The Soulbond

Chapter 18
The night after Chiaki, Zenki and Goki encountered Kurogarasu, two weeks after Zenki was turned into a human:
"Ne, Chiaki, are you up for another round of mating?" "We can do it any way you want... do anything we both enjoy."
"Yes, this time I want to start slow, and link our minds while we mate... I want to feel you connected to me in body, mind and soul!"
"I'd like to do it this way too, it's very enjoyable when our souls touch each other!"
The two of them started making love, with a rhythm that increased the pace of the action very slowly, while they linked their minds.
.:Ne, Chiaki, this feels amazing!:.
.:I feel very good too, Zenki!:.
They continued the slowly increasing pace for a while, working towards a mutual climax, while a red aura surrounded them, and when they reached it, the soulbond was visible again, like a red rope that connected their bellybuttons. Along the bond, there were small flames and lightning that travelled towards Chiaki's abdomen, and then, after a couple of minutes disappeared again, leaving Zenki and Chiaki stunned.
"Zenki, what the hell just happened?"
"I have no idea, I guess we'll have to ask Gokimaru tomorrow, and see if he has any idea of what the hell that was!"
"Well, we can't do anything right now about it, so I would like to sleep in your arms again, Zenki, You make me feel safe."
The next morning...
"Ohayou, Zenki."
"Ohayou, Chiaki, ready for the day?"
"Let's get washed, dressed and ready for breakfast, we'll ask Gokimaru-kun about the bond after!"
They devoured their breakfast like they were in a race to finish it, and when they were done... they said in unison:
"Gokimaru, we have something to ask you, can you come with us for a moment?"
"OK, Zenki, Chiaki-sama."
They went into the main hall of the shrine and Chiaki started telling him what happened:
"Tonight, we were mating with our minds connected, and when we reached climax, the bond became visible again, and there were small flames and lightning surrounding it, and they went towards my abdomen and disappeared after a couple of minutes. Do you have any idea of what that was?"
"No, right now I don't know what happened, but I'll turn into my kishin form and do a deep scan of your body with my healing powers."
After Gokimaru turned into Goki, he passed his glowing hands all over Chiaki, pausing over her abdomen, and he suddenly gasped and told Chiaki and Zenki:
"Looks like we'll have to do the wedding ceremony soon..."
"Eh, why?"
"Goki, what the hell?"
"Congratulations, you're going to be parents... and it's twins!"
Chiaki and Zenki fainted.
When Zenki and Chiaki recovered from the effects of the surprise they asked Goki about it:
"How it's possible that I'm pregnant, we just became mates a few days ago!"
"It looks like that you became pregnant after your first night of lovemaking with Zenki, Chiaki-sama, and the soulbond stabilized because of that. Today, the bond must have transferred your souls' hidden strenghts towards the foetuses, I think."
"Makes sense, they would be protected by our strenghts, Goki."
"Looks like we'll have two little oni in our hands in nine months time, Zenki, I hope they aren't as difficult to make them behave as your child form!"
"Urusee, Chiaki!"
After the talk they had with Goki, Zenki and Chiaki went to sit on the porch and started to speak mind to mind.
.:It seems unbelievable that we're going to be parents so soon, Zenki!:.
.:True, Chiaki, but I think that if they're like us they would be a handful, but good kids in the end!:.
.:I hope so, being half kishin, half human is not going to be easy in this day and age!:.
.:We'll help them to be strong enough to face anything!:.
After lunch Zenki, Chiaki and Gokimaru went outside in front of the shrine and started meditating, searching for any enemy presence, without any luck in finding it that day.
"Zenki, Chiaki-sama, since today we haven't located any enemies or possession seeds today, how about we go to town to get you two measured for your wedding kimono? You'll have to select the fabrics you want and the style you prefer."
"Well, if we have to... we'll do it, Gokimaru-kun!" "Zenki, if you manage to go through it without losing your temper, I'll turn you back into a kishin for a while when we go back, and you can eat one of the possession seeds we've collected."
"Really, Chiaki?"
"I promise, Zenki!"
"Thanks, Chiaki, you're the best mate I could wish for!"
At the tailor's shop...
Zenki was bored, really really bored. He already had had his measurements taken. The tailor had had to step up a stool to take his height and shoulders' measurements and the other measurements were done more quickly.
-Think of Chiaki's reward! I need to behave to get it!-
"Hi, Zenki, I'm done too, Chiaki-sama still has to select the kind of wedding kimono she wants, and the brocade design she likes most, so we'll have to wait a little bit more..."
"Kuso! I'm so bored..."
"Try to meditate, it'll help with the boredom, and help to pass the time faster.
"I'm done, Zenki, Gokimaru-kun, I see that Zenki has kept his side of my promise, so I'll turn Zenki into a kishin as soon as we reach the forest!"
"Thanks, Chiaki"
At the start of the forested area...
"Vajra On Aku!"
Zenki, in his kishin form, grabbed Chiaki, and held her in his arms gently.
"Gokimaru, turn into Goki, we'll go faster that way!"
"Akasha On!"
The path became a blur, and they were back at the shrine in a flash.
"I'm going to get you the possession seed, wait a minute!"
"Here it is, Zenki!"
"Oishii!"
"Ne, Chiaki, I'll turn back into a human, and I want to sit on the porch with you in my arms."
"I'd like to, today has been full of happenings, and I want to relax a bit with you!"
The two of them sat peacefully on the porch, embracing and enjoying being together.

This chapter has been very difficult for me to write due to a mix of writer's block and real life being a pain, but I finally managed to string scenes into a coherent chapter. I hope you enjoy it, it's full of plot!
