Ch. 6: Charge it Up!

The Planters are on the sofa in the living room minding their own business until a loud scream from Anne stops them for what they are doing and looks at the basement door where Anne opened and appeared out from.

"Guys, guys, guys, guys, guys! Look!" Anne said as she showed them her phone.

"What are we looking at here?" Polly asked.

"Suspicion Island." Anne answered as she showed what was on her phone. "It's like my favorite show. I got the new season and didn't even know it. My phone must have auto-downloaded it before I got here."

"Who's this "Auto?" Sprig said.

"And how did you download him?" Polly said as she pushed Sprig's head down so that she could have a clear view of Anne.

"Just watch." She said as she hit the recap button on her phone.

An announcer was then heard. "Previously on Suspicion Island…"

Four humans, two male and two female, are walking in the jungle.

"I have a lot of feelings about this place." The dark skinned girl said.

"Look, more Annes!" Sprig said as he pointed toward the phone's screen as he looked at the humans.

"Haha, they have noses." Polly said.

"I feel like everyone on this island is suspicious, Peruvia, except you!" The blonde guy said.

"But, Randy, I think you're suspicious!" Peruvia said as she swatted his hand off her face.

"Nooooo!" Randy said dramatically.

An explosion was created then Peruvia is shown to be in a cave full of animal skulls while holding a candle.

"Suspicion Island. If you don't stay suspicious you won't stay alive." The announcer said. More explosions were seen as the show shifted back to its title.

"What it's this demonic nonsense?" Hop Pop said with annoyment in his voice.

Anne said to him, "Hop Pop, this show has beautiful people doing dumb things while stuff explodes! It's literally perfect."

"Awesome!" Sprig said.

"Let's do it!" Polly said in excitement.

"Now hold on! Instead of that garbage, how about I treat you to some real entertainment?" Hop Pop said.

"Oh no." Sprig and Polly said in unison, knowing what Hop Pop is about to do.

As he brought out a scroll from his jacket, he said, "A scene from, "The Shallow Pond". He cleared his throat, opened the scroll and began reading the scene aloud. "Sadness. The world is sadness. But, look there, a pond! Is it deep or shallow?"

Anne, Sprig, and weren't convinced by Hop Pop that the poem was entertaining, so they chanted, "Suspicion Island! Suspicion Island! Suspicion Island!"

"Ok, fine!" Hop Pop shouted which caused Anne, Sprig and Polly to cheer happily.

"Before we start binge watching this, I'm gonna call Coco to see if she and Crash wanted to see Suspicion Island." Anne said as she quickly used her phone to get Coco to answer.

She showed up on her phone's screen and said, "Hi there, Anne? Is there something you need to tell us?"

"Yeah, it's about…" Anne suddenly stopped talking when she saw a pink kart behind Coco. "Is that a go kart?" She said, changing the subject.

Coco looked back at her kart and said. "It's just a kart, Anne, but it won't be for long. I'm designing it to have the maximum performance in any track, terrain or hazards!"

"Yeah, sure it is." Anne said, as she doubted what Coco said to her. "So, why are you working on it?" Anne asked.

"There's going to be a grand prix in N. Sanity Island in the future. Here, look at this." Coco said as she typed her computer which made a video to appear on Anne's phone.

A bunch of karts are shown driving around tracks which include a cove, a ruined temple, inside a giant area, and through a lab.

"Coming soon, the N. sanity Grand prix!" The announcer said. "And here's your hosts to tell you about the upcoming event, Chick 'N' Stew!"

"Greetings, race fans, I'm Chick Gizzard Lips and this is my co-host, Stew." Chick said. "We're here to tell you about the upcoming grand prix, where deranged lunatics will compete in daring challenges."

"You got that right, Chick." Stew said. This event is getting me clucking in excitement! Racers will need to keep their wits up and watch their six to avoid getting scrambled on the track!"

"Yes, indeed, Stew. Now, let's give a glimpse of the upcoming racers coming." Chick said.

The screen changed to show five racers driving around a snowy track. All of them were female bandicoots. As they appeared closer to the screen Polly said, "Hey, it's more Cocos!"

"That's just Tawna and Nitro Squad, Polly." Coco said to her.

"You know them?" Sprig asked.

"Hmm-mmm." Coco said. "Tawna is actually a friend of ours. She was even Crash's girlfriend for a while. As for the others, there's Isabella, Ami, Liz, and Megumi."

The screen changed to show an Aztec- like pyramid and a few more racers. One of them was a tribal leader, another was a muscular koala and the last one was a gorilla kangaroo hybrid.

"What is up with those racers?" Anne said.

"I'll tell you who they are." Coco said. "The big guy is named Papu Papu. He is a tribal leader in a village in N. Sanity Island. Those other two are Koala Kong and Rilla Roo. They are mutants just like me and Crash."

"First, five others bandicoots and now a pumped up koala and gorilla with a butt for a face. You never told us there were other mutants besides you and Crash." Anne said with the Planters confused about the animals they are talking about.

Coco tells her, "Yeah, I figured you four would have found out sooner or later. But, like Aku Aku said, Crash was supposed to be a general for a mad scientist's army but he managed to escape. Once he did, that scientist tried to do the same thing for me, but I escaped by tricking him into thinking an escape hatch is a testing chamber. It was…not a great experience to put it lightly."

Anne was about to ask who this mystery scientist was, but was cut short by Chick 'N' Stew reappearing.

"Well, that's all for today, race fans. Be ready for the races as we head towards the season. Drive fast and keep clucking that engine. Chick said.

"N. Sane Grand Prix. Sponsored by Von Clutch's Motorworld. For the racers who are completely out of their minds and want to be destructive in their racing." The announcer said. The screen minimized to show Coco again.

"Oh…my…frog." Sprig said.

"That was AWESOME!" Polly shouted.

"Great, just what this family needs. More demonic nonsense!" Hop Pop said sarcastically.

"So, that's what I'm doing." Coco said. "Now, why did you call here?"

"My phone auto-downloaded the next season of Suspicion Island, and I want to know if you and your brother wanted to watch it with us." Anne told her.

Coco said to her, "My brother is busy playing Wumpa Volleyball with Aku Aku, but I can watch, but I still need to work on my kart, so don't expect to completely watch it if at all."

"Hold on!" Hop Pop said. "If we're doing this, then we're only gonna watch one. Got it?" Anne, Polly and Sprig nod as they pretend to listen to Hop Pop, but they plan to binge watch the show.

Late that night, everyone was still watching Suspicion Island. Hop Pop still wasn't interested in it while Anne, Sprig, and Polly have been engrossed at the screen with bloodshot, veiny eyes. Coco tried to get interested in it, but she was so busy working on her kart, she barely saw anything.

"It can't be Vivica. These pterodactyls are clones of… my dead brother!" Chad said.

Anne gasped and said "No way!"

Sprig and Polly's mouth were wide open as they couldn't believe it themselves. Hop Pop just grumbled as he rolled his eyes away from the screen. A pterodactyl quickly takes Vivica into the sky.

"NOOOOOO!" Chad said.

The screen split into four to show all four teens.

"Will these beautiful teens ever make it off the island? Find out next time on…" The announcer was cut off by Anne touching the screen which paused the video. Coco stopped working on her kart when she heard the video stopped.

"And… that's enough for tonight." Anne said.

"Aw, come on." Sprig said who was disappointed that Anne stopped the video.

"This is torture!" Polly said to Anne.

"Trust me, guys. You got to pace yourself with this stuff." Anne said to them.

"All right, you two grubs. Off to bed." Hop Pop said which caused Sprig and Polly to groan as they fell off the sofa and walked to the stairs.

"How am I supposed to sleep without knowing what happened to Vivica and Chad?" Sprig said as he walked up the stairs.

"Stupid sleep! I wanna watch it right now!" Polly said.

"So, how was it, Coco? You must love Supsion Island now!" Anne said to her.

"Well, I wasn't paying attention since I was working on my kart, but I'm getting close to finishing it." Coco said, with Anne just pouting at what she said. "Next time, I'll be sure to keep my attention. And I'll try to get Crash along to watch. See ya!" The monitor fades to black as Coco disappears from the screen.

Anne looked at Hop Pop and said with a grin on her face, "So, what do you think, Hop Pop? Better than that boring stuff you read to use right?"

"That boring stuff is called literature, Anne." Hop Pop said as he hopped off the sofa and headed to a door. "And maybe you have an ounce of culture, you won't reject it in favor of your substandard, puerlie garbage show!" He slammed the door afterwards.

"Sheesh, tell me how you really feel." Anne said. She then yawned and said, "Nup, nup, nup." while headed to the basement to go to sleep. She unexpectedly left her phone on the living room's table. Soon, a shadowy figure appeared as it quickly moved to the living room. The figure sees Anne's phone and hit play counting where the last episode of Suspicion Island left off.

The next day on N. Sanity island, Coco was finishing the final touches on her kart.

"I think that should do it." Coco said. "Time to Amphibia and see that show fully." Crash and Aku Aku appeared from the Bandicoots House. "You guys! Anne got this new show on her phone and has been saying it is one of favorite shows. I'm headed to Wartwood to catch up and see if it is any good as she says. Want to join?"

"Ok, we'll join, but why are you interested in her show?" Aku Aku said with Crash nodded yes.

"I didn't see it fully, because I was so busy with my kart. So, I'm gonna watch it to catch up and see if it's any good as she says. Now let's get going!" She said.

All three of them head to the warp room and into the portal to Wartwood, but unknown to them, all of them are heading to a different location in Wartwood on the other side.

A portal opened and Coco came out. As she looked around she was surprised that she's nowhere near the Planters' house.

"Where am I?" Coco said. She looked up and saw that she was near a giant tea shaped building called Felicia's Tea Shoppe. "This isn't the Planters' house. We must have flown off course somehow. Crash we better…" As she looks around, she notices that her big brother and Aku Aku are with her. "Neither of them are here with me either? I wonder where they went."

Another portal opened in Woods of Wartwood and Crash fell headfirst on the ground.

"Crash, looked like something went wrong when we went inside the portal." Aku Aku said as he looked around.

Crash gets up and sees that they are on the outskirts of Wartwood. As he continues looking, he starts to look scared as he sees a green mantis, the same one from when they first came to Amphibia, right behind him. The mantis looked at them both, but they both ran back to Wartwood before it could react. The mantis just shrugged and headed back into the woods.

Aku Aku said to Crash, "I just don't get it. How did we end up in the woods? We better find Coco to figure this out."

Coco made it to the Planters' house and was about to enter the front door until she heard Anne telling the Planters to head to the living room to continue watching Suspicion Island.

"Come on, guys! It's time to get "suspicious." Anne said who is holding snacks. She hits a button on the bottom of her phone and the screen showed Suspicion Island, but before she can picked the next episode, her phone shows that it's batteries are low. "Wait, what?!" She shouted.

This causes the Planters to come into the living room to wonder what's up with Anne. Hop Pop was holding a spatula and a cooking pan.

"What's wrong, Anne?" Sprig asked.

"What's all the ruckus?" Hop Pop said as he wanted to know why Anne was shouting.

"Why were you screaming?" Polly said.

"My battery is low, but it was fine last time when I turned it off." Anne said.

Coco opened the door and said, "Ah-ha! So that was the problem!"

"Coco! How did you know what we're talking about?"

"I heard you from outside. This house's walls are surprisingly not soundproof." Coco said. "Anyway, your low phone battery is also related to a problem we're having with the warp room portals. When you use that scanner, it makes a signal that not only connects to my laptop, but also it's connected to your phone's battery life. If it low then that means the signal is weaker, meaning the portals are taking us to random locations again. It's also the reason why when Crash, Aku Aku, and I went into the portals, we weren't anywhere near this house, instead we were sent somewhere else in Wartwood. Now, I have no idea where they are."

Anne checked to see the episode list and saw that all the episodes from the season have been watched.

"Watched? Who watched all these episodes and used up all the…" Anne starts to freak out when her phone battery is nearly depleted. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!" She said as she rapidly hit her phone screen, but it ended up dying and shutting off on her. Her mouth was wide open as she stopped looking at her phone. "It's gone."

"What's gone?" Sprig asked.

"Everything!" Anne shouted at Sprig. "My pictures, my texts, videos of my cat! Now all my memories from home are gone." She started to hyperventilate and curl up as she continued to freak out.

"Um, there, there?" Sprig said who was about to pat Anne, but she swatted away his hand.

"Oh, was it you?!" Anne said to Sprig while pointing at him.

"What?! No!" He said as he knew he wasn't guilty. "I-I didn't watch anything! It must have been Polly." Sprig points toward Polly as he thinks she's the guilty one.

"What?!" Polly said.

"I even heard her getting up in the night. Very suspicious." He said.

"I needed to pee!" Polly said to him. "Plus, if you heard me, you were awake too. You're the suspicious one!"

"Don't change the subject!" Sprig said.

"Wait, wait, wait, wait! What about Hop Pop?" Polly said as she pointed towards Hop Pop.

"Heh, me? In case you forgot, I despise that garbage." Hop Pop said.

"Exactly." She said as she hopped near Sprig. "Maybe you ran down the phone so we had to listen to your boring play!"

"Oh, that's good." Sprig said.

"That is preposterous!" Hop Pop said.

"And then there's also Coco!" Polly said as she shifted her focus to her.

"Me? What about me?" Coco said to Polly.

She told her, "You were so busy with your kart, you didn't even watch it, so you must have warped here, watched the episodes to catch up, then headed back to your world while draining the phone's batteries at the same time."

"That makes a lot of sense." Sprig said to her sister.

"Have that show completely taken your sight of reality, or have you been sleeping in poisonous swamp water?!" Coco said. "That's completely untrue, and it doesn't make any sense in the long term! Her phone needed to stay charged so that I could make portals around Wartwood without them appearing in some random spot!"

Anne looked at them all as they argued until finally show growls and said, "Enough! If none of you are going to admit to it, the least you can do is to help me fix my phone!"

"Fair enough, Anne." Hop Pop said. "How do we bring this thing back to life? Magic? Life sacrifice? I know a guy in town…."

"It's a phone, not some ritual." Coco said. "The batteries just need to be recharged."

"And how do we "recharge" it?" Polly asked.

"With power. Electricity!" Anne told him.

"What?" The Planters said as they were still clueless of Anne's world.

Anne explained what she meant by simply saying, "Who knows, zap, zap?"

"Zap, zap?" Hop Pop said as he placed the spatula near his head. He thinks he knows what Anne is talking about. "Oh, I think I know what you're talking about."

Crash and Aku Aku came from the front door. Crash was out of breath from running from the woods.

"About time you two make it!" Coco said. "We figured out how we were ported to different locations.

"So, what happened?" Aku Aku said.

Coco told them both, "It turns out someone was using Anne's phone so they could watch the entire season of Suspicion Island. That someone drains its battery dry so the signal between her phone and my laptop is gone. We need to recharge it and Hop Pop thinks he knows something that might help."

"Indeed I do!" Hop Pop said to Crash and Aku Aku. "Now, with no more distractions, Quickly! to my study!" Hop Pop said.

At Hop Pop's study, he brings out a book called, "The beasts of Amphibia". Anne and the others are looking behind the study's door.

"I heard of a creature called The Zapapede that lives deep in The Misty Peaks. Hop Pop said as he opened the book and pointed at a bring on top of the peaks. "It zaps its prey with a small spark of lighting. It's pretty cool actually."

"Sounds like it's worth a shot." Anne said. "So, how far away is this bug, HP?"

"Don't call me, HP." Hop Pop said as he doesn't like the nickname Anne gave him. He got off the chair and answered what Anne said to him. "It's half a day's travel, but that should be no trouble for this gang."

As Hop Pop points and Sprig, he swatted his hand away and said, "Oh yeah? Well, that's just what Chad Vanderblad said. Right before he was stabbed in the back by a backstabber on Suspicion Island!" Sprig points toward Hop Pop with both of his hands several times.

"Watch where you're pointing that finger." Hop Pop said as he swatted Sprig's hand that was pointing at him.

"I would never stab Chad in the back." Polly said as she hopped off Sprig's hat. "But one of you four would." She starts to point at Sprig, Hop Pop, Crash and Coco.

"Really? You three are the most likely to double cross someone!" Coco said as she pointed towards the Planters. Crash is unsure if he should get involved in this.

"Hey, everytime both of you point, two fingers point back!" Sprig said as he looked at his pointing hand.

Polly looked at her hand but seeing that her hand was just a stub, she shouted, "That doesn't make any sense!"

"Hey! Hey, hey, hey, hey!" Anne said, getting everyone's attention. "You're all suspicious. Just look at you." The Planters started to look nervous, proofing Anne's point. Crash and Coco looked at each other then looked at Anne again. They know they didn't do anything, but they know it's gonna be hard to convince them. "Now come on. Let's get going. The sooner we move, the sooner I get my memories back." She headed out of the study.

Sprig, Polly and Hop Pop squirt their eyes, grunt while pointing two fingers at each other to say they're keeping an eye on you. Polly just squinted as Sprig and Hop since she has stubby hands. All three head out of the study, only for Sprig to pop back in to do the two finger point at a clock and then at Crash and Coco before heading out again.

Crash was about to point two fingers at him only for Aku Aku to say, "Don't play along with this, Crash. Let's just help her recharge her phone."

"Agreed. The sooner we charge it, the sooner they'll stop blaming us." Coco said as they leave the study.

At the bottom of The Misty Peaks, Crash and Coco are ahead of Anne and the Planters.

"What is with Polly and Sprig blaming us on what happened to Anne's phone?" Coco said to his brother. "Watching that show really must have made them superstitious about everything." Crash was wondering as well. "Oh, well. Let's just find this zapapede so they can stop pointing the finger at us." They continue going up the mountain with Anne and the Planters following behind.

As they walk up the path, Sprig plays his fiddle and sings about what they are doing. "A group of misfits that distrusts each other on a dangerous mission, like the nearly naked humans on the island of suspicion, Peruvia, Felica, and Randy, so hot, beguiling, hostile-ing, we're all Suspicious isle-ing."

"Quiet, boy." Hop Pop said as he lifted his hand in front of Sprig. They are at the bridge of Misty Peaks, and finally caught up with Crash, Coco, and Aku Aku. "Look, there's one now!" The clouds covering the mountain shifted away from the to show a spiked yellow centipede sleeping. "A zapedede!"

"Oh, looks pretty cute." Anne said as she liked how it looked.

Coco brought out her camera and was about to take a picture of the zapepede, but not until Anne said, "You're gonna take a picture of it?"

"What, I don't want to see that bright light again!" Polly shouted.

"Me neither!" Sprig said, covering his eyes with his hands.

"Don't worry, you guys." Coco said as she took the picture of the zapedede. "I turn off the flash this time, so you three won't go into a panic again."

Music playing: Road to Nowhere, The High Road, N-Sane ver.: Crash 1

Sprig step on the crooked bridge and it starts to wobble, showing that it's on its last legs.

"Step lightly everyone. This thing doesn't look like it can take much weight." Hop Pop said.

"We'll just stay here so the bridge won't give way to all our weight." Coco said.

"Yeah, just so you can stab one of us in the back." Polly said as she looked suspicious at her.

Coco just sighed while Anne and the Planters walked on the rickety bridge as she didn't want to get involved with their tomfoolery.

You know, seeing this bridge reminds me of the bridges back on the islands, minus any warthogs or turtles to make us fall to our doom. Coco said to Crash who looked at the bridge who was thinking the same thing.

Sprig starts to yawn which has Hop Pop suspicious about him.

"Sup, HP?" Anne said to Hop Pop while placing her hand on his shoulder.

"Sprig sure looks tired doesn't he?" He said. "Awfully suspicious. And don't call me HP."

Polly, who was on Anne's shoe, said. "The old man's a lying snake, but he does have a point."

Sprig keeps walking despite them talking about him behind his back. He suddenly stopped and quick turned and said while pointing at them, "You guys talkin' scum?"

"What? No, no, no, no, no!" Hop Pop said.

Sprig just looked at them all with doubt. "Psst, Anne!" He said to her.

Anne groans and says to Hop Pop while pushing him aside to get though, "'scuse me, HP." This caused Hop Pop to grumble as Anne ignored what he just said to her about that nickname.

Once she got near Sprig, he waved his hand to come closer, to which Anne keeled down. Both of them looked like Hop Pop and Polly as well as Crash and Coco who are still watching from bridge's end.

"I want to find out who's guilty just as much as you do. Let me help you." Sprig said to her.

"Oh no, you don't!" Polly shouted as she hopped near them. She knows that Sprig is trying to get Anne on his side. "You were trying to Chad her into trusting you!"

"And you're trying to Vivica into not trusting me!" Sprig said.

"Oh, and look at Hop Pop trying to Randy his way out of this!" Polly said.

"I don't know what that means!" He exclaimed.

"Then there Coco who Peruvia into thinking were the suspicious ones!" Polly said as she look back towards her. Coco couldn't hear them, but she got a hunch that they were talking about her again.

"Guys, cut it out! You're gonna…" It was too late for Anne to tell them as the bridge broken in two which caused her and the Planters to go into a free fall.

Music Ending: Road to Nowhere, The High Road, N-Sane ver.: Crash 1

"They should have listened to her." Coco said. She squinted their eyes and saw that they crash landed on an edge of the mountain near a brush. "But at least they're ok."

"Rope bridge, more like "nope bridge". Anne said painfully as she was making a joke of the unstable bridge.

As Hop Pop turned he had gasped and said while pointing downwards, "Look! Down there! "More zapepedes!" As Anne, Sprig and Polly got back up they looked below and saw an entire swarm of zapepedes just squirming around. "They're pretty far down."

Then from above them Coco's voice was heard, "Hey, you guys! Do you need help to get back up?" She shouted

"No need, there are more zapepedes below us. We figuring out a way to get to them." Sprig said. They can barely hear him from where they are, but they heard enough to make out what he said.

Coco then brought out her laptop. "We do have something that can help them reach those bugs but without the phone signal, it's gonna take a while for it to show up." Coco said to Crash and Aku Aku.

Anne starts to think of another way to get to the zapededes, and quickly gets an idea.

"Oh!" Anne said while snapping her fingers. "Lets just fly and link arms and lower someone down, just like the teens did in episode 8."

"Ha! Just so Polly can drop us just like Vivica did in the very same episode?" Sprig said while looking at Polly suspiciously.

"You callin' me a Vivica?" Polly said to Sprig while turning around to face him.

"Maybe…" Sprig said.

That was the last straw for Polly, so she tackled her brother and they started to fight each other.

"Kids, no! Stop fightin'!" Hop Pop said, telling them to stop.

They didn't listen to him and continued brawling with each other. Polly twisted Sprig's arm to cause an arm burn while Sprig gave her a wet willie which Polly responded by punching him in the face.

"Hey, cut it out you guys! Seriously." Anne said as she tried to break them up. "Ow!" Sprig ends up accidentally kicking Anne in her face.

"Oh, sorry Anne. You okay?" Sprig said with him chuckling nervously afterwards.

Anne didn't say anything. She just moved Sprig feet out of the way, rolled up her left sleeve and shouted as she got ready to tackle Sprig. Sprig gasps followed by Anne tackling him and now she joins in the fight.

"It looks like all of them are fighting now." Aku Aku said as he looked down to where the others were.

"Just leave them be." Coco said as she looked on her laptop screen trying to get the gear to their location. "They'll get tired of fighting eventually."

Hop Pop just kept stuttering as he watched Polly pulling Sprig's eyelids and Anne was about to pull his arm off until he finally shouted with his voice echoing around the peaks, "It was ME!"

This caused Anne, Sprig, and Polly to stop fighting each other and looking at him, surprised at what he said. His shout was so loud, it was heard from where Crash, Coco and Aku Aku were. Coco stopped looking at her computer and looked down along with Crash and Aku Aku.

"You mean…" Anne said.

"That's right, Anne." Hop Pop said. "I watched all the episodes! Every..Single..One!"

"Now this was unexpected! And you have everyone thinking you hated that show!" Coco shouted so that Anne and the others could hear her.

"Hated it? Hated it?! I LOVED it!" Hop Pop shouted to Coco, showing the obsession he was hiding. Lighting flashes as a flashback was shown of him twisting and turning in his bed as he couldn't sleep.

"Ever since the end of that last episode, I-I couldn't sleep." He said. "I fell in love with those crazy kids on their crazy island. I couldn't get enough." He got up and out of his bed and headed for the living room, however he needed to get by some obstacles. One of them was Polly, who he hid by the bathroom door. Once she was in the bathroom, he continued heading to the living room. "I did the only thing I could. I snuck out to the living room to watch another episode."

Sprig was getting a drink of water, so Hop Pop hid under a table to avoid being seen. Once the way was clear, he went under the table in the living room and tried to get Anne's phone from under it. It took him a few tries, but he managed to get it and started to watch more episodes of Suspicion Island.

"I vowed only to watch one, but Suspicion Island had its hooks in me! And before I realized what had happened, I finished the season!" Hop Pop gasps after he realizes what he had done. He looked outside and saw that morning had come. "With dawn approaching, I covered my tracks, and made my escape!" Hop Pop headed up to the roof so he wasn't seen by Anne who was now near the phone. He moved to another room to avoid being caught. The zapepedes lighting flash ended the cutscene.

"Unbelievable!" Anne said.

"What a twist!" Sprig said.

"Whoa!" Polly said.

"Wow, I didn't not see that one coming." Coco said to Crash and Aku Aku.

"Me neither." Aku Aku said with Crash putting his hands on his head after hearing Hop Pop's story.

"I may have caused this mess, but now I'm gonna make things right." Hop Pop said. He got Anne's phone and shouted, "I WILL REDEEM MYSELF!" He then jumped off the cliff which caused everyone to gasp.

"Hop Pop!" Anne said as she was worried if he was hurt.

"I'm ok!" Hop Pop said, as he was seen on the mount of zapededes. "You know it's actually kind of relaxing…" His mood quickly changed as he started to get zapped repeatedly by the zapepedes, showing his skeleton along with whimpering and screaming as he tried to get away but was denied by the constant zaps.

"I can't see him, but with all those flashes of electricity, he is getting zapped like a lighting rod!" Coco said.

"He can't last much longer!" Sprig said.

"We have to work together!" Polly said.

"Finally you three agree." Coco said. From the sky, the vehicle Coco sent had finally reached their location. It was Crash's Copter Pack. "Good, it is finally here and just in time." Crash took control of the Copter Pack and started flying. Coco looked below the peak and while she can barely see it, she saw that Anne, Sprig and Polly have lowered themselves down to where Hop Pop is, by using Sprig's tongue and a makeshift rope. "What are three doing?! They can't just get him so easily! They'll get shocked too!"

Crash quickly flys heads down near the zapededes where to try but stop close as he wouldn't make it in time Anne has almost got a hold on Hop Pop's foot.

"Almost… Nearly there…" Anne said as she nearly reached Hop Pop's foot. "Got him.. Oh wait a second." As soon as he grabbed Hop Pop, the zapededes' electricity started to chained to her, Polly, and Sprig and showed their skeletons as they screamed. The electricity shot them up and hit Crash which caused him to lose control of the Copter Pack and flew around while spinning out of control. Anne and the Planters landed back to the base of the peaks. A rat is shown getting an egg from a bird's nest. Anne and the Planters were smoked by the electricity and were groaning. Anne's phone is show to have it battery life supercharged as it shown to be at 10,000%

Hop Pop looked at this and said, "Holy smokes, that's a lot of percents."

Coco and Aku Aku head back to the base of the peaks and see Anne and the Planters in their zapped appearances.

"Talk about crazy! You three should have waited for us before you jumped in there and risked your lives like that. We could have let Aku Aku protect you three so you won't have to take that electrical damage." Coco said.

"We didn't have much time to think, so we had to quickly do something to save Hop Pop." Anne said to her.

Crash fell down from the sky with the Copter pack landing near him. His head is still spinning from his little ride when Anne and the Planters bumped into him.

"So, you love Suspicion Island, huh?" Anne said to Hop Pop.

"Yeah…" Hop Pop said as he finally got the nerve to tell them. "…and I'm sorry I lied and drained your memory box. Can you ever forgive this old, silly frog?"

"Dude, you just risked your life to recharge my phone. I think we're square." Anne said. Hop Pop smiled and gave Anne's phone back to her.

"Aww!" Sprig said.

"Really glad I didn't push you off a cliff like I was planning." Polly said to her brother.

"Me too, Polly. Me too." He said.

"What a day this has been, but we finally charged Anne's phone and everyone finally stopped being suspicious of each other. Now we can finally watch that show and see what the big deal is with it." Coco said to Crash and Aku Aku.

"All right, enough fiddle-faddling." Hop Pop said to Polly and Sprig. "We gotta get back home so these three can catch up and you guys can finish the season. If I don't talk to somebody about it soon, I'm gonna explode! He walks away from the peaks. Like that path where the island itself is really…"

"No!" Polly said, protesting on hearing what was happening on Suspicion island.

"Oh, come on!" Sprig said.

"Don't tell us the ending, you idiot!" Coco said with Crash waving his hand not to spoil anything.

"Dude, spoilers!" Anne said to Hop Pop.
