"Kaeng's audio diary, entry number 15. Date: 1/9/32. Yesterday, I was finishing up a translation to send to Dr. Fin when I heard a vehicle speeding past the window. At first, I didn't think much of it, but later, when I stepped outside for some fresh air, I noticed all the vehicles were still parked in their usual spots. No signs of any new arrivals. It struck me as odd, so I decided to ask Jefferson if he knew anything about it. He looked at me like I was crazy and said he hadn't noticed anything, then suggested I check with the military on-site.

So, I did. They told me there were no patrols scheduled at that time, especially with the snowstorm raging, so it couldn't have been them.

Curious, I followed the road in the direction the vehicle had headed. After a while, I came across a crossroads. Going straight led me to a caved-in tunnel, so I turned right, and after a short walk, found something unexpected—an old bunker. But this wasn't like any of the other ruins we've come across. It didn't look old… in fact, it was disturbingly pristine. The exterior was clean, and—here's the part that really got to me—the lights were still on.

After that, I headed back, but the road seemed a lot longer than I remembered. What should have been a few minutes turned into a 20-minute walk. The walk home from the crossroads was uneventful, but I couldn't shake that strange feeling. I'm guessing my brain just went on autopilot because stuff like that doesn't happen.

sigh* I'm getting lunch, need to get this off my mind. End log."
