Time to say goodbye to December and also farewell to the year 2023, a whole lot has happened and gone down, and this sure has been something. Now, we should be locked and loaded, for what will come for the Loud's and the Lewis' next month/year. I wanna say thanks to "Marvelomac1010" for the concept to this chapter and many more to come. Chapter 465: Ending December 2023…

(December 31. The Loud House Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods Michigan.)

At the home of the Loud Family, the place is getting ready with so many food and the guests who will be coming over to celebrate with them. Michelle manages to make so many dishes, dishes that Lynnard doesn't even know and they seem very complicated.

"Did you bring your own ingredients with you for this?" asked Lynnard as he looks to the T-Bone steaks, and the way they are cooked and the spices and herbs used for them.

"I did, now move side." Michelle walks by Lynnard, and she has the pot and inside of it is the roasted chicken, and she places it onto the table. "Good job there, Luan."

Luan places down what she helped cook, which is Linguini, and she cooked it right with the best tastes and flavor. "Thanks, I did what you suggested and I looked into some videos of what Gordon Ramsay cooks, and I gotta say this is delicious." She then looks to Mr. Coconuts on the kitchen table with a chef's hat, and she makes him speak.

"Hey doll, when the heck do I get to cook? I know a good recipe on wood shavings."

Luan chuckles, and then she looks stern. "Never gonna happen, Mr. C." Lori and Leni help with the cooking, but they are confused about what Luan said using her dummy. She does realize that she's Mr. Coconuts, right?

Rita then comes into the dining room, and she sees the wonderful food made. "Wow. This looks amazing." She then sees Michelle come back, and she has macarons. "Thanks for coming here, to celebrate with us, Michelle."

"Even though Linc and Lunes are my kids, I still see the others as family too, and same with Lincoln and Luna." She then goes back into the kitchen, and Michelle helps Leni with the Sliders. Rita and Lynn Sr. are happy to hear this and they know that they still have a long way to go to be redeemed by Lincoln and Luna Lewis. They are also happy for the life those two have now alongside Michelle Lewis.

Lori then finishes helping out and she checks on the others in the backyard, and some of the guests are also here, which is just Sam, Brian, Simon and their mother Allyson Sharp. Allyson Sharp does go into the house and see if they need some backup.

Luna then goes over to Lori and she asks her. "So, you going to head back to college soon Lori?"

Lori nods and she explains. "I will be leaving, somewhere around tomorrow afternoon. Classes at Fairway will continue again the day after New Year's Day." The other Loud Sisters feel upset about this, but then they recall that Lynnard will be heartbroken again that his first born daughter will be off.

Lincoln smiles. "This sure has been one heck of a year, and we have had some troubling times and yet some good times too and that whatever will happen next we will all get through together." Luna nods and she goes over and hugs her brother, the others also do the same. Luan and Leni also come out of the house and join in on this.

Deep down, this feels like old times, of the Loud's Sibling Group hugs.

Seeing this from the window are Rita, Lynnard and Michelle. They are glad that they still see each other as family.

(Hours Later.)

A few more minutes before midnight, and all their guests are here. Amanda Bright, Jordan Rosato and her parents, and they even brought along Ajax and Victorie, and he has fun interacting with the other pets. All of them awaiting for the clock to strike.

Though, the ones who couldn't be able to stay awake are the twins Lola and Lana, Lisa and Lily. They got one heck of a sugar crash from the chocolate cake that they enjoyed. Though, Lola is mumbling in her sleep. "Must… Continue… Preparing… Birthday… Myself…"

At the backyard, everyone else is ready and gathered, and having fun and enjoying some food. Lincoln and Luna are both talking to Sam and Jordan, but then two folks come over to speak with them and they are Rita and Lynnard. They remain silent and let them speak.

"Lincoln, Luna. We wanna say…. How truly sorry we are for what we have done before and that we never listened and were total idiots" replied Lynnard.

"We didn't know what was truly right for you both, and never even bothered to pay any attention to what you both had to say and just… Just went along with something else" replied Rita.

Luna then speaks. "You both have done a lot of mistakes, way too many to even count. Many disputes and ordeals which I had to defuse or at least talk back to try and get some sense into those dense brick heads of yours. Forcing me, tricking me into Rock n' Roll, and trying to break the bond that I have with my little brother, and trying to separate us is downright cruel and horrible."

Hearing that makes Lynnard and Rita feel bad.

Then Lincoln speaks. "But even after all of that, we are willing to five you both a chance to earn back forgiveness and trust." This surprises Lynnard and Rita. "We can't hold a grudge on you two forever, and we can see true and clear that you both feel bad for everything you have done and are willing to change for the better, and so Luna and I are willing to give you both the chance to seek redemption from us."

Then Luna speaks. "Even if you both do earn back our forgiveness and trust, Lincoln and I are the children of Michelle Lewis, because the damage has been done and we are no longer Loud's, and sure to heck don't plan to ever come back to that fold. We're Michelle's kids, and the others agree to that. It's going to be one long and hard road to redemption, to which you both started with the madness."

Rita and Lynnard nod. "We promise that we will try our best, to earn your forgiveness and trust."

Michelle notices this, and she smiles. She is glad to see that Lincoln and Luna are willing to try and forgive their former parents, to a shot of redemption.

Just then, everyone calls out and cheers. The countdown has begun and they all count it down, but the loudest the most are the Loud's, and all of a sudden the younger Loud's come out of the house. Yep, Lisa left an alarm just in case, and they are here!

Lori. "TEN!"

Leni. "NINE!"

Luan. "EIGHT!"

Lynn Jr. "SEVEN!"

Lucy. "SIX! I like that number."

Lola and Lana. "FIVE!"

Lisa and Lily. "FOUR!"

Rita and Lynnard. "THREE!"

Michelle and Amanda. "TWO!"

Lincoln and Luna. "ONE!"

Everyone. "HAPPY NEW YEAR!"

The fireworks light up the sky with amazing colors, and everyone is in awe and they cheer and make some noise, and so does everyone else within Royal Woods, all the way to Great Lakes City! Also, Lori is video chatting with Bobby and the same time it is happening with them as well.

Just then, Lincoln is kissed by Jordan and then Sam does the same to Luna, and everyone continues to cheer and celebrate, a New Year is here, 2024 and this is just the start for more to come!

Somewhere, at a juvenile detention center far from Michigan, alarms are going off and the search lights are triggered as someone has escaped, and is already on the run, and he runs across the first road and that someone is Michael Fontana, but he has a crazed look in his eyes.

"Luna Loud will be mine, she will be mine! I will kill that Sharp bitch and that white haired piece of shit!"

A local prison in New Mexico. An explosion has gone off, and several inmates make a run for it and the guards and dogs do what they can to bring them back here, but one man has already fled on foot and that man is Derrick Carson.

"Finally, time for some payback and take every damn woman in that town, starting with those stupid folks who put me in here! But first, I gotta find my nephews, all of them!"

Wow. Well, this sure to hell turned bad.
