Chapter 16 New Members

For a moment there was only silence in the stable as the Three Heroes and the Princess who accompanied them were staring at the three little girls with wings that were sitting in the pen their filolials had been in finally after a few minutes Malty covered her ears because she could tell what was going to happen.

''Who the heck are you!''

They're shouts caused the little girls to jump ''you know who we are'' they said in unison before introducing themselves.

''I'm Filo!''

''I'm Melody!''

''And I'm Cloud!''

The three cheered, Malty smiled before turning to the stable master ''get some robes to cover them, we can't have them walking around like that'' she ordered.

''Y-yes ma'am'' said the stable master before running off.

''M-Malty-''

''Why am I not phased by this'' Malty finished for Naofumi he nodded ''I suppose we're probably going to have to explain why the stable master ran in and made a commotion, so I'll explain there just bare with it for now ok and know that these are the Filolials''

Ren and Itsuki looked at each other baffled, while Naofumi simply shrugged he trusted Malty at this point and decided to see how this would play out, the stable master quickly returned with three blankets that we're usually used for horses, Malty then entered the pen and wrapped the blankets around each of the girls making a sort of toga for each of them, before letting them out of the pen.

As soon as they were out the three ran to their masters and jumped up to hug them excitedly, taking the three Heroes by surprise which made Malty smile at how cute the three girls were, but that faded when a guard came in stating that the king wanted to know what was going on and thus the group of seven ended up going back to the throne room, at this point the large crowd of nobles had left and the only ones waiting for them were the king, Dominic, Motoyasu and his party and their parties.

They all looked at the three girls taking note of the wings on their backs looking at them in confusion, wondering what they were this was when Malty stepped up to explain ''these three are the Filolials of the Heroes, there's a legend that if a Hero raises a Filolial it will evolve and become a Filolial King or Queen and that's what seems to have happened''

''Wait why didn't you tell us!'' Motoyasu cried.

''I honestly didn't know if it were true or not'' shrugged Malty ''I gave you all Filolial Eggs because I thought it would be a good start for you, I didn't know the legend was true''

Motoyasu collapsed to his hands and knees ''I- I can't believe this'' he sputtered out, he was sobbing and Malty knew why ''all this time- I could have- I could have- I could have-'' he went silent and the other heroes actually felt a bit sorry for him.

''Motoyasu it's alright man'' said Naofumi.

''Naofumi's right you can still get a Filolial and raise it'' said Itsuki.

''Yeah, it should be easy to catch up'' said Ren.

''I missed out the chance on getting my own beautiful angel!'' Motoyasu cried.

And thus the Three Heroes sympathy for him was gone and now they were looking at Motoyasu in disgust, after that it was decided that the meeting would end, but as it ended Malty recommended they get a special seal for the Filolial Queens as well as some clothing for them, but as the Shield Hero party was about to leave Malty overheard a conversation between Itsuki and his new Filolial Queen.

''Master I don't like this guy'' Melody said pointing at Mald ''he feels off''

''Now Melody be quiet its all alright'' said Itsuki.

''But Master-'' Melody started, only to be silenced by a glare Itsuki shot at her.

''I would listen to her if I were you'' said Malty, causing Itsuki to look over to her ''one thing I know about Filolials is that they're very loyal and very affectionate to their owners, she's just looking out for your best interest, its your choice to listen to her or not but I would if I were you'' and with that Malty turned back to her comrades as they left they had a couple of stops to make now that Filo was a Filolial Queen.

''Does it still hurt Filo?'' Malty asked.

''A little'' said Filo rubbing her chest where a mark was now placed.

''Aww'' Malty cooed, giving her a sidewards hug as they kept walking, it hurt to give Filo the mark but they needed to make sure she could be controlled just in case ''I'm sorry sweetheart, but you had to get it, the pain will stop soon, I promise''

''Really?'' Filo asked ''you really promise?''

''According to Beloukas the pain will fade quicker in that form'' Eclair stated ''so just stay in the form your in and it'll stop eventually''

''Yay!'' Filo cheered jumping up excitedly, but then her hand went to her chest ''wow''

''Don't do anything too strenuous it'll make it last longer ok?'' Rishia stated.

''Ok'' Filo nodded.

Malty smiled before turning back to look at her cousin who was walking behind them with his arms crossed ''you ok Fohl?'' She asked.

''Yeah, I just want to see my sister'' said Fohl ''you said after the Second Wave and after the party we would go see her''

''I know and we will but we just need to do a couple of things first, don't worry once we're done we'll go see Atla I promise'' stated Malty.

''Fine, I'll wait'' Fohl grumbled.

They finally made their way to the tailors, it was the same one Naofumi and Raphtalia took Filo to in the anime, when they arrived in front of the tailor shop the doors flung open and the tailor practically dragged them all inside, she was as energetic as she was from the story crying out ''oh, my latest customers, oh this is the best a lovely little angel! She's so cute!''

''Master am I really cute?'' Filo asked ''I want to know''

''W-well… err… I think so'' said Naofumi with a shrug.

''Good, precisely how a father should talk'' said Tailor.

''W-Wait father!?'' Naofumi exclaimed.

''Yes, compliments from their fathers are important for little girls it helps them to become even more beautiful as they grow'' the Tailor explained.

Naofumi was going to say something when he felt a pulling on his shirt, he looked down to see Filo looking up at him with big eyes ''so are you my father or something else?'' Filo asked.

''Err… well…'' Naofumi didn't know how to answer while Filo was looking at him with those big eyes ''I guess I technically am…''

''Yay!'' Filo cheered hugging Naofumi who hugged her back.

''That said what kind of father are you to have your daughter walk around in just a sheet?'' The Tailor questioned.

''She's not…'' Naofumi started and then saw Filo staring at him ''I mean she isn't… look biologically she's not my… you know, she's a transforming species and needs special clothing'' Naofumi explained.

''Oh, I see, well I'm afraid you need magic thread'' said the tailor.

''We know, we can't get it right now but we intend to, can you tell us how much thread we need to make an outfit and after that I need to have a private talk with you if that's alright, it involves the order'' stated Malty as Rishia got a pen and paper at the ready the tailor told them and Rishia jotted it down, Malty then took the pad as the Tailor led them into a changing room so they could have their discussion ''alright I assume you want to make a dress right?''

''Oh yes, I think it would look adorable on her!'' The Tailor squealed.

''Do you think you could also make some underwear for her?'' Malty asked.

''Of course, I can though it will take a little bit more money and some more thread'' said the Tailor.

''Well since you're making her a dress can you also make her some underwear as well?'' Malty asked.

''Oh, of course I can, but I will need more thread for it and if you don't mind my asking why do you want underwear for her?'' The Tailor asked.

''Simple she's very bouncy and energetic and I'm worried some creep will use that to get a peak at her… private area'' said Malty, she especially didn't want one person in particular trying to peak up Filo's dress ''so I want something to protect her from that''

''Oh I see, of course I can its a simple job for me mother'' said the Tailor.

''Ok that's good to-'' Malty stopped when she realised what the Tailor had said ''wait Mother!?''

''Yes, mothers are the ones to teach their daughters about beauty and love'' explained the Tailor ''but both parents have the duty to protect their children''

Malty jumped as the changing room curtains was abruptly pulled aside and Filo stood their with the same big eyes she looked at Naofumi with ''so your my mother?'' She asked.

Much like Naofumi Malty didn't know what to say, but she then saw Naofumi, Eclair and Rishia all stood behind Filo nodding to which Malty now knew what she had to do ''yes, yes I am'' said Malty with a small smile and Filo hugged Malty much like she did with Naofumi, Malty returned the hug.

They left the tailors as they did Fohl stepped up towards Malty ''alright can we go see my sister now?'' He asked.

''Well, we do have one last stop to make, don't worry it'll make getting to her easier'' said Malty.

A couple of hours later the party was travelling down the dirt road in a wagon pulled by Filo, they were making good time because of it, Malty looked over everyone to see if anyone was feeling motion sick, to her relief it seemed like everyone was ok and Filo was really enjoying pulling the wagon.

Soon enough they made it to the Seaetto Territory and Fohl leapt out of the wagon and began to bolt towards the hospital where Atla was at, Malty chased after him with Eclair and Rishia following after her while Naofumi went to park the wagon.

He rushed inside the hospital and ran though the halls before bursting into Atlas room and there he saw his sister, sat on her bed looking alive and healthy, she teared up the moment she saw Fohl and he teared up when he saw her, Fohl stumbled towards her before he hugged her tearfully and she hugged him back, as the two siblings hugged the rest of the party stood at the door looking happy for Fohl.

Eventually the two broke apart and Fohl helped his sister out of bed before leading her to them ''sister there's someone I should introduce you to''

Sorry this took a while stuff was happening IRL I hope I didn't lose my touch for this story, so yeah sorry it took a while, I hope this chapter was good and all.

Sorry if the Tailors comments about mothers and fathers I was trying to go with her characterisation, sorry if sounded wrong.
