our last of these for the time being until the next holiday obviously will be Riley's birthday. We celebrate today Riley's birthday. I hope you enjoy it even though and celebrate birthdays too. I just thought it would be fun for them to have a small birthday chapter for Riley, even though I normally wouldn't, I would normally put this in the middle of my actual story that would mess up things so that's what's going in the stories with the holidays. Father's Day celebration was over and now we had to decorate the entire ballroom for Riley's birthday told me that she loves flowers so I decorated the whole place and flowers. Also, all of Riley's gifts will be put on this table to settle the debt I did decorate with Riley's presents. Everyone was coming. This wasn't day small group celebration. This was everybody in Valencia, and everyone that was left in our kingdom that I invited to celebrate my daughter Riley's birthday I adopted my family.
we also put up her favorite foods that were cooked by Valenciennes and we made sure there were lots of chocolates and things too even flowers that were shaped like chocolates. I went to the bakery and bought a beautiful cake, a birthday cake with flowers and all kinds of pretty pink frosting, and everything you could think of.
how indulgent Ezra said coming in and looking yes but we go big like this in the human world. I told him birthdays are even though we sell even though you celebrate them they're not as a big deal as they are here and besides, this is the first birthday party that we're having for Riley for her being my daughter I said Ezra, yes Miss Lily, you Majesty your Royal highness queen Lily he says it's hard to think the counterpart is now queen and the Timecrest is king of a kingdom he says is retired but she's not dead. She'll die soon but she's not gonna die right now. probably not until my first born air is born quite right Ezra said do you need help with the cake Your Majesty oh yes, please if you can help me put this over here on the table where the cake is going with all the other presents and cards that everyone's gonna be bringing to this celebration ball for Riley I even got her colors. I asked for her favorite colors and I decorated that this is for Riley.
streamers hung from the ceilings pink I'm guessing her healing pedals are blue or her colors. I'm guessing, pink and blue streamers hang from the ceiling and fake plants. Also hung there. Real ones would've dripped too much water real live plants set on tables roses, and everything flower you could think of was sitting on tables.
It looks great Luther said coming in you did it well Lily thank you. I said look lilies. I put them everywhere. Even the table is garnished with them. Lovely. He said it looks great.
I hope the cake is flowery is not flowery, but it will be decorated with frosting with flowers. We'll have to go pick it up soon. It was ready. I just need to go pick it up. I said the bakery should have the cake ready. You wanna go with me to get it Took my hand. He told everyone else to keep Riley out of the ballroom. It was gonna be a surprise birthday party where we jump out and say surprise we sent her an errand to pick flowers or whatever with Elise and 13 they'd all go and do that while we set up everything else.
we left to go get the cake and Odette went to fetch the candles. I'm not gonna lie to them yet. She said I hope you go pick up the cake we are. I said it's gonna be a beautiful cake decorated in all the pretty fondant flowers you could think of with the happy birthday in the center.
we went to pick them up and the party balloons and other party decorations that we hadn't gotten yet once we picked up the cake and all the other decorations we started decorating the place. The ballroom was looking great. It was looking beautiful. The cake was pretty too, and its little plastic box, we didn't bake one would've taken too long, but not this time all the presents were uniquely sat on the table. We have beautiful special gifts for her as well. She doesn't know that their things are decorated with her birthstone pearls.
I had a beautiful dinner planned with all her favorite Alcian foods. Scarlet made her famous noodles and Ash and Luther made Griffin egg sandwiches and other great stuff.
And the cake was chocolate, of course, because it's not rare here we can have as much chocolate as we want The frosting wasn't chocolate, but the cake base was.
everything looks great I said as I put the cake on the table, didn't it? Odette said it does majesty she said you're the queen now I smiled. No one that I was queen but there's still a lot more to do.
Everyone finished fixing everything it was all done and ready to go. All we had to do now was hide and get ready for Riley.
No one told her this was a surprise birthday. She won't know where to look for us. Man will she be surprised.
then it was almost time.
her and 1813 came in they told her to cover her eyes as they walked inside. They ran to hide before she completely went to the room.
As she walked in, we said surprise happy birthday Riley. She was so surprised by all this for me. She said we knotted all of it is for you, Riley. I said we have a beautiful dinner spread for you and great desserts and presents her face lit up for me how wonderful I can't believe you all did this for me, wow this is so wow amazing Riley said.
Lily, I can't believe you did this for me. You deserve it, Riley. I said we all we all deserve a break like this and since we didn't have much for our Father's Day celebration, not too long ago we decided to go all out for your birthday party. surprise is such a surprise said Riley I love it very much thank you let us have our dinner and then we will eat desserts but before we do that, we will open presents and sing Happy Birthday Awesome a big smile placed upon Riley's lips.
let sit and we did we had everything human dishes and dishes. Everything after that we open gifts presents after present was opened. Riley opened every one of the roses that was given to her party was given I'm surprised you didn't give me this sooner Luther she said, I wanted to make up for what happened last time it'll be something that would give you stepping on it. I'm getting you a new one. I found these and they're similar to the roses that you gave that I gave you. I'm glad you remembered she said these blue and lavender roses are so pretty, they were so they are not dried up. I'll replant them. She said I'll build a new garden. A lot of the gifts were planted plants and everyone unwrapped more gifts from other people even an apology birthday gift from Annelise. Elise was given to her face smiled thank you, Elise. I'm glad you think that you would want to make up with me, at least this is the best way she said.
then it was a gift for me and Luther together it was a beautiful jewelry set made of her birthstone. I found that our June birthstone is pearls. I said dessert you deserve to have something in pearls white pearls, a beautiful pearl necklace, an earring set, and a bracelet for Riley, and these aren't fake no these are real pearls. I said don't ask, but I was thinking that you should have these since this is your birthstone Riley Riley thank you.
and with most of these flowers, I could restart a new flower garden. She said that would be nice and I want to thank everyone for their gifts. Riley said and I love these new pearls too. They're so pretty.
The whole set wasn't just pearls. We got her every gemstone. It was mentioned in Alencia Rubys, beautiful ruby earrings and necklace and bracelet and sapphire set as well as emerald. Thank you very much. You're so pretty. I never had anything so pretty Riley said.
Now you do after we gave out gifts to her. It was time to eat cake and ice cream and chocolate pie and any kind of sweet. We could think of that we had even snow bread and every other dessert.
But before we could do that, Odette plus the candles on there 25 of them I think that right as she placed the candles on she lit them as we sang Happy Birthday.

after we sent them the happy birthday song we told Riley to blow out her candles and make a wish Make-A-Wish and then blow out her candles to close her eyes and make a wish and blow out her candles. We cheered and then we cut up cake and had ice cream and cake and pie and all our desserts.
it was a very successful birthday for Riley. Riley enjoyed it too. It made her feel happy that we celebrated her birthday and we carried on till the night and then we went to bed ready for what the next day would bring us an overall very successful birthday. Riley carried her gifts to her room and then let us good night and we went to bed too.
A very successful Father's Day and a very successful Riley's birthday all in one day today can we not ask for anything more than this except for our freedom from the bogeyman and we will get it sooner or later right now we're happy and tired and we went to bed.
end of happy birthday, Riley, a short story for my celebrating holidays with Valian learning to be human series birthday is not one that you would normally put in here, but I decided to put it in here because it's too short of a story to make a chapter in the actual chapter, so I thought it would be perfect. It wouldn't match the rest of the tone of the other book so I'm putting it in here in the celebrations, but I hope you enjoy Riley's birthday and I hope you enjoy this fun little story, and I'll see you for the next holiday which I don't know what will be yet but it'll be a while but I'll see you then.
