In New York, a thunderstorm raged while the Footbots were standing guard in Shredder's Lair. Beneath the Lair, in Stockman's lab, Shredder approached a terrarium and looked at the inside as he narrowed his eyes. "Olivier, I will finally acknowledge you as a truly mighty warrior, to have forced me to go this far," Shredder said with a touch of respect.
Inside the terrarium, Olly was hooked up to a table, strapped down with a Mouser helmet on his head, covering his eyes, connected to a tube that was also connected to a container of the Brain Virus that flowed down the tube and to his head as Olly grunted as his Hamato Ninpō markings glowed, trying to fight the mind control process but would occasionally flicker, showing signs Olly's resistance was weakening.
"Soon, I will destroy Splinter and the turtles with their greatest warrior as the harbinger of their suffering," Shredder said to Olly. "Rest my boy, your time of vengeance will be soon at hand."
Bebop and Rocksteady then approached Shredder, "Um.. uh Mr Shredder?" Bebop asked nervously.
"What is it?!" Shredder questioned turning to them.
"You uh.. called for us sir?" Bebop replied as he and Rocksteady rubbed their hands in worry.
"I sense the Hamatos are soon to make another move soon." Shredder informed while looking to Olly, "Double security, and be ready for them." He ordered menacingly.
"We are on it!" Bebop said, giving a salute of respect.
"Dah! kid freak turtle ninjas never get past Bebop and Rocksteady!" Rocksteady said confidently that they could win.
"Do not fail me!" Shredder ordered as the two bowed their heads and quickly left to prepare while Shredder took one last look at Olly in the chamber as the Green-Clad Turtle panted heavily as his marking flickered more quickly before they disappeared and he strained in pain before slumping his head down…. a sinister smirk appeared on his face.
At Turtle Island, Mikey and Ames were watching Crognard as he faced the giant rock creature, which he went from the rear end before he shattered the creature into pieces from the inside. "Yes! Crognard is the fun explosion master!" Mikey shouted in joy.
"A bit weird, but funny," Ames said while a bit weirded out.
"Don't think about it too much," Mikey said to her. "Guys! You gotta see this ep-" He was cut off when he and Ames noticed no one was around them. "Guys?"
"They must be in the lab," Ames suggested as they stood up. "Let's go. I think they are planning something."
Ames and Mikey entered the lab where they saw the others with a makeshift diagram of Shredder's lair. "I say we go full frontal assault! We bash our way in, take no prisoners!" Raph said seriously as they were coming up with a plan.
"Remember last time we made our way in? We couldn't even go through the front door!" Leo pointed out, rejecting that idea.
"Remember, the plan is to rescue Olly, not take Shredder down!" Vee told Raph.
"And even if we could, we might get caught up in a fight that will force us to retreat," Naomi said while rubbing her chin. "If Olivier is anywhere in Shredder's lair, he could be either in the dungeon or in Stockman's lab."
"But with the added Footbots and guards, we'll never make it inside," Jenny said in thought. "I'm all for a fight, but with Olly's life on the line, we have to be careful."
"All we need is better stealth!" Donnie called with a smile and a finger raised. "Which leads me to present my latest invention..." He said dramatically as they turned to see…a dumpster and a bunch of garbage.
"What's with the mess?" Leo asked, not looking impressed.
"That's my latest invention." Donnie said with a smile. "The Mark-X1 Experimental All-Terrain Urban Stealth Vehicle!" He declared.
"You invented…a pile of garbage?" Jenny asked while cringing at the smell.
"That's the point, guys; it's supposed to blend in perfectly with, um, the other trash liberating New York City," Donnie said as he pushed a gnome's head down to the toilet. "Come on, let's test it out!"
"I thought you were fixing the Turtle Mech, how's this thing gonna help us?" Leo asked, looking at it with a confused look.
"Look, guys, if you wanna break into Shredder's lair, this baby's the thing to use. Not some giant lumbering robot they can see from a mile away." Donnie pointed out as some cockroaches crawled on the stealth vehicle. "The foot will never see us coming!" He said confidently until they heard a flushing sound and saw Mikey was on the toilet.
"Dudes, it's got full flushing action, nice," Mikey said, impressed which made them all slap their faces.
"We are not getting in that thing," Vee stated as she walked up to the stealth vehicle, "Especially since all I have to do to destroy is this," She then tapped her foot on the vehicle before it fell apart.
Donnie's jaw dropped when he saw that. "Eh, how did you…?!"
"You don't need prediction powers to know that this thing isn't even put together right," Vee said with a smirk. "I mean, we have the stealth bike and the next best thing you got is this?"
"Heck, even my Raph Giant is more stealthy than that," Raph said with a smirk as Donnie groaned.
"Okay, we get it, mystic powers are awesome," Donnie said in annoyance, "If anyone has any better ideas on how we break into Shredder Lair would you just spit it out already?"
Mikey then made a mocking noise, "Someone's being a Mr. Grumpyshell today," He teased Donnie.
"Ah don't worry guys," Leo assured before giving a grin at Donnie, "Donnie's just bummed that he still hasn't unlocked his Hamato Ninpo like the rest of us have."
"Great observation, Mr. Teleporter Turtle," Donnie said sarcastically with a look. "But Naomi doesn't have hers either."
"I have it!" Naomi cheered, surprising them.
"You've found it?!" Donnie asked in shock before he cried in despair. "OH! WHY AM I THE ONLY ONE?!" He yelled while looking at his hands in frustration.
"No, I believe I have found a route where we can safely enter the Stronghold and Rescue Olivier," Naomi explained as she pulled out an Interior map of Shredder's Lair.
"Oh, is that it?" Donnie asked with a sheepish look as the others looked at him strangely. "Good." He said in embarrassment.
Naomi then put the map down, "If we drop down from the sunroof quietly make our way through the Tiki arena, and, we will have reached Stockman's Lab, where I am certain Olivier is being held," She explained.
"That is a great idea, Naomi," Tal said thoughtfully. "But how are we gonna get up to that sunroof without Shredder's goons noticing us?"
"Did you forget a certain turtle with the ability to teleport and open portals?" Naomi asked while looking at Leo with a smirk. "If Leonardo can create a portal from above Shredder's Stronghold at a safe enough height, The Foot will never know we infiltrated."
"Well, I have been practicing my portals," Leo said in thought. "If we land on the roof quietly, we should be able to sneak in."
"Then it settles it, we go tonight." Naomi declared with a determined expression.
At Shredder's lair in New York, it was nice and quiet. Just above Shredder's lair, a portal opened up and nine turtles fell through it and quietly landed on the roof as they looked around and saw no sign of any Footbots.
"So far, so good." Leo said as Tal and Donnie quietly cut a hole through the sunroof, "Okay, here's our plan, we break into the Lab, spring Olly then we go back, get all our allies, and cruise right in for a full assault on the Lair,"
"And then we bust some heads?" Raph asked with an eager smile.
"Then we bust some heads," Leo said with a smirk.
"Doesn't sound too hard," Mikey said with a shrug.
"Alright, team. Let's go." Leo whispered as they all then climbed down the hole and stealthily walked out of the Throne room and into the hall.
They avoided some Footbots patrolling the halls as they entered the Tiki Arena. "We're almost to the lab," Vee whispered.
"We're gonna make it." Ames whispered before Naomi saw something in the middle of the arena.
"Olivier?" Naomi asked as the others stopped and saw Olly kneeling in the middle of the arena, gripping the blunt end of his axe, "Oh thank goodness, you escaped!" She said in relief as they all jumped down behind him.
"Glad you're safe, big bro!" Ames called with a huge smile. "If anyone can escape from Shredder, it's you!"
"Now that your out, let's head back and then get everyone ready to take Shredder down!" Raph declared as they all turned to leave but noticed Olly didn't move from his spot, "Uh, Olly? Come on, let's bounce!" He said.
Olly gave no response, he only stood back up while pulling his axe out of the ground and holding it out.
The Turtles suddenly felt uneasy about Olly's behavior, "Ehehe, love the dramatic combat stance, bro, but uh, we gotta go?" Donnie asked nervously.
"Something doesn't feel right, dudes," Mikey whispered as they looked to Olly who still had his back to them, "He's gone all creepy on us which is totally not Olly,"
Vee then noticed the color of Olly's mask, "Wait, look at his mask," She whispered, "It's black,"
"So?" Raph asked with a brow.
"His mask is supposed to be green," Jenny reminded him.
"Wait, you don't mean that…" Leo tried to say before his eyes widened as he turned to Olly. "Olly?" He asked slowly as Olly clenched his fist and, at quick speed, he punched Leo, which sent him flying as the others looked shocked while Leo crashed into the wall.
"Leo!" Vee yelled and rushed to the Blue-Clad turtle, "Brother, why?!" Vee asked as she helped Leo up.
Olly then revealed himself with a black mask, pure red eyes, black bandages, metal elbow, knew, shoulder, and leg guards, a red scarf, and a Foot-esque Ninja belt and strap with other weapons on it. "Wait, why is he wearing Foot gear?" Ames asked when she saw the Foot attire Olly was wearing.
"The Brain Virus, Shredder must've infected him!" Donnie realized as they gave worried expressions.
"Olly, snap out of it dude!" Mikey pleaded.
A laugh then came in as they saw Newtralizer, Bebop, Rocksteady, and Tigerclaw walk in, "I see the gathering has already begun," Tigerclaw said with a mocking grin, "Did you enjoy our welcome gift, turtles?" He asked.
"What did you creeps do to my brother?!" Jenny questioned with a rageful glare.
"Improved him," Newtralizer answered with an evil smirk.
"The fool needed some meds fire, but now, he's on the winning side!" Bebop gloated while raising his blaster arm at them.
"Surprise, turtle freaks! This time, we squashs your head like the blueberry!" Rocksteady mocked, pulling out a blaster.
Naomi growled and raised her spear, charging at Tigerclaw but was blocked by Olly, "Olivier, please fight it!" She begged before Olly knocked her back, "We need you to come home!"
Olly scowled as he drew claws on his left hand. "I am home." He said as he charged at Naomi.
The others were about to help her, but the Foot Warriors started attacking them; Leo and Vee fighting Tigerclaw, Raph, and Jenny fighting Rocksteady, Donnie and Tal fighting Newtralizer, and Ames and Mikey fighting Bebop.
"Leonardo, Venus De Milo, I'm going to savor tearing the shells off your bodies." Tigerclaw taunted as he clashed weapons, "Just as I will savor watching Orimura beg for mercy as his own son cuts down him and the very Tribe he was destined to lead."
"You dirty Cat!" Leo growled in rage.
"No one insults my father or uses my brother!" Vee yelled as she and Leo pushed Tigerclaw back.
Ames and Mikey were avoiding shots from Bebop as they kept fighting. "You wanna take on our sweet moves, Bebop!?" Mikey questioned.
"Bring it on!" Ames called as they tried to hit Bebop, but he kept avoiding them.
"Ninjas, please," Bebop said as he did a dance that blasted the two back.
Donnie and Tal were fighting Newtralizer, who was trying to avoid his blasters. "Ah, let's see if you can remove the virus this time, Rokka-Rokka!" Newtralizer taunted.
"We've done it before; we can do it again!" Tal exclaimed as she and Donnie kept avoiding the lasers.
"Not this time! I made some improvements and administered it directly, so he is now completely under Shredder's control!" Newtralizer gurgled as he punched Donnie into her, which made them roll across the floor.
Rocksteady was firing at Jenny and Raph as they avoided the blaster shots. "Didn't anyone ever tell you Rhinos have terrible eyesight?" Raph mocked, which caused Rocksteady to roar in anger and keep pouring pressure on the two turtles as they took cover on a Tiki.
"Raph, Mikey specifically told us not to tick off a giant mutant rhino that one time!" Jenny exclaimed.
"Hey, I was just trying to give some witty banter," Raph defended before smirking, "How about you give Rocksteady the 'runaround'?"
Jenny knew what Raph was saying and smirked back, "Oh yeah," She said as her Hamato Ninpō activated then, and then she vanished in a yellow blur.
Rocksteady kept firing, but then he felt a punch to his said. "Eh?" He questioned before getting a smack to the head. "Huh?!" He questioned before his cannon was kicked out of his hands. "Nyte!? What this?!" He questioned before he was punched multiple times from every direction before something in front of him punched him right in the snout, which sent him flying to the floor.
Jenny then stopped in front of Rocksteady with a smirk. "Now that's what I call, can't hit a moving target." She said as she sped around the chamber.
Tigerclaw saw Jenny running around at high speed, which made him go stiff as he had flashes of a ghost from his past, remembering when a dog-like mutant sliced off his tail at nigh impossible speed. He then grunted and held his head, trying to block it out.
Leo and Vee took the chance and knocked Tigerclaw down. "Looks like Tigerclaw's not used to Jenny's speed," Vee commented.
"He shouldn't have let his guard down," Leo said, but before they could attack any further, they saw the mutated Shredder monsters from before crawling into the room, all 3 of them who they thought were destroyed.
"Oh, not these freaks again!" Raph said, annoyed, as the Shredder Mutants went into the frey as the others were at a disadvantage.
"Guys, there's too many of them! We gotta get out of here!" Leo exclaimed.
"But what about Olly?!" Jenny asked, gesturing to Naomi and Olly who were still fighting.
"No chance to bring him with us when he's under their control! We gotta go!" Leo called out. "Everyone, activate your bracelets!"
"Don't let them escape!" Tigerclaw called as Rocksteady charged at Raph and horned him, which caused Raph to scream as he fell to the ground with a thud.
"Raph!" Jenny called as she rushed towards her boyfriend and lifted him up.
"Naomi, we gotta go!" Tal called out as Naomi blocked a strike from Olly's blade.
Naomi looked to her friend and saw Raph was injured; she gave a conflicted look to Olly, who still glared at her, "I will return for you, I promise, my love," She whispered before jumping back to her team and throwing a smoke bomb.
Olly swipes his axe, but sees that the turtles are nowhere in sight as he looks around. "They have escaped." He said to the Foot Warriors.
"You couldn't have performed one simple task!" Tigerclaw yelled before he had a chain wrapped around his neck and was pulled down to Olly's feet.
"I was not the one freighted by Jennika's abilities, Feline," Olly stated pressing his foot onto Tigerclaw's head, "Don't go branding me a failure when you yourself showed weakness in the midst of battle,"
"Well spoken, Olivier," Shredder said as he approached as Bebop, Rocksteady, Newtralizer, and the Shredder Mutants bowed in respect, "Tigerclaw, your moment of hesitation was nothing short of disgraceful, where was your mind in that moment?" He questioned the assassin seriously as Olly stepped off him.
Tigerclaw groaned for a moment before he stood up and got on his knees. "Forgive me, Master. But, it seems that Jennika has gained an ability I am familiar with. One that belongs to the one who took my tail." He said.
"Jennika has found her Hamato Ninpo, and her ability is enhanced super speed," Olly explained. "Does this rival have similar abilities?" He questioned.
Tigerclaw gave him a growl before Shredder spoke, "I have no interest in mere phantoms of the past! This attack has proven you all have gotten soft!" He stated as the Foot Warriors, minus Olly, flinched.
"Do not worry, Master. We have driven them away." Olly assured him. "I assure you, we will handle any more infiltrations."
"If the turtles break in here again, I assure you, I will handle all of you," Shredder warned with a glare.
Back on Turtle Island, the Turtles are in the Healer's Pavilion as Harumi treated their wounds and bandaged Raph's left leg. "Hold still, Raphael. I believe you sprained your leg. You're gonna have to rest and heal up." Harumi advised.
"I'll heal later." Raph stubbornly said. "Right now, I'm down for a little sweet revenge."
"You proved your foolishness once, there is no need to prove it again," Splinter advised as he, Orimura, and Dariyasa entered.
"So is it true?" Dariyasa asked in worry, "Has Olivier truly been corrupted by the Shredder?"
"I'm afraid so," Naomi answered.
Dariyasa then looked down in sadness as she shut her eyes while Orimura comforted his wife. "What has the Shredder done to him?" Orimura asked seriously.
"He put Newtralizer's Brain virus in Olly's head," Vee said sadly. "The second he saw us, it was like he didn't even know us."
"And he was wearing Foot Attire!" Mikey exclaimed while giving an angry expression. "That is just sick, yo!"
"But we might able to save him," Donnie said with an ice pack on his head, "If Tal and I can get a sample of Newtralizer's Brain Virus we should be able to create an antidote."
"Then we go back and see if we can get one," Leo said seriously.
"You will do no such thing," Orimura stated as they all turned to him in surprise, "Young ones, your hearts are in the right place but after this assault, Shredder will surely expect another infiltration, which is why until Raphael's leg has recovered, no one is to leave this Island."
This made them all complain as Raph stood up. "Don't sideline the rest of the team because I'm down, Grandmaster." Raph pleaded.
"He has made his decision," Splinter spoke up, in agreement with Orimura. "You all must remember your lives are just as important."
"But isn't it worth it to rescue, Olly?" Leo questioned.
Dariyasa gave a firm look, "We are not willing to risk your lives or our son's," She stated before looking to Raphael, "Rest and get well, my son." She said as the three walked off.
"Sorry guys," Raph said in regret, feeling guilty that it was his fault they got benched.
"Don't worry about it, Raph," Leo assured. "We can't rely on our powers to get us in there."
"So, what are you proposing then?" Donnie questioned.
"There were too many of us. I need to go alone, without powers or tech, solo." Leo said firmly as he stood up but was held down by Naomi.
"No, Shredder knows you too well, he will anticipate you trying a solo infiltration, expecting a Ninja to perform such a plan," Naomi told him, "But he won't suspect a Samurai, I will go," She said before leaving to prepare.
"What?" Leo asked as he and the others were surprised by this.
At nightfall, Naomi exited her room, wearing a brown and gold set of samurai armor; she snuck out of the hut toward Donnie's lab, where the bracelets were, and took one while Ames watched from outside.
In New York, Naomi was running on rooftops before she stopped at the corner where she saw Shredder's lair ahead as she gave a serious look. And then Ames snuck up behind her as she quickly grabbed Naomi and covered her mouth. "Naomi?" She asked as Naomi pushed her off, but she nearly tripped over the edge as she managed to regain her balance while giving a look to Ames, who looked at her sheepishly.
"Amoly, what are you doing here?" Naomi whispered.
"Backing you up," Ames answered.
"It's too dangerous. It's better if I go alone." Naomi said firmly.
"I just snuck up on you." Ames pointed out. "You had no idea I was up here with you. I don't care what you say; I'm going to help you. Besides you're not the only one who loves Olly," She said with a smile.
Naomi looked down for a moment before she sighed. "Alright. Let's capture a sample of the Brain Virus." She declared.
"Yes," Ames cheered with a smile.
Inside Shredder's Throne Room, Fishface was sleeping in the water, Koya was nestled on a ledge, Newtralizer was curled up in a corner and Tigerclaw and Rahzar were lying on the ground, all fast asleep. Naomi and Ames climbed down the rope from the ceiling as the two turtles quietly tip-toed past the sleeping Foot Mutants, but Ames tripped and landed beside Rahzar, who wrapped his arms around her.
Ames shuddered in fear that Rahzar was snoring, holding her like a teddy bear, before Naomi came back and carefully pulled Ames away from Rahzar as the wolf mutant continued to sleep.
The two made it to Stockman's lab as they searched around for the Brain Virus, before finding a a container of red liquid, "There, that must be the virus." Naomi whispered.
"Then let's grab it and get out of here," Ames whispered. "If Olly is standing guard, he could strike us at any moment."
"Don't worry, it's a good thing I grab this from Donnie's lab," Naomi said as she brought out an empty container and used a tube to extract some of the virus the vial was filled all the way up, and she put it in her belt.
"Watch it suckers." Bebop appeared behind them as Rocksteady came to him while the two aimed their blasters at the turtles. "I've been losing a lot of beauty sleep because of your turtles."
"Shredder be making us keep the eye out 24/7. It's not fun, it's boring!" Rocksteady said annoyed.
"Easy, friends, look," Naomi said as she and Ames raised their hands. "We're putting our hands up, there's no need for anything rash."
"I'd say we make the turtles scorch!" Rocksteady said, holding out a flamethrower.
"Best idea I've heard all day. Do your thing, Steranko," Bebop said casually before Rocksteady looked at the mutagen tank.
"Wait... I'm thinking mutagen soup instead!" Rocksteady suggested.
"I love that idea G!" Bebop said as the two made an evil laugh as Naomi and Ames gave nervous looks.
Back on Turtle Island, the turtles woke up and found out that Naomi and Ames were gone as their human teen friends came in. "Everyone relax! Casey Jones is here!" Casey announced as he walked in.
"And friends," Zach said in annoyance.
"Naomi and Ames are gone. And they're not picking up their T-Phones." Leo informed.
"That can only mean they've been captured," Vee said in concern.
"Then let's go to Shredder's Lair and bust them out." Keno declared.
"I like that idea," Raph said.
"You will do no such thing!" Orimura called as he and Splinter walked up.
"Where is Amoly and Maolieri?" Splinter questioned as they looked at him nervously.
"Ehehhe, that's a good question, masters," Donnie said nervously as the two ninja masters glared at them sternly.
Naomi and Ames were put in a cage over the mutagen tank as they looked down in horror while Bebop and Rocksteady stood by. "Haha! You are gonna make one freaky two-headed mutant turtle! I can't wait to see this! Haha!" Bebop laughed as Ames had the horrible vision of the two of them mutated into one.
"That's it?" Naomi asked calmly. "You plan on creating a turtle mutant? How original." She mocked with a smirk. "Why not add more creatures to the mutagen? Create a truly powerful mutation, an ultimate mutant," She suggested.
"Hmm, I like that idea," Bebop said in interest while holding his chin, "Let's add something to spice up the mix, like shrimp over there," He pointed to Mini Shredder.
"Why not add more?" Naomi suggested.
"Naomi, what are you doing?" Ames questioned in panic as she saw on Naomi's back that she took out a lock pick.
"Stalling for time to escape," Naomi whispered.
"Maybe up antique! We make turtle, shrimp, crab, and lobster mutant!" Rocksteady declared as Bebop brought out some sardines for bait.
"Come here, little buddies; it's dinner time, freaks." Bebop teased, throwing the food in the mutagen, which made all 3 of the monsters jump into the mutagen.
"Haha, we created the 5-star Ultimate mutant hahaha!" Rocksteady laughed evilly until the tank started to shake violently as they all looked up and saw something big coming out of the mutagen.
"You've messed up big time Steranko! I blame you! That was a stupid idea! AH!" Bebop screamed in fear as he and Rocksteady ran away.
Naomi picked the lock as quickly as she could before she picked the lock as they quickly got out of the cage. "Let's go!" Naomi called as she and Ames rushed out of the lab.
Then roaring sounds, resembling Shredder's voice, can be heard as Tigerclaw and Kitsune rush in and see something coming out of the mutagen as it glows green.
Outside on the surface, people were going about their day minding their own business until the ground started to shake violently, which scared them all. A manhole bursts open violently, and they all see a huge monster beginning to emerge from the ground; people scream with horror as a monster appears from the ground; the head is shaped like the Kuro Kabuto with six eyes, Mini Shredder's whiskers on its face and three horns on its head. It had Shiva Shredder's arm count, with the upper pair brandishing Claw Shredder's huge lobster claws and the lower part being regular hands armed with Tekkō-kagi on the wrists/knuckles. It has two muscular legs with bare feet and sharp toenails. It has armor that has fused to its skin, resulting in it being completely armored. It had metal spikes on its back, similar to a certain monster, a crustacean-armored sharp-club tail.
"It's some kind of…Mega Shredder! Ames screamed in horror as the monster towered above her and Naomi.
On Turtle Island, a news report as the footage is seen all over. "Is it a blob thing from outer space? Or a product of science gone wrong? Nobody knows, but one thing's for certain, stay inside, and stay tuned for more of Grody.." Grody said right as the station ended with the reporter being attacked by the Mega Shredder's tongue, the end having a human-like creature resembling Oroku Saki before he burned with mantis-like arms.
The others looked in shock at what they saw. "Is it just me, or is there something kinda Shreddery about that monster?" Zach asked.
"Ya think?" Miwa questioned before turning to Catilyn, "What's your mother thinking trying to get a scoop and risk getting eaten?"
"Ever since New York has been getting these crazy incidents like the Kraang Invasion and sudden mutants like Muckman, she's been trying to gain more popularity if she gets it on live camera," Caitlyn said with a sigh. "Though how she survived is anyone's guess,"
"Well maybe it's time you remind her that family is more important than fame," April suggested.
"It will be tough, but for now, how about we stop that thing from destroying the city," Caitlyn suggested.
"Yeah, we gotta move," Leo said in agreement as they turned to Splinter and Orimura, who closed their eyes and nodded.
"Go. Find your sisters. Save the city." Splinter said as Orimura nodded.
The Hamato Warriors stood up and rushed to the door, but Raph cringed and fell on his knees as he clutched his leg. "Raph! Your leg," Jenny said in concern while helping keep Raph up, "Are you sure you're up for this?"
"If I gotta walk on my hands, we're taking that thing down!" Raph stubbornly said.
"Raph, you can barely stand. And judging from the size of that thing, we need something just as big to take it down." Leo said while rubbing his chin.
"Mmm." Donnie hummed before an idea popped into his head. "I think I know just the right thing to help both problems at once."
Back in the city, Mega Shredder continued to rampage through the city while people ran in fear of it while Naomi and Ames were kept out of sight.
"We need to lead it away from the humans!" Naomi told Ames as they brought out their Grappling hooks.
"You're going down, Mega Shredder!" Ames called as she and Naomi fired their grappling hooks as they zoomed up and fought out their weapons as they started fighting Mega Shredder, pushing it back.
On a rooftop, Bebop and Rocksteady watched the monster they had created destroying the city, "Aw man, look at that thing, Steranko! That is some deep bacon fat!" Bebop cried in horror seeing it.
"I blame you comrade Bebop! It's not a fine mess you've gotten us into!" Rocksteady blamed as he punched him in the face.
Naomi And Ames proceeded to attack Mega Shredder, but they couldn't penetrate the mutant's skin. "This thing's tough!" Ames called as she kept whipping at Mega Shredder before swinging away, but the mutant grabbed her with its lower left arm and roared in her face.
Naomi watched from a rooftop as Mega Shredder threw Ames into its mouth. Her scream cut off as she fell down its throat, and it gave a burp. "AMES!" She yelled in rage as she clutched her spear tightly in anger before she threw off her hat and grabbed her grappling hook.
Naomi then charged at Mega Shredder with a yell of anger as she jumped into the air before swinging back around and using her spear to slash at the monster's body repeatedly before swinging down with her grappling hook and grabbing Ames's before using it to swing back to Mega Shredder as she ran across it's arm and gave a rageful roar.
Naomi slashed the eyes of Mega Shredder with quick speed as it roared in pain. She was about to swing away, but Mega Shredder grabbed her and glared while bringing the samurai closer to its mouth as she struggled to break free.
But then, an explosion went off behind Mega Shredder, causing it to trip and let go of Naomi as she flung across the floor before she got up and saw the Turtle Mech on a building with the others inside, upgraded with Kraang Tech armor and weapons the Turtles salvaged from the Invasion.
"The Turtle Mech," Naomi said in awe as the Mech jumped down.
"Aw, yes! Way more awesome than video games!" Casey cheered as Mega Shredder got back up, and Naomi zipped away before it gave a roar.
"Are you two sure the Turtle Mech can stop this thing?" Miwa asked Donnie and Tal.
"Donnie and I upgraded the Turtle Mech with leftover Kraang tech the Kraang left behind," Tal spoke up. "It's a lot tougher than it was against Kraang Prime."
"And this time, we're gonna take that thing down!" Donnie called as he fired another explosive at Mega Shredder forcing it back.
Naomi landed on a rooftop and watched the battle as she gave a sad look at Ames's grappling hook with Ames's name engraved on it.
Ames groans as she finally starts waking up, she looks around and yelps in fright as she finds herself within the monster's own stomach and sees something slithering in the stomach acid, making her hide in fear.
Outside, Mega Shredder roared in anger as it launched its tongue at the Turtle Mech and started pulling on it while the Team tried to avoid the human-mantis end, "Ugh! This thing's as nasty as the real Shredder!" Vee exclaimed.
"Launching more missiles!" Raph shouted as the Mech fired at Mega Shredder forcing it back.
Inside the stomach, Ames felt the monster shake as she lost her footing and was about to fall into the stomach acid. "Need something to hold onto!" She called, but then the worm creature in the stomach wrapped around her and lifted her up. "Not what I had in mind." She muttered in fright as the worm chirped at her.
"Incoming!" Robyn called as Mega Shredder charged at them as they moved out of the way before it could tackle them.
"Donnie, Tal, how do we stop this thing?!" Leo called. "What do we do?!"
"We're working on it, Leo!" Tal called out.
"Let's just focus on pushing it back!" Donnie called, but before they could do anything, Mega Shredder flipped them around as they screamed before whacking it with its tail to a building before grabbing them as it forced them to its giant mouth as they all screamed.
"Everyone!" Naomi yelled in horror before she glared at the monster. In her mind, a brown symbol of the Hamato Clan appears in the blackness, as Naomi then gained brown spiral markings as she then jumped high and brought out her hands to the sides as they created two brown light turtle-shell disks which she launched at the Mega Shredder, they exploded upon impact, knocking it backward and dropped the Turtle Mech.
"Whoa!" They all exclaimed as they landed on the ground.
Inside the stomach, Ames managed to used her dagger to cut the worm creature off her, but when she was about to fall into the stomach acid, she used her whip to grab hold of a metal part of the stomach, barely avoid the acid.
While the Turtle Mech struggled to get up the Mega Shredder's tongue tried to attack it but was stopped by a large brown light shield as Naomi jumped on the tongue, "I already lost two of my family to you, Shredder! I won't lose the rest too!" Naomi shouted, without her usual formality as she slashed and forced the Tongue back as the Mega Shredder roared in pain.
Seeing this, Donnie realized it with a lightbulb over his head, "It's the tongue, Naomi! The tongue is its weak spot!" He cheered.
"Thanks for the tip, Donnie!" Naomi called as she then threw her shield at the tongue, which caused it to roar in pain as it was brought down as she used her grapple to yank it further as she slammed it to the ground, and rode on it while sliding on the ground.
Mega Shredder roared in pain before the Turtle Mech launched it's grapple arm and knocked it back as it delivered a double kick as Naomi saw the tongue broke free and roared in anger before Naomi then threw another shield at it, knocking it to the wall as it stumbled to the ground, which caused Mega Shredder eyes' to widened as it roared in pain.
"Now it's really mad!" Robyn called as they managed to dodge one of its arms as it smacked itself as they moved back as Mega Shredder went after them as the Turtle Mech tried to escape it with Naomi on the arm.
"How do we stop this thing!?" Jenny questioned with tears of fear.
"How we are suppose to know?!" Tal cried out with the same tears of fear as they tried to outrun Mega Shredder, but its tongue tackled them and grabbed Naomi as the Turtle Mech quickly grabbed her and pulled her as they were slowly being pulled to Mega Shredder.
"You're the Kaiju Expert, Mikey!" Donnie told his little brother, "Any ideas?!" He asked frantically.
"We need a surprise sneak attack if we want to take out its brain!" Mikey called out. "And then, we blow it up from the inside!"
"Really, but how are we gonna take out the brain!? We're a bit tied up here!" Vee pointed out.
But then, the teeth in Mega Shredder's mouth began to crack, catching everyone, including the tongue's, attention as they turned and bursting out of the teeth was Ames. "Cowabunga!" She called.
"Ames!" Naomi cheered in relief, "Thank goodness!" She said before Amoly jumped and used her illusion clones to distract the tongue while swung and grabbed Naomi.
"Bring it home, Sister!" Ames declared as she threw Naomi at the tongue.
"Booyakasha!" Naomi declared as she brought out a Shell Shield that was razor sharp, threw it at the tongue, and sliced its human part.
Naomi landed on her feet, and the tongue fell across from her; the tongue looked down and saw it was cut off before it went limp dead as Mega Shredder roared disoriently. "Now's our chance to finish this thing!" Raph called out.
"Fire missile!" Leo called as they fired a missile directly into Mega Shredder's mouth.
When it landed in the stomach acid, Mega Shredder exploded into millions of pieces. The people of New York saw the explosion, but then it started raining green goo of the remains of the Mega Shredder as the Hamato Warriors cheered in victory despite getting disgusted.
"Great job, team!" Vee declared as Naomi and Ames came over to them.
"We managed to acquire some of Newtralizer's Brain Virus," Naomi said as she turned to Ames, "Excellent work, Amoly,"
Ames smiled and handed Naomi her hat back, "Plus you found your Hamato Ninpō, or maybe Samupō," Ames told the Samurai turtle.
Naomi gave a chuckle. "Thank you. Today may not have been a terrible one, but we now have a means to find a cure for Olivier." She said with a smile.
Donnie, however, looked disheartened, "Oh great, so now I really am the only one who hasn't figured out my special mystic powers," He said as he was now the only turtle yet to find his powers.
In Shredder's lair, Bebop and Rocksteady were in front of the Shredder once again and looked really scared. "But boss, it was turtle fault! They sabotage mutagen!" Rocksteady said in defense not wanting any punishments.
"We tried to stop them, Mr. Shredder! Pig's honor!" Bebop promised in fear.
Shredder was not having any of it. "I tire of this! Olivier, further their education in pain." Shredder ordered which made Olly grin.
"As you wish," Olly replied as he drew out his axe and tapped it one hand.
"Just watch the goggles, cool Turtle? It's kinda my thing." Bebop said with fear before he and Rocksteady both screamed while Olly lunged at the both of them with Shredder watching their punishment.
Caitlyn returned home, where she found her mother at her workstation, with photos of mutants, Kraang, and Foot from all across New York. She was currently working on her new story with the latest pictures she got of Mega Shredder she managed to take before she had to get away when things got heated up.
Caitlyn sighed and approached her mother, "Hey, Mom?" She called.
"Oh, Caitlyn!" Cody called as she got up and gave her daughter a hug. "Oh, did you see the news about that giant creature that was rampaging around town?"
"Y-Yeah, it was really something," Caitlyn said with an uneasy smile. "But quick question, don't you think it was a bit dangerous to even get up close to live cast that monster, Mom?"
"Oh, it may have been dangerous, dear. But everyone has to see what has been happening in the city." Cody said to her daughter. "That's why Grody to The Max is the top channel for action and excitement about robots, mutants, or even Giant Turtle men!"
"Uh, didn't Muckman say they were just a hoax?" Caitlyn asked in worry, thinking that they didn't shake her mother off like they thought.
"That's what I thought too, until people started posting pictures of these online," Grody said as she showed blurred or shadowy images of the Turtles on the rooftops and alleyways, "Perhaps Muckman thought that they were kids in costumes, but the pictures don't lie,"
"Mom, even if they are real, don't you think you're just jumping to conclusions and risking your life in that mutant mayhem situation is dangerous?" Catilyn questioned, looking concerned. "What if something happens out there if you're too close to ground zero? What if you get…"
Cody looked at her daughter for a moment, seeing how concerned she was as she sighed. "Sweetie. Nothing bad is gonna happen to me. I mean, sure, I'm tempted to get the mutants and monsters that are happening in the city, but when it gets too much for me, I usually make sure to keep some distance and just film it from the satellites or cameras around the city." She promised.
"But that time with Mega Shredder was way too close for comfort," Caitlyn said, accidentally saying the mutant's name.
Grody raised a brow. "Mega Shredder?" She questioned.
"Uh, well, it had blades everywhere, even in its tongue, and tore the city apart," Caitlyn said with a nervous smile. "So I figure I would give it a name that fits its description."
Grody looked at her daughter for a moment before she smiled brightly. "Well, that's the perfect name. 'Attack of the Mega Shredder', screen gold!" She declared.
"Yeah. Right." Caitlyn said with a sheepish look, nearly blowing the secret about turtles before she turned to her mother. "But please, Mom, please be extra careful, today was a close call. And I don't wanna lose you like what happened during the alien invasion. Please." She pleaded.
Grody looked at her daughter for a moment, seeing how deeply the Kraang Invasion had affected Catilyn, and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Okay, sweety. From now on, I'm gonna keep my distance and only film the attacks whether by rooftop or from the station itself. So that I would be out of harm's way." She promised.
Caitlyn gave a smile as she hugged her mother. "Thanks mom, you don't know how much this means to me." She said as Grody smiled and returned the hug.
"For you, anything," Grody said with a smile as the mother and daughter hugged each other for a while longer.
Yup, Olly has officially gone Evil Turtle Slave on us; I based his appearance on Leo's Foot Clan suit from the IDW Comics. But on a positive note, Naomi has unlocked her Hamato Ninpō, or Hatmato Samupō power: Shell Shields, for both protection and offensive attacks, kind of like Rarity's Diamond Shields from Equestria Girls.
On another note, Tigerclaw seems to remember the one who took his Tail, and while you may think it'll be a long time before we see her...hehehe...well, Speed is her game.
