Cyndi Lauper - True Colors

Me and Will were eating together for the first time in the faculty lounge when some short-haired blonde in a red track suit approached us and threw a magazine on our table. "Hey, fella. So unless my recent write-up here in splits magazine naming me cheerleading coach of the decade has me driven completely insane, I'm pretty sure you and I had an agreement that you were going to show me your Glee club set list for Sectionals." She said to Will. "I'm sorry, who are you?" I asked sincerely confused. "Ah, you must be Will's new, what does he call it? Friend. I'm Sue Sylvester, proud head coach of McKinley High's Cheerio Squad." The blonde said. I smiled sickeningly sweet, "Ah, so you're the problem child Figgins told me about. I was just having lunch with my childhood friend, William. So, what makes you interested in our Glee club?" She looked furious but just said, "Well shortcake, apparently I've been promoted to the fine arts administrator or something. Just ask Figgins if you don't believe me. Now, Will, are you gonna get me a Glee club set list or what?" 'So she took my job. I'll just take hers.' I thought as Will said to her in response, "Um…Well, I will make sure you get a copy." Sue smiled victoriously, and said, "That'd be fantastic. I'd hate to have to go to Figgins about this. Hey, Will." I quickly spoke up first asking, "Yes?" Expressionlessly she said, "I'd like my magazine back, please." I handed it to her with my phony smile. "Thank you." She said before leaving. My smile quickly became a frown after she was gone, and I began to eat again; I knew she was plotting something but I had no proof so I couldn't go to Principal Figgins yet.

But I could still destroy her life for taking my job.

"You want to be the co-head coach of the Cheerios? What about our deal of your co-heading the Glee club with Mr. Schuester?" Principal Figgins asked me perplexed. I smiled at him and said, "Why can't I do both? Think of it this way; I can get closer to Sue Sylvester this way and find out exactly what she's planning before it affects the Glee club." He nodded and said, "You have a point. All right Miss Iñiguez, you have my permission to co-head the Cheerios." My smile became more mischievous and I said, "One more thing. I'm can't get the information I need without proper funding; you're gonna have to pay me for this."

"Okay girls, do you know why female cheerleaders wear revealing outfits?" I asked. I was teaching the girls while Sue was busy trying to sabotage Will; I knew she would want revenge on me later. That was the idea. "To look hot?" One of the girls guessed. "Almost. You girls are the distraction. The boys here already know how hot you can be, right? But what about the boys at the other schools? It's like they're suddenly seeing a forbidden fruit while being attacked by a tiger." I said in explanation. "So we're fruit?" Brittany asked me. "Something like that. But you know that they already have fruit back at home Brittany; you girls have to look more appetizing." I said, mischievously continuing with my analogy. "How do we do that?" One of the girls asked me.

I smiled and told them, "I'm going to teach you girls how to belly dance."

Sue stomped over towards me and asked, obviously furious, "What did you do to my Cheerios you miniscule harlot?" Pretending to be confused, I responded, "I just taught them some choreography I learned in Colombia; I thought it might be helpful. I thought it was also my job as the co-coach to teach them; did I do something wrong?" Sue glared at me and said, "You bet your ass you did, and you're gonna pay for it too ya midget." And with that she stomped off angrily...

And I smiled.

Apparently a lot had been going on while I was gone. Will had become obsessed with teaching the kids hairography for a bit, which was probably Sue's fault. Luckily he managed to snap out of it without me. Now the kids were singing 'True Colors' whilst sitting on stools in the auditorium with Tina singing lead. It's amazing, but...

"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you Will, " I said, taking his hand as the students sang.

He just squeezed my hand as the kids sang...
