Winnie had began making her way down the old road that let into the town of shadehaven, on her way over to wilbie's for their date movie Night, of course not after having been given a new do over on her dress style, and a quick session on how to act well mannered when invited somewhere. yes indeed it seems like she had nothing to worry about now, well that's what she would say, if she didn't feel like a complete fool...
truth be told she hated the dress, and she hahted the fact of being seen in it by anyone, but she did want to impress wilbie and his mother, she didn't want them to think she was a horrible guest or anything, but..she didn't know if she could keep up with this whole charade...and she didn't even start it yet.
winnie sighed to herself as she made her way past the calloway school. hoping none of the boys there caught a glimpse of her passing by, nd to her wishes they were not seen anywhere out side, meaning she'd not have to worry about that at least, honestly though, she should not feel embarrassed about how she looks after all, this is what the others say would be for the better, even if this wasn't her sort of thing, perhaps maybe, just maybe she could pull it off, she then stopped dead in her tracks, which was by the old cemetery, she knew that this was the boarder of the Town limits into shade haven,
" Well better put this to the test then. " she took one more confidant breath and began to make her way into the town.
as she did she could start to see more and more houses and cares appearing by as she did, she took no worry to them as she did, she simply began strutting her way down the walkway, How ever she couldn't shake off the stares she could feel piercing her
Now being a werewolf she would often get stares from people all the time. specially when walking into a human town, but this time. knowing how she was dressed. it did make her feel a little more self conscious, she awkwardly chuckled to herself as a result, but tried to brush it off,
she continued to make her way through the town, not paying attention to any other stares she may have gotten.
However the deeper into town she got, the more the stares continued, and no matter what she did, she could not ignore those.
" come on winnie. there is nothing to feel so ashamed of , " she spoke to herself allowed, she gazed around, it was a Friday evening. so she could see that there were indeed a lot of young people out about, from teens to adults.
winnie just forced a smile as she continued on her way, however as she did, she happen to catch the attention of a few teenage girls who were passing by, busily chatting as they did, but one of them stopped when they notice winnie.
" aw, take look at her, " she said nudging one of them next to her.
" is that one of them ghouls ? " the other said sounding like she was not sure that would be a good or bad thing if she was.
" oh yes. she's a werewolf i think, an adorable one at that, " the third one said looking at her like she was a little puppy.
winnie just stared at them not sure how to respond, she didn't really enjoy the attention of being seen as cute and the comments made her blush a little in embarrassment, but she did her best to play it cool, , after all she had to admit. it was a positive reaction then how one would normally react to seeing a werewolf on the streets.
" oh I wish I had a camera, " one of the girls said holding her hands together.
" I just love your cute little dress. were did you get it, " another asked.
winnie sheepishly chuckled, feeling really embarrassed now, she really wanted to get out of here before anyone else saw her, she quickly looked around for a place to dart to and get out, she notice the girls were not looking at her but all seemed to be facing there one friend now.
" hold on girls i think I have a camera in my purse " she said rummaging through it, while the other girls watched her do so.
winnie quickly used this moment to slip away, and she did just that, she ran down the sidewalk hoping not to be stopped by anyone else.
" hey ? were did she go ? " she could here one of the girls say,
winnie however didn't stop running until she was sure she was far enough away from them, she did't want to be the centre of that kind of attention again,
she let out a sigh when she was sure she would not be bothered by them again, however her moment's of relief were cut short as she hear another too familiar voice behind her,
" oh my gosh it that who i think it is ? "
winnie's sprite shattered when she heard that voice, she winced as she slowly turned around to see the two people she wish she'd never have to see again...There standing there looking at her were Amber and Amanda, the Langley sisters, known to be the most annoying spoiled and rotten kids in town..
" well well, if it isn't winnie, at first I thought i was mistaken, but on closer inspection there was no doubting it was you," Amber chuckled sinisterly to herself,
" yeah, I would have never thought to see you...looking like this, what's the matter winnie loose a bet or something " Amanda teased.
winnie rubbed the back of her head trying to find a something to say. " uuh, what are you kidding me ? I uh..well i thought i'd be nice to...try a new look " she nervously chuckled hoping they'd buy it and be on there way, however that'd most likely be wishful thinking on her part.
" oh is that so, well gee winnie. I'm sure an astonished you'd go as far as to do such a thing, cause from what I recall, you always were the worst of your little gang, " amanda smirked.
" I know, she doesn't even smell like a rotten pile of garbage anymore, something is defiantly amiss here, " Amanda added while examining her with her eyes,
" oh no no, I certainly am doing this for a purely trying a new thing " she said feeling the sweat beginning to form on her.
" oh is that so, well I'd say your off to an..okay start, " Amber said with a devilish look.
" r-really what do you mean ? " winnie said twiddling her claws, she then stopped when she realized it.
" oh I don't know, your outfit is cute I guess. but really, if you want to make a new change, you really need to get into it, " Amanda giggled. " like you should really consider getting those claws of your trimmed, " she snickered.
" hey maybe we can help her become a total fashion gal like us, " Amber giggled, " we can teach her all sorts of things, "
winnie shuddered at the thought of being anything like them, much more there friends,
" oh, we can go and get manicures and pedicures together. " amber said with a small chuckle " and do each others makeup, I know we'd have great looks for you winnie. you'd looks simply adorable when we'd be done with you.
winine felt like she was going to gag a little, " look...um thanks for the..Ideas, but I really need to get going now, " she said.
" what's the hurry win''s don't ya want to talk about how you want to be a total girly girl, you'd fit in much better around here if you did those things. " Amanda said stepping behind her.
" uh..No..It's just I'm going to be late fore something important, " she tried to explain.
" Important, were's the fire, you act like your on a date or something, " Amber teased her,
winnie just looked a little nervous e when she heard her say that,
" wait a minute...No way she does have one, you are on a date. " Amanda said like she was about to burst out laughing,
" No, t's not like that " he tried to explain again to them.
" oh jeeze, can you believe it, I bet that's why you are dressed like this, Which I will admit now, you look extremely silly . anyone dating you would think so too, " Amber said holding her sides as she laughed,
winine was much too Embarrassed say anything defensive back now, she just wanted to get out of here now,
" I wouldn't even dress up out dog like that at all, " Amber laughed..
winnie quikly looked around for a place to get away, she saw an area she could go, she wasted no time and quickly darted away from the scene, leaving the sisters laughing to themselves..
winnie ran down the sidewalk until she made it to a cross walk in the road, she stopped to catch her breath, running in this that stupid dress too a lot of energy from her, once she caught it again she looked around, and notice to her horror, she was standing in a middle of a crowd of people,
winine could feel her body go cold, the words of the sisters echoed around in her head, that she looked silly and ridiculous, she could not get that thought out of her head, specially sense she already felt a little self conscious
about this whole ordeal, winnie's mind then imaged everyone suddenly laughing and pointing at her, taunting her and calling her names.
winnie bit her lip as the imaged began to feel more and more real..the laughing the taunting the mocking comments.
she let out a yell as she finally panicked
" NOOOOOOOOO ! " she yelled with arms in the air, getting the attention of all those round her, though they had no idea what she was yelling about,
she then ran off frantically, leaving a bunch of pedestrians to walk on on confusion...
winnie ran as frantically as she could, trying her best not to trip over her dress, she looked around hoping not to be notice by anyone else. her hopes finally seemed to come true as she realized sh was no alone in the streets, she let out a sigh as she wiped a bit of sweat off her face, she then gazed around as she notice she was in a quiet neighborhood now, which would explain why there was so few people out,
she then notice that the street address was the same as wilbie's, she had finally made it to where he lived,
She sighed in relief finally happy this long walk had come to an end, she quickly strolled down the street until she found his house, she put on a toothy grin as she was about to make her way over to it, but stopped herself, after all she been through, she needed to calm her thought's everything that had just happened was all in her mind thanks to the Langley sisters, and she needed to push that out of her head .
she took a quick moment to breath before building up the confidence. she was now ready to got through this night with no more side thoughts,,
" now just remember what your friends taught you, you want to impress them. " she told herself, she then made her way up to the front door where she began knocking on it, and in no time at all the door soon opened having been Answered by Wilbie who looked rather excited,
" Hey winnie, glad you- " he however cut himself off as his eyes nearly bulged out in a surprised if not shocked look.
" I uh, am glad you are here, " he then said tilting his head appearing to examine her,
" oh * ahem * hi wilbie, I am uh ready for our movie night, " winnie tried to say in her most polite and kind voice, just like her friends taught her,
" um please do come in . "he said still looking shocked..
winnie simply nodded as she made her way inside, she made sure to wipe her paws on the doormat before doing so,
" um, I uh that's an interesting get up winnie...were'd you get it " he said still trying to process all this,
" oh you like it it was just something I had lying around.. ? " she said doing a small curtsy, however she felt more awkward in her head from having done that, bit it was what her friends had told her to do,
" I uh...think it's...something for sure, " he said rubbing the back of his head..he then stopped and began to speak some more,
" uh so anyway win's. I bet your ready for the movie then tonight, I picked an awesome one I know you'll love. but first my ma is making us dinner, "
just as he said that His mother walked into the room, " sweetie is your friend here- " she also cut herself off when she was winnie standing there in that dress and a bow on her head.. " Oh my goodness, winnie you look so cute ! " she exclaimed " I didn't expect to see you wearing something like that, it looks adorable on you, " she said gocking at her
winine blushed a little, having been called cute again was not very appealing to her, but at least she was making a good impression so far as it appears,
" well it's nice for you to come and accompany my son on this movie night, It's actually his first so it should be special for you both. " she said with an Innocent smile
" Mom " wilbie grumbled..she he then turned back to winnie, " heheh well, how I about I show you some things in my room before we eat ? "
" oh, I would find that delightful " she winnie waid with a polite nod, to wich only gained a light confused expression from wilbie,...
Outside,
" Alright girls we are finally here, " sibella said as they stood outside wilbie's house,
" sure is a busy night out, i mean did you hear those three girls talking about a cute werewolf they saw, " Elsa said
" it seems winnie's off to a good start then, " phantasma giggled,
" well lets see how things are going on inside, let's find a place to hid out here, " sibella said motioning for them to fallow her.
