Past

Bell and Regis walked back to their cabin. A buck was slung over Bell's shoulders. Bell had just shot the deer in the lung and planned to eat it.

It was his 11th birthday today, so his Grandpa and Alfia told him to stay out of the house for the day. So he was playing in the woods with Regis until he spotted a beautiful buck from atop a tree.

Regis and him then spent the next few hours tracking it. After which, Bell shot it, and that leads us to here.

The sun was setting, and Bell could see his cabin come into view. He let out a tired sigh as he placed the carcass by his front door. He could skin it later.

He walked inside and saw his Grandpa and Alfia sitting in the living room. As well as a few guests. Bell knew two of them.

The smiling blonde cunt with the feather cap was Hermes. His legs were crossed, and his arm propped up. Resting his chin on his hand. The other was his captain, Asfi. She had made it to the dark silver core of her Mana Core.

However, there were two people Bell didn't know.

One was a goddess with golden blonde hair and hazel green eyes. She wore a blue toga with a pink sash over it. She was beautiful yet held herself as if she was better than everyone else.

Bell found that type of behavior ugly.

The other was a woman with cherry-red hair and pink eyes. She was beautiful, and her face was full of freckles. She wore a grey sundress and sandals.

Which was an odd choice for the mountains.

Bell couldn't feel any divinity coming from this woman. But that didn't mean she wasn't a goddess. The divine beings could suppress their divinity, making them appear as mortal as he was.

However, he noticed the sideways glare Alfia gave the woman.

"Ah, Bell, good your back. I assume your hunting trip went well?" Hermes asked, getting on his feet.

"Hmm, oh, hello, Uncle Hermes. It went alright, I killed a buck. Wasn't too hard." Bell said, washing his hands.

"Excellent, excellent. That'll be our dinner for tonight. Now I bet you're wondering why we're here?"

Bell nodded as he dried his hands. "The thought did cross my mind. Another one was who these two strange women are."

Before Hermes could respond, the blonde-haired goddess scoffed.

"Strange, I am not strange. You should be honored to be in the presence of the great Aphrodite."

Bell blinked as he stared at the goddess. Regis, on the other hand, looked at her chest and laughed.

"For a goddess of beauty, your tits are pretty small." Regis mocked.

Bell smiled and had to bite his tongue to stop himself from laughing. Regis triumphantly smirked at the goddess, whose face was turning red in anger.

"I see you're still immature, Regis." The redheaded woman spoke.

"Shut up bitch." Regis snarled.

Bell was taken slightly off guard by the remark. Not because of the words but because of the tone. It was full of anger, not teasing.

Just who was this woman? Why did Regis seem to hate her? Bell never got any answers as his attention was driven back to Aphrodite.

Zeus looked at Regis and shook his head. Regis clicked his tongue and looked away.

"Uh, Uncle Hermes, why are these two in my house?" Bell asked.

"Well, your Grandfather wants to do a little test with you and Aphrodite here. The other lady is just here to observe." Hermes explained.

"What's the other woman's name?" Bell asked. Ignoring Aphrodite, causing her to pout.

"Her name is Juno Bell. Just Juno." Alfia responded.

Bell shrugged. "OK, anyway, what's this test I'm supposed to do? Oh, and hi, Asfi."

Asfi gave him a small wave but remained silent as Hermes slithered his way over to Aphrodite.

"Now, Aphrodite, my dear, you know what to do?"

Aphrodite brushed Hermes off. "Yes, yes, I know. Boy, stare into my eyes."

"Remember what'll happen if you get carried away," Alfia warned.

"I know, I know."

Bell looked to Regis, who nodded. Bell shrugged and shook his head. What's the worst that could happen?

Present

"Bell, Bell, wake up," Miach whispered, shaking Bell awake.

Bell's eyes fluttered open, and he squinted. "Miach, shit, what time is it?"

"It's four in the morning. Come on, wake up, there's something I want to show you."

Bell sat up and yawned. "And this couldn't have waited until later."

Miach shook his head. "Nope, we need to get good spots for today. But we're picking up breakfast from a restaurant. Now come on, get up."

Bell grabbed his boots and yawned once more. "Alright I'm up, I'm up. Geez, Miach, you act like the world is ending."

"Well, look at it this way. If we don't get a good spot today, we'll drum up very little business. Now grab those stands and that bag. Be careful with it. It's full of glass."

Bell stood up and grabbed the things. "Alright, I got it. Now come on, let's go get this fabled good spot you're talking about."

Miach smiled. "Good, you're learning. Sooner or later, I'll teach you to be a good salesman."

"I'd rather jump off the top of Babel."

Miach chuckled as Bell and Regis followed behind him. The dog being unusually quiet.

.

.

.

After arriving on Main Street in Miach's fabled good spot, Bell proceeded to help the blue-haired god set up.

Once they were done, Miach snaked his arm around Bell's shoulder.

"Alright, time for breakfast. Come with me. I know a place that you'll absolutely love."

Bell looked to Regis, who sat by the stand. "You alright to stay here, Regis?"

The dog peeked his head up. "Yeah, don't worry. I won't let any hoodlum steal your shit. Now go get breakfast or whatever."

Bell turned back around as Micah practically dragged him away. The two kept walking with tiny flecks of sunshine peeking over Orario's walls.

"So, what is this thing you want to show me?" Bell asked.

"No, what, who."

"That's even more cryptic."

Miach chuckled. "Don't worry, it's nothing harmful. I believe you'll be pleasantly surprised."

"That's even more cryptic."

Miach chuckled once more but didn't say anything else. A few minutes later, the two arrived at a tavern called the Hostess of Fertility.

Bell found the name odd and also wondered why he was here. It was close to five in the morning, and this place should be closed. So why was he here with Micah?

The god walked to the door and knocked on it in a unique way. A few seconds later, a big, brown-haired, burly dwarf woman opened it.

She gazed down at Miach, and then her stern gaze turned softer seeing Bell. He didn't know why, but this woman already seemed dangerous.

"About time you showed up. Come inside food's waiting for ya."

"Good to see you to Mia." Micah greeted.

Miach went inside, and Bell followed behind him. He only had his knife on him, and he made sure to keep his hand close to it.

Miach took a seat at the bar as Mia went behind it. Bell took his seat next to Miach as Mia stood opposite of him.

"So this is the Leywin, I presume?" Mia asked.

Bell quickly jumped off his stool, his knife drawn. Mia looked impassively at him while Miach raised his hand.

"Easy Bell, she doesn't mean you any harm." Miach comforted.

"How the hell does she know who I am?!" Bell asked. He was a second away from calling Regis for help.

"Bell, it's alright, just listen to what she has to say. I promise you your secret is still safe." Micah softly spoke.

Bell slightly glanced at Miach and saw the sincerity in his eyes. He glanced back over to Mia, who had her arms crossed, showing off her bulging biceps and a look of impassiveness and understanding.

Bell put his knife away and warily looked between Miach and Mia. Mia, on the other hand, sighed and shook her head.

"I'm guessing you didn't explain anything beforehand, old friend?" Mia asked.

"I wanted this to be a surprise. Maybe I should've told him to avoid all this trouble."

"Tell me what?" Bell asked, looking between the two.

Miach looked over to Mia, who nodded.

"Well, Mia here is also a Leywin. Arthur's sister Ellie is her Grandmother."

Bell's posture relaxed, and a look of confusion was on his face. "You're...a Leywin? Like me?"

Mia nodded. "I am, like you. I've also kept my name hidden. I can name all the people that know on one hand and still have four fingers remaining. Well, three now."

Bell's brow furrowed in confusion. "So Miach's the only one that knew? Why?"

Mia shrugged. "Simple, he's a good friend of mine. I trusted him with this secret. He trusted me with yours, and I'm trusting you with mine."

Bell sat back down and stared at Mia. "I thought I was the last one."

"So did I after your father died. You have his eyes, but you look more like your mother."

Bell's eyes widened. "You knew my mother?"

Mia nodded. "I did, it also means I know who your aunt is. Don't worry, I won't say anything, and if the truth gets out one day, I'll have your back. As weird as it is to say it, you're family, after all."

"I-I don't know what to say, really. I don't know what to feel. I'm happy to know I'm not the last Leywin. But I don't really know how else to feel."

Mia shrugged. "Eh, that's fine, just take your food and go. Once you figure everything out, just come back here, and we'll talk."

Bell didn't say anything but nodded. Mia went inside the kitchen and placed a bag full of food on the bar. Miach grabbed it and said goodbye to Mia as he and Bell left.

Once the door shut, Mia looked out the window at their departing forms.

"That kid has definitely been seen by Freya. It's only a matter of time before she makes her move. I only hope he's ready for when she does." Mia thought.

"Mama Mia nya. Who was that nya?" Anya asked, coming down the stairs.

"No one, Anya. Go get dressed. The breakfast rush will be starting soon."

"Ok, nya." Anya yawned.

.

.

.

.

Bell and Miach walked down the street in silence. Miach held the food while Bell was trying to process what just happened.

Regis wasn't his only family left anymore. He had someone else he could rely on. But it felt weird to know that.

"I apologize if this caught you off guard. That wasn't my intention." Miach apologized.

Bell shook his head. "No, it's fine; I understand what you were trying to do. It's just...I don't know how to react to not being the last Leywin anymore."

"I understand, like Mia said, take your time to process it and get back to her when you're comfortable."

The two then arrived back at their stand and heard a shot.

"Back up motherfuckers! I'll burn your fucking asses six ways from Sunday if I see your asses again!" Regis yelled.

Two teens quickly ran away as Regis stood in front of the stand, growling. Bell laughed, and Regis turned around.

"Damn, hoodlums." He muttered.

"Thank you for protecting my stand, Regis."

"No problem, I smell hash browns. Gimmie one."

Bell rolled his eyes as Miach reached into the bag and grabbed one. He tossed it to Regis, who caught it in his mouth. He ate it as Bell and Miach sat down.

"Well, if you like good food, Mia's in the place to go. Here, try these eggs." Miach offered.

Bell took them out of his hand as Miach set the rest of the food up on the stand. Miach handed Bell a fork, and the boy stabbed his fork into the eggs.

He brought the food up to his mouth, and it exploded in flavor. Everything was perfect, from the flavor to the texture to the spices used.

Bell quickly started chowing down as Miach chuckled. "I know it's good, but slow down. I don't need you choking."

Bell didn't listen and kept stuffing his face full of eggs. Miach just sighed and shook his head.

"Give me another hash brown," Regis demanded, sitting at his leg.

"It's like I'm stuck with two children," Miach muttered, tossing the hash brown to Regis.

The sun rose, and Monsterphlia truly began. Citizens and travelers flocked to the streets to experience the festival. Most headed to the Coliseum while others wandered around the city. Taking in the sights and embracing the pleasures Orario had to offer.

Bell, meanwhile, slept in his seat in the shade as passersby eyed Miach potions and other goods he had brought. Most bought something while others looked.

A slight breeze was blowing, and Miach and Regis enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Miach looked over at Bell, who had his eyes closed as he rested.

"Don't worry too much about him. He's just tired because he's having dreams of a simpler time." Regis said.

"Before he came here, you mean?"

Regis nodded. "Yup, life was so much easier for him."

A comfortable silence filled the air as Miach sold more and more items. Eventually, however, he got an unexpected visitor.

"Good morning, Miach, it's nice to see you out and about. How goes the business?" Astraea asked.

Miach warmly smiled at the goddess and friend. "It's going well, Astraea, I just recently got out of debt."

Astraea smiled as Alise and Kaguya funneled behind her.

"That's wonderful to hear, Miach. How were you able to get the money for it?" Astraea asked.

"Well, I had a hero come by and help me out." Miach eluded as he looked to Bell.

Said boy had his arms crossed and head leaning down, his chin pressing into his chest as he slept.

"How is he able to sleep with this much noise?" Astraea asked.

"Because he's lived with me his entire life," Regis interjected.

"Did that dog just talk?" Kaguya asked.

"I'm a wolf, not a dog."

Kaguya stared confusedly at Regis. She felt like she had met him before. But no memory came to mind, no matter how hard she tried to find it.

"Alright, Miach, let's wake up sleeping beauty here so he can say hi to our guests," Regis said, walking over to Bell.

He was getting ready to bite him on the leg when Alise stopped him.

"Regis, can I? There's something I want to try." Alise asked. Her voice and posture full of mischief.

Regis smiled as he walked back. Alise walked up to Bell. Her ponytail flowing in the breeze as she leaned in close to Bell's ear.

"Wake up, I'm not wearing anything," Alise whispered.

Bell opened one eye and looked at Alise. Kaguya knew what Alise meant by saying Bell had Silver's eyes.

"Didn't take you for a streaker," Bell responded as he stretched.

Alise stepped back and pouted. "Aw, you were supposed to be flustered."

Bell quirked an eyebrow. "At you being naked in the middle of the street?"

Alise went to rebuke, but her words died in her throat. "Fair point."

Bell blinked, brushing the sleep away from his eyes. He yawned and waved at Astraea.

"Good morning, Astraea. It's nice to see you again."

"And you as well, Bell, this here is my Vice Captain Kaguya." Astraea introduced.

The Far Eastern woman strode over, and Bell felt like he was in danger from her gaze alone. So full of hunger yet the ability to keep it in check.

"So you're Bell, Lady Astraea, and the captain here have told me a lot about you." She cooed. Kaguya stuck out her hands for Bell to shake.

He wearily looked at it but decided to shake it nonetheless. "Hope it isn't anything-

He didn't finish his sentence as Kaguya pulled him forward. She pushed his face between her breasts and hugged him.

"Oh, you're so adorable, Lady Astraea told me all about you, and don't worry. Your big sister Kaguya will protect you from any harm."

Bell was confused and slightly embarrassed. Kaguya smelled like a cherry tree and vanilla. He could feel her breasts on either side of his head shaking around as she moved from side to side.

Miach and Regis weren't any help as the god looked away while the dog laughed. Meaning Bell was stuck in the chest of a level six adventurer with no way out.

"There's worse ways to die, my boy." He heard his Grandpa say.

"Oh shit, looks like I really am on my way to heaven." Bell thought.

He was saved from an early grave by Alise pulling Kaguya back. Bell took a deep breath as Regis kept laughing and laughing.

"Kaguya, you nearly smothered him!" Alise chastised.

"Oh, he didn't mind," Regis added.

"Shut up, dog." Bell wheezed.

"I do apologize for Kagua's behavior, Bell. She's well, intimate." Astraea said.

"I can tell," Bell said.

After Alise was done chastising Kaguya, the Far Eastern woman turned back around and looked at Bell. The boy was ready to use Static Void if he had to.

He wasn't going to get grabbed again. He might not make it out this time.

"Alright, now call me big sister!" Kaguya demanded.

Bell's brow furrowed in confusion. "What, no."

"Oh, come on, just once. You don't want to upset your big sis Kaguya, do you?"

"Regis, help me out here."

"Nope, you're on your own. Your big sister here wants to protect you."

Bell shook his head while Regis laughed. Kaguya stared at the boy but was dragged back by Astraea.

"Kaguya, you're scaring him. Tone it down."

"Fine, Lady Astraea, but I will get you to call me it one day," Kaguya stated.

Bell looked over at Alise. "And here I thought you'd be the eccentric one."

"What gave you that idea?"

"Just a hunch."

"Don't worry so much, your big sis Alise won't let Kaguya harm you."

Bell groaned and facepalmed. "I hate this."

Alise gasped. "What, two beautiful women claiming themselves as your big sisters? Who want nothing more than to protect you from harm. How could you hate this."

"Because I have two women who I barely know saying they're my big sisters and want to protect me from harm."

"Yeah, I don't see any downsides," Alise said.

Bell sighed and shook his head. He had some somewhat eccentric protectors, and he hadn't even met the last one yet.

Alise snapped her fingers and plopped something into Bell's lap. Bell furrowed his brow as he looked down. There was a Minotaur horn on his lap.

"What's this?" He asked.

"A Minotaur horn," Alise answered.

"Yeah, I know what it is. Why is it in my lap?"

"Because it's yours, your bond killed the Minotaur, and by right, it's yours."

Bell examined the horn as he held it. "Huh, well, thanks for giving it to me. Miach, do you think you can make any potions with this?"

"A Minotaur horn? No, not really; try and see if you can make a weapon out of it." Miach said.

Bell listened to Miach's words and shrugged. "Well, I don't know what'll be made of it. But it couldn't hurt to hold onto it. Here, Regis catch."

"Huh?"

Bell chucked the horn at the distracted Regis. The horn slammed into Regis's face, causing the dog to shake his head.

"Asshole." He muttered.

"I said catch, not my fault you were perving on someone."

"Was not."

Astraea giggled at the two's behavior. Alise and Kaguya were already back by her side again browsing the stand.

"Hey, Bell, what perfume do you think I should get?" Alise asked.

Bell looked at her for a second before answering. "The roses."

"That was fast." She said.

"You look like a rose type of gal," Bell answered.

"Such a way with words." She joked.

She picked out the perfume while Kaguya grabbed a cherry tree one.

"Hey, Bell, what about this one for me?" Kaguya asked, showing him.

"Hmm, cherry trees predominantly grow in the Far East. Works perfectly for you." Bell answered.

Kaguya smiled as she and Alise paid for their item. Astraea then spoke.

"Well, it was wonderful seeing you again. But I'm afraid I must be on my way. The rest of my familia is somewhere around here, and I need to make sure they're not causing too much trouble."

"If they're anything like those two, you have your work cut out for you." Bell deadpanned.

"You're right Alise he does have a way with words." Kaguya cooed.

Bell shook his head as the three walked away. Once they were gone, he leaned back and sighed.

"Well, they've only become more of a handful since growing up," Regis said.

"I can already feel the headaches," Bell muttered, closing his eyes.

"Oh, they mean well, just don't let Kaguya grab you again." Miach teased.

Bell opened one eye. "Nazha, the jealous type?"

Miach nodded. "Yes, she can be a...little possessive. Why?"

"Noted."

Bell closed his eye and rested them once more. Miach felt a slight sense of panic.

"Bell, what are you gonna do?"

Bell didn't respond.

"Bell, what are you planning?" Miach asked, slightly more panicked.

Again no response.

"Bell, this isn't funny."

"Whatever do you mean, Miach?" Bell questioned.

This was how the next 20 minutes were spent.

.

.

.

.

It was around two PM, and Bell was wide awake now. His little naps kept getting interrupted by Regis biting him on the leg.

"I have bite marks because of you," Bell muttered.

"Stop falling asleep then," Regis responded.

"I was woken up at four in the morning. You're the one that doesn't need any sleep."

"Sounds like a you problem," Regis smirked.

"Boy, boys, settle down. You're drawing a crowd." Miach urged.

Regis and Bell looked out into the street and saw that they had indeed drawn a crowd. Bell nervously waved while Regis stuck his head up in triumph.

The crowd quickly dispersed, however, as the moving tide of people pushed them away. Bell sank back in his seat.

"If you're bored, you can go wander around." Micah offered.

Bell shook his head. "Nah, I'm good, I'm perfectly content sitting here and selling things. Makes for a peaceful day."

"Alright, but I won't stop you if you want to explore a little. You're young; you should go and live a little."

Bell chuckled. "Miach, if I went and explored, there's a good chance I would get lost. Then Regis would have to go on a wild goose chase to find me."

"I'd let you be lost for a good few hours, though. It would be funny." Regis added.

"No, it wouldn't," Miach said.

"To me at least."

Bell shook his head. Despite how Regis acted, Bell did care for the bond. He was one of the only ties Bell had left of his father. The only one he could really get stories from.

Bell, of course, never asked for any of them. He didn't know why. It could've been he didn't want to hear about his father. About the things he did while alive.

Because in the end, he'd just be reminded that his dad was dead. But somewhere deep inside him wanted to know these stories. To know what type of person his father was.

But he never asked. He hadn't asked yet, at least. But Regis was always ready to tell him stories.

"What's going on up there?" Micah asked, peeking out of his stall.

Bell was roused from his thoughts as he peaked out and saw a panic up the street. He reached for his knife and started slowly moving up the street.

"Miach, head back to the shop. Regis, go with him." Bell ordered.

"Is everything alright, Bell?" Miach asked.

"No, Bell, there's monsters up ahead," Regis stated.

"Then escort Miach back. I'll see if I can help."

Bell didn't wait for any protests as he started running down the street. He pushed his way past panicking citizens who ran opposite of him.

Once he came to the entrance of the Coliseum, he saw two Silverback Gorillas and three orcs. His eyes narrowed as they approached a cowering girl.

She was a chienthrope who looked no older than nine. The five monsters were approaching her as she hid under a stand.

Bell was quick to encase her in an earthen barrier. The monsters, seeing their prey hidden from them, looked around to see who dared take away their kill.

Bell let out a loud whistle, grabbing their attention.

"Over here, uglies!" Bell yelled.

The monsters looked at Bell, and one of the Silverbacks snarled. Bell's gaze hardened, and he brought his knife up. Ready to deal with the runaway monster.

The first to attack was a Silverback that beat its chest. It charged forward, and Bell waited til the last second to dodge.

He stuck his hand out, and fire erupted from his palm. It set the Silverback's fur on fire, and the eight-foot Gorilla threw itself into a building.

Its hands mashed against its fur, trying to put the fire out, but ultimately failed and collapsed to the ground.

"Huh, they move so slow." Bell thought.

The second Silverback grabbed a cart and threw it full force at Bell. Bell glanced at it before using a crescent of water to slice through it.

The wooden cart shattered into two as the crescent still kept its path. It impacted the Silverback, slicing the monster in two.

It dissolved into ash since its monster stone was shattered. The three Orcs charged headfirst at Bell.

The ground rumbled as they charged toward him. Bell remained calm, however, as he sidestepped them.

The Orcs barreled past and stopped, realizing their prey had evaded them. Bell took this chance and threw his knife at one of their monster stones.

The Orc turned to ash as Bell used the thin, nearly invisible string of mana to pull his knife back to him. It landed in his palm as the Orcs turned around.

Bell swiped his hand, and a crescent of fire flew forward. It sliced off the heads of the Orcs, leaving the street barren. Minus the bodies and Bell.

Bell let out a breath and sheathed his knife. He walked over to the small earthen structure he made and sent the rocks back into the ground.

The little girl was still cowering with her ear covered. Bell gently shook her, causing her to jump.

She jumped in fright, causing her to fall back.

"No, please don't eat me!" She cried.

Bell gently grabbed her once more. "Hey it's ok, you're safe now."

The little girl immediately grabbed onto him, hearing those words. She cried into Bell's shirt, and the boy just patted her on the back.

"You're alright, shh, it's-

Bell quickly dove to his left. The girl was wrapped tightly in his arms. His shoulder slammed into the ground as he felt a pop. He gritted his teeth to stop the scream from leaving his lips.

A vine slammed into the ground right where he and the girl stood. Bell pushed himself up to his feet, putting the girl behind him as he drew his knife.

In front of him was a plant-like monster with petals surrounding a mouth with rows of sharp teeth.

Bell examined the creature and noticed it was plant-like. He could see its vines and could tell it had roots under the road.

The girl cowered behind him as Bell stood tall against the monster.

"Hmm, it's a plant, made of vines and roots. Fire will do the trick." Bell deduced.

He went to attack, but the girl grabbed onto his shirt. She was scared that much was obvious. But Bell needed to fight no matter how much his shoulder was hurting him.

But if he charged forward, there was a good chance the monster would target the girl. He couldn't allow that to happen.

"Alright, onto plan b then."

Using the thin string of mana that wrapped itself around the handle of his blade, Bell began to spin it, turning his dagger into a flail.

He was about to light it on fire, but the creature's head suddenly turned away from him. Bell squinted in confusion before the monster's head exploded.

Bell blinked in surprise in shock as he grabbed his knife. The plant monster fell dead as Bell's vision filled with two elves.

One had orange hair, while the other had blonde. Bell didn't know their names, but they were accompanied by Kaguya and Alise.

Bell felt his shoulders sag as he took a deep breath. He put his knife away but winced, feeling his shoulder shoot pain once more.

He paid it little mind, however, as he crouched down and held the little girl.

"It's alright, you're safe now. I promise."

The girl still clung to him while Alise and the others approached.

"You alright, Bell?" Alise asked.

Bell nodded. "Yeah, I am, what the hell was that thing?"

Bell knew every monster type from here to the 82nd floor. But he had no idea what type of monster that was, and he knew it wasn't from a lover floor else it wouldn't have been killed so easily.

"Don't know, but are you sure you're alright? Your shoulder doesn't look too good." Alise answered.

"Well, I took a tumble jumping out of the way. Might be dislocated."

"Bell!" Miach yelled.

Bell turned his attention to his god and Regis running toward him.

"I thought I told you to keep him away!" Bell yelled.

"He didn't listen, remind you of someone." Regis joked.

Miach quickly rushed over to Bell and grabbed his left shoulder. Bell groaned and bit his tongue.

"Hmm, yes, it appears to be dislocated." Miach mused.

"I could've told you that!" Bell snapped.

Miach ignored him as he grabbed Bell's arm.

"This is going to hurt. Alise, can you take the child away, please? She doesn't need to see what's about to happen."

Alise nodded and grabbed the little girl. Bringing her over to Regis. A bright smile spread across her face as she started to pet him unprovoked.

Regis looked annoyed but didn't protest at all. He had a soft spot for children.

"You might want to cover her ears." Micah cautioned.

Alise did so, and Micah popped Bell's shoulder back into. Bell leaned forward and couldn't stop the curse from escaping his lips.

"FUCK!" He yelled.

He let out less than manly groans as he rocked back and forth. Lefiya and Laurier turned away as Bell's shoulder was popped into place. Such things made them squeamish.

Miach handed Bell a health potion, and the boy greedily drank it down. Once he was done, he handed the tube back to Miach.

"Feeling better now?" Miach asked.

Bell nodded, feeling the pain dull. "Yeah, just a little boo boo. Nothing too major."

"Well, at least you're a good sport about it. Now, what shall we do with our young friend here?" Miach asked, looking at the girl.

Alise had long uncovered her ears, and the girl was still petting Regis. Bell pointed and laughed at him while the dog glared at him. But one question was on everyone's mind.

Where were her parents?

.

.

Atop a rooftop and nearly out of sight, a woman with long grey hair stood. She had watched the fight between Bell and the monsters and was quite impressed.

"Hmm, three magics and at such a young age. Most only have one or two. Three's rare but not unheard of. I wonder if you're hiding more?" The woman wondered.

It was know that these born with a Mana Core could posses two types of magic. Three was rare but not unheard of. Possessing four was even rarer. Five was once every few decades, and six was once every hundred years.

Rivieria possessed six magics. As such, she was regarded as one of the bests mages in the world and the best in Orario.

But as the woman wondered what else Bell could possess. She didn't know one key detail.

Bell had six magics when he was seven. He was much older now.

Well, this is a good stopping point. Changed the fight from the original and changed the magic system a bit because I don't feel like I made it known how absolutely broken Bell is as a Leywin.

Even with all his magic, he still comes nowhere close to any of his relatives before him. But I don't wanna rant about that.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed and if you're worried about me, I'm doing fine. Well, as fine as I can be.

Anyway later.
