Chapter 520: Leni remembers him…

(February 24. The Royal Woods Mall.)

Leni is with her friends at the food court and enjoying some delicious dietary food. Jackie and Mandee are glad that today is Leni's day off and that she has been doing a tremendous job at what she does best. Jackie then asks. "So, Leni. Are you totes excited for your birthday this month?"

Leni smiles and she nods. "Of course I am. Totes thrilled that my birthday is coming in fast. I can't wait to see what's in store for me when it happens! It also kinda means I might not be the one in charge of the whole birthday theme. But that's fine with me."

Her friends are happy to hear this. Then Mandee has some concerns and she asks. "And what about those whom are technically you're parents? I mean, do you still sorta don't like them?"

Leni sighs and she replies. "I have a little resentment onto them for not even bothering with the tumors that have been inside my head. But I am willing to give them another chance to be redeemed of their mistakes."

The girls then finish their food and they head out of the food court and are headed out of the mall. But as they are walking, Leni notices a poster on a window and she sees what it says.

"Michigan's Racing Sensation Bobbie Fletcher is going into another extraordinary race next month of March 9 and against rookie sensation Kurt Logann!"

Leni smiles seeing this. 'Lana is totes gonna love this and wanna see the race herself. Her idol racing again this year and this guy who is… Kurt Logann…' she then takes a good look at the other racer and for some reason she can't look away. 'Kurt Logann? Why does that sound so familiar?'

"Leni! Leni!" Leni snaps out of her thoughts and it was Jackie who called out to her. Jackie and Mandee go to Leni and are confused. "Leni, what's wrong?"

"I'm alright girls. Just kinda curious about this race coming" replied Leni. "I know that Lana will love this very much and would wanna go to the race. But this guy, Kurt Logann… he seems kinda familiar. I just don't know why his name sounds so familiar and his face too."

This confuses Jackie and Mandee. Mandee then has an idea. "Well, he is a racecar driver right? So, seems right to ask your little sister Lana about him."

Leni thinks about this. "Huh, that doesn't sound like such a bad idea!" Leni grabs the poster and they then head off to the Loud House to get some straight answers from her little sister.

(The Loud House. Franklin Avenue.)

Leni is back and with her friend's Jackie and Mandee. But they also see Lincoln, Luna and Michelle are here visiting and checking on things. Leni then asks. "Has anyone seen Lana?"

Then Lana appears from behind the couch. "Yeah sis?" she then tosses the old shoe and Charles grabs it and plays with it. Lana goes towards Leni and she is shown the poster about the race and this has Lana excited. "Whoa, what? Bobbie Fletcher is gonna be in another awesome race!"

Lana then notices someone else on the poster. "Huh, the rookie himself Kurt Logann is competing in this one. Looks like they're both becoming a start-up racing rivalry and I wanna see this one happen." Lincoln, and Luna also overhear this and even Michelle.

Michelle then remembers. "Huh, so this is the big race that Amanda is going to be for her big time story. She told me about this the other day and that she's going to see who wins and then have it printed out for the Gazette."

Leni then intervenes. "Lana. Do you know anything about Kurt Logann?" the others are confused hearing this and then Lynn Jr. and Lucy also overhear this.

Lana then explains. "Kurt Logann, from Sweetwater Valley Tennessee is the son of a great and legendary racecar driver Jeremy Logann and he's been a rival racer to Bobbie Fletcher's uncle. I guess racing against each other runs in their family blood."

"He's a rookie racer who wants to be as good as his dad. I know that Kurt Logann has a mom who is from Poland, a little sister and his family owns a large ranch. He's won some racing events and even sponsorships to keep doing what he does best. He's okay… but Bobbie Fletcher is the gal who will win this year."

Michelle then asks Leni. "Leni, why are you so interested with this?"

Leni sighs and so she explains. "Guys. I don't know why, but Kurt Logann sounds like someone familiar to me. Like someone that I used to know back then and just forgot. But then again, I wasn't the brightest and had those tumors in my head making me lack memories."

"I feel like something from when I was a kid is coming back to me slowly and it's hard to recall everything. Sometimes I get these dreams of this kid whom I met and I swear his name is…"Leni then gasps and realizes this.

Luna and Lincoln are concerned and ask. "Leni, are you alright?"

Leni then looks to all of them and she is also excited. "I-It's all coming back to me now! I met Kurt Logann long ago when we were kids. Back when we were 7!" this surprises everyone and even Lana. "We met during the summer when his family were on vacation in Royal Woods and he helped me fix my…" she then takes her white sunglasses and looks at them. "My sunglasses. He helped repair them."

This truly does surprise them and then Luna goes towards her. "We're glad you remembered him Leni."

Leni then has concerns. "But, will he remember me for when we do meet again?" that one surprises the others and they don't know how to answer that one. But deep down Leni is determined to see him again and to know if Kurt Logann remembers Leni Loud.

A/N: Looks like Leni now remembers who her friend was long ago and the kid from her dreams. Now she just has to wait till she sees him again. I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
