Chapter 16

Mid afternoon, the day after Zenki regained his true form, at Shikigami-chou.

"Well, we will go home after having a last look around searching for possession seeds or beasts, Zenki, Gokimaru!"

"OK, Chiaki!"

"Alright, Chiaki-sama!

They were about to start their look around when they heard the cries for help of two teenagers...

"KYAAAA! Help!""Help, there's a monster!"

"Hold on, these girls are Ako and Sayaka! Girls, what happened?"

"There was a creep spying on girls at the gym, and when our gym class confronted him, he turned into a tentacle monster!"

"OK, girls we will try to exorcise it, Don't worry! "

Zenki, Chiaki and Gokimaru then went in the direction of the cries.

"Chiaki-sama, I'll transform first and investigate our enemy, the possesion beast, OK?

"Akasha On!"

"Don't come near, Chiaki-sama, Zenki! It oozes a substance that dissolves clothes and its stench is incredible, it could make you faint!"

"Well then, Zenki, we'll put to the test what we've been practicing these past weeks"

"Vajra!" "Ikazuchi yo!" "Raikouga!"

The dragon made of light and lightning hit the jellyfish mixed with starfish beast just in its open maw and exorcized it instantly.

"Chiaki-sama, please seal the seed, I'll be busy healing the girls of the burns and calming them down!"

"OK, Goki!" "Zenki, don't look down, I'll let you eat the seed at the shrine!"

"I'll do it your way now, Chiaki, if I transform the stench will be worse with my enhanced senses!"

They left the possessed creep in his catatonic state, as nobody cared about him.

After Goki healed the girls, he transformed back into his human form, and joined Chiaki and Zenki for the trip back to the Enno shrine.

"By the gods, today's possession beast was truly disgusting, Zenki, Gokimaru!"

"True, Chiaki-sama, but the worst was its stench, I barely managed not to vomit in my kishin form, and Zenki in his kishin form has an even better sense of smell!"

"Well, at least attacking from a distance worked, it smelled bad even from there!"

At the Enno Shrine...

"Saki-baasama, today we encountered another possession beast, it was a tentacle monster that attacked teenagers with an ooze that dissolved clothes. It had an incredibly bad stench. I provided a shield for Chiaki-sama and Zenki, just in case, and they exorcised it from a distance using a combination attack, Raikouga. We have sealed the seed, and Zenki will eat it later."

"Well done, you three, but I have a question for Chiaki and Zenki-dono. Have you thought about your wedding?"

"Well, the truth is baachan, we haven't thought about it, we've just become mates last night!"

"Me too, Saki-baa, I was thinking about not botching our mating, not about human ceremonies!"

Later, at the Enno Shrine's onsen...

"You should build up more stamina, Chiaki!"

"I have stamina, but it is human stamina, not inhuman stamina like you have for being truly a kishin!"

"It may be right, since I've regained my true form I have more energy and I tire less easily."

After a good long soak at the onsen, and after dinner, Chiaki and Zenki went to sit in the porch.

"Ne, Zenki, what do you think about marriage? Baachan wants us to marry, but I don't want you forced into it, like you were forced to obey my orders at first..."

"Saki-baa gave me a good reason for marrying and not only mating, she said that if we weren't married, someone else could think we were free to be with them, and there would be a bloodbath if either of us went into a jealous rage!"

"As for me, as long as we are mated, I don't care for additional ceremonies, we can have them or not, but the important thing is that we're together."

"Well, then we'll have a wedding to keep baachan happy but we'll keep the ceremony small and only with the people we care for!"

At the Kidou Shrine, that night...

"Today we saw a possession beast, father, it was like a cross between a jellyfish and a starfish, a tentacle monster that oozed a slime that smelled awful, even from a distance!"

"What happened then?"

"The kid with Chiaki and her boyfriend turned into a blue kishin, and then Chiaki and her monster of a boyfriend shot a lightning attack that looked like a dragon, which we have seen them practicing, and exorcised the beast with one blow. Then the kishin started healing the girls which had burns from the clothing dissolving ooze of the beast, and after that they went back to the Enno shrine, all in human form."

"Having more possession beasts in town is worrying... we may have to depend on those three to get rid of them!"
