Wash/Dry Story

Didi frowned as she turned on the facet only for no water to come out. "Stu? What's going on?" she called out the window. "We have no water!"

"Sorry Deed," Stu hollered back, "I had to turn it off so I could work on the sprinklers."

"But I was going to do the laundry today," Didi said with a sigh. "Well, I guess I'll have to take all the kids to the Laundromat."

Tommy and his friends perked up. They had never heard of a lawn-dur-map before! They bet it was full of amazing fun things to do! After they had been unable to see magic the other day a chance for a new adventure was-

"Come on, Didi, no need for that!" Betty proclaimed. "You can just come over to my place! Lot easier than dealin' with all the pups in there."

"Well, I guess you're right. Thank you Betty."

Charlotte walked by, talking on her phone. "Jonathan, I assure you I'll look into it, okay? Yes… yes, I will. Okay… okay, bye." She hung up. "Apparently one of my co-workers is getting their executive assistant to do their laundry! Can you believe that!?"

"Aren't there some that do do that?" Didi asked (the babies, who had been pouting over not going on an adventure, giggled at 'dodo').

"Some but not the ones at my company. They are for work, not seeing to our needs. I'm going to have to reach out to my boss about this… Jonathan was scared I'd make him do my laundry!" She laughed. "Can you imagine? Jonathan is about ready to be promoted… like I would EVER waste his time like that." She let out a little sigh as she picked up Angelica. "Jonathan can be so silly but he's such a wonderful worker. Now, let's go get OUR laundry picked up from the drycleaner."

"Hey Didi, where is Lou at?" Betty asked.

"Oh, him and Lulu went down by the pier to see the sights. Nice and relaxing."

Betty just stared at her for a long time.

"What is he really doing?"

"Just relaxing," Didi said.

"Well, that takes care of dem vampires!" Lou declared, brushing his hands off as he looked over the remains of the Lost Boys.

"I still say I could have handled it," Alucard commented from the shadows.

"Don't make me pop ya in the nose, ya Strawberry Sundae!"

"Yes sir," Alucard said meekly, Seras snickering.
