Nico-
Nico di Angelo had a vibe from him that everyone steered clear from. He was distant, cold, and a loner. Some say weird and others say outsider. Nico didn't care though, he places on his headphones and escapes the world, he doesn't need them. He doesn't need anyone. He's fine. Teachers were obvious to the bullying and his grades were good so no one bothered him. But it's all a ruse, get good grades, you be on the teachers good side, don't get into fights, you'll be on the teachers good side. Just be in line. And don't talk back.
Nico had a issue with authority, people say. Nico had a mother who died to young and a father who didn't give two shts about his son, people say. People say he will die a drunk. People say, people say, people say. Nico was sick of it. He's not his father so people shouldn't worry. He's not that low yet. He doesn't do drugs besides cigarettes or alcohol, even though everyone says he looks like it. So what if he's in a gang? Doesn't make him a criminal.
People gossip too much, for his liking of course. He just floated to class to class, writing in his free time, doing his school work, and avoiding the human race. He doesn't need them anyway. Except of course Reyna and Jason. His only friends. Reyna is a girl boss, student president and a raging lesbian. Jason is our straight ally who is the mom friend always telling me not to jump off of cars and Reyna to stop telling people to kneel before her. They're in the gang with me, but no one knows that.
Jason is golden boy, he plays rugby, gets good grades, the perfect boy next door. He had a girlfriend but turns out she doesn't swing that way and left him a few days ago. He's heartbroken but still supportive of her, there good friends. When I need a couch to crash or a meal, he's always there for me. Reyna is and forever will be the queen of our school, everyone fears her and that's something I can respect. She doesn't date anyone because she thinks people are useless and annoying. Reyna forever will be my sister even not by blood. We walk together in the halls, we stand by each other in a fight, and sure as hell are each other alibi.
Nico di Angelo meets Will Solace again, not a chance encounter at Hestia's Dinner, a real meeting. Nico di Angelo was outside his trailer smoking a cigarette, his dad was asleep inside. It was canned soup, silence, and anxiety for dinner again. And all he wanted to do was take a joint to relax, it was the only thing that could do that besides writing his story and photography. He loved to take pictures of landscapes and broken things, a broken toy or a chair with one leg. He has a collage in his room.
Will Solace was checking out his new home. A trailer park. He didn't mind it living in a trailer with his mom, he even enjoyed it at times since it didn't feel so big and empty. Will then passed a trailer that stood out to the rest, he didn't knew what it was at the time and still today it was a mystery. Will stopped and admired it from the rocky road that was built for cars to drive around the circular area.
The trailer was like his own, the porch was even smaller at that. It was grey and had two windows, one large with the curtains drawn, and the other smaller that peers into a small messy bedroom. There were trash cans at the bottom of the stairs and a sign that said GO AWAY. But Will was drawn to it. At the moment a teenage boy slowly opened the white door and walked out into the inky darkness. He was dressed in a purple flannel, a white baggy tee shirt, suspenders, another flannel at his hip and baggy jeans. He pulled out something from his pocket and cradled it in his hand. A small light appeared and Will called out to the stranger.
"You know smoking kills people?" He spoke clearly, calmly. He didn't know what he felt but it was close enough to confidence. The guy, Will couldn't see his face, took a long drag from the cigarette and blew out into the air.
"Don't tell me what to do." He barked. Will walked into the trailers flood light. If looks could kill...he thought. He would be dead.
The boy had translucent pale skin, Snow White would envy. His features were sharp, pointed, like a witch. His eyes were large creamy milk chocolate eyes with splashes of yellow and green. His lips were thin, pink petals. All littered with bruises and cuts. Will didn't want to gawk but the kid took another drag.
"Um. I'm new here." Will called out. "What's your name stranger?"
"What's yours?" He countered, he leaned against the wooden railings. Chin in his palm. He stares lazily at me.
"Will Solace. Im in a trailer that a way." Will gestured out to the darkness.
"I honesty don't care." The stranger smirked.
"What's your name?"
"Hm. Nico."
"No last name?"
"Not a last name to be proud of." Nico admitted, honestly. There was an aura around this boy, Will thought. Something that allures him, like a sweet candy or a drug. It pulls you in and then it gets addicting. He also had a tense stature like constantly he's ready to fight, always on the move.
"Fair." Will shrugged. "Well. I can't stay to late. See ya later."
"Alligator."
