Chapter Nine: Tsu's POV
'Alright.'
It seemed like an eternity had passed before she answered, but once she did, she felt like an enormous weight was lifted from her shoulders. She didn't think it was that big. It wasn't like Katsuki's question came as a complete surprise. It wasn't like she didn't hope he would ask. Some day. But she was a bit stunned, he would ask tonight for some reason. Maybe because they were so wrapped up in whatever was going on in his agency or maybe because it was a long night altogether. She wouldn't have guessed; he would have to courage to ask her out tonight.
Tsu pulled on her genuine smile despite her heart beating so fast she was worried she wouldn't be able to hear anything else. It was impossible not to. Her chest felt nice and warm in a way it so often did when the ash-blond did something truly nice just for her. He did those things a lot, so the feeling wasn't unfamiliar, but it always caught her a bit off-guard that she would feel this way after so many times.
Katsuki's red eyes lightened up in a way she saw more often now that she got to know him so well. She wasn't certain, but Tsu thought he might cry or laugh in relief for some reason. She certainly felt like she might too.
Instead, she saw the micromovement, he made to lean forward ready no doubt to capture her lips in another kiss.
Quickly, she shot her hand and covered his mouth clumsily enough that his lips stayed partly uncovered by her fingers.
'S-sorry!' she called out quickly feeling her cheeks heat up. It was silly. She knew, but she couldn't help herself either way.
She licked her lips, 'Uh, but I think we should…uh, we should wait with stuff like that until after our date. You know?' it sounded a bit ridiculous to her own ear. Especially, since in the past couple of weeks they kissed so much they practically already broke some rule, but Tsu still thought that if they were going to do this properly, they should at least try to act like a normal not-yet-couple before a first date would. It was probably pointless at this point given how much had happened between them, but her heart felt pretty set on the idea. It would just feel better if they didn't jump to things as irrationally as they did into their fake dating. Also, Tsu was beyond positive that if they kissed just one more time now that the offer for a date was on the table, they wouldn't stop.
She wouldn't stop.
Katsuki watched her for a moment before he let out a groan that vibrated through her own body reminding her of just how feral he could be at times, all the while looking at her face. She couldn't be certain what he was thinking, but she would like to think she got pretty good at reading him.
'Fine,' he grunted ultimately. His tongue darted out and licked between her fingers causing her to hurriedly retreat them due to the sensation it sparked inside her core.
Cheater, Tsu thought fondly keeping her hand close, with a rapidly beating heart and hot cheeks. This was exactly why she knew they shouldn't just go making out. It was all too easy to fall once they came to the edge.
She watched as Katsuki glanced to the side of the bed, 'Do you also want us to sleep separately?'
Her dark eyes widened, and she glanced to the side of the bed too. They had been sleeping together on his bed for weeks now, and despite not wanting to kiss before the actual date, the heroine couldn't imagine they would sleep anywhere but together tonight or any other night. It wouldn't be fair for them to stop. It wouldn't be fair to her if she was being completely honest with herself which she always tried to be.
Her cheeks were surely red now since she felt how hot her face was when she returned her gaze to Katsuki's again. By the smug look in his red eyes, she was certain he already knew her answer.
'If we keep it clean, we can sleep together, kero,' she said with the smallest voice and flinched when the ash-blond chuckled and sarcastically said, 'Of course we can.'
She shot him a look or did her best to make her body seem visibly upset, but just as quickly her stance softened over the way he started to openly smile at her.
'So, a date, huh?' he crossed his arms making the fabric hug his muscular body well, and leaned closer to her touching her with his elbows and forearms in some places. Dressed in his fancy suit, he looked unfairly good. He always looked good, but something about seeing him this fancy and proper got to her, 'Want to plan something together or will you leave it to me?'
Tsu blinked surprised by the offer since she was momentarily distracted by his physic. Not for the first time tonight or in general and certainly not for the last. She did her best to look composed when she pressed her index finger against her lower lip to think about her options in this. It took her a moment before finally, she stated, 'You asked me first so you can plan it, but if you'll have trouble, you can let me know.'
He continued to cheekily smile down at her almost like he knew something she didn't before he walked around her, 'I lived with you for weeks, Tsuyu. I don't need shit to know what you want.'
Oddly, she didn't try to argue or tease him about it since she could feel it in her bones that he was being honest and not just his overconfident and overcompetitive self. Not to mention, she lived with him too, and knew just how much she learned about him. Given that Katsuki was far more intelligent than others gave him credit for it, it was obvious he had to learn about her a lot. At least enough to be able to plan some dates.
She smiled to herself. It was impossible to hide her good mood at the moment. He made her really happy. He often did, but tonight he really set the bar high.
She looked at the ground for a moment trying to recall the last time anyone was interested in making a date just for her, 'Good. Surprise me then, kero.'
She heard him sigh and felt him snatch her chin raising it up to make her look at him again, 'If you don't want to get kissed, don't look so darn cute all the time.'
She giggled at how desperate he seemed. A complete contrast to how he looked before, 'Can't help it.'
He let her go and stepped around her going for the closet to snatch his clothing almost like he did his best not to touch her this time around, 'Whatever, I'm gonna go shower.'
Her face felt hot again, and she couldn't help but turn around to him and ask, 'Would a little kiss help?'
A loud but low groan was the only answer she received which caused her to giggle some more, but quietly enough, so she wouldn't push the poor hero too far. She had a feeling he was genuinely doing his best not to be irrational and respect her wishes.
Without lying, seeing him step out freshly out of the shower made her question her own patience and resolution about the idea, but she hurriedly went into the bathroom and distracted herself in the bathtub. After everything that happened, she needed it probably almost as much as she did the first night she spent in Katsuki's apartment. Yet, it didn't feel just as good as it did back then, Tsu felt she had too much on her mind. It was suffocating really. She knew they agreed to wait until morning, but the idea that they still didn't know who was toying with them really soured her mood.
Pity, she thought since the fact that she could openly daydream about Katsuki would have made the experience so much more pleasurable.
Once she got out of the bath into her PJs, she went to the bedroom. Unsurprisingly, she found Katsuki on his phone. With his back to her, she could easily see he was looking over the resumes of his employees, no doubt looking for some indication they would want to screw him over the way they had over the course of the past months.
She came to sit down on the bed behind him and rested her cheek on his shoulder. He didn't tense or flinch or even look at her further underlining just how far they come to trusting one another. Physical contact between them felt long since natural, and it improved Tsu's mood to know they had come this far, 'You won't figure it out tonight, you know?'
For a moment, she thought he would argue, but ultimately, he turned his screen off and shifted his head to face her, 'Yeah. Just needed to get busy while waiting for you.'
She nodded. She couldn't properly focus on anything else either before, but once she came back to Katsuki, it was incredibly easy.
For a brief moment, she pressed her forehead to his, if he decided to kiss her now, she wouldn't be able to stop him in time, she knew that.
However, it didn't matter because Katsuki just remained sitting there with his forehead against her thinking and enjoying the moment for a bit.
It was beyond nice and soothing making her purr a bit after a moment. It almost made up for the shitty bath, but all too quickly the ash-blond sighed and said, 'Let's go to sleep.'
It felt abrupt, but she didn't complain. It was late, and they had a mission tomorrow. Hopefully, they would figure out what happened at last and could move on from all of this.
They went over their little before-bed ritual. Shutting the blinds and turning off the lights before crawling under the covers. As always Tsu took a spot by his side clutching onto his arm, and Katsuki looked like he couldn't care less only making sure they were covered by the blanket properly.
'You already know what kind of date we'll have, right?' Tsu found herself asking in the dark just to break the silence since she started to overthink a bit.
She felt Katsuki slow his breathing for a moment and in the next a warm palm brushed her head. His touch was firm but soft like he was caressing her or soothing her worries away, 'I knew since you fucking moved in, Froggy.'
Her eyes closed tired on their own. It was utterly lovely to imagine he actually thought about it since then, 'Yeah?'
'Hell yeah,' he assured her still brushing her hair, 'Now fucking sleep so we can kick ass tomorrow, alright?'
'Kero,' she mumbled sleepily and sunk deeper into the warmth of his side.
She adored his body heat so much, she felt she would never get enough of it.
'Good night.'
A soft brush of wet lips against her temple was all she recalled before drifting into sleep.
Tsu would think after everything that happened, and after crawling into the bed with Katsuki and lying at his side, it would take her hours to fall asleep, but to her surprise the next morning, it couldn't have been more than a couple of minutes. The excitement of everything was no match for the exhaustion, which was good since honestly, the sea-green-haired heroine wasn't looking forward to overthinking and stressing that night about things she had no control over in that moment either way.
Before she opened her eyes or even knew she was waking up, she felt a gentle sensation of something stroking the skin across her belly and drawing unknown patterns.
A small sound like a mixture of her croak and moan escaped her lips, and she had no reason to try and stop it, so she let it echo in her ears for a bit.
The movements continued disregarding the sound, so Tsu pushed her face into something soft and warm that must have been her pillow based on the smell of her shampoo. It didn't take long for the heroine to start waking up and realize that the soft touch was caused by Katsuki's strong fingers that were stroking the exposed skin across her belly.
This is nice, she thought. It was a bit ticklish, but she didn't really feel like giving in to the impulse. Instead, she felt like pressing her legs firmly together and rubbing them slightly as a pool of heat reached her senses.
Sometime during the night, she must have rolled around, so her back was now pressed against his chest and the top part of her PJs must have risen up in the process.
The sensation caused a low spark inside her, and she couldn't stop herself from letting out another sleepy moan.
She tried to see if she could figure out what Katsuki was drawing, but it seemed he wasn't creating anything particular just doing absent circles and waves.
Feels so good, Tsu thought shamelessly and closed her eyes once again letting herself enjoy the feeling. Occasionally, she wondered if the ash-blond would try to go higher and touch her under her breasts, but for the time being, it seemed he wouldn't.
She didn't allow it to disappoint her too much, since having her belly stroked like this felt far too good and made her smile sleepily and croak some more here and there. She felt she was aroused if the cold and wetness of her panties was anything to go by, but she could also feel that so was Katsuki based on the firm and hot member she felt between her butt cheeks.
Her face was no doubt red or at least her cheeks, but even so, the pressure of having him there made her feel proud and good about herself even more. It was good to know he liked her and wanted her. It was always good to have the Number One Hero's attention like this.
She moved a bit and moaned softly against her pillow at the feeling of him shifting behind her too. It would be far too easy to reach out and push her PJs bottoms down, wouldn't it?
She could hear Katsuki's breath against her ear. He was calm but surely awake, and every so often she felt him press his nose against her hair. Did he want to catch her scent? Did he like her smell? She secretly hoped so. She wanted Katsuki to like everything about her. She liked everything about him after all. His body and smell included.
The more she was waking up the more ticklish it felt, but she did her best not to laugh. She didn't think Katsuki would flat-out hate that she caught him like this, but she couldn't be too sure if he wouldn't stop and suggest they go to his agency to meet with Detective Tsukauchi.
Tsu silently whimpered at the idea. She knew it would be the right thing to do. They had to get to the bottom of this mess, but she also hoped to remain like this for just a moment. As much as she wished he would move higher and cup her breast and take her from behind while panting into her ear, she craved more peaceful moments with him too.
When she felt his nose brush behind her ear causing her to get even more excited, she pressed herself firmer against him earning a small groan, 'How long are you awake, you damn minx?'
Her smile grew upon hearing that, but she didn't turn around or break free from him. Instead, she further pressed herself against him and moaned at the feeling of his member behind her ass, all hot and hard, 'Not long, kero.'
'Liar,' said Katsuki, and she felt his finger tighten at the skin on her stomach pulling her even closer to him. Each movement caused his member to rub against her which made them both moan and groan at the same time.
Tsu closed her eyes, 'I don't know what you would consider long.'
He hummed behind her and buried his face against her hair saying something she couldn't understand. All the while he continued to roll his hips against her behind forcing her body to respond.
More, more, more, echoed inside her, and her behind grinding against his hot erection the more it did.
'What?' she asked and turned her head enough to make it clear she wanted to know what he was saying.
For a moment, he didn't move just remained with his face pressed against her hair breathing her in.
She stopped her movements. Tsu wasn't about to complain. She liked him like this. It felt good to be held by him so close she felt he could crush her if he wanted to, but of course, he didn't, and she felt completely safe.
A moment too soon, however, Katsuki groaned and leaned away, 'We can't stay here all day, Froggy.'
She nodded against the pillow and turned to look at him, 'Okay, Baku-chan.'
He rose to his elbow and leaned over her looking at her face. He looked so calm and rested it really bothered the heroine they had to break this moment, his internal peace, for any reason, no matter how serious it was. She found herself really annoyed that they had to move. That they had to leave. She was just tired from all of it, the charade, the stress from the media, and whoever was responsible for leaking her address. All of it. And after last night, Tsu just wanted to be unburned by it all.
She reached for his face and stroked his cheeks with both of her palms, 'The sooner we get this done, the sooner we can rest, kero.'
'Yeah,' he nodded and once again, she thought and hoped he would lean down to kiss her, but instead, he rolled out of her reach and the bed no doubt to take care of himself in the bathroom and get ready.
She almost teased him about the tent in his PJs she noticed while he reached the door to lighten up the mood, but before she could she heard him ask, 'Did you wake up this early often?'
Her heart speeded up, and she bit her lower lip knowing he was asking about those mornings when she woke up to him running his fingers across her whole body and rolling his hips against her far less innocently than he did tonight. She was never sure if he was properly awake or if he knew she was awake, but she always remained under the illusion that she was asleep and allowed him to leave her first.
Her face felt warm as she nodded, 'Sometimes.'
'Why'd you let me then?' he asked and turned to look at her with a knowing smirk and something dark inside his red eyes.
She glanced at her body still lying on the bed and then back at him, 'I liked it. I didn't want you to stop.'
His smirk morphed into a grimace, 'If I knew, I wouldn't have stopped, Tsu. Trust me.'
He didn't allow her to say or do anything else and left the bedroom leaving the poor heroine to snatch a pillow and cover her face with it hoping her own arousal would die down. She regretted her no-kissing rule a lot at that moment.
From the moment they met up in the kitchen to the drive into Katsuki's agency, everything felt awfully charged between them. They didn't kiss or even touch, but just being in close proximity was enough to make Tsu blush or think about everything they could be doing. It was strangely calming, but also exciting in its core. Given how Katsuki lingered a few times like he wanted to touch her hair or hand just because he was so used to it by now, he felt the same.
'Did you put any thought into our date, Katsu-chan?' Tsu asked in the elevator on their way to his office. She felt like she had spent a lot of time in his agency later. Much more than in her own. She wasn't certain it was the best time to ask about this, but at the same time, she felt she wanted something else to think about. Nervosity wasn't something she expected to feel. They had been over this investigation a couple of times now, yet the sea-green-haired heroine couldn't help herself. It was probably the mixture of everything not just the investigation.
'I already have it all planned out,' said Katsuki sounding so casual and serious, that it took her a moment Tsu a moment to remember what they were talking about.
Blinking she turned to look at him, 'Y-you have?'
He flashed her a cocky look, 'I'm competitive as shit, remember?'
Her lips pulled into a smile, and she pressed her index finger against her lower lip, 'Still, I would have thought you would need a bit more time. Did you stay up all night?'
'Don't be stupid,' he dismissed the idea and shot her a wink, 'Just know you well enough.'
She was about to say something else, but they reached their floor and Detective Tsukauchi greeted them from the end of the hallway. Some of their momentary cheerfulness eased away, and Tsu felt Katsuki pulled on a serious façade just as she did.
'Shall we start?' asked the older man and the two shared a quick look before they nodded.
The interviews went on throughout the day. No one seemed to raise any suspicion throughout the whole ordeal. If anything, they acted just as clueless about it all as Tsu felt. She didn't understand why anyone would orchestrate all of this. Leaking the photo and the dating news, having Momo make a spy device to find her address, and then leaking it online almost twice. It was all just weird. Were these people trying to sabotage Katsuki's career? It didn't sound right in her mind and based on Katsuki, who sat next to her, with his arms crossed glaring at each and every one of his employees, she didn't think it sounded right to him either.
'Bakugou-san,' said Detective Tsukauchi at one point, 'You have to lean back a bit. Making them nervous makes it harder for me to detect their lies.'
The Number One Hero grunted something like, 'Fine,' and if nothing else tried to glare at the nearby window instead of the employees. Tsu was sympathetic to both sides. She understood Katsuki's anger as well as the employees' fear.
It wasn't until the detective announced that the last person on the list was Katsuki's publicist that the ash-blond spoke again shocked, 'Wait! Someone's missing.'
Tsu looked over at him. She didn't know all of Katsuki's employees so she wasn't certain she would notice someone was missing, but she didn't think there was anyone who didn't show up.
The detective who was sitting on his left looked over the list of employees and shook his head, 'According to this, your publicist is the last one who should be present-'
'No,' argued Katsuki and snatched the list immediately flipping it over and looking for someone, 'there should be one more assistant,' he explained frowning the longer he searched and couldn't find the person he meant, 'The one who gave the message about my and Tsu's dating status. She also came to help with our photoshoot before Tsu's bag got bugged. She…she's new, but she should be on this list.'
The sea-green-haired woman frowned now that Katsuki spoke about it, she also realized that the main woman who was involved in all of this was missing, but to her shock, she didn't realize this a moment ago, 'Y-yes…she…she brought me food during the photoshoot for the magazine.'
Now that she thought about her, she clearly remembered her bringing her food and being there when she first met Katsuki's publicist after his promotion to Number One Hero was announced. How odd until she was mentioned, Tsu's mind completely erased the woman from her thoughts. It was unlikely for her to forget someone. Especially, someone who was so involved in all of this.
The detective paused too, and the sea-green-haired heroine could tell he was deep in thought before he confirmed, 'You're telling the truth.'
He seemed to pull out his personal notes from his pocket, not those he worked on today, but probably others he made during his first investigation, and rushed over them, 'I made notes about her interview, but it seems nothing out of the ordinary stood out to me. Then again,' he stopped and turned to Tsu, 'Asui-san, did you recall this woman up until Bakugou-san mentioned her?'
She shook her head still frowning, 'I remember her now, but until Katsuki spoke of her, she completely slipped my mind. I think I wouldn't even recall her at all.'
The detective nodded and pulled out his phone, 'I'll have someone send me her file. I made a note that she had a very weak camouflage quirk with a question mark. I now remember when she mentioned it, she made it sound like she wasn't sure, and therefore my quirk couldn't determine if she was flat-out lying or not.'
Tsu felt a sense of dread and anticipation arise in her body and given how Katsuki clenched his fist against his knee, she was certain he felt it too. Without thinking, she reached over and covered his fist with her palm giving him an encouraging look which he accepted given he unclenched his palm and linked their fingers together. It warmed her heart how acceptant he could be of her support and love now.
'Here it is,' said the detective, and both turned to look and listen to him, 'The file states she has a weak mind-alerting quirk.'
For a moment Tsu flinched at those words for some reason. Apart from some training sessions with Shinso Hitoshi back when they were in U.A, she had one more instant during a fight when she was caught off-guard by such a quirk. Remembering the state her mind was in during those few moments, she was under the villain's hold made her skin crawl under her clothing.
The dread seized when she felt the ash-blond who was still holding her hand squeeze her fingers as a silent encouragement that made her breath out in relief.
'If not present for a long time or if she uses it, she can make certain people who didn't meet with her often forget about her. I suppose that is why only Bakugou remembered her. Her quirk isn't strong enough to cause any harm though and once we thought about her it was easy to remember her again,' said the detective, but Katsuki scolded, 'Not strong enough to cause any harm my ass. Then she had to be behind all of this bullshit, right? She was shifty from the start, and it's beyond suspicious she was present when all this bullshit went down.'
Despite being a firm believer in someone's innocence until proven otherwise, Tsu couldn't help but agree, 'She could be the woman from the surveillance from the coffee shop.'
'I'm fucking getting her ass here,' said the ash-blond obviously upset, and stood up letting go of her hand in the process. He pulled out his phone and obviously went through the employee's files to find her phone number.
'Let's not jump to conclusions straight away. She wasn't lying during the first time I interviewed her, and a night's notice is short to rearrange her plans if she was planning to take a day off or got sick. She's likely involved, but we cannot be certain,' stated the detective also rising to his feet.
Katsuki groaned and spat the words out, 'Voice mail. Every time.'
He looked at Tsu who patiently waiting for him to see what he wanted to do next. She knew he was a victim as much as she was. He felt betrayed by someone who worked for him and caused her trouble, and she knew him well enough to know he needed to find his footing on his own.
'It would be better for the investigation if you let us locate her and talk to her. You can be present for the interview, but I would prefer if you left the questioning to me. Is that alright?' spoke the detective.
The sea-green-haired woman had no illusions over what Katsuki had to think of such arrangements since she thought so too, but how could they argue with the police on this?
She watched the ash-blond take in several deep breaths and nodded although he would have been more believable if steam wasn't rolling out of his ear, 'Do it.'
The detective nodded and went to call someone while Tsu leaned closer to him, 'That was a good call.'
He rolled his red eyes before he shot her a look, 'Don't act like you're all zen about sitting around and waiting.'
She sighed, 'I'm not, but it's the most logical thing to do. Besides, kero.'
The ash-blond frowned in confusion while Tsu offered him a cheeky smile, 'I want my date now.' She wasn't certain if it was too soon, but to be honest, she felt if they waited longer, she might just jump him to get it over with or at the very least kiss him for the hell of it. She never felt so engaged in any one of her previous boyfriends to be this impatient. It wasn't like her at all. But she never felt such a strong connection to her often, and she definitely didn't share the same space and air with them 24/7. Maybe it would have done them both some good if they managed to put some distance between them, but honestly, that was the absolutely last thing, the pro-heroine wanted. She was sure Katsuki felt the same.
Also, it sounded much more pleasurable than waiting around for Detective Tsukauchi to give them some news.
He watched her for a while before he smirked with a glimpse of something that got her heartbeat to spike again behind his red eyes that told her he knew something she didn't and then made a point to look her up and down, 'You're gonna need to change though.'
Blinking Tsu glanced at her clothing. She wasn't too overdressed or underdressed. She thought she was wearing typical outside clothing. She wouldn't think Katsuki would plan anything too fancy since he was strongly allergic to those kinds of events.
Curious, she looked back at him, 'Into what?'
The ash-blond grinned like a cat that ate the canary, 'Into something you won't fucking mind when I'll kick your ass in.'
Less than twenty minutes later, Tsu found herself dressed in her workout clothing she luckily kept in her work bag, and waiting for Katsuki in his agency's gym. Luckily, he didn't take too long, and after an approving look started to lead her to the sparring mat.
'So, you think I'll enjoy beating you for our first date?' she asked linking her arms behind her back and following him while eyeing his behind. He looked unfairly good in his workout clothes. Just as, if not more, than he did in his expensive suit. It just worked for him and showed off the outlines of his back muscles and legs so well, that it caused Tsu's cheek to feel hot all over again, 'You're not wrong though.'
He glanced back at her catching her.
It made her flinch, but the ash-blond simply smirked obviously pleased with catching her eyeing him if the way he flexed his arms a bit was anything to go by, 'Don't get cocky, Froggy. You hadn't even seen my moves in ages.'
Trying to cool down and not be so obviously thirsty, Tsu took a moment to admire Katsuki's gym. She knew he worked hard to achieve his agency's success and put a lot of work into having a place he could work out and improve where he would also feel good. She knew mainly given the recent events how important it was to be somewhere he could feel good and at home. She started to feel stronger about those places too.
'What's wrong?' his question caused her to blink and turn back to face him, 'S-sorry, kero. Just got lost in thoughts.'
He watched her for a second before he spoke obviously tensing up, 'If you want to do something else-'
She shook her head and patted his arm lovingly, 'Not at all. I just thought about how good you must feel here. I can see you put a lot of effort into here. It screams Dynamight all over.'
The ash-blond lost some of the tension in his shoulders. She could tell, he was really worried for a moment, he messed up and got insecure which wasn't easy for him. She hoped to do better in the future so he wouldn't catch doubts like that about his choices for their date again, 'It's the only place I actually like. The office is just-'
'An office,' agreed Tsu and sighed, 'I dislike mine too. It's so sterile. The agency has many rules about personal and shared spaces,' she complained. It wasn't so she could tear her agency and bosses down. She already mentioned this issue to a few people. It wasn't a total loss, but it bothered her quite a bit. Her apartment used to be the only place she felt at home. More than that. It used to be the only place, she felt like herself. Now the only place she felt that was Katsuki's apartment. Mainly because he had no problem having her change and add whatever she pleased to it. The killer view and large bath also helped. A lot.
Katsuki reached over and brushed some pieces of loose hair behind her ear. She put her hair in a tie for the sparring, but it was hard to manage properly. His touch was gentle, and it never failed to amaze her someone like he could feel like that, 'Won't even let you have a frog paper-weight or tiny pot plant. Fucking bastards.'
'Damn right,' she agreed purposely using her fake Bakugouvoice which caused the blond to roll his eyes but smirk at the same time. She knew he thought it was funny, 'Don't push it.'
They went toward the mat putting off their shoes, 'Once this is over, and we know what the hell happened with my assistant, you can come work here.' It was hardly the first time, he offered her to work for his agency, and it was hardly the first time, she felt tempted to do so.
'What if we don't work out?' she asked reasonably and watched carefully for his reactions, 'It might happen, kero.' She could name several of their former classmates and coworkers who didn't work out. Neither of them was in the same agency to make things awkward afterward.
If the question surprised him, Katsuki didn't let it show, in fact, to her own surprise, he seemed calm and in a good mood.
He partly turned to look at her with nothing but his typical confidence behind his red eyes, 'Don't be ridiculous. I'm not fucking planning to screw it up, and you never could so this question is pointless to begin with.'
Tsu's heart speeded up, and she felt a shiver rush through her body reaching something inside her lower belly and warming it up in the instant. It always felt good to be in Katsuki's presence. It felt even better when they were flirting. This didn't feel like a cocky little line to arouse her or get under her skin. This felt like a promise that shook her to her core. Realistically, there were plenty of reasons why they didn't have to work out, but at this very moment because of just how serious he made it sound, how real it all seemed, Asui Tsuyu couldn't think up a single one. She didn't even want to think up a single one. She just wanted to step closer to him and dive into the confidence he seemed to have about them that they just would work out. No matter what.
Swallowing she knew her voice was affected by him and his words, 'L-let's get started.'
'Good, don't expect me to go easy on you,' he said and offered her his hand to shake in the name of comradery.
She reached out and took it, which he immediately used to pull her closer causing her chest to hit his.
Stars were dancing in his eyes and his voice sounded nothing short of breathless promise, 'But I promise to massage and cream your ass once I'm done with it. Every single bruise will get special care.'
Her heartbeat went over the roof, and Tsu was tempted to rub her legs together right there in front of him because of that voice and words alone. She didn't think anyone ever made her feel as unfairly aroused as Katsuki had. It was seriously surreal that someone could have such an effect on another person. She still couldn't believe she found someone who affected her like this.
Not someone…Katsuki, she thought to herself hypnotized by his gaze and presence, Katsuki affects me like this.
A hiccupped croak escaped her throat, and she licked her lips embarrassed he saw what he did to her. She glanced away to compose herself but thought better of it and despite herself squeezed his hand firmer, 'Promise?'
Her dark gaze met his, and she leaned closer almost like she wanted to kiss his chin, 'Because I already ache in a few places…I think I'll need you sooner than that.'
The way his red eyes turned dark auburn was enough to tell her she got under his skin too, but she was sure she did when she saw his handsome throat swallow hard, and his grip become tighter, 'Fucking minx.'
'You started it, kero,' she reminded him, and finally, he let her hand go which was good because with how hot and bothered she felt and knew he did too, she wasn't certain they would manage a few more moments of friendly horny chat before they would need to do something about it all.
We're really pushing it today, she thought to herself. It truly felt like everything about them was charged with electricity.
They settled for three rounds that would end once they managed to pin the other down. No quirks this time. They weren't planning to go ease on the other, but Katsuki had something else planned later so they couldn't drag it out for hours.
Tsu didn't mind. She immediately felt the rush of adrenaline and knew the ash-blond did too. It was like their unresolved tension bleed into their matches, and they pushed each other hard and heavy no doubt making up for what happened before.
She thought she was doing good. It wasn't easy or quick to get the other to the mat and have him stay there, so it still dragged on for a while, but ultimately when she got Katsuki under her a second time, she knew she won. It wasn't bad. He definitely had her and caught her by surprise more times than her ego would like her to admit, but she was still more used to hand-in-hand and close combat than he was. If quirks were involved, she wouldn't have gotten him in a single match.
Sweating and panting, she couldn't help but feel carefree and relieved. It really helped to be able to let loose like this. Not to mention it was fun. She had only ever been on a few dates with other heroes, but they never did this. It didn't occur to her it might be so relaxing and yet so sexual. Although that might have just been because of Katsuki.
Everything he does makes me want to pull him down and kiss him until we can't breathe, she thought with sweat dripping down her face onto his shirt as she was sitting on his stomach caging his wrists with her hands and his body with her thighs. He did say he liked them.
It felt bizarre that he let her do this. She would think given what she knew Katsuki wouldn't be so eager to give control to someone else. Even her. She would think he wouldn't let anyone be on top so to speak.
She lost her grip on his wrists and smiled wondering, Maybe just me.
However, just as she was about to declare her victory, he snatched the front of her shirt and pulled her face toward his capturing her lips for a kiss that took her breath away.
Without missing a beat she closed her eyes and moaned feeling like finally the real pressure that had been holding her inside her by a rubber band had snapped, and she found her freedom.
Immediately, his palm went to the back of her hair, and Tsu assumed it was so he could kiss her deeper, which he did properly causing her heart to quiver. But also, without a second to spare, the Number One Hero had her on her back dragging his tongue over hers all the while making sure his hand on the back of her head protected her from hitting it against the mat.
So kind, she thought absently allowing him to map her mouth with his tongue while she enjoyed the taste. She didn't even mind if he used a trick like that or broke the no-kissing rule.
Her legs were still wrapped around his waists, and with every move, she could feel he was getting harder again making her moan again at the sensation of having him this close. If she would just reach between them and pull their pants lower, he could slide right inside her.
The thought thrilled her like no other making her suck on his tongue earning a deep mainly groan.
She shivered at the sound and vibration and her palms reached his back roaming his muscles and enjoying the soft groan that vibrated into her parted lips when she reached his back hair and gripped them.
When he broke the kiss probably so they could breathe, she couldn't help but blurt out with a breathless voice, 'Don't use that one on villains, kero.'
The hooded red eyes and slight confusion told Tsu, Katsuki didn't understand her for a second before he chuckled and leaned down kissing her one more time painfully slow before saying, 'Fuck no.'
Her lips missed his when he pulled away again, 'I only use that on cute froggies.'
She hummed, and they remained like that for another few moments, before Katsuki sighed and stood up making sure he secured the back of her thighs so he could pick her up still wrapped around him, 'You win this one.'
She grinned, 'You sure?' her hands slid toward the back of his neck, and she purposely rolled her hips into his. He was still very obviously hard, and the look he shot her made it clear, he wasn't all that happy about it.
For a hot moment, he squeezed the back of her thighs dangerously close to other places before he moved his hands to break her hold on him, 'Yeah, fucking sure, you tease. Besides we still got places to go.'
Once her feet were safely on the ground, she slowly slid her palms over his shoulders and chest all the while talking, 'You sure your ego can handle losing to me?'
'Yeah, it's fucking big enough to handle cute little you.'
Under her palm, she could feel his heart beating just as fast as her own. Somehow, they finally got out of the gym and took turns in showers before they made their way to his office, 'I had a temp pick something so I hope he didn't fuck up too badly.'
Tsu was beyond curious about what he meant and the moment she saw what he was holding, she laughed, 'Y-you're seriously planning to wear that?'
Without missing a beat, he flipped her off and put a green Froppycap over his blond hair. It was a generic cap that must have been sold a hundred of times, but it still warmed her heart that out of all the things he could use to hide his identity in public he decided to support her.
'You're gonna wear my hoodie so don't fucking bother,' he said and tossed her an orange and black Dynamight hoodie. It wasn't any limited edition. She didn't keep taps before, but ever since she got more involved with Katsuki, she paid closer attention to his life and hero work. That included his fandom and what the media had to say about him.
Still, once she pulled down her sweater, pulled the hoodie on, and brushed the logo with her palms a few times, she felt strangely delighted about the idea of ownership they shared of each other now.
Tsu looked up just as she saw Katsuki fixing some loose hair and hiding it more under her cap before he glanced at her.
His eyes drifted to the hoodie, naturally, and she could see the way the corner of his mouth pulled up. He liked her wearing his merch too.
He's so cute, she thought, 'Katsu-chan,' she said and started to pull out her phone, 'Let's take a picture.'
He didn't protest, and immediately put an arm around her waist to drag her closer, 'Remember you can't post it until afterward. Beats the purpose of incognito if you go around social media with a picture.'
She flipped her camera to the front one, and turned to look at him, 'You'll let me post it, huh?'
He blinked and for a second looked surprised like he didn't even realize stopping her or refusing her was an option which warmed Tsu's already feverish heart even more.
He sighed and pulled her closer to his side, 'Didn't you notice there's literally nothing I won't let you do?'
She gave him a soft look before she pressed her lips against his cheek and took the picture. Her lips slide lower and her nose press against his skin. She would have sworn it felt warmer, 'Was it a good one?' she asked about the picture since she couldn't bring herself to stop touching his skin and look.
'No idea,' commented Katsuki and turned his face toward hers so he could softly kiss her lips again.
Tsu took a few more pictures and then forgot all about it until they started to run late.
The trip to the movies and the movie itself was fun. There was no pressure, and the anonymity of their disguises allowed them to act like anyone else. It was stupid. They were wearing each other faces across their bodies, and yet, it seemed like that was the key element why no one bothered to look at them twice.
'Can't believe it works, kero,' she whispered at one point wondering if she could even pull off her hat and get away with it since no one really seemed to look at her too closely while she and Katsuki walked toward the movie theater.
'Really? Don't you know most people are fucking idiots?' asked Katsuki sarcastically, and she nudged his side for good measures, 'Don't be mean.'
He grunted something and let go of her hand so he could put it around her shoulders and pull her closer to whisper, 'Distract me then.'
She decided she should if only to keep him from insulting everyone by giving him a small kiss every now and then.
The whole experience left Tsu feeling giddy and giggly throughout the whole ordeal. In U.A things were too hectic, and she never really connected with anyone to go and experience teenage dates like this. So having one now with Katsuki felt really good. She wasn't sure if the grumpy ash-blond shared her sentiment, but he seemed relieved or happy every time he looked her way holding onto her palm and keeping her close.
Before she became linked to Katsuki, she could have gone to movies without a problem but having him brush her knee or hold her hand left the atmosphere so much different from those times.
'So?' he asked once they made their way outside, away from the crowd.
She beamed hoping he would understand she meant it and was glad he thought of this, 'It was good. Different than when we're at home. I like those movie nights too, kero.'
He pulled her closer again, 'Yeah, wouldn't probably wait until the end of the movie for this.' She was about to ask what, when he pulled her under his arm again and kissed her again, 'Wouldn't probably wait until the opening credits.'
She giggled against his lips. It felt so good to be able to do this.
So easy, she thought astonished. She had been prioritizing her work for such a long time, she felt like she never really got a real relationship that could last and feared if she did it would have to be nothing but hard work, but with Katsuki, today and every other day since they fake date everything felt strangely easy. Even stressful things that made her anxious something felt lighter when he was around.
Katsuki seemed oddly soft when he caressed her cheek taking a very close and serious look at her face, 'I want you to enjoy yourself. You deserve it.'
She blinked and smiled tilting her head so she could press her face against his touch some more, 'Baku-chan. I always enjoy myself when I'm with you. Don't you?'
He swallowed, 'I-it's not the same. You're like…fuck…you're warm and sweet and kind and all that other cute stuff that makes me want to fucking hide you in my arms, you know?' he asked and shook his head struggling to voice his feelings yet still delivering them flawlessly for Tsu to understand, 'I know you're also strong and smart and all that, but you feel so much nicer than me. Almost too much for someone like me. Like…' Tsu waited but when he didn't finish, she figured, he didn't know what else to say, so she calmly took hold of the black hoodie and pulled him closer for a quick slow kiss.
Once she broke free, she opened her eyes again, 'You're enough for me. You're more than enough for me. You prove that every time you do something like this for me.'
She patted his chest making him meet her gaze again, 'You always do things for me. Just for me and they made me feel special.'
'They shouldn't,' he argued, 'You should always feel like this. You deserve it.'
'You'll spoil me,' she tried to say feeling embarrassed from all his praise, but he quickly cut her off, 'About time someone does.'
It was incredibly hard for Tsu not to cry or kiss the life out of him again at that moment. He acted so tough and cursed so often, but he was nothing but cotton candy sweet to her all the time demanding she deserved far more than she really did. It made her feel so special. He made her feel so special. She hoped she did the same for him. She really needed to know she did.
She took hold of his palm and pulled him to start walking again, 'I don't want someone. I want only you, kero. Do you understand?'
His gaze softened, and he dragged her palm to his lips to kiss the back of her fingers, 'Yeah, I fucking understand, Tsuyu.'
Inside the apartment, Tsu argued that she would help him make dinner which Katsuki agreed to but only after her relentless teasing and while gritting his teeth and complaining about how stubborn she was.
'You can cook something when I'm at work,' she said as a peace offering which caused the ash-blond hero to crack up, 'Like I won't without your permission?'
'I didn't use to have people cook for me before, kero' she commented while working with the meat to which Katsuki tickled her lower back only for her to realize he tied her lose apron, 'Yeah, because you dated garbage before me, Froggy. Don't worry, I'll raise your standards astronomically.'
She rolled her eyes but still giggled at how he made a point to sound overconfident. She couldn't always argue or bring him down to keep him humble since she knew firsthand most of the things he boasted about were facts. Despite his arguments and insecurities, he was a pretty good boyfriend. Fake and real.
'This was the best real date ever,' she told him once they finished eating making a point to watch his face and feeling beyond thrilled and ecstatic when she saw the tips of his ears turn red, 'Yeah?'
'Uh-huh,' she touched his arm and made him turn to her and away from the dishes that were soaked so there was no point in cleaning them right away.
Her dark eyes met his all the while she gave him an honest smile, 'It was perfect. You really know me well, Katsuki.'
He glanced at her mouth, 'I told you.'
'I know, kero,' she said still holding his arm. She was tired of waiting. Exhausted of it. Today went so well. She even forgot about the whole mess with Katsuki's assistant. All she could focus on was him, and she felt ridiculous, young, and happy.
Asui Tsuyu was never one to be coy or play silly games, so she did what she always tried to do and stayed honest with herself and him.
'I like you,' she whispered feeling like she might collapse from how fast her heart was beating. She honestly felt a bit dizzy like she needed to sit down but instead kept on holding onto his arm and grounding herself by keeping her gaze locked with his. It wasn't entirely what she wanted to say, but it felt ridiculous to claim she loved him so soon, so quickly, no matter how true it felt inside her heart that she did.
The ash-blond's body trembled. She could feel it from where she was holding him. Maybe he felt a shiver?
He licked his lips and looked at her mouth again, 'Yeah?'
She giggled both in desperation and joy, 'Oh my goodness, yes, you idiot, I like you! How could…,' she kept on smiling but lowered her voice and shook her head, 'how could I not?'
He snatched her face between his palms and crashed his mouth to hers. The way he dragged his lips across hers felt painfully slow and sensual gripping a hold inside Tsu's lower belly and never letting go.
Her eyes closed as she surrendered her all to the kiss and him.
She gasped into the kiss and at the feeling wondering how it was possible that it felt so stupidly good even after all this time. How could it possibly feel like Katsuki was kissing her for the first time again and again and better and better? It wasn't real. It was insane, and she let herself drown in that pool of insanity just to feel it all over again.
He broke the kiss by sucking on her upper lip for a second and letting go. Already, both of them were breathing hard, 'I fucking like you.'
'Yeah?'
He shook his head while still pressing most of his face against hers, 'Shut up.'
They both chuckled at that, and he dived in again this time pushing his tongue against hers and moaning deeply in a way that made her insides vibrate with anticipation. It had been ages since she had anyone make her feel lust other than Katsuki. And she never had anyone who made her feel quite like this except for him.
His hands were on her body now brushing her back and waist squeezing with gentle firmness that made her ache and whimper every once in a while. She wanted more.
He made out with her mouth almost like he was making love to it, nibbling, sucking, and teasing the hell out of her. Tsu didn't really notice he was moving her. All she could focus on was the feeling of his lips against hers and breathing, but then the back of her thighs hit the kitchen table, and she blinked.
When Katsuki broke the kiss, it left her with a whiplash.
'What's that smell?' he asked looking pissed and excited at the same time, 'What the fuck is that smell that's making me want you since day one, huh?' He stroked her cheek feverishly gazing into her dark eyes, 'What is it?'
Tsu blinked again trying to remember to speak let alone understand what he was saying, 'Uh…W-waterlily. All my products are waterlily.'
She didn't understand why he was asking about that though.
The Number One Hero paused his roaming hands across her body and put his forehead against hers.
He smiled looking a little manic, 'Fucking waterlily. Do you fucking know how often I wracked my brain trying to guess it?'
She put her hand into the back of his head and buried her fingers into his ash-blond hair. She still didn't properly comprehend the meaning of the waterlily, but she liked how desperate he sounded and felt. Desperate for her.
Teasing him a bit she said in a cute voice although it came out more breathless than it should, 'You could have just asked me, kero.'
He shook his head against her, 'I want to know shit without asking.'
He kissed her again so deeply and brutally that she almost fell backward like he was proving a point. His hand on her back stopped her but only for a moment before the fierce force of his kiss and tongue pushed her again.
He carried on bruising her lips in the process before pressing her back flat against the kitchen table and towering over her.
'I…I want to know what makes you wet,' he panted above her centimeters away from her mouth again, 'and scream without asking, Tsu. Understand?'
He didn't leave her time to answer and immediately captured her mouth again. Tsu stopped needing air completely and instead started to need more of his lips. They tasted deliciously. Not just like the food they just finished or the snacks they shared in the movie theater, but like the best treat of her life.
Her underwear felt uncomfortable and wet, and she cursed herself for not changing after they came to eat. She wanted to be cute and keep the hoodie on for a bit longer, but now she wanted to have a shirt or dress so Katsuki could just reach between her legs and touch her.
She rolled her hips upwards hoping he would see and feel her and know what she needed now.
It felt almost painful to be so neglected there when she felt so good from his kiss.
Please, please, please, she begged silently, touch me more.
She broke the kiss to get some oxygen, but Katsuki merely moved to her neck leaving wet marks everywhere he could reach.
Tsu moaned carelessly over who might see them imagining admiring little dots he would leave behind the same way he did when he marked her with his quirk, 'K-Katsuki.'
He groaned into her skin making her close her eyes and roll her hips upwards again.
'Fuck…,' he cursed, 'I-I want to know everything about you… without having to fucking ask just feel and see it… got it?' he asked struggling to get the words out which was how she felt.
When he found the peculiar spot behind her ear, Tsu moaned loud and deep causing him to return to her mouth. He pushed her into the table some more, and she went with ease pulling him closer and even trapping him between her legs by crossing them behind his back.
'Got you, kero-ah!' she moaned out or croaked, she didn't know or care as long as she finally Katsuki close enough to feel him.
He groaned when their pelvis and middle met and bit her lower lip. Not enough to damage just enough to tease her out of her mind while mumbling, 'Fucking waterlilies.'
Tsu couldn't help but giggle, and Katsuki didn't bother to shut her up with another kiss and instead moved toward her chest. His touch was hot and felt good enough for her to lose her mind.
Subconsciously, but willingly, she started to roll her hips into his again making him moan and nibble at her skin hard enough to leave love bites and bruises behind. She liked it.
'More-please,' she begged to find comfort and fetish in the feeling of his open-mouthed kisses against her skin, 'Mark me.'
She stroked his hair and closed her eyes enjoying him moving across her chest. It felt freeing to have him touch her like this after craving it for so long. It felt heavenly to be craved like this. She wanted so much more from him it should have scared her, but all her lustful mind could comprehend was bliss from finally having him.
His hands snuck under the hem of her hoodie and started to move up toward her bra.
Their gazes met, and he whispered like he was afraid someone might hear and catch them, 'You're so soft. Makes me afraid I'll fucking hurt you.'
'I'm tougher than that,' she assured him gripping his hair if only to prove to him she could be rough too.
His breath hit the opening of her hoodie as he chuckled, 'I know, don't worry.'
Just as she felt him reach under her bra and let out a soft moan to encourage him to continue happy enough that she might cry from actually getting here, she heard the dreadful sound of both of their phones going off at the same time.
Katsuki stopped, but it took a large shake to rush across the apartment and for the lights to go off for a split-second for him to pull his hands away.
Tsu opened her eyes completely and let him go. He looked just as wrecked as she felt. His hair was a mess, his cheeks seemed flushed, and his lips were swollen. It made her want to reach out and pull him closer again, but she knew she couldn't.
Because the moment he checked his phone and turned to her she knew there was a crisis that required them as pro-heroes.
'They're calling everyone in,' his voice was hoarse and pissed probably because they had to stop. She didn't blame him, she felt like crying or laughing at the absurdity that now out of all of the times something like this would happen, but without missing another second she jumped down from the table still feeling her legs were weak from everything she can Katsuki did and nodded, 'Let's go.'
There were so many emotions and feelings she wanted to voice and act out on, but she knew, she couldn't.
It was their job, but it was more than that, it was their duty, after all.
A.N: Hi, I'm sorry for taking so long to finish this chapter. I think two more chapters will follow. I need to finish this story before the end of summer. I hope all of you are safe. Have a nice day.
