Hope you guys enjoyed this, I wanted to just do a birth chapter :D

The night was falling over the city, casting a soft, dusky glow through the windows of Mina and Izuku's apartment. The past eight and a half months had been a whirlwind of emotions, preparations, and anticipation. With Mina so close to her due date, the excitement in the air was palpable. Everyone in their circle—friends, family, even their colleagues was thrilled for them, eager to meet the little girl who would soon join their lives.

They had prepared meticulously, ensuring that every detail was in place, and every possibility accounted for. They were ready to become parents, and the love between them had only grown stronger as they approached this new chapter in their lives.

Mina sat on the couch, her legs propped up on a pillow while Izuku carefully painted her toenails. The task had become a bit of a ritual for them, a way to connect and relax amid the whirlwind of pregnancy.

Mina watched him with a soft smile, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. "You've gotten good at this, Deku. You could open a nail salon with those skills." Mina's cheeks were tinted red.

Izuku chuckled, glancing up at her. "I think I'll stick to hero work, but I'm glad you like it."

Mina sighed contentedly, resting a hand on her swollen belly. "I'm so excited, Deku. We're so close to meeting her. I can't wait to hold her in my arms."

Izuku's smile widened, though there was a hint of nervousness in his eyes. "Me too, Mina. We've been preparing for this for so long. I just want everything to go perfectly."

As he continued to carefully apply the nail polish, Mina suddenly winced, her hand flying to her belly as she felt a sharp movement. Izuku noticed immediately, his eyes widening with concern.

"Mina? What's wrong?" he asked, his voice tinged with worry.

Mina forced a smile, trying to downplay the discomfort. "It's nothing, Deku. Miyu's just kicking a little bit, that's all."

Izuku hesitated, his concern evident, but he nodded, trying to reassure himself. "Alright… but if anything feels off, you'll tell me, right?"

Mina nodded, her smile a little more cautious now. "Of course. I'm fine."

Izuku returned to painting her nails, though he couldn't shake the lingering worry that something might be wrong. He was almost finished when Mina winced again, this time a little more sharply. His heart skipped a beat, and he looked up at her with heightened fear.

"Mina, are you sure you're okay? That looked like it hurt," he asked, his voice more urgent now.

Mina smiled nervously, her hand instinctively resting on her belly. "Miyu's just been active tonight," she said, her voice a bit shaky. "But it's fine, Deku. Really. Maybe we should just head to bed after my nails dry. I think some rest will help."

Izuku's eyes searched hers, trying to gauge if she was downplaying her discomfort. He could see the nervousness in her smile, the way her hand lingered protectively over her belly. His instincts told him something might be wrong, but he didn't want to panic her—or himself—unnecessarily.

"Okay, we'll get you to bed as soon as your nails are dry," he said softly, finishing the last stroke of polish. "But if it gets worse, we're going to the hospital, alright?"

Mina nodded, grateful for his concern but still trying to reassure him. "Alright, Deku. I promise."

A quiet tension settled between them as they waited for her nails to dry. Izuku's mind raced with thoughts of what could happen, while Mina tried to focus on staying calm, not wanting to worry him more than he already was.

When her nails were finally dry, Izuku helped her to her feet, carefully guiding her to the bedroom. As they settled into bed, the unease from earlier still lingered in the air, but they both tried to push it aside, focusing instead on the joy that was soon to come.

Mina snuggled close to Izuku, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat as she closed her eyes. "We're so close, Deku," she whispered. "We're going to be parents soon."

Izuku kissed the top of her head, holding her close. "We are, Mina. And we're ready for this. No matter what, we're going to be okay."

It was the dead of night, the apartment shrouded in darkness and silence, save for the soft breathing of Mina and Izuku as they slept. The clock on the bedside table read 2:00 AM. The peaceful quiet was suddenly shattered by a sharp, panicked scream.

"Izuku!"

Mina's voice was filled with fear and pain, jolting Izuku awake instantly. His heart pounded in his chest as he shot up, his eyes wide with alarm. In the dim light, he could see Mina sitting up in bed, her face pale, her eyes wide with terror. She was clutching her stomach, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Mina! What's wrong?" Izuku gasped, his voice laced with panic as he reached out to her.

Mina's breath came in ragged gasps, her entire body trembling as she looked at him, her eyes filled with fear. "Izuku… the baby… she's coming… my water just broke…" Her voice cracked as she spoke, her words barely a whisper, but they hit Izuku like a freight train.

He froze for a split second, his mind reeling, but then the reality of the situation crashed down on him. Mina was in labor—this was it. There was no more time to prepare or plan; their baby was coming, and they needed to get to the hospital immediately.

"We need to go! We need to get to the hospital right now!" Izuku said, his voice shaking as he threw off the covers and scrambled out of bed. He quickly grabbed the hospital bag they had prepared, his hands shaking with adrenaline.

Mina let out a pained cry, doubling over as a powerful contraction gripped her body. She clutched her stomach, her tears flowing freely now. "Izuku, it hurts… it hurts so much…"

Izuku's heart broke at the sight of her in so much pain, but he forced himself to stay focused. "I'm right here, Mina. I'm going to get you to the hospital, okay? Just hold on."

He felt so much regret, they should have stayed in the hospital.

He rushed to her side, carefully helping her out of bed. Mina leaned heavily on him, her legs trembling as another contraction wracked her body. She whimpered in pain, her grip on his arm tightening as she struggled to breathe through the agony.

"Deep breaths, Mina. We're going to make it. Just hold on," Izuku said, trying to keep his voice steady, though he was terrified.

They made their way out of the bedroom, Mina clutching her belly with one hand and holding onto Izuku with the other. Her breathing was labored, her face contorted in pain as she fought to stay upright. Every step felt like a marathon, the contractions growing more intense with each passing moment.

Finally, they reached the front door, and Izuku carefully helped Mina into the car, buckling her in as quickly as he could. His hands were trembling, his heart racing as he ran around to the driver's side and jumped in.

He started the car, his mind racing as he tried to remember the quickest route to the hospital. The streets were eerily quiet at this hour, the city asleep, but that didn't ease the fear gnawing at his gut.

Mina let out another cry of pain, her hands gripping the edge of her seat as her body tensed with the contraction. "Izuku… please hurry…"

Izuku swallowed hard, his foot pressing down on the gas as he sped through the empty streets. "I'm going as fast as I can, Mina. Just hold on a little longer."

He kept one hand on the wheel and reached out with the other, taking Mina's hand in his. "I'm right here, Mina. We're almost there. You're so strong, we're going to get through this."

Mina squeezed his hand, her grip almost painfully tight as she fought through another wave of contractions. Tears streamed down her face, mixing with sweat as she nodded weakly, trying to focus on Izuku's voice.

The minutes felt like hours as they raced towards the hospital, every second filled with the sound of Mina's labored breathing and the pounding of Izuku's heart. The fear and urgency in the car were palpable, but so was the determination to get through this together.

Finally, the hospital came into view, its lights a beacon in the darkness. Izuku pulled up to the emergency entrance, threw the car into the park, and rushed out to help Mina.

He carefully helped her out of the car, supporting her as they made their way to the entrance. Mina winced, gripping his arm tightly as another contraction wracked her body.

"Almost there, Mina," Izuku said, his voice filled with a mixture of fear and reassurance. "Just a little more, and we'll get you inside."

As they entered the brightly lit hospital lobby, Izuku's eyes immediately darted around, searching for help. He spotted the nurse at the reception desk and quickly guided Mina towards her. The nurse looked up, her expression shifting to one of concern as she took in Mina's condition.

Izuku's voice was urgent, his words coming out in a rush. "She's in labor! We need help—right now!"

The nurse's demeanor shifted instantly to one of calm professionalism. She nodded quickly, grabbing a clipboard and speaking into a nearby intercom. "We've got a patient in active labor at the entrance. Get a gurney out here immediately!"

She then turned her attention back to Izuku and Mina, her voice calm and steady. "Don't worry, we're going to take care of you. How far along are you?"

"Eight and a half months," Izuku replied, his grip on Mina tightening as another contraction hit her.

Mina cried out, her face contorted in pain, and the nurse immediately leaned over the counter, calling to a team of nurses and orderlies who were already rushing toward them with a gurney.

"Alright, let's get her onto the gurney," the nurse instructed, her voice soothing but firm.

Izuku helped the team carefully lift Mina onto the gurney, his heart racing as he watched the nurses quickly take control of the situation. Mina's hand clutched his, her knuckles white with the strength of her grip, but he squeezed back, offering whatever comfort he could.

"You're doing great, Mina," he whispered, leaning close to her. "We're in the hospital now. They're going to take good care of you."

The nurse smiled reassuringly at Mina as she checked her vitals. "You're in good hands. We're going to take you up to the delivery room right away."

As the nurses began to wheel her towards the elevator, Izuku stayed close by her side, his heart thudding with fear and anticipation. This was it—the moment they had been waiting for, the moment they had both prepared for, yet nothing could have truly prepared them for the intensity of it all.

Mina looked up at Izuku, her eyes filled with both pain and trust. "Deku… stay with me, okay?"

Izuku nodded, his voice trembling with emotion. "I'm not going anywhere, Mina. I'm right here with you, all the way."

The nurse looked at Izuku, her expression softening as she saw the love and determination in his eyes. "We'll get her settled in the delivery room, and then you can be right there with her. Just follow us."

Izuku nodded, his focus entirely on Mina as they were rushed down the hallway toward the elevators. Every step brought them closer to the moment they would finally meet their daughter, but for now, all that mattered was getting Mina through this safely.

Izuku stood in the delivery room, dressed in the light blue nursing garb that husbands wore, his face a mix of nervous anticipation and unwavering determination as he prepared to support Mina through every moment.

The room was filled with the intense sounds of labor—the beeping of monitors, the murmurs of the medical team, and Mina's strained, labored breathing. She was drenched in sweat, her face contorted in pain as she gripped the sides of the bed, her knuckles white. Every muscle in her body felt like it was on fire, and she could barely catch her breath between the relentless contractions.

"I can't… I can't do it," Mina gasped, tears streaming down her face. "It's too much… it hurts too much…"

The doctor, a calm and experienced woman leaned close to Mina, her voice gentle but firm. "You're doing great, Mina. I know it's hard, but you're so close. You just need to push a little more. You can do this."

One of the nurses beside her nodded encouragingly, dabbing Mina's forehead with a cool cloth. "You're almost there, Mina. Just a few more pushes and you'll meet your baby girl. You're stronger than you think."

But Mina was shaking her head, panic, and exhaustion overwhelming her. "I can't… I can't…" she repeated, her voice breaking with despair. The pain was unbearable, unlike anything she had ever experienced. It felt like her body was being torn apart, and she didn't know how much more she could take.

Outside the delivery room, Izuku paced back and forth in the hallway, his heart pounding in his chest. He had wanted to be by her side, but the doctors had insisted that he wait outside during the final stage of labor due to some complications. His anxiety was a knot in his stomach, his hands trembling as he walked in endless circles, listening helplessly to the muffled sounds of Mina's cries and the urgent voices of the medical staff.

Inside the room, Mina let out a strangled sob, her entire body shaking with effort. "Please… I can't…"

The doctor's voice was more insistent now, but still soothing. "You're almost there, Mina. Just one more big push. Think of your baby girl—she's almost here."

With tears streaming down her face, Mina gritted her teeth, drawing every ounce of strength she had left. This was the hardest thing she had ever done in her life, far beyond anything she had faced as a hero. Every fiber of her being was screaming in pain, but she knew she had to push through it. For Miyu. For Izuku. For herself.

With a deep breath and a final, agonizing effort, Mina pushed with all her might, her scream echoing through the room as the pain reached its peak. The world around her blurred, her vision darkening at the edges, but she kept pushing, her entire being focused on this one moment.

And then, suddenly, it was over. There was a sharp cry, a sound that broke through the haze of pain and exhaustion. It was her baby—Miyu.

But before she could see her, before she could hold her daughter, Mina's vision went completely black. The pain faded, replaced by a cold numbness that spread through her body. Her head fell back against the pillow, her eyes fluttering closed as she lost consciousness, collapsing from the sheer effort of it all.

The delivery room was filled with urgent voices as the medical team worked to stabilize her, but Mina was no longer aware of any of it. She had fallen into a deep, dark abyss, where time and space seemed to have no meaning.

When she opened her eyes again, she was surrounded by darkness, an endless void that seemed to stretch on forever. Panic gripped her heart, and she began to cry, the tears falling freely as she looked around, seeing nothing but the inky blackness.

"Am I… dead?" she whispered to herself, her voice trembling with fear. "Did I… die?"

Suddenly, she felt a gentle touch on her shoulder, and she spun around, gasping in shock. Standing before her was an older woman, her presence warm and comforting despite the strange surroundings. She had soft, kind eyes and a serene smile, her silver hair framing her face like a halo.

"Grandma?" Mina whispered, her voice shaking. "Grandma Isana?"

The older woman nodded, her smile widening as she reached out to embrace Mina. "Yes, my sweet girl. It's me."

Mina clung to her grandmother, sobbing into her shoulder. "Am I… did I die? Am I dead?"

Grandma Isana shook her head gently, pulling back to look at Mina with those kind, wise eyes. "No, Mina. You're very much alive. You just went through something incredibly difficult, and your body needed time to recover. But you're not dead."

Mina's breath hitched as she tried to process what her grandmother was saying. "But… I don't understand… Where am I? What is this place?"

"This is a place between," Grandma Isana explained softly. "A place where you're resting before you return to the world. You've been through so much, but you did it, Mina. You gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Izuku is so proud of you, and he's waiting for you to come back."

Mina's eyes widened as her grandmother's words sank in. "Miyu… I had the baby…?"

Grandma Isana nodded, her smile filled with warmth. "Yes, my dear. You brought a beautiful new life into the world. And she's perfect. Just like her mother."

Mina's tears flowed again, but this time they were tears of relief and joy. "I… I did it…"

Her grandmother reached out, cupping Mina's face in her hands. "Yes, you did. And now it's time for you to go back. Izuku is waiting for you, and so is your little girl. You're stronger than you know, Mina, and they're both so lucky to have you."

Mina nodded, her heart swelling with love for her family. She hugged her grandmother tightly, feeling the warmth and comfort of her embrace. "Thank you, Grandma… I love you."

"I love you too, Mina," Grandma Isana whispered, her voice soft and soothing. "Now, go back to them. They need you."

The hospital room was a flurry of activity and tension. The heart monitor beside Mina's bed beeped steadily, a reassuring sound in an otherwise chaotic scene. But despite the steady rhythm of her heartbeat, Mina's eyes remained closed, her body unmoving. The doctors and nurses worked quickly around her, their faces masks of concentration and concern.

In the background, the soft cries of a newborn filled the room—Miyu, their beautiful baby girl, was alive and well, but her mother had yet to wake. Izuku stood just outside the room, his heart pounding in his chest, his mind a whirl of fear and anxiety. He had been told to wait, but the uncertainty was killing him. He needed to see Mina, needed to see his daughter.

He couldn't wait any longer.

Without thinking, Izuku pushed the door open and stepped into the room. His eyes immediately landed on Miyu, who was being cradled gently by a nurse. Her tiny face was scrunched up, tears spilling from her eyes. But then his gaze shifted to the bed, and his heart nearly stopped.

Mina lay there, her chest rising and falling with each breath, but her eyes were still closed. She looked so peaceful, too peaceful, and the sight of her so still filled Izuku with a deep, gut-wrenching fear.

"What happened?" he asked, his voice trembling with panic.

The doctor, a calm and compassionate woman, turned to him with a soft, sympathetic tone. "Mina fell into a coma after the delivery. It's not uncommon in cases of extreme exhaustion, but her heart is strong, and we're monitoring her closely."

Izuku's mind spun the word "coma" echoing in his thoughts, threatening to overwhelm him. How could this have happened? They had been so close, and now, after everything, Mina was lying there, unconscious, unable to see the daughter they had both waited so long to meet.

But before the panic could fully take hold, something miraculous happened. As if sensing his presence, Mina's fingers twitched, her hand moving slightly. Then, slowly, her eyelids began to flutter, and she let out a soft, weak breath as her eyes opened.

"Mina…?" Izuku whispered, hardly daring to believe it

Mina's gaze was unfocused at first, but then she blinked, her eyes finding Izuku and Miyu. A small, tired smile crept across her lips as she lifted her head weakly, her voice barely a whisper. "H-Hey… sorry… for scaring you guys."

Izuku felt a wave of relief so intense it nearly knocked him off his feet. He rushed to her side, his heart swelling with love and gratitude. "You don't need to apologize," he said, his voice thick with emotion as he kissed her cheek gently. "I'm just so glad you're okay."

Mina winced slightly, still sensitive from the ordeal. "Owww… I'm still sensitive, you know," she teased softly, a hint of her usual energy returning.

"Sorry," Izuku murmured, his eyes shining with unshed tears.

The female doctor, who had been watching the scene with a kind smile, stepped forward, cradling the now-calmer Miyu in her arms. "Would you like to hold your daughter, Mina?"

Mina's eyes lit up, and she nodded weakly, her arms trembling slightly as she reached out. "Yes… I want to see her… I want to see Miyu…"

The doctor carefully placed Miyu in Mina's arms, the tiny baby still whimpering softly. But as soon as she was nestled against her mother's chest, she began to calm, her little cries quieting as she looked up at Mina with wide, curious eyes.

Izuku knelt beside the bed, his hand resting on Mina's as they both gazed down at their daughter. "She has my green hair," he said softly, a hint of pride in his voice.

Mina looked at Miyu's tiny face, noting the bright, sparkling eyes that were so much like her own. She blushed, her heart swelling with love. "And she has my eyes and skin," she whispered, tears of joy brimming in her eyes.

Mina looked up at Izuku, her voice filled with wonder and exhaustion. "She's perfect, Deku… she's perfect."

The weight of everything they had been through melted away. Izuku leaned in, his heart full of love and relief, and pressed a short, sweet kiss to Mina's lips. It was a gentle, tender moment, filled with all the emotions they couldn't quite put into words.
