Chaud looked at the program Grandpa was showing him.

"What's this?" he asked. Grandpa looked up.

"It's called 'Humor.' Mr. Famous designed it. It's supposed to make a NetNavis more likely to crack jokes. Using the principle of the program, I've worked on this." he said, and brought up a second one. He pointed at it. "I'm calling it the Hero of Justice program. Hopefully it will mellow out Model O a bit." he said. Chaud heard the Biometal snarl, and he ignored it.

"Let's hope so." he said. Protoman appeared in Grandpa's computer.

"Shall I install it with the suppression program?" he asked. Grandpa nodded.

"Of course. And I'll set up our own personal Mirage so we don't have property damage if this goes south." he said. Chaud took Model O out of his pocket.

"Is the Canceller ready?" he asked. Grandpa nodded, patting the little device next to him.

"I'll start working on the PET attachment for it soon." he said. Protoman looked up from the computer.

"The Hero of Justice program is loaded." he said. Chaud jacked him out, and nodded.

"Alright." he said. He held Model O, and braced himself as always. "Model O! Megamerge!" he exclaimed. Model O flashed.

'ROCK System onrine.' it said. Chaud waited for the malicious thoughts, and the anger. But, it never came. He was so startled he lost his guard. Grandpa looked up.

"Chaud? Chaud are you alright?" he asked. Chaud looked up, blinking.

"I feel great actually. Model O is still strong, but he feels more heroic than usual." he said. He experimentally swung his sword around, twilring it a bit. His grip slipped in the middle, and the sword flew to the other side of the room. Grandpa ducked, and Chaud winced a bit. "Sorry!" he exclaimed, and dashed over to the sword. He chuckled a bit. "My bad." he said. Grandpa stared at him, and so did Protoman.

"Sir? Are you certain you feel alright?" Protoman asked. Chaud shrugged.

"I don't feel like I wanna destroy anything." he said. Grandpa pinched the bridge of his nose.

"I'm seeing some other personality changes though. Let's run the Mirage, just to make sure you have control." he said, and worked with his machines. The room shimmered, and some lazy enemies appeared. Chaud smirked a bit, leaning into attack position.

"I'm the Hero of Justice! I'll take all villains down, and ensure the peace!" he said. The enemies didn't seem to react, and Chaud frowned. "Alright then, you asked for it!" he said, and charged. Model O was laughing, and Chaud had no clue why. "I'm being heroic! Why aren't you freaking out?" he asked. Model O just laughed harder. Chaud gritted his teeth, and tore through the enemies. A few more came up, more active. Chaud switched from sabre to buster, and fired at them. All the shots missed. Grandpa ducked again.

"Chaud! Aim!" he said. Chaud blinked.

"That's weird again." he said. Protoman dragged a hand down his face.

"You are aiming five degrees to the left off each target. Aiming a little off-center might help." he said. Chaud nodded, and fired again. He struck the enemies perfectly. He grinned.

"Much better! Grandpa, I think the program is a little wonky." he said. Grandpa ran both hands down his face.

"A little wonky he says." he mumbled. Chaud holstered his buster.

"Grandpa? Are you okay?" he asked. Grandpa leaned back, sighing a bit.

"Alright, one more simulation, then I'm using the Canceller. This one I want you to go Overdrive." he said. Chaud nodded, and turned around. Enemies appeared, stationary and bulky. Chaud faced them, all ready.

"Overdrive Mode!" he exclaimed. He waited for the rush...

Aaaaaand it didn't come. He frowned.

"It's not working." he mumbled. He tried firing at the enemies, then slashing at them. He frowned. "They won't go down!" he said. He started going a little trigger happy, but he needed to figure out ways to beat these things if there was a problem, right? The enemies disappeared, and Chaud fell flat on his face. "Grandpa! I was going to take them down!" he said. Grandpa sighed as the Mirage went back down and the Canceller activated. Chaud felt Model O leave his body, and he thoroughly blinked a few times to make sure his previous memories were real. He blanched. "What on earth was I doing?!"

Model O just roared with laughter.
