In Shredder's dungeon, Miwa was in her cell once again trying to escape with a metal coin she had, she heard a door open and saw Fishface walk to her cell with a bowl of rice.
"Well, if it isn't the Sushi I ordered." Miwa said with a smug smile sitting casually.
Fishface grumbled and placed down the bowl. "Ugh, and whatever that is." Miwa said in disgust looking at it. "Can't you lay some masago for me?"
"This is a dungeon, not a bed and breakfast, you will eat whatever I bring!" Fishface said in annoyance.
"You mean whatever Tigerclaw tells you to bring." Miwa countered.
Fishface snarled, "Ugh, if Master Shredder didn't need you, I would teach you some manners!" He said while clutching the cell bars.
"Oh really? And what does he need me for?" Miwa asked suspiciously.
"Just watch your tongue, Karai, Rgh!" Fishface said in frustration and walked off again.
Miwa used the coin and sawed at the bar again, then she finally got a bar loose enough that she broke it off and used it to open the cell door. Miwa looked around for a moment, making sure the coast was clear before she opened the door to escape.
She broke the lock off the next door and was about to run until she heard a growl and felt a hand throw to the ground and saw Tigerclaw above her.
"Where do you think you're going little one?" Tigerclaw asked menacingly, Miwa tried using the bar as a weapon to hit him, but it barely fazed him at all, he grabbed the bar with his hand and kicked her to the wall.
Tigerclaw bent the bar before Miwa delivered a kick to his face, knocking him back. Miwa leaped in the air and tried to finish him off, but he countered her attack and held out his claws until someone came in.
"Tigerclaw, stop!" Tigerclaw looked up and saw Kitsune approaching with a serious look, "You were ordered not to harm her." Kitsune said strictly.
"My apologies Kitsune." Tigerclaw said respectfully as Kitsune looked down at the unconscious Miwa.
A bit later, Miwa had woken up again in her cell, this time she had chains restraining her arms and Kitsune behind her.
"Karai. I wish you could understand." Kitsune said solemnly as she took off her mask revealing her face. "While I'm still in disbelief that Master Shredder took you from Hamato Yoshi, you must know that everything he has done is for our clan's honor, why do you insist on walking this path?" She asked but Miwa said nothing. "Have you nothing to say to me, Karai?"
That question was enough for Miwa stand and to turn to the woman, "My name…is…MIWA!" She shouted with rage.
In the lair, they are looking at the makeshift planning of Shredder's lair while figuring out a way to rescue Miwa. "This is the only way it can work, Raph." Leo said to him.
"Yeah, I'm on board for the whole rescuing Miwa thing," Raph admitted, "But if we're going through the whole trouble of invading Shredder's lair, we gotta take him down once and for all!" He said seriously stabbing his Sai down.
"Way too risky." Olly said while moving his arm around. "The last time we tried, I barely survived his Sato-Oshi Strike. I can still feel it."
"Which is why we must avoid conflict as much as possible." Naomi stated.
"Aww, and here I was hoping for a fight," Jenny complained.
Mikey was slurping noodles before noticing something, "Hold up, dudes." Mikey said after eating some noodles. "Why do Ames and I have to be the bait while Tal and Donnie are sitting safe in the Shellraiser?" He questioned.
"Someone's gotta be the getaway driver and navigator for the mission." Donnie said to Mikey.
"And what's gonna stop us from getting our shells kicked by a robo-fish, zombie wolf, or Australian falcon?" Ames questioned.
"Okay, enough!" Vee called out, breaking apart the fighting. "Everyone is important here."
"Disagreement about a mission is never a good way to begin." Splinter said as he walked in. "Leonardo, Olivier, May I speak with you two?" He asked as the two nodded and walked up to him. "I know you all are anxious to free Miwa, but a plan that leads to a confrontation with the Shredder is doomed to failure." He said seriously.
"Which is why we planned it so we can avoid confrontation as much as possible," Olly said, "We get in, grab Miwa, and get out. Plain and simple."
"Yeah, Sensei. Even if we're to face Shredder, isn't it worth it to rescue your own daughter?" Leo asked his father.
Splinter said nothing for a moment before turning to them, "I am not willing to risk your lives, or my daughter's." he said firmly as the two turtles looked down as Splinter entered the kitchen.
"Hai, sensei." Leo and Olly said as they walked back to the others.
Ames twiddled her thumbs, "So, is that a no-go on Operation: Rescue Miwa?" She asked in concern.
"No. We continue on." Olly said firmly. "Splinter could be wrong since he's worried about his daughter. We can't wait any longer."
"Then it's agreed, we do this tonight." Vee declared.
"Let's do this!" Jenny called as they all brought their fists together and went off to rescue Miwa.
At Shredder's lair, the Shelldraiser is parked out behind the lair while Tal and Donnie are at the monitors. "Donnie, Tal, you two monitor from the Shellraiser and give us some cover." Leo started as the two smart turtles cut the powerline as the lights in Shredder's lair went off.
Inside the lair, Koya, Fishface, and Rahzar are in the throne room before the power goes off. "Mikey and Ames will distract Koya, Rahzar, and Fishface with their mad skills." Olly spoke next as the two turtles hid in the shadows while they looked around.
"While Shredder's henchmen are distracted, the rest of us sneak in through the sewers." Leo added as he and the others entered through the sewer line of the lair as they entered the dungeon hallway and took out the Footbots as they rushed into the cell room.
"This the cell block the Spy-roach saw Miwa," Naomi said, "Check every cell, she must be here,"
The six started inspecting cells for the girl, "Guys?" Miwa called as they turned to her with smiles while Miwa gave a playful look. "Took you guys long enough." She said playfully.
"Well, we got tired of waiting for you to escape on your own." Leo teased back.
"And from what we're seeing, it's not easy sneaking out of your house, huh?" Olly teased.
"Can we play 'Tease Your Sibling' after we get out of here?" Raph questioned.
"Ease up, Raph." Jenny said to him. "We'll leave before they see us."
"Just keep an eye out for Foot and Shredder." Leo said as he took out his lock-pick and started picking the lock.
Outside the lair, the shadows of Mikey and Ames taunted the three Foot mutants as they chased the two across the roof.
Eventually, though the three crashed into each other, Koya looked up and saw Mikey and Ames making shadow puppets as he two blew raspberries. "Hope you all enjoy the show!" Ames commented as she and Mikey moved to the other side.
"By dingo, it's a trick!" Koya yelled out in shock.
Back in the dungeon, Leo finally manages to unlock the door. "Got it!" He said as he opened the door. "Let's go!" he said as they all rushed down the hallway.
Miwa then noticed a sword piercing a Footbot and grabbed it, "How did you get past Tigerclaw and Kitsune?" she asked.
"They didn't!" Tigerclaw called out as they saw him and Kistune in front of them.
"You turtles really thought that we wouldn't know you would try and take Karai?" Kitsune questioned as the seven heroes all glared at the two Foot Warriors. Tigerclaw and Kitsune gestured for them to come as the turtles drew their weapons and charged at the two, but they were knocked back by their hand-to-hand combat as Miwa jumped at them.
On the roof, Ames and Mikey are still fighting the three Foot Warriors. "You are looking good Rahzar? You lost some weight?" Mikey asked as he barely dodged another slash from him, Mikey used a slide attack which kicked him right off the edge of the roof, and Mikey clenched his arm in pain.
"Mikey!" Ames called as she avoided a flying swipe from Koya, but she threw her whip at her leg, she pulled her towards her before kicking her off and she landed on Rahzar. She then rushed to Mikey. "Are you okay?" She asked in concern.
"I'm fine, but Rahzar got my arm good." Mikey said while clutching his arm from the pain before the two turned and saw Fishface.
"Let's see how well you fight with one arm!" Fishface said as he spun his butterfly knife.
"Well, at least we got two things you don't have!" Ames taunted while slapping her leg.
"Burn!" Mikey smirked.
Fishface snarled, "Oh, I'll bite your head off for that, Chica!" he called as he charged at the two with a screech.
In the Shellraiser, Donnie, and Tal are still monitoring as they hacked into the cameras and saw the others fighting Kitsune and Tigerclaw. "Donnie, Tal, we could use the cavalry!" Olly called out.
"We're on it!" Tal said as she typed on her computer, "Donnie, is that new sonic blaster ready?"
"It should be." Donnie said. "I hope this dog whistle works on cats and hopefully Kitsune isn't good against six turtles and one kunoichi!" He hoped as he pressed enter.
In the dungeons, the others were being taken down with ease by Tigerclaw and Kitsune before a sonic blast of a high pitch whistle blasts through which caused Tigerclaw to roar in pain and cover his ears and also distracts Kitsune long enough for the turtles to knock them down.
As they ran, Miwa gave the two fallen enemies, one last look. "This isn't over, you two." She said firmly before she followed the turtles.
On the roof, Ames and Mikey are still fighting Fishface while Mikey is doing his best with one arm before Fishface slashes him off the roof. "Mikey!" Ames yelled before she jumped down and grabbed Mikey by his good arm before using her whip to grab Fishface's leg and pull him down with them as he skidded across the wall, slowing their descent as he was dragged down with them as he used his butterknife on the wall to slow the fall.
Mikey kept screaming while hanging onto Ames before Ames spoke. "Mikey, it's okay. We're at a safe level." She said as Mikey opened his eyes and realized she was right.
"Oh, sweet." Mikey said as they dropped to the ground as Ames retracted her whip and rushed off before the two gave him a raspberry while the Fishface snarled at them.
The other half of the team got out from a manhole cover as they went to the front of the lair, looking out for any guards before they saw Ames and Mikey coming from around the corner, Ames nursing Mikey's injured arm, "Are you two okay?" Jenny asked in concern.
"I'm fine, but Rahzar scratched Mikey's arm," Ames said as Raph went up to Mikey.
"I'm good. It's not my water-balloon-throwing arm." Mikey waved off before he cringed. "Ow!" He cried and slumped over Ames.
"It's okay. We'll get you patched up in the lair." Olly assured, helping Mikey stand. "Let's get out of here before the Foot have the chance to-" He was cut off when some Footbots surrounded them as they drew their weapons before Tigerclaw and Kitsune came out from the main entrance, "Aw, sewer apples," He grumbled.
"Surrender, reptiles!" Tigerclaw called as he spun and aimed his blasters at them.
"Even with your skills, you are all outnumbered, and one of you is wounded." Kitsune added as the Footbots advanced towards them.
Tigerclaw gave a confident laugh before another high-pitched whistle sliced through the air, causing him to roar in pain and cover his ears again, "Better count again!" Tal called as the Shellraiser mowed down the Footbots and skidded next to the Turtles and Miwa, "Get in, hurry!" She said.
"Sweet timing, DT," Mikey complimented the smart turtles as they all piled into the Shellraiser.
Miwa looked up and saw Shredder standing on the roof, looking down at her, "Miwa, let's go!" Vee called as she grabbed Miwa's arm and pulled her inside the Shellraiser before they drove off.
"No!" Kitsune yelled in rage before turning to the Footbots, "Don't just stand there you worthless tin-cans! Get them!" She ordered, pointing to the Shellraisers as the Footbots raced after it.
As the Shellraiser rolled down the streets, the Footbots caught up to it. They landed on the roof and started drilling into it but Leo turned the wheel, slamming the Shellraiser into some cars that got them off while Tigerclaw and Fishface followed on some motorcycles with some other footbots, while Koya was in the air as they raced after them, which Raph noticed.
"Okay, who forgot to load the manhole covers?!" Raph questioned the others as Mikey pointed to Donnie, who glared in annoyance while Raph growled angrily.
"The Trash cannon is still loaded though!" Jenny pointed out.
"Let's hope it's enough!" Vee called as she then started firing the trash cannon and knocked down some Footbots, but Tigerclaw, Fishface, and Koya dodged while the two mutants on the bike started firing their blasters, causing an explosion in the back as they stumbled back.
"That's all you've got!? Balls of trash?!" Miwa questioned the turtles.
"Hey, we lived in a sewer, Miwa, you think we all have rocket launchers?!" Olly retorted.
"Don't worry, this baby's still got a few tricks in her." Donnie said as he started typing and set the settings to 'Smoke Screen' as some dust formed from the back, which made the three Foot Warriors cough before Donnie switched it to 'Pizza Grease' as the bikers slid across the road and tumbled. Tigerclaw took to the air with his jetpack as Fishface crashed on the side of a building and saw both Tigerclaw and Koya flying over him.
Back in the Shellraiser, the Turtles and Miwa saw the Footbikes had crashed and there was no sign of Koya, "Okay, I think we lost them," Tal breathed out in relief as the other slumped back, just as relieved.
"That wasn't a bad rescuing." Leo commented, but then, a blade stabbed through the Shellraiser, right in front of Miwa before Tigerclaw pulled the hatch open and Koya reached a Talon in and grabbed the girl. "Miwa!" He called as Raph tried to grab Miwa but was too late as she was thrown to face the two mutants glaring at her.
"We have you now!" Tigerclaw said as he powered his blasters.
"Just so you know, this ain't nothing personal!" Koya called and readied her feather daggers as Tigerclaw began firing at Miwa, who dodged them before she made her shoes extend some spikes to get her a better balance on the Shellraiser as she charged at the two mutants and started fighting.
Inside the Shellraiser, the others are having trouble getting the hatch open while Vee checks the map, "Leo, the Dragongate is a few blocks away, do you think," She started but Leo finished.
"Way ahead of you!" Leo said as he steered the Shellraiser towards the Dragongate.
Back on the roof, Miwa kept avoiding the two mutant assassins' strikes as she knocked Tigerclaw's sword away and knocked away Koya's daggers as she gave them punches but was unfazed by her attacks as Tigerclaw elbowed her down before Koya tossed her to the front.
Leo flipped a switch as the claw at the front of the Shellraiser caught Miwa as Tigerclaw and Koya looked ahead and saw the Dragongate in front of them, "Aw Crikey!" Koya exclaimed before they smacked to the Gate and fell off the Shellraiser.
"Eat that, Birdy Cat!" Mikey called as the turtles cheered while the two mutants tried to get up but were knocked unconscious by some broken tiles.
The Turtles managed to get Miwa back inside as she sat down in silence before she spoke up. "Guys… Leo, Vee,..." She started looking at the Blue and Cyan clad turtles.
"We know, Miwa." Leo said with a smile. "You're not good at saying thank you."
"Which is similar to how Raphael is." Naomi said with a small smile.
"True." Raph said with a conceding shrug.
"And there's no need to say it, that's what family's for," Vee said with a warm smile as Miwa gave a small smile back.
Olly then walked up to Leo, "Alright, Leo get us home, before Tigerclaw and those other goons get their second wind," He said, gripping onto the back of the seat.
"Aye-Aye," Leo said as the Shellraiser went through the secret entrance to the sewers.
Back in the lair, the others flopped onto the cushions in exhaustion while Tal brought out a med kit for Mikey's arm. "Okay, that was pretty close," Jenny said as she sat down.
"But was definitely well worth it," Donnie commented while drinking some milk.
"I hope this means you'll stay. After all, you are family." Leo said to Miwa as they walked in.
"With Shredder after me, what choice do I have?" Miwa asked with a small smile as she looked around. "It's actually… not bad."
"It's awesome, right?" Mikey said as he stood up with his arm bandage. "This calls for a family hug! Bring it in!" He called before his arm cringed. "Ow!" He cried as he clutched his arm.
"I wouldn't use that arm too much, Michelangelo." Naomi advised. "It will take a bit of time for it to heal."
"Noted." Mikey groaned.
"Michelangelo, what happened?!" Splinter's voice spoke as he walked up to the others while noticing Mikey's arm was bandaged up.
"It's just a scratch, sensei." Mikey assured him with a smile while the other turtles looked nervous. "You should see the other guy." jerking a thumb behind him.
"What have you all done?" Splinter questioned as Mikey moved aside. "I thought I told you…" He was about to scold them before he saw Miwa among them, holding her arm while giving a solemn look. "Miwa." He breathed stunned.
Miwa walked up to her father slowly before she hugged him. "Father." She said with her voice wavering. Splinter was stunned before he returned the embrace as the turtles looked on with warm smiles at the family reunited.
"You see, Sensei. Our plan work." Leo said with a smile while Splinter stroked Miwa's hair.
"Despite a few 'snags', it went like a charm," Vee mentioned while Mikey held his arm.
"Perhaps some things are worth the risk." Splinter said with a smile while looking at his daughter, glad that she was safe.
Olly however gave a slight frown, remembering how Shredder attacked them when they last went to his Lair but he didn't even try to stop them from leaving with Miwa, 'What are you up to Shredder?' He thought to himself, thinking their enemy was plotting something.
In Shredder's lair, Tigerclaw and Koya kneed before Shredder and Kitsune. "Please explain to me how the greatest huntress and most deadly assassin in the world failed to capture one girl from a group of inexperienced young turtles?!" Kitsune demanded in outrage while Shredder remained silence.
"We almost had 'em until those blokes slammed us right into that gate and by the time we got our heads back on, they were long gone," Koya explained shamefully.
"We have scoured the city, but we've been unable to sniff out the turtles. Or Karai." Tigerclaw said in guilt.
"Spread the Footbots to every inch of the city, turn over every rock until you find even a trace of where those Kappa are hiding!" Kitsune ordered.
"You will do no such thing," Shredder said calmly as the three turned to him in surprise.
"Master Shredder?" Kitsune asked in surprise.
Shredder stood up from his throne and walked past them, "Karai's escape was inevitable. In fact, I was counting on it." Shredder said to them.
"Wait, you knew something like this would happen?" Koya asked in surprise.
"Then why allow the Turtles to escape? Karai knows everything." Tigerclaw said about Miwa knowing everything about the Foot.
"Before long, Karai will return with Hamato Yoshi and his wretched turtles to finish what they started." Shredder explained, knowing Miwa well enough to know that she would return to finish them off. "But I will have my vengeance!" He declared as he turned to them. "Get me Baxter Stockman." He ordered as thunder and lightning clashed.
In the dojo of the lair, Miwa watched the turtles train with each other as they clashed weapons with Splinter beside her as Mikey avoided Leo's strikes even with one arm as Leo tried to strike him with a yell while Leo turned to remember that Miwa is watching as Mikey rolled around on the ground while making strange noises.
"Come on, Mikey. Focus." Leo said as he swiped his weapon at him as Leo drew his second sword and Mikey kept avoiding the swipes before he slapped Leo on the face before Leo kicked him back, which struck his arm.
"Oww!" Mikey said while holding arm, "Dude!" He said to Leo with teary eyes.
Leo realized his mistake, "Sorry, I didn't-!" Leo was cut off when Mikey threw a water balloon at his face.
"Oh, yeah, son! Never underestimate the water balloon arm!" Mikey cheered as he moved around Leo while humming to himself as Miwa giggled at the action while Splinter rubbed his head tiredly as Leo blushed in embarrassment before he growled and charged at Mikey."No, no! Dude, wait! Ow, my arm." He said before Leo tackled him down.
While Raph and Donnie were sparring, Leo and Mikey crashed into them and before long the four brothers were rolling around the Dojo floor while punching and kicking each other. The girls and Olly watched their New York friends roll around as they stopped sparing. They looked at each other before shrugging then jumped into the fray.
"Is this how training always goes?" Miwa asked in amusement while Splinter shook his head tiredly.
"Yamei!" Splinter yelled, which got their attention as the turtles stopped fighting and stood up. "My children, that is enough for today." He said as he walked off a bit while they bowed their heads.
"Hai Sensei," they all said and filed out of the Dojo but Vee noticed Miwa was staying still.
"Hey, Miwa, you coming?" Vee asked.
"In a minute," Miwa said to them as Vee left the room, leaving the father and daughter alone.
"Not what you expected?" Splinter asked his daughter without turning to her.
"I will admit, it's a little weird being with… people I was told were my enemies only to find out they're my family." Miwa said as she looked at her family picture. "What really happened between you and Shredder," She started while looking down. "...And my mother?" Miwa finished as Splinter gave a small sigh.
"I'm afraid it runs much deeper than our rivalry over your mother," Splinter said looking back at her as they sat down, and he prepared for them some tea and told her a story, "The bitter feud between the Hamato and Foot Clan lasted centuries, and it was only brought to end when Hamato Yuta, you're grandfather, slayed the Foot Clan's Leader Oruku Kiji, Shredder's father," He revealed as Miwa's eyes were wide in attention, "Saki was just a child when his father fell. So my father gave him shelter. We were raised as brothers, and rivals in all things as brothers are. But that rivalry soon turned bitter when we met Tang Sheng, your mother." He said with a sad frown. "Jealousy became hatred when Saki learned of his true heritage. He swore vengeance and rebuilt the Foot Clan. One night, Oroku Saki struck. The blow that was meant for me struck your mother instead." He said as Miwa's eyes widened in horror about what happened to her mother. "Shredder blamed me, and in his rage, he burned our home to the ground, leaving me to my fate. He took you away from me." He finished with a solemn face.
Miwa looked off to the side, glaring while gripping the carpet in rage at what Shredder did, "After all this time haven't you ever wanted revenge?" she asked her father.
"After all this time, I have learned revenge only leads to more pain." Splinter said solemnly.
"But I've seen you fight, father." Miwa said, remembering the time when he and Shredder fought during the first Kraang invasion and the other times. "You could take him out!"
"We are safe here." Splinter said softly as she poured some tea. "And we are finally together again, daughter. That is all that matters. Not revenge." He said as the two stood silent and they shared tea together.
Once it was time for bed, Leo, Vee, and OIly were about to go to bed, but then they stopped when they looked at the dojo and saw Miwa laying on a spare bed. "Miwa, are you okay?" Leo asked as Olly sensed something off as them gestured for Leo and Vee to follow him as they nodded and closed the side door.
Miwa opened her eyes and sneakily went out the entrance before Olly spoke. "Going after Shredder alone is a bad idea, Miwa." He said as Miwa looked up and saw him and Leo up. "Trust us from experience." He said as he, Vee, and Leo jumped down.
"Don't try and stop us, guys." Miwa said to them.
"We wanna go with you." Leo said, which surprised Miwa.
"What?" She asked in surprise.
"You're right, Shredder will never stop hunting us," Vee explained, "The only way we can be safe is if we take him, The Foot, and the Kraang down,"
"But we can only do it together," Olly finished.
"So much of my life has been about revenge, I don't want you three to risk your lives, too." Miwa said to them.
"Miwa, we've risked our lives more times than we can count." Vee said to her.
"Like our last fight with the Shredder, we almost had him if he hadn't used the Sato-Oshi Strike on me." Olly said while rubbing his chest. "If we get him by surprise and prevent him from using that move, we might have a chance to stop him."
"So we're going with you." Leo finished firmly as Miwa looked at them for a moment.
Olly then grabbed her by the arm, "I'd think twice before using that flash powder if I were you," He warned.
Miwa's eyes widened as she looked behind her and saw the powder bomb in her hands, "Okay, you are good," She said.
"That is why I am the future chief of the tribe of my island," Olly said with a smirk. "I always have to be aware of these things." He added.
"It's true. Everytime we always try to throw a surprise party on his birthday, he always figures out what we're doing." Vee said with chuckled.
"Wait, seriously?" Leo asked in surprise.
"What? I can't help it if I'm that good." Olly said with a shrug and a smirk.
"Well, if you're that good, then you won't see this coming." Miwa said as she held her breath and brought out another pellet.
"Cover your eyes!" Olly called as they did just that, but when they breathed in the dust Miwa tossed at them, they started coughing and feeling dizzy. "Ugh… sleep… gas…" He muttered as he fell to his knees.
"You might've thought I would thrown another powder bomb, that this time, I had a sleeping pellet for emergencies." Miwa said as she stepped back from the dust.
"M-Miwa… You can't…" Leo muttered before he lost consciousness as did Vee and Olly as they fell to the ground.
"Sorry, guys. I appreciate the help, but I can't let Shredder take more of my family away." Miwa said as she went down the subway tunnel. "This ends tonight! For my mother!" She called as she rushed to the surface.
Sometime later, the three turtles are still knocked out while Olly is on his back while Leo and Vee are sleeping close to each other before Olly gets his bearings as he opens his eyes. "Okay, I gotta predict the trick's trick." He muttered while rubbing his head.
Vee and Leo woke up as they looked at each other and realized how close they are as they got up with blushes as they started stuttering to each other with sheepish looks before Vee spoke nervously. "Uh, that's…"
"So.. that happened." Leo said sheepishly.
"Yeah… B-but, let's not tell the others about this." Vee suggested.
"Agreed." Leo quickly said.
"Uh, I hate to break up this embarrassing moment, but Miwa is gone!" Olly pointed out.
"What?!" They exclaimed as Splinter and the others came to them.
"Leonardo, Venus, Olivier, what happened? Where's Miwa?" Splinter asked in concern.
"She's gonna take out Shredder on her own." Leo answered as Splinter looked down in guilt.
"I was a fool. I fear I told her too much, too quickly." Splinter said in shame.
"You thought you were giving her closure, Sensei." Naomi said to him. "She wanted to know, but I believe she's gonna avenge her mother."
"We have to stop her!" Olly called as they rushed off.
"We can catch up to her in the Shellraiser." Donnie said as Splinter followed after them to go stop Miwa.
On the surface, made her way back to Shredder's lair and was outside, she sliced off the heads of more foot bots and was quietly sneaking in, she saw what looks like the Shredder on his throne like always. But when she got close, she saw it was a decoy.
"Karai." Shredder announced as he came out of the shadows.
"Shredder." Miwa said with anger, the mech suddenly activated and restrained her.
"You returned here sooner than I expected." Shredder said Miwa broke free of her restraint and stabbed the robot in the chest knocking it down.
"The time has come for me to say goodbye, murderer." Miwa said, holding up her blade. Miwa flipped on over and threw a smoke bomb in his face which he blocked, Miwa jumped in the air and tired slashing at him, but Shredder blocked her attacks and pushed her back. She tried attacking him over and over, but Shredder kept blocking until he caught her sword.
"Foolish child! I taught you everything you know, you hold no surprises for me!" Shredder said as he tossed her sword away. Miwa threw some ninja stars at him which Shredder deflected away. Shredder saw they bared the Hamato symbol and screamed with anger and he punched her in the head and knocked her down and pinned her to the ground. "This has gone far enough!" Shredder said as the lights came on revealing that the entire foot clan was waiting for her.
"Still no sign of the turtles." Tigerclaw reported.
"But we are certain that they will follow," Kitsune added.
"Just as I planed, take her to Baxter Stockman, it's time we begin the experiment." Shredder said tossing her to him and he walked off.
In the Shellraiser the turtles and Splinter saw the Foot driving away from their lair. "They got Miwa! We're too late!" Olly called.
"Raph! Fire up the weapons!" Leo called.
"No! It's too dangerous." Splinter said to them. "Follow close, but don't let them spot us." He ordered.
"You heard Sensei. Otherwise we might hurt Miwa in the process." Olly said in agreement. "Follow them but keep your distance." He said as Leo did just that.
In Stockman's old lab, there were some animals around as he looked at his supplies. "Whatever you require, I can create it. More mutagen, a few chemicals, and some-" Stockman-Fly said while mixing some chemicals.
"Stockman!" Shredder's voice called as Stockman-Fly yelped and accidentally knocked an orange chemical into a beaker as the two mixed together while sizzling.
"Oops! Um, That zzzhould be okay." Stockman-Fly said nervously as the Foot came in. "Mazzzter Shredder."
"Is the mutagen ready?" Shredder questioned as Stockman-Fly took the beaker.
"Created you to spezzzifications," Stockman-Fly said, flying up to the vat of mutagen and pouring it in, "The Zzzerpent DNA is ready," He said.
Kitsune's eyes widened, "Wait, Serpent DNA?" She asked while turning to Shredder, "Y-You wouldn't."
"You're going to mutate me?!" Miwa demanded before Tigerclaw duct-taped her mouth.
"Make sure she's secure." Shredder ordered as the Footbots tied Miwa to a cage over the vat with her arms and legs restrained.
"You are more ruthless than we thought. Mutating your own cub!" Tigerclaw said in shock.
"My lord. don't you think this is over the line?" Kitsune asked in concern.
"I have no intention of mutating her. She is merely the bait," Shredder said as he grabbed a rat by the tail. "When the Turtles attempt to rescue her I will drop them into the mutagen. This will mutate them into mindless serpents." He explained while tossing the rat into a cage with a snake as outside the Turtles prepared for battle, "I want Splinter to watch his own pupils become one of the rat's deadliest predators, then his spirit is broken, I will shatter his body," He finished as the Snake devoured the rat.
Tigerclaw then sniffed the air. "I smell the rat." He said as he raised a blaster pistol and fired a shot, which glowed in the ceiling as Splinter jumped down as the turtles joined too as they stomped on Koya and Stockman.
"Welcome, my old friend," Shredder greeted Splinter mockingly.
"Let my daughter go," Splinter ordered seriously.
"You are welcome to rescue her… if you can." Shredder said as Miwa tried to speak, but her mouth was still taped up as the Footbots appeared around them as Splinter and the turtles drew their weapons and charged into battle as Shredder drew his blades as they clashed with each other.
"Yes! Fight me, rat!" Shredder called while raising his blades while the turtles fought the Footbots as they took them out one by one but then, Donnie, Tal, Mikey, Raph, Ames, Naomi, Jenny, and Vee were caught in cages while Splinter was getting tied up by the Footbots.
Leo and Olly were about to get caged up, but Olly managed to move out of the way while Leo used his sword to keep the cage from closing as he made it out. "Ah! Its a trap!" Olly yelled out.
"Figures saving Miwa wouldn't be that easy!" Leo called as he kicked a Footbot away.
"Leo, get Miwa down! I'll rescue Splinter and the others!" Olly called as he fought his way through the Footbots while Leo nodded and sliced a chain to get himself up to Miwa.
"Hang on, Miwa!" Leo called as he was on top of her cage and removed the ducktape.
"Thanks." Miwa said with a smile as Leo returned the gesture before Shredder jumped up behind them.
"Leonardo!" Splinter cried out as Leo turned and avoided a swipe from the Shredder, but he accidentally cut the chains as Leo and Shredder flew to the side while Miwa screamed as she fell into the mutagen. "MIWA!" HE yelled out.
"Karai! NOO!" Shredder yelled out in complete horror at his mistake as they all looked in shock as the cage was flung out and they saw something slithering in the mutage as Shredder looked in it and saw something coming out. "Karai." He said in despair as Miwa managed to weakly crawl out of the mutagen before she started falling.
Splinter yelled as he cut himself free and jumped in and caught Miwa and held her, she was now a snake mutant, a two-armed white and purple-armored serpent with green eyes, a long tail, snakeheads instead of hands, and her armor was fused into her skin.
"Miwa…" Splinter sadly said as he held his mutated daughter. "My child…" He said as Miwa's tail moved and she hissed before she whipped at him repeatedly before she started attacking the Footbots.
"Well, at least she's on our side," Ames said optimistically.
"But for how long can she keep her mind intact? Let's not find out." Olly said as he and Leo ran to the others as Leo sliced a Footbot before trying to get them free.
However, a bucket of oil spilled out as the bot sparked up and lit the whole lab on fire as it started to explode. "No! My lab!" Stockman-Fly cried out before he was then swatted away by the Shredder.
"You Hamato Yoshi!" Shredder yelled while drawing his blade while Splinter glared at him. "You did this!" He yelled as he was about to attack him, but the ceiling collapsed between them. "No!"
Kistune then ran up to him. "Master Shredder, this whole building is about to collapse! We must go!" She called before Shredder pushed her back.
"Leave me!" Shredder yelled.
"Splinter will suffer for has happened today. You have won!" Tigerclaw stated.
"Won?!" Shredder questioned as he looked up to Miwa, who was hissing as Shredder removed the front part of his helmet and looked down for a bit before looking up. "I shall avenge you, my daughter." He vowed as he and the Foot rushed off before Kistune took one last look at Miwa before giving a guilty look.
"Karai, forgive me." Kistune muttered before she followed the others before the path collapsed.
"We gotta get out of here!" Donnie cried out.
"Not without Miwa!" Leo called out as they looked up to Miwa.
"I don't know if she'll hear us out!" Vee said nervously.
"Miwa, you must listen to me! We must go!" Splinter called to his daughter as she hissed at him and wrapped her tail around him as she squeezed him. "Daughter! Please." He wheezed.
Miwa kept hissing at him before her eyes widened. "Father?" She hissed as she looked at Splinter for a moment before she slithered off at high speed and shot venom at Raph's face as she ran past him.
"Miwa, wait!" Olly called as he and Leo followed her through the roof while Tal looked up and the Mutagen tank and then at a stray empty canister on the ground.
Once Olly and Leo made it outside the rain was pouring down and saw Miwa was already gone.
"Okay, easy, Raph." Jenny said as she poured some medicine for the venom Miwa spat at him.
"Ah! Enough, Jenn!" Raph said as he waved his arms. "I can see fine now." He assured as Olly and Leo came to them as they turned to Splinter, who is looking out to the city as Vee came to them.
"This is all our fault, Sensei." Olly said in guilt.
"We should've stopped her when we had the chance." Leo added.
"We should've talked her out of it or reasoned with her before this." Vee finished in sadness. "We're sorry, Sensei." She apologized, but Splinter just stood in silence.
"Sensei?" Leo asked him in concern.
Splinter did not turn to them, "We should go home, my children," He said while turning away, his tone borderline with sorrow.
The turtles all had their heads low, as they turned to leave, "Well, I managed to get some of the mutagen that turned Karai," Tal said solemnly, holding up a canister of mutagen from the vat.
"You two can use that to make a Retro-Mutagen for Miwa, Right Donnie?" Mikey asked his brother hopefully.
"You did before you can do it again, can't you?" Ames asked too.
"We have the formula, but making it will take a large amount of time." Tal sadly said. "Especially with the low amount of mutagen in the city."
"We have to try Tal, for Miwa's sake," Donnie said while holding her shoulder.
"We saved her once, we can save her again," Jenny said in determination, "If Miwa was here right now, and saw us moping around, she'd kick our butts and tell us to get right back to work."
"Jenny's right, we can't give up," Olly said as hope started coming back to the Turtles, "We will cure Miwa, and when we do, Shredder, Kraang Prime and all their goons are going down!" He declared, slamming his fist into his palm.
The others all gave determined expressions as they brought their fists together with serious looks. "For Miwa?" Leo spoke up.
"For Miwa." They all said together as Splinter looked at them with a grateful smile.
Meanwhile in another part of the city, Miwa slithered onto a rooftop before flopping down. She then focused hard as her body then shapeshifted back into her human form and her scaly skin returned to it's normal color before she opened her eyes, which still has her slit green eyes as she hisses while showing her snake fangs, Miwa may have escape, but she was now changed into something much more more than a normal mutant.
