval hours. Tokiwa was glad that many kunoichis made it to the port town. She began to give orders to gather enough material and items for the long journey ahead as they tried to escape for Nadeshiko Island. They began to rush everyone to pack everything in the ships. So they would be able to sail off as soon as possible. Suddenly, they got word that the S-rank criminal Hidan was heading towards the port. Lucky for them, he had been alone since they last heard that his partner was going over the village pillaging for currency and other valuables, leaving nothing unturned.
"Report!" Tokiwa yelled out at her subordinates
"We will be able to leave in ten minutes, taichou," Mika said as she tried to give orders to some of her squad members.
"We don't have ten minutes until that monster knocks at our doorstep, and it would be best for us to sail away, using long-distance jutsu to keep him away from us. So you have five minutes to get ready and to depart from here. If we can cut off his head and other parts of his body, then we would have a chance to get off the island with our lives." Tokiwa yelled, getting the attention of her subordinates.
"Tokiwa-sensei, should we board the ship already?" Shizuka asked, carrying any belongings she would be taking with her.
The kunoichis began to hear explosions near where they were;e located. You could also hear the kunoichi yelling to try to kill the monster of a man. After killing several more kunoichi, Hidan could move towards the port tow, where he noticed how they were trying to keep him away from the area. A wicked grin appeared before he pushed forward with reckless abandon. At the same time, he was thanking Jashin-sama for having such a wonderful day.
In the meantime the Nadeshiko kunoichi's were able to put together a plan. This plan usually would kill the person without any trouble. But for this monster that has not died, it will be used as a delay tactic so they can get away. They could set up a pair of dozen kunoichi in a hexagon formation while they had the rest launch long-distance jutsu to distract him. Once everyone was in position, they proceeded with the plan without delay.
Five kunoichis ran forward to fight Hidan with their swords in hand. Two of them swung their swords to intercept Hidan's scythe. They thought they could hold him off between them when the weapons connected. But with his deceptive strength, they were flung away like trash. Seeing this as an opportunity to get someone's blood, Hidan threw his retractable spear through the leg. While he was doing this, the woman screamed from the pain.
When they saw this the kunoichi's wait in the formation moved into action. Two of them hold their special ninja wire while running wind chakra for this situation [shunshin] past Hidan. Hidan was about to swing his scythe once again when he noticed that his legs were severed off. Hidan's body began to fall because he was still holding on to his heavy-looking scythe. He didn't have time to think when his forearm flew off in a blink of an eye.
Hidan growled in frustration that these whores were able to catch him off guard. But before losing his forearm he could retract his spear back and lick the tip of the spear. He grinned to himself knowing he would be sacrificing another soul to Jashin-sama. Hidan was still in the middle of Jashin's circle when his legs were severed off. He ended up turning into a skeleton-looking figure and was able to lick the tip of his spear once again.
Then, all of a sudden, his head was decapitated. But it was too late since he was able to link himself to the kunoichi when they heard a scream and yells. As many of them saw their fellow kunoichi's head come flying off simultaneously, Hidan's head came off when they put their plan into motion. There was blood everywhere, while some of the other kunoichi looked in dismay at what caused their fellow ninja to lose her head as well when they heard that vile man speak somewhere on the battlefield.
"Ahhh! That fucking hurt, you fucking heathens. At least Jashin-sama had some more blood from your bitch of a whore dead over there. Guess losing her head was bad for her health." Hidan began to laugh maniacally.
"Fuck you! You-you monster! You are nothing but an evil being that needs to be killed off." The kunoichi took a deep breath when she told the others her orders.
"You five get what is left of this thing; hide it somewhere on the island while you look for survivors and tell them the message. I will take care of this loudmouth bastard." Once she finished telling her order, they left.
"Okay, then, you monster, let's see if you can live through this little surprise I have for you," the kunoichi said as she began to take items from her bag.
"Look here bitch when I come back and can put myself together, I'm going to come after you and all your whore of comrades and kill you all for the sake of Jashin-sama! Hidan yelled out.
"Well, if that happens, I'll be waiting for my death, then you monster! Now shut the fuck up and swallow this stick then." She grabbed him by the hair, put the stick deep in his mouth, and threw his head in the air.
She made a hand sign and said, "Katsu!" And his head exploded, getting a satisfied grin from the angry kunoichi. The rest vanish to complete their mission before getting off the island. Little did they know that his partner was approaching them when he saw what happened to Hidan. A rare chuckle escaped from his mouth. When he saw how they defeated him, the sadistic rogue S-rank ninja, the autistic kunoichi, stuck a piece of wood with an explosive tag in his mouth.
To see the disgruntled head get flung in the air and explode. It gave Kakuzu satisfaction seeing his partner disappear until he reformed himself. But first, he would let the kunoichi's clear out, but because they could entertain him, he would let them leave with their lives. But whoever was still on the island, he would kill them and take their heart if it was a rare one. Since he still has to complete this mission he decided to check every nuke and cranny on the island to find all valuables. When he turned around and slowly made his way back to the village feeling relax and in peace not having to hear the religuous fanatic of a partner for the rest of the day.
Back at the Port Town
As the sun was setting on the horizon, they saw from a distance how the head exploded in the sky. To help the ship move fast, they use some wind jutsu to help the boat along the way. They would make it to the Land of Fire at all costs. Tokiwa began to think of the best way to get permission from the Hokage. To let their kunoichi set foot on their land without starting a war. They would have to make contact with them once they get there. She was too tired to care when she decided to return to the room she was sharing with Shizuka.
One of the ships sailing to Konoha had five clan leaders who could barely escape from the island and had gathered to discuss their clans' future. Many of their clan members had met gruesome deaths from that monster of a man who injured, mutilated, and killed for pleasure. And since their clan was already small, this was a significant blow to them, possibly affecting their future and their clan's survival. All the clans were smart enough to have a few male heirs hidden from the Nadeshiko's ruling class so they could continue the pure blood for their family lines. So now that they were leaving the island of Nadeshiko, they had to follow the young Heiress to Konoha, getting the proper help to recapture Nadeshiko island once again or go on their separate ways.
"So, Yuriko, now that we have gathered together, what is the order of business?" Kaori commented as she took her seat with the three other clan leaders.
"Kaori, there is no need to have an attitude; we are here to have a serious conversation about the future of our clans. The island has already been lost, so there is no need for us to go seeking point revenge on that matter," Kimiko replied as she took a sip of her tea while glancing at her peer's calm manner.
"Miyuki, you feel the same as my clan since our clans have been almost extinct. We can separate from Nadeshiko to join Konoha and get a clan compound. From what I heard as a little girl, they are very welcoming towards people with kekkei genkai. Konoha has always been calm and peaceful, but they would go to war and defend their lands when oppressed." Yuriko said as she tried to find a sympathizer for her cause.
"Yuriko, I see that your true motives are starting to show. I guess your loyalty to the place that saved your parents and hid your clan was really shallow." Kaori replied with a hint of disapproval in her words.
"Ha, I'm grateful to the previous leader of Nadeshiko and what Akari-sama did for our clan. But this, in a way, is the second time it has happened to my clan in a way. Because once upon a time, my clan was as large as the five great nations, as it was destroyed by a coalition of nations, not by two S-rank ninjas. Don't get the destruction of the two islands confused." Yuriko retorted automatically, shouting down Kaori's argument.
"Ladies, there's no need to get all hostile with one another. I thought the whole reason we came here to have a private meeting was to see what we were going to decide for the future of our clans," Kimiko said as she tried to calm the tension down.
"Kimiko is absolutely right. We are here to have peaceful discussions, and since Yuriko called for the meeting, she should start it off," Miyuki replied, getting nods from three of the four women in the room.
"From what I heard, Akari-sama gave Tokiwa the last order to head to Konoha if the village were invaded or destroyed. I am not against the remaining kunoichis joining Konoha and creating a clan. But for our five clans, there would be special circumstances. By our clans being Kekkei Genkai holders, we would automatically get clan status and receive land for a clan compound. Then we would be free to grow our clans again to an acceptable size, and we could choose our husband without putting up with that ridiculous rule they have." Yuriko explained her thoughts to the rest of her peers.
"I see why you and Miyuki are having this type of conversation since your clans were the largest of the five clans. As for me, I really don't care if you decide to stay loyal or separate from being a Nadeshiko kunoichi. But honestly, why do you want to join Konoha Yuriko?" Shizuku replied because she sensed there was more to it than anyone knew.
"The truth is that there might be a chance that I have clan members living in Konoha already. I heard that the former Heiress of the Uzumaki clan was sent by her father, who happened to be the Uzukage of Uzuishoguakre. That means by my Uzumaki clan laws, I must follow the next person in line with the highest status." Yuriko said, getting surprised looks from the rest of the women in the room.
"Ah, I knew it! So why didn't your clan leave for Konoha all those years ago?" Kaori exclaimed as she pointed an accusing finger at her.
"Geez! How should I know? I was not even born back then. I would have to ask the three elders to get the answers. Oh, wait. I forgot they met their untimely death by the hand of those monsters." Yuriko said sarcastically, grabbed her cup of tea, and took a sip as some of her peers laughed.
"Anyway, who else feels somewhat the same as Yuriko and would like to rebuild your clans again the old-fashioned way?" Shizuku commented, wanting a clear answer to make it easy to choose.
Miyuki and Kimiko raised their hands, acknowledging they felt like Yuriko's clan. Everyone was surprised that Kimiko felt the same as the others since they didn't expect that from her. One clan is from Sunagakure, and the other is from Kumogakure because of their Kekkei Genkai. As for the last clan, they were curious if they were from Kirigakure or Iwagakure since their Kekkei Genkai was unique in creating crystals out of water and earth. And since they never had many members, they were one of the most dangerous clans because they could kill someone in crystal or create many unique items.
"I understand you want better protection on such a small clan that it would be better to join Konoha for them. I can't really blame them since their Kekkei Genkai suddenly appeared only 20 years ago." Yuriko said as she turned to Kimiko, who had an embarrassed smile.
"Geez! What a troublesome clan for being so small. I'm surprised you guys lasted this long. Do you even have the origins of where you guys are from?" Kaori asked, truly curious since, in a way, they were a clan from one of the Elemental Nations.
"How rude! And to answer your question, how would I know I was not even born when my family arrived in Nadeshiko? My parents told me they came from a small village but didn't elaborate." Kimiko retorted as if their small clan had been around for hundreds of years like some of the major clans.
"Anyway, let's get back on topic. Kaori and my clan will stay with the Nadeshiko Heiress as the main pillars of her strength. And I'm sure we will be able to gather more female kunoichi in Konoha. Still, if any of them were to get a Kekkei Genkai, I'm sure the Hokage would force us to let go of that person." Shizuku stated as she sipped her tea and explained one of the possibilities that could happen.
"I think that should be fine, at least, and I even came up with a compromise right now that I had a moment to think about it. We could send a daughter to join the clan, depending on the father. We would have to work on the details of the agreements when it would happen, but at least it would be fair to the little Heiress." Yuriko responded as she got some nods of approval from the rest of the ladies.
"Has anyone ever wondered what would happen if the Heiress didn't want to become the head of the new clan? Then what?" Miyuki questioned as she saw their faces look in disbelief and bewilderment, which had never crossed their minds.
"Now that you mention that, you are right; since she is a little girl, anything could happen if she is influential around male students. We shouldn't force this responsibility onto her since it wouldn't be fair. The strongest kunoichi should be the one to become the clan's leader so it could have a chance to evolve into a stronger kunoichi." Kaori replied as she dreamed of becoming the leader of Nadeshiko.
"I have to agree with Kaori that having a solid leader immediately always helps the morale of our comrades. It would also give us a better foundation for our kunoichis in the future." Shizuku said, adding to what Kaori who smiled at her peer for her support.
"We must wait and see what happens with Shizuka-sama and Tokiwa. I will bet that she will push to gain the power of the rest of the kunoichis. But honestly, she is not strong, and we can trounce her. And that is the fact right there since our clan are Kekkei Genkai holders." Yuriko commented on the current leader guiding them to Konoha as they looked down on her.
"So, what were the total casualties that each clan had received? Has anyone gotten a report yet, or are the girls busy trying to figure things out?" Miyuki asked if she had received the number of casualties as the rest completed their paperwork.
"From the Takagi clan, twenty of our clan members were killed. So, only eight are left alive, not counting myself. We have two Jonin, one Genin, and one female child. The other two clan members are one young man and one little boy." Kimiko announced her current report of her clan members as the rest of her peers wince at the large amount of death from her clan.
"The Kurosaki clan, forty of our clan members were killed. So, my clan had significantly weakened after getting to this point. It will take another twenty to forty years to rebuild the clan again to the amount they had just lost. We still have two Jonins, two Chunins, four Genins, and three female children. We have two young men and a little boys," Shizuku said as she reviewed her clan's reports and sighed at the fact that her clan had taken a big hit.
"The Yuki clan, ten of our clan members were killed. No one else was dead, leaving us with twenty clan members left. We have two Jonins, one Chunin, two Genins, and two female children. We have two young men and two little boys, which made me sigh in relief having so many males to keep the clan alive for the future." Miyuki said she received a good report, making her extremely happy that her clan could survive.
Fortunately for the Miura clan, five of our members were killed, including one of our elders. That leaves us with three Jonins, one Chunin, one Genin, and two children. We only have one young man and a little boy who is good enough for us, so we can't complain," Kaori announces without worry as she reads her report.
"As for the Uzumaki clan, no one died since we were busy with clan matters today. Akari-sama viva fuinjutsu alerted us that we must change our hair color. We have made people think that the Uzumaki clan no longer exists so the other Elemental nations won't hunt us. We have two Jonins, two Chunins, one Genins, and eight little girls. From what I'm reading in my report, we have a perfect chance to meet actual family in Konoha. We might see the last of the royal family and Uzushiogakure with Princess Kushina welcoming us to Konoha." Yuriko said that the report she read on her paper made her feel glad that they had managed not to lose a single person.
"Geez, now that we've gotten this over with, what are the chances that those monsters would follow us back to Konoha?" Kaori commented as her peer's heard her last thought out loud.
"According to the report, they are there to purge the island of unwanted ninjas. They might have ruined our trading pipeline with the other Elemental Nations. Kumo doesn't take kindly for their citizens getting killed for no damn reason, and since that monster went on a killing spree, you could expect the Raikage to take action. Kimiko replied, getting nods of agreement from the rest of the ladies.
"Do you think they might accept our request for Konoha to help get our island back?" Shizuku asked as she received strange looks from two of the four other clan leaders.
"Keep on dreaming; from what I heard from my parents and the elders, they were the Uzumaki clan's allies, and look what happened. They just sat back and watched how our island and people were enslaved, slaughtered, and killed. Our village was being destroyed and ransacked for our treasures, secret ninja art, and fuinjutsu technique. I can't see them risking their necks for other villages if it doesn't benefit them." Yuriko said as she was ranting about the past actions of Konoha.
"Then why in the hell do you still want to go live in that village?" Miyuki asked, looking at her good friend skeptically, not understanding her reasoning.
"Gosh! Haven't I already explained this to all of you? Are you going to make me repeat myself? Geez! Okay, they have already had a Uzumaki clan since the Shodai, when Uzumaki Mito married Senju Hashirama. Then, the Uzukage sent his oldest daughter, Uzumaki Kushina, there. So we would be under their protection under their clan laws. And the real reason is that once a clan joins, they will fight tooth and nail to keep and protect them from other villages. Since most of Konoha's clans have Kekkei Genkai, they are more willing to accept other clans that also have them. Unlike Kumo, who tried to take them by force through wars or kidnapping children and women," Yuriko said, finishing her explanation as a look of realization struck them all.
"So, how long will it take us to reach Konoha then?" Shizuku asked as she looked towards Yuriko, who closed her eyes to estimate the number of days.
"It would depend on the weather, and when we reach land, I can give you a better answer. But for now, it will take around three days to reach Konoha. As soon as we land in port, I'm sure Tokiwa will send envoys to speak with the Hokage to explain our circumstances," Yuriko replied as she sipped her tea.
"When we join Konoha, will we keep the same ranks?" Kimiko commented as everyone there realized that every ninja village's standards differ from those of smaller nations.
"If many of our kunoichis are demoted, it might not end well. I wonder if the Hokage has a solution for this." Shizuku replied as if the chance of that happening to her was great.
"It would be easy to determine that we would get their best Jonins, Chunins, and Genins to gauge them in a battle to see where we would fit in Konoha's military. I'm sure there's a way to get promoted, but we must wait and ask the Hokage." Kaori said, not minding if she lost her rank; it would only be fair since everyone would be going through the same thing.
"Well, it's time to end this little meeting since it's late, and I'm tired after yesterday's events. Later, we could have another meeting before we see the Hokage so we can speak for ourselves. We would have to speak to Tokiwa about our plans to quit being a Nadeshiko kunoichi," Miyuki said as she looked determined about her decision for her clan.
"I have to agree with Miyuki on this one. I'm tired, and I'm ready to go to bed already. Today was a nightmare; hopefully, when I wake up in the morning, all of this will be a bad dream. Kimiko said, hoping to end this meeting so she could head to bed.
"Fine. I'm sure Tokiwa-san will also try to speak to the surviving kunoichis of Nadeshiko and the clans. I'm sure going to want to know who will stick with them and who will separate themselves from them to join Konoha to create a clan there. Kaori commented, feeling betrayed by the older clans around longer than hers.
"Okay, then, well, I call the end of the meeting, ladies. It is going to be an interesting next few days for us. Let's see what happens. Let's hope we don't encounter Kumo or any other hostile village on our way to Konoha," Yuriko said as she was the first to stand up and approach the door.
Only a short time later, the remaining clan leaders followed suit, each with their thoughts. Each of them worried over a different matter makes them conflicted with their decisions. But each of them will get a positive response from their current leader in charge once they have their talks as for the rest of the regular kunoichis who were found and raised in Nadeshiko. They have been entirely confused, not knowing what the future holds for them. And most of them wish to have a place to call home and feel protected.
A/N: Hello, my fellow readers and writers. I hope everyone enjoyed this new chapter. I am trying my hardest to move the story along so I could transition into the Ninja Academy arch I'm aiming to have four long chapters for each of the academy years so we could get to the graduation test and the forming of the teams. Also I want to give thanks to Samuel Santillan, KidneyZero, and NinjaFang1331 for reviewing once again it really does motivate a person when they see positive reviews I appreciated.
