Chapter 3: The fox ambush
During a rainy day tons of male demons and strong and able females were walking with the herd of hell horses and strong burning oxen carrying sacks full of rice to take it to a village, some were struggling to push some of the beasts to keep moving.
Standing and watching was a grey skinned red eyed women with white hair tied in two horned like buns and had a pale to grey complexion and dressed in a black-grey kimono with strong legs tied with gold bands that were actually angelic steal ribbons. Her named was Camalita "The sooner we get this rice home, the sooner we eat lets move!" She ordered as everyone pushed forward on the path. "Coming this way! Foxes!" Yelled one of the men as Camlita and the others quickly turned and saw two large fox like demons with many tails one with three and another with four with one with 6 tails with a masked demon riding on the 6 tailed one."Dont let the oxen panic! Stay calm and take your positions!" Camilia ordered as all the men prepared to aim there guns to shot at them to defend as the three and four tailed one got closer and closer. "Ready aim fire!" She barked as they began to shoot at them as the fox demons ran to the other direction with the female on the nine tailed ones back.
Meanwhile bellow the mountain Striker and Bomb Proof walked down the path covered until they heard the sound of gunshots "What the?" He wondered as he clicked at Bomb proof to go to the gunshots "That was it? They weren't to big and strong" said a Peacock like demon dressed in a icy blue and white Kimono, his name is Andrephelus "There just pups Andre, wait until you see there leader, you know they want you" said Camilia as the peacock demon just smirked and got a bow and made a ice arrow "I am not afraid" he said
Suddenly out of nowhere comes the leader a yellow fox with blue eyes slanted and thin whisker marks and nine strong tails and a red Raymond around its shoulder blades and a mane of spiky blonde hair. This was Naruto Uzumaki the leader of the foxes as he charged towards the men and Oxen "Its Naruto!" Yelled Camila reloading her gun to fire as everyone screamed as Naruto charged passed them forcing some of them to fall off the cliffs to there deaths "Come on now!" Said Camilia as she aimed her gun at Naruto as he tossed more men and Oxen to the side to get close to her and Andre as she fired her gun as it shot at Naruto shoulder as Andre fired his arrow as it shattered sending a blizzard as Naruto was struck as he lept and fell off the cliff.
"Hehe we killed him, I wish it was the forest princess but her father is a good start" sand Andre "Dont forget fool he is a yokai not a demon it will take more than that to stop him" said Camile as he watched the other tailed foxes running away to there leader "He did alot of damage" said Andre studying the damage the foxes caused "We move out now" said Camilia walking pass them "What about the men that were pushed over the cliff" he asked "They are dead leave them, lets get the living home" Camilia ordered leaving those who were killed behind.
The rain was slowing as Striker looked around when he and Bomb proof went to the river as he saw a dead demon and dead Oxen floating pass him as he gasped and hopped off Bomb proof "How terrible as he saw someone a Ogre like demon named Shrek still alive but hurt as he checked and dragged the big guy out of the river "Come on now" he muttered as he saw another one, a ginger headed hellhound named Ron Wheasly (Harry Potter) as he carried him and placed him next to Shrek as Bomb proof perked up and snarled as Striker pulled up his bandana and ran to hide behind a downed tree to see who it was.
It was Naruto as he slowly got up as the other three foxes arrived to check on there leader as the female demon jumped off the six tails to check on her leader as she took off her mask revealing her figure. It was a swan like demon with piercing red-yellow eyes and snow white feathers and a sharp gaze that can pierce a fierce soul as she gasped at the wound on Naruto as she quickly went over to suck the blood out of the wound to heal him. While she did Naruto snarled because he sensed someone was here as she turned and glared at who ever he was growling out as she got up and spat out the blood and wipped it off her mouth. Seeing he was spotted Striker climbs onto the rock and pulls down his bandana "My name is Striker I have traveled far from the lands to the east are you ancient gods? Have I come at last to the realm of the Messiah Jesus Christ?" Asked Striker as the Swan demon didnt answer and just glared as Naruto and the three foxes snarled at him.
She turned back when Naruto began to walk as she hopped onto the six tails back before she glared at Striker "Go away!" She yelled as she leaved as the 2 tails dragged the dead oxen out of the water as he took the dead oxen away. Striker watched them leave "What a mysterious swan" he muttered but was broken out of it when he heard someone scream as he rushed back to see what was going on.
Now fully awake Ron was crawling away in fear while Striker made it back to find out what Ron was screaming at as he turned and saw a small humanoid with clear wings called a fairy as it stood there looking at them "A forest fairy and judging from her cloths she is a tinker type I never though I could see one of them here" said Striker as he kneeled close to Ron who was shivering "Easy now, you dont want to make your injuries worst do you?" He asked as they both looked at the fairy as she tilted her head. "Achh" Ron yelled "Calm down its a fairy, they bring good luck it is a sign this forest is healthy" Striker assured remembering the books he read on the legends of such creatures.
"But they'll lead their lord and master right to us!" Ron spoke confusing Striker "What do you mean? You mean those fox monsters I just saw?" He asked as the hellhound shook his head "No I mean a true monster or a powerful saint that can sense the souls of we demons and can either bless or take there lives away, they say that he looks like a normal human from earth and sometimes at night they say he…" started Ron as he screamed as the Tinker fairy vanished "Where did it go?" He yelled looking around to see more fairies one, a animal fairy on Bomb proofs saddle "AHHH Reinforcments! We're doomed!" He screamed "Easy now, if Bomb Proof isnt afraid they have nothing to worry about here *Walks up to the small one on the saddle* would you be kind enough to grant us passage through your forest little one?" He asked as the other fairies gave a bell tinkling like nod.
Some of the fries all sat on a tree branch while the rest followed the group as Ron shivered being a hellebore and were nervous at the fairy like creatures all following them while he is on bomb proofs back wearing a cloth on his broken arm "Mate I really thing we should turn around now, I wonder did I mention that no demons or sinners have ever made it through these woods alive?! There's a lovely trail back across the river" Ron suggested "The Current is too swift for us to get across and your freinds injuries are very bad, if we dont get him back soon, he dosent have a chance" said Striker while carrying Shrek and following another Fairy a wind fairy "Hay little one, are you showing us the way or just getting us more lost?" He asked panting at how heavy Shrek is "Please mate I am really sure they're not trying to help us get home *Panic face* Co Blimy! There are thousands of them!" He yelled as more of the Fairies flew pass them as they waled around a grand tree as Striker was in awe.
"Look at that, that must be there mother, what a beautiful and fine old tree" he spoke as Bomb Proof followed as not too long they reached an opening spot in the forest as Striker was in awe "Oh what a magical and beautiful place" he said looking at the big trees as he continued walking he stops and sees the tracks of the fox demons on the ground "The tracks of those foxes and the swan girl with them, this place must be where they live" said Striker placing Shrek down "Hay I think we may have took a wrong turn somewhere, this place is for the Messiah and the demons" said Ron "I think we are safe so long as we dont provoke them, we will rest a bit" said Striker as the snake imp walks towarss the water with a tin cup to scoops some water for Shrek as he stops when he saw a few butterflies fluttering around another footprint, however it looks perfectly human like.
"More tracks *Looks in the water and sees more* whatever made these made them recently" he muttered looking around the forest to find out who's tracks are these as he gasped spotting something shadowed in the setting sun as something or someone walked pass the trees as he saw a herd of sheep walk by, and a humanoid figure with what looks like long messy hair dressed in a robe with a almost holy aura, blue eyes bore into his yellow as he cringed in pain from the blight acting crazy on his arm as if they hated the aura on the man as he cluched it trying to keep it in control and lashing out at this person. "Hay mate what's going on are you ok?" Ron asked in worry running up to the imp as Striker quickly put his infected arm into the water as he felt his arm pulsing as the unknown human left as he sighed feeling the pain stopping and panting as his arm was no longer in pain as he got up with his cup of water "Um what happened? You went white as a sheet *puts his un injured arm on his hip* I warned you about this place" he said as Striker kneeled next to Shrek to hold the cup of water near his mouth as he drank the water "Did you see anything just then?" He asked "Iike what?" Asked Ron as Striker shook his head "Never mine just hang on just a little longer, you're almost home" Striker assured as Shrek slowly opened his eyes still tired "I failed her" he whispered before passing out.
Striker looks back on the spot where he saw the unknown human "Its gone who ever they are" he whispered. Soon there break was over as they kept walking as Striker still carried Shrek 'strange he suddenly dosent feel heavy at all' thought Striker as he wondered if it was the unknown humanoid "Hah mate my arm isnt broken *WInces* nope jumped the gun its still broken" he said as Striker chuckled at that as he focused to help the two demons return home.
Authors note: Looks like Striker got a taste of the power of the Messiah and the blight hates that as well as meeting Stella though he dosent know her name yet.
Next chapter Striker managed to get to Pentagram Village where he meets the leader of the village Carmine properly.
