Grimwood Ghouls ep 2.
" Date? with a werewolf ! " part 1
It was nearing the end of another school day at Grimwoods finishing school for ghoul girls, and the ghouls girls were sitting at there desks listening to miss Grimwood's finishing up her lectures. all save for Winnie who apparently seemed to be staring off into space, and biting her the tip of her claw, this so happened to catch the attention of some of the other ghouls girls,,one being Elsa, who detached the stitches on her hand and made it crawl to were winnie was sitting,
it crawled up the leg of her chair on on to her shoulder. winnie broke out of her daze when she felt the hand on her.
Elsa's hand then pointed over at her to which winnie did,
on the other side where she was sitting Elsa pointed over to miss grimwood, prompting her to pay attention,
winnie sheepishy chuckle dot herself and began looking forward again, listening to miss grimwood again,
Elsa sent her hand back over to her were she re-attached it, and returned to listening to miss Grimwood as well, however as she did that, sibella looked over to see winnie start to wonder off again, and stare down onto her desk...
This really got her attention as she rubbed her chin, she had not said anything, but the past couple days she had notice winnie was acting a little strange, but nothing too out of the ordinary as her not paying attention during class was quite common for her,,..but she knew something was on her mind as of late, and well,..she was going to see if the others had notice as well,
as soon as miss Grimwood finished speaking she addressed the ghouls, "Alright then, I hope you got all that noted down" suddenly the bell wrong through the shool causing for a swarm of bats to awake around school and fly through the halls and out the windows...
" ah well, it appears that's it for today, now I hope you girls study hard, we'll having a History test on Nosferatu " she informed, she then dismissed the ghouls,
sibella then decided to take this chance to notify the others, just as they were leaving, she called them back save for winnie.
" Girls, I want to ask you something, " she stated, looking at each of them seriously
" what is it, what's going on ? " Tanis asked looking concerned
" oh, it's about winnie. " she stated,
" what do you think it was her who chewed on your slippers again, " Elsa teased while she raising an eyebrow.
sibella rolled her eyes, " no it's not that, and Ii'm pretty sure that was her, " she glared , " anyway what I want to know is, well have you notice how odd she was acting lately ? "
All the others looked at one another but it was phantasma who spoke up first.
" I did, I notice that yesterday he didn't finish her whole meal, you know that girl will usually eat the thing right off the bat, and usually lick the plate to follow, how ever there was none of that, it looked more like she was just playing with ir " she stated,
" well, I admit that is sorta strange but nothing to worry about right ? " Elsa pondered,
" well, probably but what about class she's been dazing off most of the time, " sibella added,
" yeah..like she always does , so what? "Elsa said not seeming convinced anything was wrong,
sibella rubbed the back of her head, " It just I don't know, she'd been pretty quiet lately,..which I know isn't common for her, I just think something is on her mind, "
" well there probably is, but I'm pretty sure we don't need to worry, "
" but what if something is wrong with her, and we didn't do anything to help because we didn't bother to ask ! " Tanis said sound more worried..
sibella then looked down at her, " eh, well I was only wondering , doesn't mean something is wrong, but I think it wouldn't hurt to ask her, after all your right she is our friend. " she the looked at the others hoping they would agree,
They all just nodded in agreement not seeing the harm in doing so.
" Alright then, let's go find her and see what's up. " Elsa stated.
The girls all made there way out of the class and up to where winnie's room was once they did,sibella knicked on her door,
winnie who was sitting back and relaxing on her dazing off into space again was interrupted by the knocking,
" Huh, who is it ? she called out,
" it's us winnie, " sibella said on the other side,
" oh..uh, come in I guess, " she said not sure why her friends were all wanting to see her right now,
the door soon opened as they all stepped inside her room. winnie cocked her head wondering what was up,
" so uh winnie, about class,."
" what did I leave my homework there again, I swear I'm not doing it on purpose, ! " she said looking nervous.
" what ? no this is about anything like that, "
winnie then sighed in relief " okay..because I do have it, " she said shify her eyes around...
" winnie we couldn't help but notice that...well, you been actinng a little strange the past couple days, " sibella informed her,
winnie just stared at her for a moment, then chuckled . " strange ? ,,you always think I'm strange " winnie teased..
" Told ya, " Elsa said.
sibella shook her head, " listen, what we mean is we notice you been acting odd, by not, well doing much at all."
winnie looked confused by this, " what do you mean? "
" we mean that, well you been awfully quiet. " sibella said.
" you barely been eating " Phantasma added,
" and well, you seem to be loosing more focuses in class the last couple of days,. " sibella also informed,
winnie then itched her head..." oh, eh really you notice all that ? "
" yes, of course we did, It's just not like you to behave like that." Tanis spoke,
" so we know something is up, what's bugging you ? is there something bugging you " sibella finally asked..
winnie then stood up off her bed and rubbed her arm..." well..I'll guess I'll tell you then, but I want to let you know, there isn't anything wrong, " she said,
" well then, what is it, we'll listen, " sibella said nodding to the others, who nodded back in agreement.
winnie sighed and took a deep breath..." well you see there's something I'm going to be doing tonight. " she said.
She then looked up at everyone, with a serous expression " I'm Having a movie Night at wilbies "
there were many surprised gasps that came from all the ghouls as they simply stared at winnie for a moment,
"W-what ? " The werewolf asked a bit confused.
" aaaah ! oh my gosh, winnie your going on a date ! " phantasma cheered in excitement, " now it makes sense why you were acting so weird, " phantasma said giving winnie a tight Hug, " when is it when is it ! " she yelled,
" now calm down phantasma, let her finish, " sibella told her looking rather pleased to here this news as well.
winnie looked at her a little annoyingly while lightly pushing her off, " well I wouldn't call it a date, but yes, we are going to be hanging out together, in fact it's a horror movie night, he talked about all these movies he really wanted to show, me, " winnie said thinking back.

a few days ago
" Yeah this one was just released last week, it's full of blood sucking monsters and has some pretty suspenseful moments in it " wilbie said while holding up one of his comics to show winnie, they were both sitting down in the lunge room of the school,
" heh blood sucking you say ? you mean like a vampire ? "
" oh no, more so like a Baobhan Sith " wilbie informed her,
" A what now, ? " winnie said sounding confused,
" it's just a Scottish ghoul that feeds on the blood of those traveling at night, " he said with a nod."
" uuuh okay then " she said still a little confused but quite intrigued on his knowledge of other type of ghouls.
" Man it's a shame the others aren't into the comics as much as you or me. " wilbie said
" Eh, I think it's because sibella said something about how ghouls can be portrayed negatively in them or something,. but really I just say they don't know what they are missing, cause these comics are great " winnie said ,then looked down to see another comic, " say what's that one ? "
wilbie then looked down to see her pointing at the comic " Oh that's attack if the mutant spiders,." he said,..." it's pretty good, though the movie was a joke I admit, and yet I own that as well, " he said shaking his head,
winnie then cocked her head curiously, " so hold on amovie you say ? you mean to tell me they make movies on..Horror comics ? "
" oh yeah, and not just comics but Novels as well, " he said , " not to mention some are just made out of originality. " he exclaimed. he then looked her, " say..have you ever seen a horror movie before ?
winnie rubbed the back of her head.." eh..well I can't say that I actually have..I never got to watch TV before, "
" oh well, just imagine those Horror comics I showed you, But the scenes playing out with real people acting them, " he explained,
winnie looked rather pleased at the thought " that would be pretty amazing to see,, " she said,
wllbie then got an idea, " well, then why don't you come and I show you some, you and I have a lot of the same taste in Horror comics, I'm sure you'd love the movies based off them, "
winnie could feel her little tail start to wag a little, l clearly being fond of the idea, " hey, you know what ?that sounds like it could really be fun Idea, I'd love to check em out ! " she said excitedly
wilbie smiled gladily knowing that she liked the Idea," sweet, then how about you come around my place, Friday evening , like 6:00 ? " he suggested,
winnie nodded, " sounds like a plan " she said.

back in present time...
" so, yeah...I'll be heading over to wilbie's for this Movie night, and well..being invited to a human home alone does have me a little...nervous. " winnie Admitted.
she then couldn't help notice all the girls were looking at her with overly happy expressions, with lot's of glee in their eyes, and she couldn't help but feel a little creeped out by that,
" uh you okay ? " she asked,
" oh winnie, that's the sweetest thing I ever heard " Tanis said sweetly
" Just think our winnie, on a date, " phantasma giggled.
winnie looked confused she then mockingly rolled her eyes " look It may be a "date" but not that that kind of date, " she tried to explain.
" I mean the only reason he didn't invite you guys was because he thought you wouldn't be interested in it, " she said, she then sighed.." and now I got to be there in a few hours you see,
sibella then widened her eyes.." a few hours you say oh winnie, what do you plan to wear !? how will you behave ! " she said sound a little frantic
winnie just looked at her confusingly " what do you mean, why should that matter, it's just a movie night, I'm sure all were going to do is eat some Spider Egg popcorn or something ? "
sibella then approached her and placed her hands on her shoulder.. " but winnie don't you see, you been invited over to someone's place, !? "
" yeah so? we been to wilbie's place before, " winnie mentioned
" yes, but this time it's just you for a special planned event at that, just for the two of you, alone " she said with a serous tone,
winnie didn't know why, but her saying it like that made her feel a little awkward now, she rubbed the back of her head as a result,
" I mean winnie, don't you want to make a good impression, He and his mother will be getting some time to know you now more and well, everyone can always do there best to act um. well...there best, " she stated, not sounding like she knew how to put that,
" Look I'm sure it won't matter how I act..I mean what's the worst that could happen from me just being myself, " winnie questioned , she then notice all the girls awkwardly looking around, appearing not to wanting to have to answer that question...
" oh come on you really think i'm that bad, ? " winnie said sounding almost offended..
" oh no we never said that...it's just you can be a bit careless with yourself..as in..you you present yourself," sibella stated,
winnie then raised an eyebrow, " oh really, then please explain to me how I do that, "
" well, for starters your always seen picking at your ears, and occasionally your nose, " sibella said with a slight eye roll " and your fur is really scruffy as you hardly clean it, that's a fact, and well..your table manners are very...laid back is what I'll say, "
winnie then looked down at herself, seemingly examining her appearance,..." eh well..its just well I don't think anyone other then you would have a problem with those, " she pointed out,
" listen winnie , we only want to help you make this first date, be a good and memorable one, which is why I think you should let us help you prepare for this Night, " sibella proposed, " what do you say girls. "
Phantasma then let out an excited squeal , " oh ! I love the sound of that, we can teach her how to be all proper like , not to mention give her a complete makeover ! "
all the others seems to be very fond with that idea,...well save for winnie who seemed more dissatisfied with that thought,
" eh ?look I'm flattered you' want to do all that for me...but I think I'll pass on those offers " she said wavy her paws nervously " and beside i don't think we have time for that sorta thing, "
" Nonsense winnie, I know we can do it, after all, your friends with a Dracula, and well my father has taught me all the things in fine dinning and upper class standards, " she said proudly " you'll defiantly be able to use a few things out of that, "
" Ugh, makes we wonder why your parents even sent you to a finishing school then " winnie said sarcastically.
Sibella ignored that comment and turned to the others, " alright girls, let's turn this werewolf into the one civilized canine " sibella said rubbing her hands together...
all Winnie could do at this point was gulp bracing herself for what lies ahead...
