"Rocket, it's bedtime and thekits have to get ready for sleep." Rocket heard Nebula saying. "Ummm Nebula once he starts a project, he won't go to bed until he makes major headway or finishes it. Don't you know that by now, Nebula." Rocket Senior told her. It was evening and almostthe baby raccoons's hedtine however Rocket was busy inventing and wearibg safety goggles which made him look adorable only Nebula needed him to switch gears from inventir mode to parent mode right now making Rocket Senior chuckle at this because sometimes, he'd been like that in the past inventing making Nebula understand.
"I know but I need him in parent mode not inventor mode. Do you have any tricks to calm Rocket down." Nebula told Rocket Senior as the big, fluffy male raccoon was playing with Ranger which was helping him and the baby raccoons wind down for bed, the playtime helping them get their wiggles out for sleeping knowing that Rocket also needed help calming down for resting too understanding what Nebula was asking him. He wonderedwhyvRocket was in hardcore inventor mode unaware it was to do with his son's inventor heroine, Jykee La Route and Tech-Con which Nebula knew about.
"Hmmmmm just let him invent as it might help him get his wigglesoht like playing with Ranger and the baby raccoons is helping them relax for bed." he told her.
Nebula sighed as she heard the baby raccoons yawning making her and Rocket Senior chuckle softly, as theywere leading them to their room along with Ranger telling them stories, which was adding to the calm vibe they were feeling kissing their furry heads seeing them out like lights leaving the room closing the door gently seeing Rocket there not wearing safety goggles and yawning relieving Nebula guessing Rocket Senior's theory had been right knowing Rocket's brain wasalways thinking so inventing helped him get his mental wiggles out so was drinking milk not coffee because that would wake his brain up which he didn't want plus he had to set a good example for the baby raccoons when it comes to sleep seeing Rocket Senior nodding in repky.
"That's good you're sleepy as I was concerned that you'd be up all night inventing, Rocket." Nebula said seeing him roll his eyes at her.
"I know but Jykee asked me to come up with something for Tech-Con and I didn't want to let her down." Rocket told her making Nebula get it hearing him yawning as he was following her to their room getting into bed but conking out making Nebula smile at this kissing his furry head. "Attacboy as you need sleep for that genius brain of yoyrs to function plus Jykee will get it." she whispered into his furry ear before she fell asleep.
The next morning, Rocket heard soft chirps along with feeling lil paws opening his eyes seeing the baby raccoons cuddling around him and Nebula plus they'd bit his furry toes like every morning which made Nebula smile, because it was sweet seeing Ranger there too knowing Rocket Senior would be curious as ti where Ranger was finding him there with Nebula and Rocket seeing the baby raccoons surrounded around them. "Yes, this is normal every morning pops and Ranger wanted to join in our morning snuggle ritual." Rocket told him making Rocket Senior smile.. He had no idea his grandkits loved snuggles first thing in the morning including Ranger making Rocket smile.
"Well, I think it's adorable as Ranger seems to love it too." he told them as they were getting up as the baby raccoons and Ranger scampered off to the kitchen as they went to thekitchen making themselves coffee while the baby raccoons were being entertained by Rocket Senior as Nebula saw Rocket feeding them and saw Ranger being fed by Rocket Senior which Rocket found adorable seeing them calm but Rocket's phone was going off making Rocket Senior facepalm at this swiping his phone making Rocket annoyed and Nebula surprised by this.
"Why would you do this, what if Jykee calls me." he asked her. "She knows you're a daddy so gets you're busy with our kits." Nebula told him. Rocket Senior was curious about what his son had did to be friends with Jykee La Route making Rocket sigh. "I'll tell you later dad, right now, I need to tend to the kits like Nebula said.":he told him seeing Ranger tackle hug him making Nebula giggle along with the baby raccoons which Rocket Senior found adorable getting Ranger off Rocket seeing him hug him making him chuckle.
"Atta boy, and getting used to things here like me." he told him.
