Training Camp (Morning)

While the rest of his classmates pushed themselves to their limit to hone their Quirks, Dominic was tasked with something he was admittedly a little scared of. Removing his shoes, he walked into a small pond that went halfway up his knees. The acidic liquid struck his Aura, stinging his very soul. "Let's go." he told Tiger, one of the Wild, Wild Pussycats.

Aizawa decided that the best training for Dominic was to have him spar with Tiger in hand-to-hand combat while standing in a small body of water. The Eraser Hero had seen firsthand that his student had a very particular fighting style, using his Quirk to battle from a distance. When that wasn't an option, he pulled a sword from thin air and fought using that. But the blonde had never once used his own fists in combat, which was the point of this exercise. It would also help increase his durability in water.

Taking a breath, Dominic took his stance. Even though he preferred not to use his fists, when he did, he used a fighting style that Master Mustard taught him and his Urshifu. The Single-Strike Style, a style that focuses on waiting for an opponent to reveal a weak point and then striking it with all of your power. As someone with the musculature of a volcano, it was the perfect fighting style for Dominic to use.

He spread his legs and raised his arms, bracing for his opponent's coming attack. Tiger completely surprised him by stretching his arm so that he could punch his back while he was still in front of him. After taking a moment to analyze the hero's abilities, Dominic copied his opponent and threw a punch that was enhanced by his magic physiology. He used tar to stretch his arm far beyond what a normal human would be capable of. Instead of merely punching him, though, Dominic coiled his arm around Tiger's body and restricted the feline hero's movements.

With the man in his grasp, Dominic pulled his target close and threw a punch that landed directly in Tiger's abdomen. The strike dealt immense damage to the hero, but the effort used to execute it caused the blonde to spit up magma and fall to the ground.

"Impressive work, Xiao-Long!" Tiger said, quickly grabbing the student and lifting him out of the pond. "It isn't easy to keep me trapped like that."

"Let's just say I have some experience with that kind of thing." Dominic said, looking around the training ground.

Camp Building (Night)

After his session with Tiger, Dominic joined the rest of his classmates as well as Class 1B to have dinner. However, there was a small, yet important caveat.

"As I said yesterday, we won't be cooking for you anymore." Pixie-Bob said, standing in front of a large table covered in a wide assortment of ingredients.

"If you want to eat, you'll have to make your own food! Today, you'll be making curry!" Ragdoll exclaimed. "You might all be exhausted, but don't think you can just coast by making sloppy cat food! You gotta be able to train and work hard, then make a decent meal afterwards!"

"I understand." Iida said. "An important part of being a hero is to keep civilians calm after a crisis. This is a great opportunity, class! Let's all strive to make the best curry in the world!"

Dominic was silently laughing to himself. Thanks to his adventures in Galar, he was uniquely suited for this particular task. He returned to his room and got his backpack, receiving a large bronze pot and a glass jar with a red substance inside. He set it down on the ground and got the metal frame ready. Once everything was in place, he rushed to the ingredients table and got only what he believed was needed for this dish. He didn't take much, which confused a few of his classmates, as well as the Wild, Wild Pussycats.

Using his magic and Scarlet Showstopper, the blonde was easily able to dice and heat up the veggies before pouring them in the pot along with the sauce he made. Once everything was ready to be stirred together, Dominic added the final ingredient, a sprinkle of the red substance he brought with him from the Galar Region. He then got a ladle and began stirring. The scent attracted some of his students, who were enraptured by this bizarre new smell. After a few moments, he was done and added his concoction to a plate of rice. The end result was two massive portions of curry that had a reddish glow to them.

"Woah, what is that?" Sero asked, amazed.

"It's called Gigantamax Curry." Dominic explained as he took a bite of the colossal dish. "I used a special ingredient called Gigantamix to make it."

"Gigantamix?" Midoriya asked, curious.

"It's a rare ingredient from the Galar Region, a small country in the UK." Dominic lied. "I had some left over from when I explored that part of the world."

"Wait, you've been to the UK!?" Yaoyorozu asked, incredulous.

"Yeah, among other places." the boy said, thinking back. "My parents travel a lot for their job, and I tagged along sometimes when I was little."

"What kind of work do your parents do?" Mineta asked, curious.

Dominic wasn't sure about how to answer that. After a bit of consideration, he decided to tell the truth. "Well, you could call them freelance heroes."

"Your parents do hero work?" Todoroki asked.

"Uh...not exactly." the boy answered. "They travel to small towns without much of a presence and lend their aid. It's usually small stuff like helping people cross the street or pest extermination." If those pests were soulless monsters, that is. "But when push comes to shove, they are able to protect people."

"You're kidding." Kirishima said. "That's so manly!"

"Yararara!" Dominic said, grinning. "I have them and my uncle to thank for teaching me the basics of fighting." He spawned a dozen fireballs in the air. "My Quirk's versatility can be attributed to how they taught me. I'm eternally grateful for that."

Galar Region

An area of the Pokémon world famous for the Dynamax Phenomenon and the Gym Challenge. Curry is a staple dish there, and ingredients can be found in the Wild Area. The Legendary Pokémon Eternatus, which is responsible for the Dynamax Phenomenon, is considered the most important part of this region's culture.
