-USM Dimension, Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum, Present-

Doctor Strange meditated above a glowing circle marked with ancient runes and burning candles. His eyes were closed and his back faced the entrance doors. Though he still spoke seemingly to no one.

"Yes, come in."

The doors to his home opened.

A small mix of Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy students walked into the Sorcerer Supremes' home. Thor walked at the head of the group while Iron Man, Hulk, Falcon, Iron Spider, Luke Cage, Scarlet Spider, and Miles Morales walked in behind him. Strange turned around in the air, his eyes open.

"I'm surprised, I thought the Captain was working on drilling everyone?"

Thor nodded.

"The Captain has been and continuing to do so for many here. Hulk's team, the young heroes, even the Guardians of the Galaxy have been training under his command. Not all of us as you know, Doctor."

Strange nodded.

"I was in contact with Wakanda's high shaman and priest the other day. He has been asking to directly counsel the Royal Family of this upcoming invasion. King T'Challa and Princess Shuri especially are confident in their technology to defend their kingdom though haven't dissuaded him from acting as counsel to any of their warriors and citizens who wish for their Matron deity's blessings."

"Aye. I have never met Bast myself. I do know though she has blessed Wakanda with strength and fortitude, having never been conquered. I feel this time will not be any different for them despite what King T'Challa and Princess Shuri feel."

Iron Spider rolled his eyes.

Doctor Strange chuckled.

"The matter of gods strikes you as fanciful, young Cho."

Iron Spider nearly jumped out of his armor.

"How did you-? Oh, you undoubtedly have spy cameras or some other scanning tech here."

The sorcerer shook his head before turning to Thor.

"How may I assist, Thunderer?"

Thor smiled.

"As we know this Shao Kahn feeds upon souls, we should go about giving every warrior a talisman or blessing or rune work to defend those who are less resilient to such magic."

"In my attempts to fortify the mystical protections of the world, I have asked Bats to do some work in regards to soul magic and protective spells and charms."

Cho's face helmet retracted, his face revealing a smirk.

"What? Do you have some enhanced vampire bat doing research you can't do?"

"Wrong species, pup."

The group turned, some jumped at what they saw. A spectral Basset Hound suddenly appeared before them, tail wagging. Thor chuckled.

"Bats, good to see you."

"You too. You bring me one of those snack you give to your wolves?"

Luke Cage raised an eyebrow at this and turned to Thor.

"You have pet wolves?"

Thor chuckled.

"Asgardian Dire Wolves. Magnificent beasts that make for ideal companions in Asgard. We take them hunting, they protect homes and halls, and they're affection pets."

Hulk scoffed.

"I remember beating three of them no sweat, Goldilocks."

Thor shook his head.

"I still see you're gloating about that battle. As I recall they were also attacking Hawkeye and myself during the Games."

"That doesn't mean-"

Bats barked, returning everyone's attention to him.

"Hey, what about the treat?"

Thor sighed.

"Forgive me, as you are a spirit you would need to returned to flesh for you to have a treat."

Bats grumbled, head lowered.

"Wretched heart attacks."

The ghost dog grumbled as he walked over to Strange.

"These should help with the soul protection. Now can you make a body again?"

Doctor Strange sighed.

"When this crisis has been stopped. For now, what have you found?"

Bats barked, teeth bared before he sighed.

"These books and scrolls should help."

Doctor Strange motioned with his hand and the texts floated to him. He scanned them without speaking. Miles Morales looked to Scarlet Spider.

"Uh, should we interrupt?"

Scarlet Spider's eyes narrowed on the sorcerer.

"Well we did come to talk with him."

Doctor Strange sighed.

"Forgive me, I have been fixated on creating a spell to safeguard the planet from supernatural portal breakage. The problem is that Earth is tied to various realms and locations of mystical origins that this may not be as easy as one thinks even for the Sorcerer Supreme."

Iron Man chuckled.

"C'mon, Strange. Just let Falcon, me, and the kid hook up the planet with some focused radiation or let us in on your 'magical' scientific secrets and we'll have you an energy shield within the day."

Hulk grumbled, 'gently' jabbing his elbow into Iron Man's chest-late. The Armored Avenger grunted as he placed one hand over his chest as the gamma giant spoke.

"Not funny, Tony."

"Really? I need to work on my zingers."

Doctor Strange sighed.

"It's fine, Hulk. I used to think the same as he did. His words aren't without some degree of merit. Magic and science are energies of different kinds. We were able to close a portal the Dark Dimension on Halloween together. That could be replicated to some degree, however it wouldn't be wise to totally break the mystical links to the other realms completely."

Kid Arachnid rubbed the back of his neck.

"Um, why not?"

"For one matter it would destabilize reality even further and would cause pandemonium on Earth and beyond. It would also take a degree of magic so powerful it could possibly kill me and destroy my home and all the knowledge within it. And it would also rob you of Thor's aid."

The Thunderer nodded.

"While I spend much of my time here on Midgard, I am still eternally tied with Asgard. If the essence that connect our realms should be destroyed, it would very well return me to Asgard or possibly rob me of my divinity."

Falcon raised an eyebrow.

"That's only in theory. If the hammer gives some kind of power boost or injects Thor with a kind of serum that-"

Thor frowned at his friend.

"Do you truly want to test this theory that refuses to accept what power is before you?"

"Magic-"

Scarlet Spider webbed his mouth shut. Falcon's eyes widened as he tore at the webbing.

"That's enough of that. Hey, Doc. We came here to get an update and also to let you know of-"

"-a meeting with the Director and the Knights this evening. Thank you for that, Scarlet Spider. With the texts Bats has chosen I will bring a possibility at the very least of protecting everyone's souls from Shao Kahn's magic."

Scarlet nodded and turned around, seeing Iron Man using a minimal amount of energy from a repulsor to remove the webbing on Falcon's mouth. Kid Arachnid looked from Scarlet to the Avengers back to Scarlet.

"You webbed an Avenger, man!"

"We needed to get to the point. Besides, we got training to get back to."

Kid Arachnid sighed. Thor nodded at the spider's words then turned back to the Sorcerer Supreme and Bats.

"We will see the two of you later."

Doctor Strange nodded. Bats barked.

"When I get a new body, bring me one of those treats!"

Thor laughed and nodded.

-S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy, Training Room Hours Later-

Captain America stood on the sidelines with the Avengers (the ones in the States) and Scarlet Spider and Agent Venom as they watched Spider-Woman and Patrioteer spar. The Smashers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Academy graduates, students, and allies stood around the training room or in the control room.

"Watch the blades, Patrioteer! Keep your distance or find a way to immobilize them!"

Spider-Woman grunted as bladed tendrils surged at the new armored young hero. He sped to the side as he fired off repulsor blasts.

"Spider-Woman! Get a sense of where he'll attack! He's from afar! Consider what targets he'll choose!"

Spider-Woman chuckled as she ran forward and slid under the blasts before she lunged forward, her hand morphing into giant claws. Patrioteer chuckled as surged forward and above her, firing off more repulsor blasts. His friend grunted as she rolled away and jumped towards a wall then lunged back at her friend, firing off web blasts.

Iron Man chuckled as he watched his former tech rival's son pull back in the sky and fired a repulsor blast at another shot of webbing before charging.

"Looks like Osborn's son isn't half bad in the armor. Though it's nothing compared to my armor."

Black Widow rolled her eyes.

Agent Venom watched as Spider-Woman leap away from another repulsor blast before lunging with a punch which the Patrioteer blasted away.

"C'mon SW! Your symbiote has instincts in combat! Listen to it! See what the two of you can shape!"

Spider-Woman's eyes widened at his words and was quiet for a moment as the Patrioteer surged above her, repulsors aimed at her.

"Sorry, Spider-Woman, the jock's still got to work on his coaching!"

As he was about to fire the blasts, balls of webbing with spike protruding from them flew at him and struck his armor. Patrioteer gasped as the blades material started to cut into the gauntlets.

"N-No! Get off!"

"Huh, seems like he's not so bad at coaching after all!"

Patrioteer looked down to see Spider-Woman lunging up at him and threw a punch that knocked him off balance. The armored student gasped as he began to fall before his sparring opponent caught him in webbing. Agent Venom punched the air as he laughed.

"Good job! I knew I could cut it at this stuff!"

Spider-Woman chuckled as she shook her head as she dropped to the ground. Scarlet Spider walked over and cut Patrioteer from the webbing, Captain America approaching them.

"You had the advantage in on the fly strategy, Patrioteer. You just got caught up in the moment."

"Yes, sir."

Scarlet Spider sighed.

"I know the punk has gotten you all into the talking while fighting thing. Just remember, sometimes you have to just attack as the talking can distract you and keep you off your guard even for the slightest moment which can give your enemy the opening it needs."

Patrioteer was quiet for a moment before nodding.

"Understood."

Scarlet Spider nodded.

Captain America turned to the students. Then his saw something beyond them that made him turn to his team, to which they nodded. He turned back to the students.

"Take 30 for a food and water break. A few of us have to join Director Fury for a meeting. Once the break is over, Red Hulk will be taking over training from here. Listen what the man has to say."

Red Hulk saluted the Captain which the First Avengers responded in kind. The former general looked to the students.

-Outside The Training Room, A Couple Of Minutes Later-

Captain America shook hands with a few of the Knights from the secret order.

"Thank you for coming, I'm Steve Rogers."

A man and woman stood at the head of a group, dressed in business attire.

"I'm May and this is my husband, Joseph. We have a few more of the high ranking knights of our order along with our son, Tyler, and his young friend Angela."

The knights nodded to the Captain. Angela had a wide smile on her face as she almost jumped in excitement.

"Oh my God you're Captain America! You're Steve Rogers! The First Avenger! This is so cool to meet you!"

Steve smiled as he shook her head.

"A pleasure, young lady."

Tyler saluted the veteran.

"An honor to meet you, sir."

The First Avenger returned the gesture.

"The honor is mine, son. I want to thank you all for coming. The conference room is this way. We just have a few more people to wait to walk with us to it."

They turned to see Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Hulk, She-Hulk, Star Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Captain Marvel, Vision, Luke Cage, Nova, Scarlet Spider, Agent Venom, and Iron Spider walking to meet them. Angela grinned at the sight of the heroes walking towards them.

"Oh my God, so cool!"

She-Hulk chuckled.

"Better believe it."

Thor stepped forward towards the knights.

"Ah, you are the Knights of the secret order who valiantly combat demons. It is an honor. I am Thor, Son of Odin."

The God of Thunder reached out a hand. The knights looked at one another then to the god, quiet. Each shook his hand, nodding to him. Angela grinned at the Thunder God.

"Is that really Mjolnir?"

Thor laughed heartily.

"Indeed, young one. Enchanted for only the worthy to lift and wield it."

Angela turned to Tyler.

"See if you can lift it!"

Tyler's eyes widened as he gulped a little. He rubbed the back of his neck as stammered a chuckle.

"N-No thank you, I'm good with my blade."

Thor chuckled.

"Tis all good. I see you are all gifted with blessed weapons."

The knights' eyes widened as they turned from him to their weapons and back to him. May gasped.

"H-How did you-?"

Thor grinned, gently patting Mjolnir.

"I'm a god who knows and feels tools with blessings upon them."

The knights shared another look with one another before nodding to Thor. The God of Thunder raised an eyebrow at this.

"Is something wrong?"

Iron Spider chuckled, everyone turned to him.

"They're just a little peeved at seeing 'another god'."

Luke Cage knocked an elbow into the younger hero's chest as he whispered.

"Not cool."

Thor scoffed.

"Again with the foolish boasting of your blindness to magic?"

Joseph sighed, turning to Iron Spider.

"You are not a believer?"

"I believe in science, I know there's no such thing as magic and gods."

Luke Cage elbowed him again, a little harder this time. Iron Spider grumbled. Iron Man turned to the knights.

"Don't take it personal, the kid just sees things for what they are, like me."

"I see things a little better than you. I would've already figured out the science behind that hammer blondie has already. And we're just going to discuss anther incursion by some barbarian aliens again."

Iron Man scoffed.

Tyler turned to Iron Spider.

"You can believe what you want. We shall believe what we believe."

Iron Spider laughed.

"You really think superstition will help us? Sure, maybe Thor's family's science will help, but-"

Angela tripped him. Iron Spider grunted as he hit the floor.

"Hey!"

"Oops, did I do that?"

Rocket laughed as he pointed at Iron Spider.

"Nice one, humie!"

Iron Spider grumbled as he picked himself off the floor and turned to Angela.

"If you're trying to damage this armor you're gonna have to do better than that."

Angela raised an eyebrow then turned to Tyler.

"Give me the sword."

"What?!"

"If little Mr. Egghead here thinks he's so cool with his 'super advanced science' let's see how it against a primitive weapon."

Iron Spider laughed.

"You think you can beat me with a nail file?"

Angela's eyes widened then narrowed, teeth gritting.

"When I'm finished with you, you're gonna need a mechanic!"

Hulk and Thor laughed, before the former spoke first.

"I like this kid."

"Truly, friend Hulk. Perhaps she has some Asgardian in her."

"Or Hulk."

Thor grinned at his friend, nodding, which Hulk returned. Angela blushed at all this. The knights couldn't help but smile. Iron Spider scoffed.

"Ok, let's go to one of the training rooms and see how you match up."

Angela turned to him, grinning.

"You're on."

Iron Spider chuckled.

"Follow me."

Iron Spider walked off with Angela following him.

Scarlet Spider grumbled.

"Where are you going? We have to meet about what the guy with the hat warned us about!"

"Just some barbarian idiots and whatever alien creatures these guys think are demons who have some advanced science that Spidey and the others should be stopping right now. Right now I have to make a point."

Scarlet Spider's eyes narrowed.

"Punk."

Agent Venom sighed.

"Ok, I'll go see if I can get them to stop this."

Angela grinned.

"Come watch me kick his can!"

Agent Venom laughed.

"Ok, I gotta go see this. Tell the Director I'm sorry, I gotta go watch this."

Agent Venom then jogged to catch up.

May turned to her son.

"Go make sure she's safe. Tyler... Step in if needed."

Tyler nodded and followed after them. Captain America shook his head before turning to the knights.

"I'm sorry about this. From what I've seen Iron Spider is usually cool headed agent. We shouldn't be at one another's throats, we have to be ready to stand together against this new threat. If we're fighting amongst ourselves even over matters like this, we won't be able to effectively work together to defend our home."

Captain Marvel chuckled.

"You always did know how to lay it on thick, huh, Army?"

Iron Man sighed.

"As much as I'd love to see science be proven right-"

Hulk grumbled.

"-time to act like adults. Let's go get the kids."

May turned to Captain America.

"Let her handle this. We've come to know that she's not so good at being told what to do by her elders."

Steve Rogers couldn't help but smile.

"Ok, a little trust towards her won't hurt. Besides, we vets shouldn't underestimate these guys anymore. Spider-Man and his team taught us that."

Luke Cage and Nova smiled and nodded, before the latter spoke.

"I'm gonna catch you guys later. I wanna see this fight personally."

Before anyone could speak he flew off in the direction where the others went. Luke Cage smacked his forehead.

"Bucket Head."

She-Hulk turned to Cap.

"You made HIM an Avenger?"

-Training Room-

Iron Spider chuckled as he stood a couple of yards across from Angela who frowned at him. Agent Venom chuckled as he stood on the sidelines. He turned to see Nova fly over and land next to him.

"I haven't missed it, have I?"

"No, the knight guy is handing her the sword now."

Tyler unsheathed his sword, the blade gleaming. His hands tightened around it for a moment, unable to look at it for a moment.

"Tyler."

He looks to her, both of them sharing a look without saying a word. A tear runs down Angela's face but she frowns, though not at Tyler, and nods to him. The young knight sighs, his breath unsteady. He then holds out the sword to her.

"You know you don't have to do this. My parents have been trying to help you work on your anger."

Angela reaches out to take the blade, her hands tightly gripping it as the frown deepening on her face.

"After what happened...I've had to suffer the skepticism and jokes of people like him even when I just gave small, tiny details...even when they saw how...afraid I was...how I broken...they still laughed. They called me 'insane', 'stupid', 'blind', or that 'I misunderstood' what happened. I'm not letting them do that to me anymore whether or not they know what happened."

Agent Venom and Nova's eyes widened a little at this, sharing a look. The latter spoke first.

"What's she talking about?"

Agent Venom was quiet for a moment before he answered in a whisper.

"She was bullied."

Nova rubbed the back of his neck.

"...That must make you feel-"

"Regret...guilt...which I deserve."

Angela inhaled and exhaled before turning to Iron Spider who stood, waiting.

"You must think you have this fight in the bag, huh?"

"That's a really simple way of putting it."

"Let's make a bet then."

Iron Spider scoffed.

"Why would I do that when I know you won't win?"

"Then let's prove it then. I keep fighting but you don't go for the straight away attacks to end the fight quickly. If you can simply do the minimum or simply wait for me to give up if I think I've got no chance or I'm too exhausted to continue, you can parade your 'superior' whatever it is around and I'll say I was wrong. But if I win, if I am able to overcome your supposed 'greater intellect and technology' with just this sword, you have to bite your tongue on being a skeptical j*** and apologize to Tyler, his family, the knights, Thor, and anyone who knows magic is real. You have to work with them and everyone here without being a total bully!"

Iron Spider chuckled.

"And also, when I win you tell me why you're so certain that ghosts, leprechauns, and other fairy tales are real. I'll show you some hard science why none of that is real."

Angela gritted her teeth. Agent Venom turned to Iron Spider.

"Hey, cool it with the trash talk! She's a guest!"

"You actually believe what-"

"You know what I was like in school, Cho. I gotta start calling out others for that same stuff that I did."

Iron Spider rolled his eyes and sighed.

"Fine."

Angela turned to Agent Venom.

"You don't believe in magic?"

"Huh? What? I wasn't talking about that. I...I was a bully in school. So I gotta make up for that if I can."

Angela slowly nodded.

Agent Venom nodded back.

"Oh and for the record, I think that Cho and the other eggheads aren't as smart as they think they are when magic's involved.

Angela chuckled a little. Iron Spider frowned.

"Hey!"

Agent Venom sighed.

"Right, right. Both of you ready?"

Iron Spider and Angela nodded.

"Go!"

Angela grunted as she rushed forward, holding the sword in both hands with the blade pointed behind her. Iron Spider moved around her strikes, the sword coming in from different angles but Iron Spider used the tendrils from the armor to block or brush aside the attacks.

Cho smirked as he used the armor's tracking something to follow her attacks as he spoke.

"Even I'm not sure if you're gonna last as long as I thought. With the armor's data collection and tracking system, I'll be able to predict your moves within a few moments."

Tyler turned to Agent Venom and Nova.

"Is that true?"

They both nodded, the latter spoke.

"I heard Iron Man bragging about how he used his armor to predict Cap's attacks and strategies."

Tyler shook his head.

"All the same, she can wins this."

Agent Venom nodded.

Angela grunted as she swung the sword again, missing her opponent as he slid to the side. She hurried forward, swinging the sword in a wide arc towards his torso. But the tendrils of the armor blocked the strike again. The young woman grumbled as she pulled the blade back then jumped up, swinging the sword down. Iron Spider chuckled as he blocked it again with the tendrils.

"Seriously? I know we all start somewhere, but it seems like you haven't been trained at all."

The young woman panted as she tried to kicking at one of Iron Spider's legs but he simply stood there. Angela grumbled as she pulled the sword away as her opponent scoffed.

"Kicking? Where's that fancy swordsmanship that's been hyped up this whole time by S.H.I.E.L.D.?"

Tyler turned to Agent Venom and Nova.

"Have you all been talking about us openly?"

The two shrugged, Agent Venom responding first.

"I don't know, man. I've been drilling with Cap and coaching the students here."

"Same, I was with the Guardians of the Galaxy in Star Lord's home town a few hours ago visiting before I escorted them back here."

Iron Spider continued to block each of the young woman's attacks as he spoke for himself.

"Only higher ranking S.H.I.E.L.D. members and the superhero teams have been in this dialogue about your secret club. I've been gone over the details of these conversations."

Iron Spider slowly hovered around Angela as tried to slash at him again.

"I know some have mentioned your order impressive swordsmanship. But seriously? Swords? In this day and age? It's outdated."

Agent Venom grumbled.

"What about Captain America?"

Iron Spider blocked another strike with he tendrils.

"I've studied his fights, he's using more modern technology. He's still not getting with the times and isn't using superstitious weapons in a fight."

Tyler frowned.

Angela shouted as she lunged forward, slashing down with he sword again. Iron Spider grumbled as he caught it with the tendrils.

"Come on, you haven't even made me break a sweat."

"How's this?"

She then grabbed one of his gauntlets and literally made him punch himself before Iron Spider could realize her intent.

"What?!"

The hold on the sword was gone and Angela pulled it back, skidding a few feet away from her opponent. Cho chuckled after a moment.

"Nice try, but this armor is more than tough enough to go toe to toe with Spider-Man who even when holding back hits a LOT harder than you can with one of my gauntlets."

Angela smirked.

"Yet I caught you off guard. So much for your 'unstoppable' machine."

Cho frowned.

"Fine, let's see you do it again."

Angela shouted as she rushed forward, slashing at one of the gauntlets as Iron Spider moved to the side. The young hero jumped to the side before the young woman followed, going for a stab at the other gauntlet. He slid away.

"Going for my gauntlets? An arguably understandable tactic but a mistake all the same."

He leapt forward to which his eyes widened a little as she rushed to meet him, slashing down with the sword and aimed at his his face plate. Iron Spider bursted back.

"That sword isn't going to get through my armor, this face plate is just as strong as any other part."

Angela grumbled as she rushed forward, the sword dragging across the floor. Sparks flew before she brought it up, swinging the sword towards Iron Spider's neck. He used the tendrils to push the blade away again.

"Well, you're certainly enthusiastic about this fight."

The young woman scoffed.

"And you're just avoiding it."

Iron Spider scoffed as he used the tendrils to walk above her as they extended in length and size.

"I'm following the rules of our bet. You haven't landed a single good hit that would really make it go in your favor. Come on, you gotta know you aren't gonna win this."

"Let's see!"

Angela shouted as she slashed at one of the tendrils, pushing it aside before racing another to take a swing at it. She grumbled as Iron Spider began to move the tendrils away and around her, almost as if he was dancing around and above her. Then she rushed over and jumped onto one of the tendrils. Iron Spider's eyes narrowed for a moment.

"What?"

Angela shouted as she leapt from the tendril after she got a more solid hold on it. She screamed as she swung the sword at Iron Spider, who then blocked with two other tendrils.

"Nice try, but-"

But the young woman quickly dropped to the floor and rushed to another tendril and swung the sword at it, making it skid back slightly before she then tackled it. Iron Spider's eyes widened as he was knocked back.

"What?!"

Angela grunted as she rushed forward, swinging the sword and cutting across Iron Spider's face plate.

"Hey!"

She hurried towards him as he picked himself up, slashing down with the blade.

The tendrils blocked the strike but then she kicked him on his face plate and knocked him on his back. Angela shouted as she hacked at him with the sword, the blade starting to make cuts in the armor.

"What?! You're not even using any strategy!"

Tyler chuckled as he watched Angela slash at the tendrils as they move near her while she screamed.

"Think you're so smart now?! Tell me how smart you are smart boy! Tell me!"

Iron Spider blasted away while he was still on the floor then launched up and landed on his feet.

"Why you-!"

Angela was already rushing at him, swinging the sword again.

Iron Spider shouted as he threw a punch, but the young woman slashed at the attack. The blade sliced across the gauntlet and left a small cut as it knocked back his attack. She then screamed as she lunged forward and slashed down with the sword, striking Iron Spider's face plate.

"What-?!"

She then kicked out at one of his legs then slashed at him again, repeating this style of attack more than once. Angela kicked at different parts of his armor before she hacked at him with the sword. Cho gritted his teeth as his armor's systems tried to analyze her strategy.

"Why am I not getting a pattern of attack? How are you doing this?"

Iron Spider grumbled as he went for another punch, but Angela quickly struck out with the sword to halt his attack. She then slashed down with the blade again then dropped to the floor and swung it again, cutting across her opponent's legs. Cho's eyes widened as he stumbled slightly.

"No-!"

Angela shouted as she kicked him, her foot striking his chest-plate and knocking him onto the floor. She shouted as she hacked down at him, the blade cutting his armor and knocking away his gauntlets as he tried to block or counterattack.

"You've gotta be-!"

Angela kicked at him, knocking his head to the side and hacking down with the sword again. The blade began to start cutting deeper into the armor with each strike. Cho's eyes widened.

"Ok! Ok! Stop!"

Angela held the blade at his faceplate.

"Get out of the armor so there's no funny business."

Cho grumbled then nodded. Agent Venom and Nova's eyes were wide while Tyler grinned.

The Iron Spider armor opened and retracted, revealing Amadeus Cho who got onto his feet. He dusted himself off.

"That sword isn't adamantium or vibranium, how was it able to do so much damage eventually?"

Angela smirked as she held the sword in both hands, her eyes on the blade itself.

"It has a little something special added to the metal."

Cho rolled his eyes. Angela frowned as she pointed the blade at him.

"Remember our deal, don't be a jerk. Got it?"

Cho grumbled, frowning. The young woman moved the blade closer to him.

"Got it?"

Cho sighed.

"...Got it..."

He turned to his armor then back to Nova and Agent Venom, the former taking photos of the moment.

"Tell the Director when you see him that I'm gonna be in my lab repairing my armor."

Angela smacked him with the flat side of the sword.

"Apologize to everyone first!"

Amadeus grumbled and nodded before he walked over to Tyler, who simply smiled at Angela, who smiled back at him.

AN: What's everyone's thoughts on this chapter? It seems Angela surprised Cho. How will these two interact next chapter, guess you'll find out ;)
