It was a long night for the Champions. They made sure to get a minimum amount of rest, otherwise spending what they knew to be their last remaining time in this alternate future.

Revali kept the Gale Brigade up for some late night training, of which they were happy to oblige.

Mipha stayed with Tidon as long as she could, even reading him a bedtime story.

Daruk ate a hearty meal with Rupon and Darvil.

Urbosa poured through her descendants' records late into the night.

As this went on, Link C and Zelda C were in the Post-Calamity time, assembling Mineru's Construct body.

In that same timeline, the Sages were keeping busy for their final night in that time.

Tulin trained together with Craj and discussed the Sage Medoh with Boria.

Sidon U trained his younger self as much as he could for the limited time they had.

Riju went shopping with Shirana in a fairly relaxed street.

Yunobo tried to avoid the child version of his father…

Then morning came.

POST-UPHEAVAL FUTURE

Rito Village Outskirts

"Having you here certainly has been an honor, Master Revali!" Gyas saluted, "I will remember these moments for the rest of my life!"

"I'll miss ya, Master! Though it'll be nice to have the Captain back once this is over!" Skiy remarked, "Wait til he sees how much we've learned!"

Then morning came.

"That I am. I need to return the weapons I've been holding on to to the rest of the Champions." Teba responded.

"Alright, troops! No need for long goodbyes!" Revali was in full drill mode, "Keep up your training and I'm sure you will make both Tulin and me proud!"

With that, Teba and Revali took to the air.

"That was uncharacteristic of you, Revali. I see my son's friends have grown on you." Teba remarked as they traveled.

"His subordinates… and yes. I certainly can't afford to let the Demon King do me in once I return." Revali chuckled, "After all, I intend to live a long life! Long enough to take Medali's future grandson as my apprentice! And, if I'm extra lucky, her great grandson!"

Teba almost lost his altitude at that, but righted himself, "Heh… I see… I certainly envy the Teba in your future!" He laughed.

Zora's Domain Entrance

Mipha stood at the entrance of the Domain beside Muzu and the Exalted Dorephan. These two would be accompanying her to the Gate.

Yona was staying behind, tending to the Domain and to Tidon, who could not be taken on such a risky journey.

Still, she went in the early morning to see them off, Chroma and Khira at her side and Tidon in her arms.

"It has been an honor getting to spend time with you." Yona told her, "You are every bit the gallant, kind Champion I remember!"

"And you are the perfect queen to rule alongside my brother! I hope to attend your wedding day in my own future!" Mipha leaned in to speak to Tidon, "And I shall await your birth even more eagerly than that! I hope you remember the last day fondly, Sweet Tidon!"

She backed away, ready to turn to leave when Tidon stretched out his arms toward her.

"Anmifa!" He called.

Mipha nearly teared up with joy, knowing he had just tried to say "Aunt Mipha"...

Death Mountain, Goro Cove

"I'm lucky to have been able to talk to you like this, Dad. I gotta thank Yunobo when he gets back!" Rupon shook Daruk's hand with his Zonai arm.

"You'll do more than that, I hope! Try to patch things up!" Daruk noted.

"Yeah… I know…"

"You're leaving, Mr. Daruk?" Darvil asked, looking sad.

"Yeah, 'fraid I gotta. I've got a duty to smash the Demon King with your Dad! Then he'll be home!"

"Okay… Mr. Daruk? You're just as cool as my Dad!"

"Hah! I'll consider that a medal of honor!"

With that he departed with Slergo and Offrak to the Gate.

Gerudo Desert, Kara Kara Bazaar

"Lady Riju's father?!" Buliara exclaimed as she stared incredulously at Patrick.

Urbosa had introduced him as such, but kept quiet about his disguised trips into Gerudo Town.

"Yes. I found him by going through Neleri's records. I hope you don't mind." Urbosa told her.

"Not at all! Does he… wish to meet her?"

"Very much! If at all possible when she returns!" Patrick pleaded, "I may not be much, but I want to see how my little diamond has grown!"

"To that end, I will ensure she survives her second bout with the Demon King!" Urbosa proclaimed, "For now, Buliara, let us depart!"

They would meet Link U and Zelda U at the Gate shortly after Sooga made his appeal.

POST-CALAMITY FUTURE

Rito Village

"This has certainly been an enlightening experience!" Boria gushed, "To meet my own descendant and learn so much about my ancestor!"

"Well… most of it was stuff I heard from Zelda…" Tulin noted.

"So you are off to fight the Demon King with Revali?" Craj asked.

"Yup! He's no pushover, but we beat him before, and we can do it again!"

Having said that, Tulin took off.

Zora's Domain Entrance

"You're leaving again, Teacher?" Sidon C asked.

"Indeed. I have a duty to fulfill." Sidon U answered, "Don't worry. I've taught you everything I need to! Just keep up your training and believe in yourself, just as your dear sister says to!"

He then approached King Dorephan.

"I have experience fighting the Demon King. I will ensure no harm befalls Sister."

"While that is good to hear, take care of yourself, too!" Dorephan cautioned, "You are both my children, and you have your own family to return to! Remember that!"

"Hah… you are indeed correct. Thank you…"

Death Mountain, Goron City

"You're my son. Aren't you, Mr. Yunobo?" Rupon said to Yunobo as he was about to leave.

"...Yeah… I am… sorry…"

"Why? What are you sorry for?" Rupon asked, "Seeing that my son is just as strong as my dad… It makes me proud. I have to work hard!" He seemed ecstatic. He then rolled away, determined.

To Yunobo, this unfiltered praise meant quite a bit.

Maybe I should try talking to my dad again when I get back…

Hyrule Castle Town West Gate

"It has been fun spending time with you… grandmother…" Riju was getting a bit sentimental. She had barely gotten to know her grandmother in her own time before she passed.

"Come now, I'm not that old yet! Still… it feels right…" Shirana conceded.

"Having my daughter meet a man isn't such an unpleasant thought now that I know you will one day be born because of it…" Vistro noted, "Live as you like, find your old man… remember us when you return.."

"It was an honor to fight by your side, Riju…" Shirana commented.

"Likewise…"

The Depths, Spirit Temple

"You have done well, my child." Mineru's spirit voiced to Terrako as it floated into her Construct body and activated.

"Thank you mother… here, your Secret Stone." Terrako released the last Secret Stone in its inner storage to Mineru.

Mineru turned to Zelda and Link, "This is certainly surreal. I know you've never met me, but I've met you, in a way…"

"I'm aware. Don't worry, the Zelda you know will be joining us…"

The Depths, Beneath Hyrule Castle

Crowl's heart raced. He was getting closer…

He finally managed to slip past the Sheikah guards, security lightened during the recent disturbance, and summoned his faithful Seers to follow him alongside his four Yiga lackeys…

Soon…so soon…
