A/n: Ignore my mistakes.

The next few days, months felt like bliss to Julio. He was spending every single second of his school time in the company of his best friend, yes, his best friend Trinity. They had a lot of same likings and thinking. From music to food, they loved the same things. A happy glow was visible on Julio's face and this transformation of his has impressed everyone. Even, his parents although they never said anything to him were very happy because Julio was talking with them now every chance he gets.

The most important thing is that Julio has not done anyone's work since the day Trinity stood up for him nor did anyone have bothered him. Trinity being director's daughters had done numbers on them.

"Julio, you have to say 'no' once." Had said Trinity to Julio jokingly as they were having lunch together.

"I would but nobody asks for anything anymore, thanks to you." Joked Julio as well. Julio was not his shy self around her. He has started initiating conversations with her as well. They laugh all day along, sometime even so much that they stomach hurts from all this laughing.

It was all good, too good for Julio which was making him paranoid. Julio was embracing for something bad to happen, he had this gut feeling but he tried to store this feeling away; far away in the trenches of his heart. However, there was always something that keeps bothering Julio. Its about Trinity; ever since that day her health has been declining, she was becoming frail with each passing day. The coughing has become worsen; she would cough for like several minutes straight. Julio is very concerned for him but Trinity always him not to worry.

"Its just some allergies." She would laugh it of whenever Julio bought this topic up. He would try to speak but she would divert the topic away to something else. Deep down Julio knew he should be worried; he should make Trinity tell him if she was really sick or something. But he never really talked about this matter for long, deep down he doesn't want to hear the truth. What if the truth is hard to hear? This thought made him sick to his stomach, so he remained intentionally stayed oblivious to this matter.

It was almost midterm; the examinations were looming on the student's heads like a threat. For Julio they were piece of cake. Everyday of the class, there was stress, tension, and fear in the rooms. Many students were worried about the examinations. In all of this, one thing that has never happened before happened with Julio. Once, a girl came over to Julio, Trinity gazed fixed on her.

"Hey Julio can you help me with this chemistry question." The girl said to Julio. She genuinely needed his help and it was first time someone had asked Julio for a 'real' help. As expected, Julio's introvert nature was about to get better of him, he was just about to deny that Trinity spoke up.

"He will surely help you." Julio glared at her; he didn't want to talk to anyone expect her. Trinity nudged him a little bit, laughing a little and the girl was actually very happy with that response. Once, Julio had explained the query in a simple way to the girl she had must have thanked him ten times. Julio never had felt like this before; he was happy and feeling proud of himself, he had just awkwardly said no problem every single time the girl had said thank you. This made Trinity laugh so hard. The very next day, another group of girls came for the help, and the other day few boys came. Julio had become like tuition teacher of the classroom. Everyone was making efforts to talk to him because his aid was very crucial in these times.

Julio had never imagined he would be in such a limelight in the class. Doing other people's work, being scared of them seemed like a distant memory to him although a few months have passed. This is all because of Trinity. He could never thank her enough. If not for her that day, he can't even imagine now how long this bully have continued and how long he could have endured it. He feels like he owes Trinity his life.

"You will always be my friend Trinity, I mean always." He had once said to her. "I will not lose you." Trinity smiled after listening to this, but there was something else hidden behind that smile that Julio couldn't pinpoint.

"I mean don't give me the whole credit; it was you as well. If you wanted to be bullied you could have." She said in a sarcastic way, "You were the one that wanted to change and you did. I was just a catalyst that helped in the process." She went serious mode. Julio agreed to everything she said. He wonders how a person his age like Trinity was so mature. Trinity was a kind of person that would put her friends' priorities in front of hers. Julio was ready to do the same.

Finally, the day of the exams were here. Julio and Trinty's chemistry and physics exam went completely fine. They would discuss the question paper. Trinity's English exam didn't go as smooth as the others and she was infuriated. Julio found her tantrum quite funny.

But all was not good, Trinity was turning pale with each passing day. She would say that it was due to stress of the examinations.

"As I have openly announced that I am director's daughter, if I don't pass with good grades classmates would kill me." she had said. "I go on hours and hours studying late at night that is why she has become like this." She wouldn't let Julio argue about this topic and every time he was the one to face defeat and not talk about it. Julio would console himself by saying, 'if shes saying fine she must be.' Everyday he prayed for her well-being.

Finally, it was math's exam which was the last one, after this a two-week break was waiting for the students. Julio was excited to get this done with. As he reached the examination hall, he sat on the table revising some formulas. Trinity was not there yet which was not like her. Usually, she was one of the first ones to reach school. 'She must have woken up late sue to all that study she does.' Thought Julio. The math's exam was done, Julio did well but his face was flushed with fear. Trinity never made to school that day.
