Chapter 4: Shedding Insecurities

Kairi and Aqua stood alone in their room, facing each other.

"Alright, moment of truth time," Aqua said to her protege. "Are you ready?"

Kairi looked at Aqua, who gave her a reassuring smile. Kairi took several deep breaths as she clutched onto the straps of her pink sun dress.

Her face was bright red and her heart pounded like it was trying to burst out of her chest as she hesitated to take her dress off. "I'm really gonna do this," she thought to herself.

With one final deep breath, Kairi slid the straps off her shoulders, allowing her dress to fall to the floor, leaving her in just her pink bra and panties.

"Good start," praised Aqua, trying to keep her spirits up.

Aqua then slipped her sandals off and set them aside before lifting up her dark blue tank top and dropping her skirt to the floor. Kairi's heart pounded as she watched Aqua, trying to draw courage from her mentor's calm demeanor.

The two were now left in their underwear. "S-So far, so good," stammered Kairi.

"Don't worry, you're doing great!" praised Aqua.

Kairi gulped as she stared at Aqua's figure clad in her underwear. Kairi wore plain pink underwear which contrasted with Aqua's more sensual dark blue underwear lined with black frills.

"Even your underwear is sexier," she murmured.

Aqua laughed. "You think so?" she asked, innocently. "I don't think it will make much difference in a few minutes."

Kairi couldn't help but chuckle at that. "Yeah, I guess you're right."

Aqua stood upright. "Ready for the grand reveal?" she teased, her hands on her bra, ready to take it off.

With a confident smile, Aqua unclasped her bra, letting it fall to the floor. Kairi covered her mouth as her mentor's large bosom hung freely after being released from their cloth prison.

"No way!" she thought. "I knew they were big, but without clothes on, they're…they're…!"

Aqua let out a sigh of relief as she stood bare-chested in front of her protege. "Feels good to be free," she said with a light laugh. She then rubbed her chest, taking in this new freedom.

She noticed Kairi's wide-eyed expression. "Your turn, Kairi."

Kairi swallowed hard, fighting a mix of nerves and admiration. "Uh, right," she said, softly.

Kairi, red in the face, took a deep breath and reached back to unclasp her own bra. With one swift motion, Kairi snapped the hook, letting it fall to the floor with her discarded sun dress.

Now the two stood face-to-face completely topless, though Kairi had her arms covering her chest.

"There you go!" cheered Aqua, her voice ecstatic and warm. "Now, just one more step."

"Y-Y-Yeah," stammered Kairi, her voice shaking a bit.

While Aqua was proud to see Kairi taking part, she felt she needed a lot of help for the last step.

Aqua hooked her thumbs into the waistband of her panties. "Let's do this part together, okay?" she offered.

"S-Sure," replied Kairi, putting on a brave face.

Kairi reached down and delicately held onto the helm of her underwear.

Kairi took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart. She hooked her thumbs into the waistband of her panties, glancing at Aqua for reassurance. Her mentor nodded with an encouraging smile.

"On the count of three," Aqua said. "One…two…three!"

In the blink of an eye, Kairi and Aqua both slid their panties down to their ankles. They stepped out of them and threw all their discarded clothes off to the side out of arms' reach.

The two Keyblade wielders were now completely naked. Aqua stood confidently with her legs apart and her hands on her hips. Kairi, meanwhile, had her arms across her chest as she felt a wave of vulnerability wash over her.

"Ta-da!" Aqua said, throwing her arms up in the air. "You did it! Now we're both nudists!"

Kairi managed a small smile, trying to feel more confident. "Yeah, I…I guess we are."

For a moment, things between them were quiet. Aqua gave Kairi time to adjust to feeling exposed.

Kairi couldn't help but look up at her mentor's beautiful nude body. As if having a large bust wasn't enough, she had a slender waist that helped to accentuate her curves, especially her rear. Her smooth skin seemed to glow in the sunlight, and her long, graceful legs added to her overall elegance.

She had an effortless grace about her that made her seem almost ethereal like she was a sculpture in a museum.

Kairi's eyes drifted to Aqua's groin, which was as smooth as the rest of her body. She was surprised to see no hair, not even a stray strand.

"How are you feeling now?" Aqua asked.

Kairi squirmed around, still getting used to being nude. "It feels…strange," she muttered, "but…not bad."

It was then that Kairi caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror nearby. She stared into her reflection, taking in the sight of her own naked body. She couldn't remember the last time she ever saw herself nude in the mirror. She patted her body down, particularly her chest and stomach as if she didn't believe the girl in the mirror was her.

Aqua then had an idea. "I want you to do something for me," she said.

"Huh? What is it?" Kairi asked.

"I want you to really look at yourself. And tell me three things that you like about your body."

Kairi was surprised by her master's request. "Three things I like about my body?" she repeated. "Uh, o-okay."

Kairi gazed at her reflection, eyeing her naked body from head to toe. "Don't be embarrassed," encouraged Aqua. "Just say what comes to mind."

Kairi stared intently in the mirror, thinking of something to say. "Well," she began.

Kairi then ran her fingers through her hair. "I always liked my hair and how red it is. Uh, no, wait. That's stupid."

"No it isn't!" interrupted Aqua. "You have amazing red hair, Kairi. Now, what else?"

Kairi took a deep breath and continued to examine herself in the mirror. "Alright," she said, focusing again.

She then patted her cheeks and turned her head, getting a good look at her face. "I like my face," she said, hesitating a bit, "it's always been really smooth. And…I think my eyes are pretty too."

Aqua nodded approvingly. "That's good. Keep going."

Kairi's gaze shifted downwards…to her chest. Kairi had always felt insecure about her bust size, believing they were small compared to other girls, especially Aqua. But as she lightly cupped her chest, she remembered that, on their way to their room, she saw other young girls with differing bust sizes and elderly women with sagging or wrinkled breasts. Yet, none of them seemed to care about these differences.

"You know, I guess…they are pretty big," she murmured. "I mean, not as big as yours, of course. But…they're a nice size."

Aqua smiled, happy to see Kairi overcoming the biggest obstacle for most young girls getting into nudism.

Kairi continued on, finding more and more to appreciate about herself. "And…you know, I have some really nice legs too. And..."

Kairi covered her mouth with her hand as she began to giggle.

"Are you okay?" Aqua asked, trying to ward off Kairi's contagious laughing.

"I'm fine," laughed Kairi. "It's just…this feels…kinda…good? I like it!"

Aqua beamed brightly. "You do?!" she asked, happily.

Kairi took a deep breath, then she stuck her arms out to her side, no longer feeling bashful. "I think…I like being a nudist!" she proclaimed proudly.

Aqua clapped her hands in excitement. "Yes! That's the spirit! I'm so proud of you!"

Hearing Aqua praise her made Kairi blush. She was happy to have overcome her insecurities. Aqua, herself, had to restrain herself from hugging Kairi, lest their nude bodies press against each other.

Kairi took another deep breath and turned to face Aqua. "I think I'm ready to go out and meet the other nudist women here!" she said, happily.

Aqua beamed with pride at Kairi's newfound confidence. "Absolutely! Let's go meet some of the other women," she agreed enthusiastically.

And so Aqua and Kairi grabbed their beach bags and left their room.

Aqua and Kairi made their way to the main hub of the resort. They passed by large crowds of women happily walking about naked as the day they were born.

And with each step, Kairi was joining them in feeling happy, even in a state of undress. The other girls' confidence and self-acceptance was infectious, making Kairi feel even more secure of herself.

Aqua noticed Kairi's smile growing bigger and bigger. "You're certainly adjusting to this rather easily, aren't you?" she teased.

Kairi laughed, a light blush coloring her cheeks. "It's just," she said, "everyone seems so comfortable and happy. It's hard not to feel the same way."

Aqua smiled warmly. "Maybe this'll be easier than I thought."

The two Keyblade wielders arrived at the main hub of the resort. "So, what do you want to do first?" asked Aqua. "We got a whole day ahead of us and there's a lot to see!"

Aqua first pointed to the beach. "There's the beach, of course. And then over there is the pool and the saunas."

Kairi's eyes lit up at the mention of the beach.

Aqua continued on. "As you can see, there's a café here too. They got some amazing food there! And some really delicious fruit drinks!"

Aqua pointed towards a dirt road leading up to a forest of trees. "They also have beautiful nature trails too! Hiromi calls it a "nude nature bath."

Kairi nodded, soaking in all the information. "Wow. I don't even know where to start," she said, feeling somewhat overwhelmed. "It sounds like there's so much to do."

"Aqua, is that you?" said a voice.

Aqua and Kairi turned and saw two girls approaching them. One was a tall girl with long, flowing blonde hair that curled past down her shoulders, the other a mysterious-looking woman with long straightened black hair and lipstick.

It took a while for Aqua to recognize her. "Wait, is that…Luna?!" she asked, excitedly.

The blonde woman smiled warmly. "It's been too long, Aqua!"

Aqua rushed over to her old friend. "I can't believe it! I didn't think I'd ever see you again!" she said, excitedly. "How have you been?"

"I've been well," she replied. "It's good to see you too! The last time we met here, we were both young girls. How time flies, right?"

"Uh, y-yeah. It sure did."

The dark-haired girl beside Luna took note of Aqua's sudden demeanor change. But she decided to not address it. "In any case, it's good to see you doing well," she said, in a somewhat odd accent.

The dark-haired woman then turned to Kairi. Kairi didn't know why, but she found her slightly intimidating, especially with such an icy glare. "A friend of yours?" the woman asked.

"Oh, right!" Aqua said. "Kairi, this is Lunafreya and her friend, Gentiana. They're nudist friends of mine from long ago."

Kairi stepped forward, feeling a bit shy but smiling warmly. "Uh..h-hi," she said, slightly nervous, "It's nice to meet you both."

Lunafreya's eyes lit up. "It's lovely to meet you, Kairi! Feel free to call me Luna."

Gentiana stared down at her. "You seem nervous," she murmured. "Are you perhaps a first-time nudist?"

Kairi brushed a strand of her hair out of her face. "It's that obvious?" she asked, somewhat anxiously.

"A little," Gentiana said, "but I admire how well you're embracing the nudist lifestyle."

Kairi felt a little more at ease. "Thanks. It's been an interesting experience so far."

Lunafreya nodded. "It can be a bit daunting at first, but once you get used to it, it's very liberating."

Aqua, sensing that Kairi was feeling more comfortable, turned to Luna. "We were just planning our day. Any suggestions on where to start?"

Lunafreya smiled. "Gentiana and I were about to head to the beach," she said, "It's a perfect day for it after all. Why don't you join us?"

Kairi's eyes lit up. "That sounds great!"

Gentiana nodded in agreement. "The beach it is, then," she said, gracefully. "Shall we?"

The four of them gathered their belongings and made their way to the beach.

A/N: In keeping with Kingdom Hearts tradition, there will be a few Final Fantasy female characters making cameos in the next chapter (mainly ones that haven't debuted in the KH series yet). These are the girls I've always wanted to write a story for, but haven't played their games to get a good idea for the character(s).
