In Deep Space, the Ulixie is flying past some ships that was flying by. "Finally, a little action. Check out all the ships!" Raph called as they saw a space station ahead of them.
"Dudes!" Mikey saw the station through the main window on the bridge of the ship. "Zethod's Cantina is bumping! I bet their food is 'out of this world'." He quipped with a smirk as Ames giggled.
"Good one, Mikey." Ames said with giggles.
"That joke is older than the rings of Northern Nine," Zog commented while shaking his head.
"So why are we here?" Leo asked the Professor.
"I promised to find a way to break into the Triceraton Mothership, did I not?" Honeycutt reminded, getting everyone's attention. "If you want to steal the first place of the Black Hole generator, the first step is…"
"Distract them with pepperoni!" Mikey exclaimed as he held a long stick of pepperoni in his arms that was almost twelve feet long. "Look at the size of this!"
"Where did he get that from?" Alopex questioned.
"He's been messing around with the Think-a-food machine again." Keno said with a sigh.
"Mikey! Pay attention!" Raph exclaimed to his younger brother. "This is important stuff!" He calmed down a bit. "Continued Professor." Suddenly, Mikey appeared by Raph's side and smacked him with the pepperoni stick, causing Raph to angrily chase Mikey while the younger Turtle laughed the whole time.
The group looked mildly surprised before Honeycutt continued. "The first step is to acquire a schematic of the mothership from a shady information dealer named Vrax Belebome."
"Couldn't Zog give us the blueprints to the mothership? He was part of it." Jenny said in confusion.
"I would have. But my gear and schematics for the mothership were lost back in New York." Zog said while giving the turtles a brow. "At the statue, after you took out my beacon."
The turtles gave sheepish looks from that. "Um, yeah, sorry about that." Donnie said with a sheepish look.
"So, where do we find this Belebome?" Casey questioned.
"In a place where Terrans and Triceratons aren't welcome," Zog answered, "April, Robyn, Keno and Casey shall remain with me here to resupply." He instructed.
"Oh, come on! Stay behind!?" April complained.
"Seriously?!" Robyn questioned.
"This is alien-racism!" Casey complained before he tripped on the pod and fell on his back.
"Yeah, I think it's a good call." Keno said with a brow. "We'll stay here and help Zog resupply." He said.
"Wait, how come Miwa gets to go? She's practically human too." April pointed out.
"Except, unlike you guys, I can do this." Miwa said before she then shifted into her snake form as she stuck out her tongue teasingly.
"Darn that girl's good." Robyn commented while Raph was still chasing after Mikey around the ship as Mikey laughed.
In an area of Zethod's Cantina, the bar seemed to be a pretty popular place as several aliens of all sizes, shapes, and colors went about their business with eating, drinking, and gambling. It seemed normal until the music stopped and everyone turned to see the turtles, Miwa, Alopex, and Honeycutt all walking in, the latter having a suitcase in his arms. They looked at them for a second before resuming their activities.
"Guess we shouldn't be surprised," Olly said, "To these guys, we're pretty much normal around here."
"Finally, a place we can sit down, blend in, and eat a meal." Raph said.
"Don't get too comfortable, Raph." Leo advised.
"Yeah, this place is a bit, extreme." Ames said with an uncomfortable look.
"In fact, don't make eye, hand, or tentacle contact with anyone or anything." Fugitoid reminded. "As I said before, these are outlaws. We've nothing to learn from them."
As most of the group walked in one direction before an odd whiff caught the attention of Mikey's nose. He followed the smell blindly; literally on the account his eyes were closed, before smacking into the back of a large alien that had a mouth on his belly with a single long eye. Mikey's accident caused the alien to spill his tray of food.
"My din-din! You trying to start something sucker?!" He pointed his laser gun at Mikey's face. "Cause I got a great ending for ya! Got a problem, doofus!?"
"Sorry dude!" Mikey tried to pick up the spilled food. "Just picking this… food up for you…?" He smiled apologetically. "My bad."
The Turtles, Miwa and Alopex came to Mikey's defense. "Sorry sir, our friend is a little… odd." Alopex apologized, but the alien looked like he was about to shoot anyway.
"Wait, stop!" Honeycutt walked up, causing the alien to calm down.
"Oh it's you! And these idiots are you muscle, huh? Sorry looking bunch I must say." Belebome said in a note pleasant tone.
So I'm guessing this is that Belebome guy? Miwa whispered to Tal in-between a few hisses.
"Apparently." Tal shrugged with a whisper.
"Come on, grab a seat there, Honeycutt." The alien revealed to be Belebome sat in a booth with everyone else following.
"Remember Mikey, this guy's got the plans to the Triceraton Mothership." Leo reminded his youngest brother. "So try not to tick him off again, okay?"
Mikey grumbled and crossed his arms before joining everyone else. Belebome began to literally scarf down his food, despite it being spilled on the floor recently. Some of the mutants looked a bit grossed out, with the exception of Mikey as he tried to reach the pile.
"Mind if I have a little bite?" However, Belebome slapped his hand before his elongated eye glared at the orange-clad Turtle.
"You best step off of my venarian muffin, son!" Belebome warned him as Ames pulled him back.
"Mikey, I know you like to eat but you know it's rude to ask for someone else's food," Ames told her boyfriend. "What's up with you anyway?"
Mikey smiled before clasping his hands together. "I see a land where pizza grows on trees." as Ames giggled while Raph, Jenny, and Miwa all face-palmed at that. Maybe he should have stayed behind on the ship too.
"It's been confirmed, you really are an idiot," Jenny said dully.
"I brought the agreed upon fee of fifty-thousand Samulax." Honeycutt placed the briefcase on the table as Belebome tried to grab it, but Honeycutt kept a firm grip on it. "Did you bring the information?"
Belebome yanked the case out of Honeycutt's robotic hands. "Of course! I'm no rookie, Robo-Brain!" He opened the case and looked at the contents briefly. "This will do for a… down payment. Another fifty-thousand and ya'll got yourself a deal."
The group looked in surprise. "What?! But you said…! This is all I have! It's my life savings!" Fugitoid yelled.
"We had a deal, you bloated Cyclops! We brought you the money, now you give us what we asked for!" Miwa exclaimed.
"You'll Get it when I get the other 50 thousand, losers!" Belebome smirked before burping a green cloud with a horrible stench.
"Oh, that's just rude!" Alopex called as she and the others, except for Fugitoid, cringed at the stench before they fell down to the ground as Belebome rushed off with a laugh.
The only one not knocked out was Mikey who actually enjoyed the smell, only to realize what was happening. "Huh? Get back here dude!" He ran and jumped in front of Belebome before he could get any further. In that instant, virtually everyone in the cantina panicked, fearing a showdown as they either left the room entirely or found some cover to hide behind.
"Give him back his money, Bellybomb!" Mikey challenged the alien, while also giving him one of his made-up nicknames.
"It's Belebome!" He took out his laser gun and opened fire on Mikey, as he jumped and took cover behind the bar. "Come out and fight like a man, chump!" Mikey came out and returned fire with his own laser gun.
"Yeah boy!" Mikey exclaimed as he continued to shoot back.
Ames regain consciousness and saw the fire fight, "Guys! Mikey needs help!" She called.
The others got up and got out their own weapons and pointed at Belebome. "Drop the cash, Belebome!" Olly ordered.
"How about I drop you instead?" Belebome suggested as he used the case to knock down the table, giving him some cover as he shot at the Turtles who took cover behind the bar and a table themselves.
However, this distracted Belebome long enough for Miwa, still in her serpent-form, to shoot her body at him to tackle and entangle him onto the floor in her long tail, which she began to squeeze tightly.
"Who's dropping whom, now?" Miwa challenged, only for Belebome to open his long mouth and bite down on Karai, causing her hiss in pain as she let go, while Belebome used the briefcase to smack Miwa back. Before he could run however, the large construct of Raph suddenly appeared in front of him and grabbed him by his elongated eye to pull him up to eye-level. Raph glared at him while Belebome gave a nervous chuckle.
"Nighty-night!" Raph called as he delivered a mighty punch with his construct arm on Belebome that sent him to the floor.
Belebome reached for his blaster but it was knocked away by Ames's plasma whip as he saw her glaring down at her, "Don't even think about it Bellybomb." She said firmly.
"You just made a big mistake." Alopex said with a glare.
"Just make good on the deal, and we'll forget this happened!" Raph added.
"Forget it!" Belebome exclaimed as the others regrouped. "The deal's off! You liars, thieves…!"
"What?! You stole from us!" Tal exclaimed as she picked up Honeycutt's money and handed it to the aforementioned Fugitoid.
"We're wasting our time with this honorless cad," Naomi said in disgust.
"She's right. Let's get out of here." Olly said as they all walked by Belebome while giving him a glare as Mikey shot up to his eyeball.
"Yeah, we don't need you Bellybomb! I got way better secrets than you'll ever have! Like Black Hole pieces and stuff! Booya… kasha!" Mikey was the last to leave the room; however Belebome actually looked intrigued.
"Black Hole piece, huh? Maybe this Mikey-moron does have some secrets worth getting may hands on." He activated his wrist-communicator. "Summon the Neutrinos." His communicator activated as he saw the image of three bulky creatures with single red visor-like eyes. "I got a big day for you fellas."
Back on the Ulixies, the mutants and Professor explained to their friends what happened, "Wow sounds like a real class act." Robyn commented, "I thought you said you knew this guy Professor?"
"Still, Belebome would've gotten away with the cash if it hadn't been for Mikey," Olly said before turning to the Orange-clad Turtle, "I know I don't say it a lot Mikey but, you're a credit to the team," he complimented.
"Aw, thanks, Olly." Mikey said with a smile.
"Should have smashed that mouth-farter for trying to jack us!" Raph pounded his fist into his palm.
"We maybe back where we started, but we'll find another way." Leo said optimistically.
"Leo's right. As they say, where there's a will, there's a way." Vee said to them.
"So what now?" Keno asked.
"For now, let's blow off some steam in the holoroom." Olly suggested as they walked off, leaving Ames and Mikey behind. "Down for some training you two?"
"Nah, I'm gonna chill and scope 'Chris Bradford and his 2 Ruff Crew'." Mikey leaned over the couch as Casey sat down.
"I wouldn't mind watching a weird show of Rahzar's." Ames said with giggles as she sat down next.
Meanwhile, outside the Ulixies, a very small spaceship flew towards the larger vessel. This ship bore the appearance of a mix between a slug with a jellyfish, along with some kind of armor coating as it was being ridden by the Neutrinos. It made its way to the Ulixies with little effort and flew in through a minor exhaust port.
Chirs Bradford's allies laid defeated in a pile as Bradford himself faced his enemy, a relatively small human with cyborg-like components on his body as the cartoon-villain hopped up and down.
"You may have defeated Master C, Sumo Glen, and Lil' Rineo, but you won't get through me Microchip."
The villain identified as Microchip jumped onto Bradford's face and began to punch his face relentlessly.
Casey already left the rec room, but Mikey and Ames kept watching with an open pizza-box on the floor. "Okay, that is so funny." Ames said with giggles.
Mikey however looked tired as he lay on the floor. "Chris Bradford is so lame…" He said in a yawn before he fell asleep while Ames continued to watch.
But with Mikey asleep and Ames watching the show, neither of them noticed the very tiny craft, piloted by the Neutrinos, coming to land on Mikey's shell. The trio of microscopic aliens got off and began to march across Mikey's shell until sliding down toward his head and climbing over to his mouth. One Neutrino opened his mouth slightly, allowing the others to slip inside before going in himself.
Mikey suddenly woke up with a scream, startling Mikey. "Mikey?! What is it?!" The Orange-clad turtle's eyes were bloodshot before he fell onto the ground. Ames got off the couch. "Mikey, are you okay?" She tried to shake Mikey awake, but he wouldn't wake up. "Mikey? Mikey!" Ames looked really scared. "Oh no… Guys! Guys help!" Ames screamed to the others as she rushed out of the rec room.
Later everyone came out of holo-simulator, stretching out, before Ames rushed in blabbering hysterically, "Whoa, whoa, slow down Ames!" Olly tried to ease his youngest sister, "What's happening?"
"We were watching Chris Bradford and then Mikey, he, he screamed!" Ames yelled anxiously while the others gave dull looks.
"Mikey always screams, Ames," Leo reminded her.
"For a bunch of different reasons," Tal noted with a finger.
"But has he ever fallen asleep after screaming and won't wake up?!" Ames questioned.
"Honestly, I think that did happen once," Vee commented.
Ames blinked before she glared with a red vein on her head, "You're not listening to me!" She yelled before Olly slapped her across the face causing her to shoot back in defensive stance while giving a shocked expression before she gave them a glare. "Did you just slap me?" She asked lowly.
"I was trying to calm you down." Olly said to her.
"Why would that calm me down?!" Ames questioned in disbelief.
"I think she's delusional" Donnie commented as Ames's head had steam coming out of it as she gave a kettle whistle while trembling in rage.
Naomi approached Ames and placed a hand on her shoulder, "Amoly, we can clearly see you are distress but first take a deep breath, calm your mind and tell us again what is wrong," She said softly.
"But I'm-!" Ames tried to say before she realized she was getting worked up again and took a breath in and then out, "Okay, okay, I'm cool." She said calmly.
"Good, now take us to where's Mikey and we'll see what's wrong," Olly told her.
"Okay." Ames said before she gave Leo, Raph, and Donnie a look. "And if you three think this is like when you first met the Kraang, so help me, I'll-"
"Amoly, is Michelangelo more important than what others think?" Naomi questioned as Ames slumped.
"Aw, why do you always have to make sense?" Ames whined.
"Because I'm wise and more open minded than others." Naomi said with a smirk.
"Hey!" The others yelled out in offense as Naomi giggled as they exited the holo trainer and to where Mikey is, who is completely out of it.
"Is he alright?" Zog asked as Raph tossed popcorn at Mikey's head.
"Very funny you moron, but the joke's over. Get up you bum!" Raph said before Ames smacked his popcorn bag away. "Hey!"
"Is he sick or something?" Robyn wondered.
Tal checked him, even opening his eye which were all swirly and colorful, "He's still alive and he doesn't have a fever. But he's totally zoned out it," She examined in concern, "Could be a delay response from Bellebome's noxious burp."
"Don't worry, I got the cure right here," Keno said, pulling out a slice of Pizza, "Mikey can't resist Pizza," He said confidently.
Keno then slid the slice across Mikey's head but got no reaction much to everyone's shock. "What the?! But that like… defy the laws of physics!" Casey said in shock.
"Mikey's not reacting to Pizza?!" Jenny questioned in shock. "Okay, something is seriously wrong here!"
"I TOLD YOU!" Ames screamed, causing them to cringe as Tal rubbed her ears.
"Okay, it's official, Ames isn't completely like Mikey." Raph commented.
Honeycutt used his optics to scan Mikey's unconscious body and did not like the results. "Oh dear, I'm afraid Michalengelo's mind has been infiltrated by Neutrinos!" He said in shock while Zog's eyes widened.
"Oh no." Zog muttered.
"Neutral subatomic particles?" Donnie asked in wonder.
"No, 'Neutrino' is just a nick-name due to their microscopic size." Fugitoid explained as he displayed a holographic profile of the aforementioned life-forms. "No one knows their real name…"
"I don't want to hear what they're called, why or even hear their backstory!" Ames exclaimed while waving at the projection. "What do they want with my boyfriend?!" She yelled, shaking the Fugitoid by the shoulders.
"In short, his mind." Zog said with a grim tone.
"What do you mean by that?" Alopex asked in worry.
"Every person has an 'inner-self', deep in their consciousness." Fugitoid began to explain. "The Neutrinos track down and remove this 'inner-self', stealing all his knowledge and memories; leaving the victim a mindless shell."
"Isn't Mikey already kinda mindless?" Casey joked a bit. "Who'd want to steal his brains-Ow!" Ames had slapped Casey's arm.
"Casey, this is serious! Don't joke like this!" Ames scolded.
"Wow, with Mikey in trouble, Ames sure is going in protective mode." Keno whispered to Alopex and the others.
"That's strong love there." Alopex whispered back with a small smile.
"Okay, Ames, we get it. We'll save Mikey." Olly spoke up before giving a thought. "But how are we gonna get those things out of Mikey before it's too late? Surgery?"
"No, I'm afraid to save Michelangelo you will have to eliminate the source directly in his mind," Zog explained.
"We can really do that?" Vee asked in surprise.
"Yes. But it's going to require psychic help." Fugitoid said while looking at Vee, Robyn and April as they nodded.
At the engine room, the whole group is gathered while the Turtles are hooked up to the head by cables. "Uh, I don't know about this." Raph said while the others are on the other side of the room with the Fugitoid at the controls and the O'Neil sisters in front of Mikey.
"Relax, this won't be any different than that time me and the girls entered your dreams," Vee assured.
"Except we didn't have cables attached to our heads." Jenny said with a brow. "Is this even possible with this thing?"
"Well the theory is sound." Fugitoid began to explain. "Venus shall use her dreamwalker power to psychically project all of you into Michelangelo's mind. You must stop the Neutrinos from taking Mikey's inner-self, at all costs!"
"Trying to navigate Mikey's brain is gonna be like trying to watch every TV show at once." Donnie pointed out, knowing that Mikey's brain is as complicated as rolling dice.
"I can't think of anything that he'd have on his mind besides pizza." Miwa also said with a chuckle.
"Don't worry." April assured. "We'll do what I can to help guide you through."
"We'll find his inner Mikey," Robyn added.
"Remember, if the Neutrinos destroy you inside his mind, your body here will be reduced to a vegetative state," Honeycutt told them, much to their shock as they all started protesting before Fugitoid pressed the button and the turtles all went wide eyes and stared blankly with groans.
The Turtles then appeared in the Jungle of Turtle Island, as their Hamato Ninpo marking were on them, "Turtle Island?" Tal said in surprise.
"How did we get here?" Leo wondered.
"No, this isn't really Turtle Island, just Mikey's memories of it," Robyn's voice spoke up as they looked down and saw her's and April's faces on two flowers. "Remember, Mikey's mind can take form into something familiar to him."
"Which may not be totally accurate because, you know, he's Mikey," April said with a smile.
"So how will know Mikey's innerself when we see him?" Raph questioned.
"My guess, he'll have his mystic markings like us," Olly said, gesturing to the glowing markings on them.
"Sounds right." Tal said with a nod.
"Come on, Ames! A hiking through the jungle we go!" Mikey's voice called out.
"That's Mikey!" Vee called as they saw Mikey and Ames walking by holding hands in the woods.
"This way!" Donnie called as they rushed up to them.
"Wait, guys!" Ames called, but Raph already got in front of the two turtles.
"Mikey! No time to play. We gotta get you someplace before the Neutrinos roll up!" Raph said as he placed his hand in front of Mikey, but it went through him and Ames like a projector that made him gasped.
"That's not him." Ames said as she walked up to them. "I remember this day. It was when Mikey and I took a romantic hike together." She said with a smile.
"Wow, kinda like holographic movies." Tal commented in surprise.
"And you two certainly did things together." Jenny said with a smirk to Ames as she looked away with a blush on her cheeks.
"But where is Mikey's Inner self?" Vee asked in wonder.
"I have a feeling that his inner self is…" Naomi tried to say before they heard a familiar scream and blasting sounds.
"I'm guessing he's that way!" Vee called as they rushed into the jungle.
A shadow of Mikey was seen on the trees as the Neutrinos started firing at him before Mikey crawled into a hollow log to hide as the Turtles arrived and skid to a stop when they saw them.
"The Neutrinos!" Donnie exclaimed.
"But I thought they were supposed to be super small!" Tal exclaimed.
One of the Neutrinio's arms had a set of tiny tentacles extrude from its arm before the came together in the form of a bio-organic blaster before shooting red lightning at them, which Naomi jumped in and created a Shell Shield to block it.
"At least we can still use our powers here!" Naomi said, keeping her shield up.
"Let's get them!" Raph called as he got into his construct and charged at the Neutrinos. "They're not so tough!" He called as he started hiding one of them, but then he saw his construct hands destroyed as he gave a shocked look before the Neutrino smacked him down repeatedly as he retreated into his shell before getting knocked into the trees.
Donnie tried to hit one with his staff but it caught it. "These guys are built like tanks!" He called before the Neutrino took his staff and whacked him up and punched him back.
"Olly! They're armor's too strong even with our powers! We gotta fall back!" Leo said before he punched away.
"Yeah, I agree, move!" Olly called as they rushed up into the forest as they saw a cave. "We can lose them in that cave!" He called as they rushed into the cave.
However, as they exited the cave tunnel, they weren't on Turtle Island anymore, but they were in a familiar sewer settlement as they rushed up and closed the door before they realized they were in the New Yorker's turtle's old home lair before it was trashed.
Leo gave a nostalgic smile at the sight, so did Raph and Donnie. "Man, I've missed the Lair." He said happily.
"I don't," Ames commented while looking at her past self when she had turtle zits with Mikey comforting her as she cringed at the memory. "The only good thing about that moment is when Mikey was there for me."
"Are we gonna keep seeing Mikey's memories with him and Ames in here?" Jenny questioned. "Because I think he got Ames stuck in his head." She added with a teasing smirk as the inner Mikey was beneath the sewer water and swam off to the tunnel.
Just then, the door through Donnie's old lab smashed opened as Raph screamed when the Neutrinos appeared. "Neutrinos!" He called as he rushed off before one of them busted through the door as the other two cut through the background and started firing at them.
"This way!" Vee called as she opened the door from Splinter's old training dojo as they rushed in while avoiding the laser shots.
Soon, the turtles all started screaming from a big fall before they crashed into the ground with a thud. "Thanks for the heads up, April and Robyn." Olly moaned as he got up while rubbing his head.
"Sorry for the hard drop. We had to get you guys out of there as fast as we could with how complicated Mikey's mind is." Robyn said as the others stood up.
"What the heck?!" Raph said in shock as they were on a checkerboard floor with red curtains around them.
"Um, I don't remember this," Vee said in confusion, "Ames?" She asked, knowing her sister and Mikey did everything together.
"Uh, I've never seen this place before," Ames said to them while looking confused herself. "Because this is like something out of a movie."
"It's not a memory." April told them. "It's his subconscious. We lost track of…" April's voice however began to grow more distant to the point where they could no longer hear it.
"Girls? Girls, can you hear us?!" Naomi called out to the O'Neil sisters.
"Did the only girls who know where we're going just vanished?!" Jenny questioned in panic.
"We might be too deep in Mikey's head, they can't reach us." Tal noted.
"Well, if so, we're totally…" Raph tried to say.
"Found Mikey!" Donnie called as he pointed ahead.
They turned and saw Mikey wearing his Dimension X gear, actually walking and talking backwards. He stopped just a bit before Ames who looked really confused, especially when his head turned a full three-sixty before resuming his backward walk and talk.
"Is he… talking backwards?" Olly asked in confusion.
"That's about a thousand times weirder than usual," Donnie said, only for a sixty-foot Mikey to stomp behind them angrily.
"WHO YOU CALLING WEIRD?!" The other Mikey yelled angrily with white eyes.
"Whoa! Big boy!" Vee exclaimed in surprise.
"Mikey calm down, it's us!" Ames called to the giant Mikey.
"HA! LIKE YOUR EVER CALM! ALL YOU DO IS YELL AND ATTACK MY BROS WHEN THEY JOKE ABOUT ME! YOU THINK I CAN DEFEND MYSELF?!" The giant Mikey yelled.
Ames flinched at the outburst while the others were shocked while Raph gave a smirk. "Now this angry version I like!" He said as he then rushed off with Angry Mikey stomping towards him.
They then heard munching as they turned and saw an overfat bloated Mikey eating pizza and his favorite foods around him while giving a tiny fart as he turned to Olly. "Feed me! Feed me!" He said in a deep voice as he got up and munched on Olly's arm while Olly shook him off.
"Okay, this one is clearly Mikey unending love to eat." Olly said, shaking the slivia off his arm. "Any chance one of these are his inner self?" He questioned.
"Angry Mikey, Glutton Mikey, Wacky Mikey," Donnie listed as Angry Mikey continued chasing Raph, "These are parts of Mikey's personality."
"Does, Mikey really think that about me?" Ames asked, looking visibly hurt by what Angry Mikey said, "Does he really hate it when I go off on you guys?" She wondered.
"Guess you don't know your turtle as well as you thought," Jenny snarked as Ames wilted a bit and Vee elbowed her.
"Aw, don't think that way, Ames. Buzz buzz!" Another Mikey said as they turned and saw a mini Mikey in his Turflytle costume standing on her shoulder. "That's just my pure rage. Doesn't know what he's saying, Buzz, buzz!"
"That must be his annoying Side." Raph said with a smirk before Angry Mikey stomped on him.
"No way! I'm the nice and funny guy. Buzz, buzz!" Nice Mikey said as he flew around. "And while I appreciate the help, Ames, it's just that, well, I kinda feel weak to you when you protect me from the others chewing my shell out and part of me doesn't like you hurting the guys since I'm kinda used to it by now. Buzz, Buzz!"
"I, I didn't realize," Ames said, surprised by what Nice Mikey said, "Why didn't you tell me?"
"I tried to, but you were too busy yelling and whipping the guys. Buzz, buzz!" Nice Mikey said with a smile. "So take my advice, next time the guys are giving us a hard time, just brush it off and be the Awesome one in the group. Buzz, Buzz!"
Ames gave a small smile at Nice Mikey before holding him and giving him a small nuzzle and a kiss on the forehead. "Thanks, Mikey. When this is all over, I'll try it your way."
"That's the smile I know and love. Buzz, buzz!" Nice Mikey said with a smile as Ames chuckled.
"Uh, as much as I hate to break up this love-feeling thing, can one of you guide us to the one true Mikey, please?" Olly asked with a brow. "Seriously, if the Neutrinos get him you all are history."
"No. But I can rap for ya." Nice Mikey said as they all started protesting, except for Ames as she smiled as Raph got up from the ground.
"Mikey, do not do that." Raph pleaded.
But it was too late. Nice Mikey had flown toward a radio and pressed a button as a catchy beat began to play. The beat caught the attention of all the other Mikeys as they began to dance to the beat as well; even Ames began to dance a little.
"Yo listen up cause!" Nice Mikey began to rap first. "You gotta find the real Michelangelo, before his mind gets wiped by a Neutrino! Now here's a primer on our line-up, so you can see me before my time's up!"
Raph and Jenny covered their ears, Donnie and Tal had their faces in both their hands while the rest of them gave weirded looks and Ames gave a small smile and a laugh.
"I'M AC CHILLED BUT I DO GET MAD!" Angry Mikey yelled as he did his rap. "WHICH MAKES ME ILL SO I TRY TO STAY RAD!"
The Glutton Mikey sprayed whip cream into his mouth before rapping himself. "I'm the hungry dude in the mood for food! If you think that's rude, you got a bad attitude!" He threw his cans away as the rap continued.
Weird Mikey danced upside down. "Teenage. Mutant. Astronaut. Picka… part my astrothoughts! Discover the center of my psyche to uncover the one true Mikey!"
"This, is, excruciating," Jenny said, looking ready to blow.
"Wait, he meant something in that," Vee said as she and the others got a hint in the Mikey's rap.
"The center of my psyche?" Naomi repeated while rubbing her chin.
"You think he means…" Leo started.
"His imagination!" Donnie finished as fireworks and cheering sounds could be shown or heard. The curtains began to move to reveal a small and crooked door with a neon sign saying 'Mikey's Imagination' at the top.
"Make sense. Whenever things get bad, he jumps into his wacky la-la land." Raph said, knowing that every time things go dire, Mikey thinks of silly thoughts in his head even in the toughest battles.
"Hey, it's his happy place," Ames said in defense. "Even I do it sometimes." She added as Olly tried to open the door, but couldn't.
"It's locked," Olly said before the slide in the door opened up to reveal Mikey's mouth.
"What's the Password?" The Mikey inside smiled as they all had knowing looks.
"Pizza!" They all said as the door opened up and started sucking them in as they screamed as they were sucked into the door before it closes.
The white in their eyes faded as the Turtles saw their new location, which made their eyes widened.
"Ho…" Leo, Vee, Olly, and Naomi started.
"...ly…" Raph, Jenny, Donnie, and Tal continued.
"...Chalupa." Ames finished at what they were seeing.
The group had entered Mikey's imagination and no one was prepared for what they saw. They rode on a massive slice of pizza that floated down a rainbow-river apparently made of paper and cardboard. Several video game characters flew in the air, along with the Dimension X Sea-Monster that flew with a rainbow sparkle trail behind it. There was even a massive living cardboard cut-out of Mighty Super Robo Mecha. Living pizzas grew from paper trees repeatedly saying 'pizza'.
No one said anything as most of them we're beyond weirded out. "You know, for some reason, I'm not entirely surprised," Olly said with a stunned expression.
They even saw people they were familiar with, such as a massive Ice Cream Kitty with other cats making a monkey sound. Some of his living toys were playing arcade games, cartoon characters like Crognard and Captain Dash Coolstar were watching episodes of 'Crognard'. Mondo Gecko, Bandit, Sally, and the mutant frogs we're skateboarding while flashing rock-on devil horns.
"So…." Donnie didn't have the words either.
"Yeah, this explains so much," Tal said with a very weirded-out expression.
"I can't decide if this absurd or traumatizing," Naomi commented with a brow.
"So where's the Inner Mikey?" Leo asked, getting back to the task at hand.
"I think we're about to find out," Olly said as the cardboard snail whale bursted water on the pizza, lifted them up high before they saw a 6-year-old Mikey, wearing a crown and with his Mystic markings, sitting on a makeshift cardboard throne with cardboard pizza boxes around him with Chris Bradford feeding him slices of pizza.
"There he is! That's gotta be the real Mikey!" Ames said with a smile as they rushed closer.
Mikey looked down and saw them as he smiled. "Dudes!" He cheered as he waved his wand and slid down the boxes.
"Mikey!" Ames said in relief as she kneeled down and hugged Mikey close to her.
"No wonder he ran away scared." Raph said with a teasing look.
"He's just a little baby Mikey." Jenny added with a baby tone.
"Makes perfect sense. I mean he never matured passed six years old," Donnie noted with a smile as Ames put Little Mikey down.
"And now all of a sudden your little kid mind makes sense," Vee commented with a smile.
"Makes me wonder if our baby sister's in there too," Olly teased, giving Ames a noogie.
"He-Hey, cut it out!" Ames said with chuckles as she pushed her brother away.
"I knew you guys would find me!" Little Mikey said. "Those freaky robot monsters were chasing me! So I hid in my imagination! Pretty cool huh? Check out my king-hat yo!" He pointed to his crown.
"Well, you're safe now Michelangelo," Naomi said with a smile.
"I hope so." Little Mikey said before he smile. "Okay, what's the plan big bros and big sis's?" He asked, only for a Neutrino arm to pierce the imaginary wall an inch away from Little Mikey's face, causing him to scream as everyone came on high alert.
Ames immediately grabbed Little Mikey and ran with everyone else as all three Neutrinos cut their way into Mikey's imagination. "Ah! It's them! DON'T LET EM NEAR ME!" Little Mikey screamed as everyone drew their weapons.
"Protect Mikey!" Olly ordered as the Turtles tried to gain some distance away from the Neutrinos as they began to shoot everyone, vaporizing the imaginary Chris Bradford in the process.
As Ames ran a Nuetrino blasted her from behind, making her yell in pain before she and Little Mikey fell down and tumbled to the ground. They then landed in the TV section surrounded by VHS tapes. "AMES!" Little Mikey cried out as he rushed up to her while the others were in front of them with their weapons raised.
"Still can't break through their armor." Raph said while holding Mikey's crown.
"It's not just armor." Donnie began to explain. "They're not created entirely out of physical matter, they're partly mental too, like us." He said as Ames got up while holding her chest.
"So what you're saying is they're made out of thoughts since this isn't the real world?" Ames groaned.
Naomi then realized what Ames said, "Amoly, you're a genius!" She cheered.
"I am?" Ames said in surprised confusion.
"She is?" The others added.
"We're not in the real world, we're in Michelengelo's world. A world that runs according to him," Naomi said as they all turned to Little Mikey with a smile.
"Why are you guys looking at me?" Little Mikey asked in confusion.
"Mikey, you see the world in a way no one else does because of your…" Leo began
"Massive and freakishly powerful imagination." Donnie continued.
"In here, inside your own mind, you're the king of it," Tal said with a smile.
"You don't have to be afraid of these guys, Little Bro," Raph said, giving the crown to Ames.
"They're on your turf now," Jenny added with a smirk.
"Here, you make the rules," Olly explained.
"Anything you can do in your imagination holds the real powers," Vee added.
Ames the kneeled down infront of Little Mikey, "So, let your mind be free and do whatever you want to kick these buttinskis out your head." She said as she gave the crown to Mikey as he gave a giggle and placed his crown on.
The Neutrinos blasted virtually everything they saw in the imagination land, including an imaginary Dave Beaver. One could say they were looking for Mikey's inner self, who was probably hiding somewhere here, or just tearing the entire place apart to leave nothing left of Mikey's mind. Little did they know, they were the ones about to get taken apart.
"Hey Butt-face!" Little Mikey called out as he sat on his hovering paper throne before snapping his fingers.
Suddenly the rest of the turtles, minus Ames, now sporting their Spirit Quest gear, Naomi wearing her Samurai armor and Olly in his Foot Clan gear, rode on atop imaginary Dragon Leatherhead, Ray, Tigerclaw, Pigeon Pete, and Koya. "Attack!" Olly ordered as he and Naomi rode on Leatherhead.
The turtles all charged at the Neutrinos as they fought them, at first, the Neutrinos had the upper hand, but they were being knocked back by the combined forces of Mikey's imaginations and the turtles abilities and their powers as they were being knocked back.
Little Mikey then blew a whistle as the rest of his imaginations, including the Party Wagon, came together with a fire wall behind them as Mondo Gecko did a neck cut as the Party Wagon revved up and crashed into the three Neutrinos as the rest of the imaginations joined in and punched them back.
The Neutrinos were then sent flying as the snail whale cutout bursted them up in the air before Ames, who was Kaiju sized, walked up. "Party's over, freaks." Ames said with a smirk as Little Mikey was on her head.
"You don't have to go home." Little Mikey said as he extended his scepter and turned it into a massive nunchuck, which Ames caught and pulled it back, "But you can't stay here!" As he swung, Ames swung the nunchuck, hitting the Neutrinos through the air and out the door to Mikey's imagination. The door slammed shut before it exploded in a flurry of fireworks.
Everyone in the imaginary army cheered in their victory as Little Mikey was brought down by Ames as she shrunk down, where he was quickly greeted by his friends and family who could only respond with cheers and hugs.
"Way to go little man!" Leo cheered, lifting Mikey up.
"Mikey for the win!" Tal said with air-devil horns.
"Great job, Mikey!" Ames called with a proud smile.
"All hail the King, baby!" Olly declared.
"BOOYAKABUNGA!" Little Mikey cheered, mixing booyakasha and cowabunga together. Everyone continued to cheer with him as the flying Sea-Monster from Dimension X flew around them and winked before flying away.
Back in reality, Professor Honeycutt had turned off the machine. Most of the group who dove into Mikey's mind looked beyond exhausted, as well as April and Robyn. While Mikey himself groaned as he woke up. "Dudes… I just had the wildest dream."
"That was no dream, Mikey." Keno said as he kneeled down to help him while the others tried to help up everyone else.
"The Neutrinos are very real. Sent to rob your mind by Belebome." Zog informed him.
"What?! That was real?!" Mikey exclaimed angrily as he took off the tube attached to his head. "Those gross jerk-faces! They were in my head!"
Mikey however spotted the Neutrinos themselves trying to escape on their tiny craft. He angrily grabbed them in-between his fingers. "Why you little…!" He ran off with them as everyone else woke up too.
"Aw, the little-seen angry Mikey." Raph said with a teasing smirk.
"So that's what Mikey looks like when he's angry." Ames commented with a giggle. "It's cute."
"Take that!" Mikey squished the Neutrinos underneath his foot.
Back in the Zethod's Cantina, Belebome sat in his personal booth with a large pile of food as he contacted his superior on his wrist-communication device. "Don't worry Lord Dregg, any minute now the Neutrinos will be back with all kinds of info on that Black Hole generator, and whatever else that stupid…" He trailed when Mikey himself slammed his foot on the table, glaring down at Belebome. It wasn't just him though, the turtles, Alopex and the human teens were there too. They disregarded the no Terran's rule as this was personal.
"Yeah… I'll call you right back." Belebome hung up before trying to play innocent. "Oh hey fellas! Can I interest ya'll in a vanarian muffin?" He offered one of his alien muffins. "They are still warm."
Olly activated his powers and burned the alien muffin Belebome was holding to ashes. "Not hungry." He said with a hint of anger in his voice.
"Now that we have your attention," Naomi started with a sneer before they all pointed their weapons at Belebome.
"Oh Boy," Belebome said, seeing he was in big trouble.
"Thought you could mind jack our friend and get away with it, huh?" Casey asked with a glare.
"Because you should know when you mess with one of us, you mess with all of us." Miwa added with a glare.
Mikey stepped up and kneeled in front of him. "There's only one way to make this right, Bellybomb! Give us that information stuff so we can save the Universe!" He demanded with a glare.
"And if you don't, you better choose which weapon you'd like to slice the eyeball off and shove down your fat mouth," Ames snarled.
"You idiots are really gonna take on the whole Triceraton army?" Belebome questioned before he gave an impressive smirk. "Heh, you're lucky I'm such a nice guy." He handed the drive to Mikey.
Ames turned to Mikey with a smirk, "May I?" She asked.
"All yours, dudette," Mikey said with a smile.
"And I'll be taking one of these." Ames said with a smirk as she snatched another alien muffin and ate it before her stomach then gurgled. She covered her mouth and gave a mighty burp as green gas covered Belebome and knocked him out cold.
"Ha! You showed that jerk how it's done, Ames." Jenny said with a proud smile as Ames gave a slight hiccup.
"Yeah, but that food has some weird taste," Ames said while fanning herself. "How'd I do, Mikey?"
"I have trained you well, my student," Mikey said in his Splinter voice and his arms crossed.
"Thanks." Ames said with a smile.
"Okay, team. Let's go get that Black Hole piece back from the Triceratons." Olly declared with a smirk. "Mikey, care to do the honors."
"I most certainly would." Mikey said before he called out. "BOOYAKABUNGA!" He declared as the others gave him proud smiles. They saved Mikey's mind and they got the intel on the Triceraton Mothership, and are one step closer to retrieving the first piece of the Black Hole generator.
There's something that's been bugging me for a while now and I need your opinion on it. I'm thinking introducing the Ninja Tribunal Acolytes (Feraji, Adam, Joi and Tora) as some of Mashimi and Amaya students, who grew up along side Alopex. Do you think I should add them in Curse of the Fox or in another Chapter?
