What if… Sora saved the Justice League?

Journey to face the Unknown as the unthinkable happens. Brainiac turns his sights on Earth to terraform it into a New Colu. With the only heroes who can stop under his control and Waller dead… things seem lost… when the Multiverse gives this earth a chance with a boy who can touch hearts with his own. So follow Sora as you ponder the question: What if…? (Spoilers: for SS:KJL)

6. Chapter 6: Birds of a Feather

I don't own Kingdom Hearts or any of the characters within the Arkhamverse. They belong to Square Enix, Disney, DC, and Rocksteady. Alright after a month we're back with another chapter and right after Easter break... for those of you that have that week off. Anyways, without another moment of delay, let's reply to some reviews before going into the chapter!

the mysterious Mr.E: I'll get that fixed as soon as I can. Thanks.

Guest02957: Don't forget Cyborg, and Mr. Terrific. Not quite, it's sort of hinted in this chapter but it'll get explained fully in the next chapter. Billy will join the fight as Captain Marvel, but not until much later in the story.

Crazzytony: You guessed one of them! Hope you like who else shows up in this chapter! And all the future ones!

Ariel69: I had already confirmed that there would be in the last chapter in author's note in the end that we would see Final Fantasy characters starting with this chapter. So, be prepared to see some familiar faces in FF-verse.

KingNice92: There will be as for you know who it's not matter of if but a matter of when. (Hears One-Winged Angel in the distance).

Harold Godwinson: There will be big handful of Disney Characters (probably not from Rayna and the Last Dragon. Wasn't the biggest fan of the story, noting against the acting or the performance, and it had its moments: I just wasn't the fan of the moral.) But the others you mentioned have a good chance of showing up. And yes, until the end, Diana remains a hero, through and through unlike her Injustice counterpart.

keybladelight: Wow! You had a lot of thoughts about this story. Not that I'm complaining. Far from it! I'm happy that you enjoying this crossover so far! Can't say too much without spoilers but I will say this. Brainiac, as of this moment, thinks Sora as an unexpected anomaly so he's currently looking through the DC Multiverse between the 13 counterparts currently invading Earths to turn them into New Colus so he's not going to discover the Injustice Sora's counterpart... yet! And I'm currently... I wanna say earlier mid game. Enjoying it so far... except for the ridiculous mini piano game. I can't be the only one who finds it way too challenging, right? Sorry for the little rant, I just felt that mini game could have been down way better. Looking forward to finishing the main story! And I hope you enjoy this chapter so far.

Yorozuya Forever: Totally agree, if anything, Disney Hercules is like if what Superman would be if he only had super strength. I definitely plan him to have an appearance here and join the fight. Plus, you can't go wrong with James Woods as Hades. And yes, Simba still has his fire abilities from Kingdom Hearts III.

Sinner and Redeemer: I will answer your question with a question... who put the glad in gladiator~? Hope thatanswers your question.

danifan3000: 1. Oh, no the League aren't Nobodies. They didn't lose their hearts. They're just been corrupted by Brainiac. Details of how it was done will be revealed later in the story.

2. Yes, FF characters will make an appearance in this starting with this chapter but they games don't exist in this timeline so everyone will be unfamiliar to them. Kinda like Sora. Plus, let's face it, out of the two properties that make Kingdom Hearts, people are more familiar with Disney. I know I was when I first played, never heard of Final Fantasy until later on in life.

Espa120: Yeah, no Smash characters in this. Focusing on Disney and a little Final Fantasy in this. Sorry.

VaderSkywalker: Dude, it's fine. We have lives and jobs outside of fanfic. So it's okay if you don't leave a review right away. And yes, TAS Waller is probably the most humanity out of her other counterparts. Currently Supergirl is still lost in space so don't expect her to show except in the epilogue. And I do plan to have some of the Marvel Heroes show up to lend a hand. I figured Simba deserved to know the full truth after living with the guilt of a crime he never committed. This could help him move forward in his life.

ohnymike98: Oh, you'll enjoy all the faces due to make an appearance in this. With laughs and references filled within this story.

Odd enough, never saw the show outside of a few episodes. Been meaning to check it out though. Can't make on any promises of Robin surviving though. As for how Penguin and Nightwing react to eachother... you'll see...

ShadowWolfG31: There will be plenty of references to DC heroes in this fic. Even those who don't show up. You'll see. Plus, there will be a new addition to the DC heroes in this chapter.

ZeroOrHero: By Snowball, do you mean Marshmallow? Because I think you're referring to Marshmallow since you put him by Elsa. No confirming or denying. Just asking. Anyways, you just might see those on your list appearing in here. Glad you are enjoying this so far. I confirmed that we would see Final Fantasy Characters in this but the games don't exist in this universe. They be in the dark just as they were with Sora. I hope to finish my other Justice League Kingdom Hearts story one day, but I guess we'll just to have to see what happens. But hey, Sora will get new powers and abilities in this, so there's something to look forward to. And you just might see a few Disney villains in this. Not Maleficent and Pete but certainly a few will show up. And perhaps a certain FF villain?

twilightnite13: Well, to answer your question: this isn't the first time Watcher observed the DC universe. In Cannon! I'm not sure if you know, but Marvel and DC did a Justice League/Avengers crossover event, and we saw the Watcher witnessing the League figuring out what's happening to their universe on the Watchtower. And we will see some Final Fantasy characters in this. And if Brainiac does learn about Sora from that universe, it'll only be a mild inconvenience for latter in the end.

Khy Dragon: You just might see her.

KingNice92: Right now, he's far more interested in Sora as his army seemed pretty unstoppable until now. His path might clash with Yozora's, it might not. We'll see.

Chapter 6: Birds of a Feather

When Diana was a little girl, she had been told many tales of the Keyblade Masters of old. Strong. Brave. Noble. Honorable. These were only a few words to describe them. While the Amazons despised mankind, Keyblade Wielders, even the men, had songs of praises. Warriors capable of fighting the darkness itself. Yet one day, they had vanished without a trace.

Still, she had always dreamed that one day, they would return and she would be able to fight side by side with them. When Steve Trevor crash-landed on Themyscira in 1918, she had hoped he was one of them.

Of course, as good of a man Steve was, lacked the ability to wield the Keyblade. Still, their fated meeting did encourage her to finally leave the island, and fight as mankind's protector. She missed Steve and would always love him.

When the Justice League was formed about five years ago, she believed this would be the closest thing to living the dream of fighting those of Keyblade Wielders.

She never dreamed that now of all times, she would be finally living out her dream. Of course, she did expect the first Keyblade Wielder she met to be a little older. Sora ran eagerly outside as Heartless and Nobodies swarmed the streets of Metropolis. Nightwing, Captain Atom, Hawkgirl, and King Simba joined him as she looked around those she would fight alongside this incision. Hopefully, with Sora's help, their numbers would grow. He looked around the group, "So, where do we find this Penguin again?"

Just then, the coms. went active their ears, as Oracle's voice spoke up, "Okay, everyone. You're all now connected to a secure channel. We should be able to communicate with each other without anyone listening in... Simba, I know yours was specifically made for you. Can you hear us okay?"

"Loud and clear, Oracle," Simba smiled and nodded, "I hear ya."

"Good to hear," Mr. Terrific spoke up, "The moment you volunteered to help, Victor and I worked on a special communicator just for you on the field. If any other animals wish to help, be it from Pride Rock or elsewhere... we'll make sure that everyone stays in touch."

Oracle spoke up, "Sora, we linked your visors with the Bat Computer. It should help you find wherever you need to go. So, you don't need to worry about getting lost, even if you get separated from the others."

"Thanks, Oracle," Sora smiled in appreciation, "So, we're going after the Penguin."

"Not yet," Lois's voice spoke through the coms, "Mr. Terrific and Cyborg are still running system checks on your visors. We don't want Brainiac getting into our systems. We're going to do a little test run before going after him."

"How do you recommend we do that, Commander," Captain Atom asked the leader of the resistance.

"Well, we still don't know a lot about the energy that Brainiac is using to terraform the planet," The leader of the resistance began, "Only that whenever Sora uses he's Keyblade on it, we get a new ally or he gets new powers. Either way, I want you to check some of them out."

"Considering who we're up against," Nightwing nodded, "Both are beneficial and it requires the data Mr. Terrific needs."

"Where do we look first?" Diana asked those within the Hall of Justice.

"I have access to the Wayne satellites, and I've marked the nearest one to your location on Sora's visors and Nightwing's Detective Vision," Oracle answered as Sora saw the location on his visors, "There's also a lot of Heartless nearby so be careful."

"Then there has to be someone in there," Diana recalled Sora's explanation for the Heartless, "We'll get them out."

"We better get moving then." Nightwing nodded as he pulled out a grapple hook before taking a shot at the top of a building and zipped over to it.

Diana turned to Sora, "Are you able to move quickly?"

"I may have lost most of my abilities, but I did pick up a new trick," Sora reassured her. He then used the keychain of his Keyblade to launch himself where Nightwing zip lined to.

Wonder Woman smiled as she, Captain Atom, and Hawkgirl flew after them. Simba shook his head in amusement, "Show offs..."

The lion then ran on all fours to keep up with them. As they headed towards, the location, Captain Atom muttered to himself, "I can understand Nightwing taking lead on this mission, as he's dealt with the Penguin more than any of us, and I can understand the need to follow you, Wonder Woman, but..." He turned to the other more experienced heroes that flew along side him, "...are we really betting the safety of the world in the hands of a kid?"

"You still doubt his capabilities, Captain?" Diana glanced at the nuclear-powered hero, "Even after providing intel on the enemy, and has the ability to gain allies for us."

"I'm not arguing that he hasn't been helpful," Captain Atom reassured Diana, he looked down at the teen, "But just look at him. He's young, naive, too young to be involved with the stakes this high..." He turned to her in disbelief, "You really think he has what it takes to save the world?"

"I don't think he does. I know he does!" Wonder Woman nodded with confidence, "The Keyblade chose him for a reason. That feat itself proves that he has a strong good heart. Sure, he's a little younger than I thought he'd be..."

"A little?" Hawkgirl glanced at the Amazon Princess.

"Fine, I wasn't expecting him to be a teenager," She full-heartedly admitted, "But he's not a rookie either. Just wait until he gets his full strength back. He just might surprise us."

"Consider his weapon is the only thing that can hurt Brainiac's forces, we just have to keep him alive long to get that strength," Hawkgirl glanced to the boy, who kept up with Nightwing on the rooftops, "We'll have Green Lantern, Batman, Superman, and Flash gunning for him the moment Brainiac realizes he becomes a bigger threat as long as we keep fighting."

"That's not to mention this Yozora character..." Captain Atom pointed out as he turned to Diana, "You sure it was wise to set him free?"

"I gave him a message to the man who sent him after Sora," Her eyes narrowed, "If he's wise, he won't come after him again, or I personally will see to it his master gets sent to Stryker's island."

"Hey, guys," Sora's voice spoke on the coms., "I think we're here."

Wonder Woman looked down to see the portal currently surrounded by Heartless, "I see it. We'll join you now."

With that, the three flyers flew down to the building Nightwing and Sora were...

"So how do I scan it?" Sora asked Nightwing as he messed around with his visors.

"You're going to want a closer image, so I suggest you use your visors to zoom in," The former protege of Batman stated. Press the R3 button."

Sora did what Nightwing suggested, "Okay, now what?"

"Just hold down L2," He instructed.

"Like this?" Sora pressed two fingers on the button causing his visors to flash.

"There ya go," Nightwing smiled as the flyers landed beside the two.

Just then, Mr. Terrific spoke through the coms., "Alright, I received the first scan. You're free to release whoever is trapped inside."

"Cool!" Sora smiled before turning to the others, "Alright, Mr. Terrific said-"

"We know, Sora," Captain Atom stated as he tapped on his com. piece, "We heard."

"Oh, right," Sora nodded sheepishly.

Wonder Woman looked down at the Heartless guarding the portal, then looked at an alley where Simba was stalking them. He whispered in his coms., "I see the Heartless and I'm ready to pounce whenever you guys are."

"I see you, Simba," Diana replied, "When I give the word, jump in..." She then turned to the others, "Alright, we can either do this two ways, stealthily take them out to thin their ranks, or go loud taking them out until Sora can get a clean shot at the portal."

"Stealth is a good strategic method," Captain Atom added his two cents.

"Slight problem with that," Sora spoke up getting everyone's attention, "While my Keyblade is the only thing that can truly destroy them, it's also how they can track me. The moment I summon my Keyblade, they'll know we're here..."

"You couldn't have mentioned that earlier," The nuclear-powered hero raised an eyebrow.

"Well, to be fair, no one ever gave the option of stealth before, my friends and I always just rushed in," Sora defended himself, "Also, no one asked earlier..."

"It's alright, Sora," Diana reassured the teenager, placing a hand on his shoulder, "We'll manage. Besides, destroying them will free the hearts they've consumed, correct?"

"Yes, as long as we destroy their Nobodies as well, people eventually be restored to the place they were turned." The teenage boy confirmed with a nod.

"Good," Diana nodded as she drew out her sword, "Since stealth won't be an option, our only chance is to strike quickly and take as many of them as possible. Sora, once you have a clean shot of the portal, use the Keyblade to free the innocents inside. Hopefully, they know how to hold their own in a fight."

Sora gave a thumbs up in response as Captain Atom nodded to Wonder Woman, "Affirmative."

"Okay," Nightwing smiled as he pulled out his Escrima Sticks, "Let's go kick some alien monster hybrids butts and save some fictional characters from our childhood."

Hawkgirl charged her mace as she looked down at her opponents, as Diana told the group, "On my mark..." Everyone nodded as they all turned to the edge of the building as she declared to all, "Attack!"

With a battle cry, she lead the charge off the roof as Sora summoned his Keyblade in his hand as he and the others followed. Upon, reaching the ground, the Amazon Princess sliced a Heartless in two before deflecting ice and fire attacks with her gantlets.

Simba roared as he pounced on an Blue Rhapsody Heartless as he consumed it with fire. Sora cut down a Crimson Jazz Heartless before doing a dodge roll to avoid a NeoShadow strike as it was taken out by Hawkgirl. Sora then cut down a few Shadow and Solider Heartless as Captain Atom blasted an Air Solider out of the sky before taking down more with his fists.

Nightwing joined Sora on the ground assault, smacking any Hearless in sight with his sticks and avoiding their attacks with his acrobatic abilities. As they fought the Heartless they could overhear Batman commanding the Heartless, "All units in the area! The anomaly known as Sora has returned with Wonder Woman! They've allied themselves with Captain Atom, Hawkgirl, and Nightwing! Do not underestimate any of them. Capturing Wonder Woman, Atom, and Nightwing could be beneficial for integration. Hawkgirl can be brought in dead or alive."

"You know, I'm kinda offended Batman doesn't think I'm worth brainwashing," Hawkgirl half-joked as she bashed another Heartless.

"And I'm not surprised Bruce is trying to find a way for make me follow his orders again," Nightwing smirked as he did a triple back flip avoiding lightning strikes before grappling on to a Yellow Opera Heartless before pulling it towards him before kicking it.

Sora cut down another Solider Heartless freeing its captive heart before noticing the portal was now unguarded, "Guys! I think I can get to the portal!"

"Then go!" Diana told him as she punched away a Large Body and cut down a Neo Shadow, "Simba! Atom! Cover him!"

"We have your back, Sora," The lion told him as he swiped away a Heartless with his claws.

"We've got you covered, kid," Captain Atom nodded as has blasted another way of Heartless, "Move."

Sora nodded as he headed towards the portal, and like the ones before he aimed his Keyblade at it. Light swirled around the tip of the blade as beam shot out and struck the portal. As it opened, Sora wondered which friend he brought to this world now?

However, the figure that came out was not one he knew. In fact, looked way younger than even Boo. A tiny child within with a three fingered, green hands and big eyes and observed the new world around him. Sora blinked, "Wait... is that... a baby?"

"Baby?" Simba and Atom repeated dumbfounded.

Diana's eyes widened as she turned to see the alien baby, "Oh no..." She commanded, "Someone get that baby and get him to the Hall...!"

"Wait... I know that baby..." Nightwing recalled from a certain Disney Plus show, "That's..."

Before he could finish, a shadow leaped at the youngling as it was about to strike an apparent easy target. Sora rushed in to intercept before another figure shot the attacking shadow. Everyone turned to the portal as the second figure stepped out. This was armored head to toe and armed to the teeth. His helmet had a 'T' like shape as looked around the area for anyone else that threatened the child. Nightwing blinked in awe, "...and there's the Mandalorian."

As more Heartless appeared, the Mandalorian rushed over to the child, "Get down, kid!"

He aimed his gun and shot down three more Heartless. A laser from a Parasol Beauty. Heartless bounced off his armor, but got his attention, nonetheless. Clutching his fist, tiny projecting struck many Heartless like homing missiles. A Heartless was almost about to strike him in his blind spot but Sora quickly cut it down.

He noticed this action, and teenager's weapon before nodding to the Keyblade's chosen in appreciation. With that, everyone refocused on the battle as they finished off the remaining Heartless, they could hear Batman comment, "So that's how he's doing it... All available units... guard the cracks left behind Brainiac's energy... use transportation to a minimum. We can't allow the resistance believe they can stop the transformation of New Colu."

Sora combined the green flames and his own fire magic to wipe out the remaining group of Heartless. As everyone stood on guard, Diana told everyone, "We're all clear..."

Everyone turned to the new comer, who turned to the teenager, "You're a Keyblade Wielder."

"You know the boy's weapon too?" Captain Atom glanced to the Mandalorian.

"Yes, their stories are legends that are told when I was a foundling," The protector of the baby before back to Sora, "A few of our ancestors were proud to be among your ranks."

"Really?" Sora blinked in awe.

"That's quite a family legacy," Wonder Woman admitted as she observed his armor.

"It's no mystery of what you are," Nightwing approached the armored warrior, "You're a Mandalorian."

"I am," He nodded before glancing around the city around them.

"What brought you here of all places?" Hawkgirl wondered.

The Mandalorian gestured to the child beside him, "I've been quested to bring this one back with his own kind. I was told by other Mandalorians that one known as Ashoka Tano could be founded on the city of Calodan on the forest planet of Corvus. I was going to take my ship for repairs when I was quested to find out what was causing the tears all over the Galaxy by a trusted friend." He sighed as he glanced to the child, "This one got a little too curious and took a closer look pulling us in there." He then glanced to Sora, "Guess I have you to thank for getting us out."

Sora smiled and nodded as Captain Atom stepped up, "We're working on the same problem. The cause of it is currently invading our world..."

"Who? The Imperial Warlords?" The Mandalorian wondered.

"Imperial Warlords?" Sora whispered in confusion.

"It's Brainiac," Diana answered.

"What kind of name is Brainiac?" The armored warrior wondered.

"The guy currently flying the giant evil skull ship," Nightwing answered as he gestured to the ship in the distance.

The Mandalorian glanced in the direction the former Robin pointed. No one could tell what his reaction was under his helmet, but the sight terrified the child as he hid behind his protector's leg. After a full minute, he stated, "Okay... that's new..."

"He came under the guise that he wanted to talk to us peacefully, and now he has control over our greatest heroes and is turning civilians into those monsters you helped us fight," Atom explained to the Mandalorian.

He turned to the silver hero, "...and you didn't see him betraying you?"

"I was outvoted," Diana sighed, "Still our world is in peril and is dragging those from other worlds into this conflict. Sora has agreed to help us as he had experience with the monsters Brainiac is using." She gestured to the Keyblade Wielder, "We could use yours as well but I understand if you're busy with your child..."

"You have it." He replied without a delay in response, "While the Keybladers vanished, we believed that they were still out there. Should one of my people come upon one in time of need, by Creed, we are honor-bonded to help the Weilder as they came to our need in the past."

"Really?" Hawkgirl blinked in shock.

The Mandalorian turned to her and simply stated, "This is the Way."

"Alright then," Nightwing stated, "We'll get you connected to our coms. so we can stay in touch." He approached him as he established communications, "Okay, here's our secure channel, can you connect to it?"

"Shouldn't be a problem," The Mandalorian scanned the channel as he started tapping on his armor, "Alright... that should do it..."

Seeing they were connected, Nightwing nodded, "You're in. Welcome to the resistance. I'm Nightwing." He then gestured to the others, "These are Captain Atom, Wonder Woman, King Simba, Hawkgirl, and Sora."

Each hero nodded when their name was mentioned. After a moment, the Mandalorian nodded, "So, how are we going to get to this Brainiac..." He turned to the Skull Ship, "...if the shields were down, I might be able to shoot it down with the Razor Crest if that ship has a weakness."

"Right now, the goal is to gain more allies and help Sora restore his strength," Wonder Woman answered, "To do so, we're getting information of energy Brainiac is using. The one you were trapped in was our first stop."

"Restore his strength?" The Mandalorian glanced to the Amazon, "What do you mean?"

"Long story short, since coming here, I lost most my powers," Sora quickly explained, "And if we're going to get stop Brainiac and free the Justice League from his control, I need to get my powers back."

After a moment, he nodded, "Alright then... can't say I fully understand the situation, but let's get to work..."

"Hey, guys, I see you have a new member to our resistance," Mr. Terrific stated to everyone, "I'm picking up another tear not far from you. Remember, scan it first, then unlock whatever's inside of it."

"Got it," Sora nodded as his visors showed him the new location.

Nightwing pulled out his grapple, "We better keep moving."

He and Sora then launched themselves to the rooftops as Diana, Atom, and Sheyra lifted off from the ground. As the Mandalorian picked up the child, the Amazon Princess turned to him, "Can you keep up?"

If he was shocked how the others could fly, his helmet showed no expression, as his jet pack activated lifting off from the ground. Diana nodded, "Guess that answers that question."

With that, they flew off, as Simba followed from the ground below. As they headed towards the next location, the Mandalorian glanced to Captain Atom. The silver hero glanced to him, "Is there a problem?"

"You're generating a lot of heat," He answered as he continued to stare, "A very lethal amount of heat."

"With a name like Captain Atom, what do you think?" The former soldier asked.

"So, that's a containment suit then," The Mandalorian assumed.

"Uh-huh. I'm not flesh and blood anymore; just living energy." Captain Atom revealed, "But you don't need to worry. This suit won't tear easily. I'm fit for duty and given what we're up against... you'll need me."

"Just do me a favor, and make sure you don't blow up the city while it's still populated." The armored warrior replied.

As they reached closer to the tear, Sora couldn't help hear the conversation between Atom and their new friend. Heat? Living energy? Blow up? What were they talking about?

Soon enough, they found the breach, and like before it was guarded by the Heartless. Mando then noticed something, "That one looks different than the one the kid and I went through."

"He's right," Sora's eyes widened in recognition, he then stared at his hands as he let out some of the green flames, "It's like the one I saw in the Hall of Justice."

Like the Hall, this one was blue, unlike the others that Baymax, Simba, Timon, Pumbaa and now, Mando and the Child came from which were purple. The last time he unlocked it, he gained new powers. Would it happen again if he tried it here?

"So, if you access it, you might get new powers from it," Hawkgirl had the same thoughts.

"I mean... that's what happened last time," Sora full-heartedly admitted as he did a scan off the tear with his visors.

"Alright, the plan is the same as the last time, we take out the Heartless until Sora has an opening," Diana told the group before turning to Sora, "When you have an opening, unlock it, we'll provide cover."

"Got it," Sora nodded as Mando drew out his blaster.

"Hey, guys," Simba whispered in the coms., "I'm noticing many of this Heartless, are all ice based."

"Good to know," Sora smiled as he turned to the rest of the group, "Okay, they should be vulnerable to fire. Anyone got anything that can burn them?"

In response, Mando closed his fist as a small flames, came out of his wrist, "I might have something..."

A few seconds later, the Heartless were caught unaware as the Mandalorian descended upon them as he burned them all with his flame thrower. Any that were missed, where blasted away by Captain Atom or burned away by Simba. The rest of the team finished off, the burning Heartless as Sora burned more of them with his own flames, he noticed the portal was now unprotected. He exclaimed, "I'm going for it!"

"Go for it!" Mando told him as he flew to his side.

"We'll cover you," Diana nodded as she kicked one Heartless before slicing another in two.

Sora nodded as he plunged the Keyblade into the crack which seemed to drain the energy from it, just like in the Hall before. Suddenly, ice started to come from his feet. Sora blinked in disbelief, "Wait... ice...?"

As Wonder Woman plunged her sword into another Heartless, she turned to Sora. Her eyes widened with familiarity, "Fire... and Ice...?"

As Hawkgirl bashed a Winterhorn Heartless with her mace, "What...?"

As Sora noticed he could control ice, Diana shook her head, "No... it's nothing... I'm probably overthinking this..."

Sora having Fire and Ice's powers. That seemed unlikely. Keyblade Wielders could use fire and ice magic all the time according to the legends. The portals probably enhanced what he already had.

As the heroes finished off the remaining Heartless, Sora shrugged, "Well, at least I have ice powers again. It'll be really handy against fire type Heartless."

"Good to know," Nightwing nodded as he his reached for his coms., "Yo, Terrific? You got that data?"

"Yes, but I'm going to need one more, there's another close by actually," He revealed, "Like in the same area..."

"That explains the Heartless being so close to a portal that didn't have anyone in it," Atom stated, "They were more interested in the one with the one with hearts in it."

"Find it, scan it, and get whoever inside of it out," Mr. Terrific told the group, "After that, I should have enough data, and you can go after the Penguin."

"Penguin?" Mando wondered.

"Alright, we'll get you that data soon," Sora nodded before turning to the others, "So how do we find it?"

"Oh, didn't Barbra tell you," Nightwing rubbed the back of his head, "When adding the ability to scan for portals, we also added Detective Vision to your visors as well."

"Really?!" Sora beamed. He recalled that's helped Batman find clues.

"Yeah, just press the L1 button," The former Robin instructed, "You'll never miss a clue or in this case portal in Metropolis."

"Couldn't you find it too?" Hawkgirl asked the former protégé of Batman.

"Yes, but since we'll be switching out members, it might be a good idea that he learns how to do it himself," Nightwing stated as Sora activated his detective vision.

He stared in awe at all he saw. He saw this new found vision pick up on things his regular eyes couldn't. He could see Heartless and Nobodies in the distance. If it could pick up all of that, than surely it could find the portal.

Sure enough, he saw it hiding, as he pointed to the area, "There! Behind those crates!"

As he turned off his Detective Vision, Wonder Woman approached the crate and moved it aside to reveal the purple portal. She nodded, "Good work, Sora."

The Child slowly approached the portal with curiosity as the Mandalorian picked him up, "Hold it. Not losing you again."

After doing a quick scan of it, Sora resummoned his Keyblade as he wondered if it'd be someone he knew or someone he never met like Mando... either way, it'd probably be a friend either way. He aimed his Keyblade at the portal and like before, light swirled around the tip of the blade and shot a beam that struck the portal. A figure stepped out of it as the newcomer drunkenly walked out and looked around the area around him, "Well, either I'm drunker than I thought, or I'm no longer in the Caribbean."

"No way!" Sora beamed at the sight of the pirate, "Jack Sparrow!"

"Ah! Sora!" The captain of the Black Pearl greeted the Keyblade Wielder, "So, this is where you vanish off to when you're not in my neck of the woods." He then quickly corrected, "And it's Captain Jack Sparrow."

"Man... he looks just like Johnny Deep..." Nightwing muttered to himself.

Diana blinked in disbelief. Sora was friends with a pirate? Captain Sparrow approached the teenager, "No Donald and Goofy, eh? Did they start a mutiny?" He then gave him a sympathetic pat to the teen, "No worries, lad. It's happened to the best of us pirates."

"What? Oh, no. There was no mutiny," Sora shook his head, "It's... kinda a long story but... I sort of got separated from them and..."

"Ah, say no more, it's a part of the code," Jack nodded in understanding.

"What code?" Mando asked openly.

"The Pirate's Code, my strangely armored acquaintance. If a pirate falls behind, they're left behind," Jack explained.

Nightwing recalled said code, from the films he's seen, "Of course."

Jack then observed the others with Sora, as he lightly stroked his braided beard, "I see you gathered a new crew..." He observed Nightwing, Atom, and the Mandalorian, "Oddly dressed..." He then turned to Hawkgirl and Wonder Woman, causing him to smirk lustfully, "Not that, I disapprove."

Realizing where he was staring at, the former proceeded to slap the pirate Captain as he muttered, "Not sure I deserved that."

Sora rolled his eyes in response, as Captain Atom rubbed his eyes in annoyance, "Of course, we had to get an outlaw of these portals."

Diana sighed as she glanced at the Keyblade Wielder, "Sora... could I have a word with you?"

"Sure thing," Sora nodded before turning to Jack, "I'll give you the situation in a moment."

"Fair enough," The Captain of the Black Peril nodded as Sora went over to talk to the Amazon Princess. Jack then turned to Simba as he asked him, "Don't I usually see you bursting into flames."

"That's because I was only visiting," The King of Pride Rock answered, "I'm actually here now. Came in the same way you did."

"But you still can burst into flames, can you," Jack presumed. Simba sighed as he proceeded to explain...

"What exactly is your history between you and that pirate?" Diana asked the Keyblade Wielder.

"Long story short, I've visited Jack's... well, Captain Jack's world from time to time. We've fought together against the Heartless and Nobodies," Sora answered, "He's a friend."

"So... he's not a thieving scheming scaly wage pirate where he's from?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, no! He's definitely all of that!" Sora admitted before adding, "But he's also a good man. He had his issues with the law on his world, I won't deny that. However, when it truly counts, he'll do what's right and always be there when you need him. He's not only the best pirate, but one of the most honorable I've ever met."

She still seemed uncertain about trusting a pirate as Jack stared at the Child's curious look. Sora then added, "Consider what we're up against and who we need to recruit... we'll need him. And I feel a lot more comfortable with trusting Jack than this Penguin guy."

"I suppose you have a point," Diana admitted, "Still, he'll have to earn my trust..."

"That's fair, he is a pirate after all," The teenager nodded in agreement.

"And he's also dealt with the Heartless before?" She recalled Sora mentioning.

"As well of those who've used them in the past, some of which were my own enemies," The teen admitted.

"Then he can stay," She decided, "Although if he acts that way with women..."

"Give him a good slap. That usually does the trick," Sora half-joked with a chuckle, "That usually does the trick."

Diana let out a chuckle herself, "Good to know."

As they rejoined the group, Sora added, "And for the record, the rest of my friends from the other worlds aren't as shady as Jack."

"I can work with that," She smiled as they rejoined the group.

After staring at the alien child for a moment, Jack asked the Mando, "So... that thing supposed to be a fifty-year-old baby?"

"From what I gathered," Mando didn't let the pirate out of his sight, "His kind ages differently than others."

"Huh?" Jack stared at the green child, "I've seen stranger. Definitely better company than the monkey." He then turned to Sora, "So, my spiky hair friend, you mind telling me what's been going on with these strange portal things."

"Well... first thing you should know is that..." Sora hesitated to explain the other worlds, he turned to Diana, who gave an encouraging nod, "We're no longer on your world... there are actually other worlds outside your own."

After staring at Sora for a long moment, he muttered, "Interesting..."

"Wait, that's it?" The Keyblade Wielder blinked for a moment at Jack's reaction, "You just learned that there are other worlds outside your own and that's your reaction?"

"Mate, I'd like to point out that you and your old crew spilled the beans on that long ago," Captain Jack Sparrow pointed out.

"Huh?!"

"Let me clarify, remember the second time I was cursed by the Aztec Treasure? The one done by the Heartless?" Jack reminded him confusing those who thought they knew the story, "You and your mates were unaffected by the curse, and when you figured out why... none of you were exactly quiet about it."

Sora then recalled that night. The Organization member known as Luxord had stolen the Aztec Treasure bringing the return of the curse. There was a Heartless empowered by the cursed treasure, which struck the four of them. However, only Jack was affected. Donald originally thought it was because they weren't greedy, but that didn't really fit the King's magician character. They did manage to put together that the treasure didn't work on them because they were from another world...

...and they weren't whispering about it and Jack was in the same wreckage when they were talking. Sora winced, "Oh... yeah... oops..."

At least the blame wasn't entirely on him that time...

"You seem to take the fact your world isn't the only world out there pretty well," Captain Atom raised an eyebrow.

"Mate, I live in a world with my old crew was cursed to be skeletons under the moonlight until the blood debit, a giant sea monster, and people who had made a deal with the Jones, who I might add was married to a goddess of the sea, and got turned into fish people," The Captain of the Black Pearl turned to the nuclear power hero, "Other worlds isn't that far fetched as it seems, savvy?"

"You know, he's not wrong," Nightwing admitted.

"Now, I'm sure you had your reasons for keeping this fact all hush-like," Jack turned back to Sora, "That still doesn't explain why I'm here."

"Well, this bad guy... Brainiac... lost his world and he's been using the Heartless and Nobodies to try to transform this world into his," Sora explained, "He's been using this strange energy that been dragging other people from their worlds... including you..."

"...but we can't get all the way through, could we?" Jack assumed, "Not without that key of yours?"

"Yep," Sora nodded, "We could honestly use your help while you're here..." He pointed out, "Eventually, we'll need to break into Braniac's ship to stop him and well... you're the best pirate I know..."

Jack nodded, "Yes, I won't deny I'm an expert on commandeering ships..."

"Lucky us," Diana rolled her eyes.

"And pray tell, where is this Brainiac's ship anyway?" Jack Sparrow wondered.

"It's the literal giant skull trying to Terraform the Earth," Hawkgirl gestured to the alien ship as the pirate turned to face the alien invader's ship.

Jack's eyes widened in shock and horror at the sight. He then turned to Sora, "There's no way of going home until we get this matter sorted..."

"Probably not, no," The teen shook his head.

"Oh, bugger," Jack frowned before thinking to himself of what to do, "Quite a pickle you put me in. On the one hand, fighting an alien invasion isn't something I would be eager to do..." He then smirked, "On the other hand, I like the sound of Captain Jack Sparrow: the pirate who commandeered an alien ship to save the world. All the other pirates can eat their hearts out at that."

He turned to the teenager, "Very well, I suppose I owe you countless occasions anyways..." He then raised his finger, "But if we're going to pull this off... we're going to need a bigger crew. Made up of people with powers and skills like yourself, savvy?"

"As of right now, that's the plan," Sora smiled as Nightwing handed him a com. piece.

"What's this? Some sort of fancy future earring?" Jack observed the device with curiosity.

"Just put it in your ear, and we can all stay in contact that way," Nightwing told him as Sora showed where he put in his own.

Jack shrugged as he placed the device in his ear as Mr. Terrific finally spoke up, "And that should be all the data I need. I'll let you know what I find out when you guys get back." Jack took a step back as he looked around for the source of the new voice. As the world's third smartest man asked, "So, who'd we get?"

"We got the Mandalorian and Gorgu from Star Wars," Nightwing answered getting the Child's attention, "And Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise."

"Star Wars?" The Mandalorian repeated before glancing to the baby, "Gorgu?"

The baby then turned to him. Sora didn't need to be a genius to know that Mando didn't know the Child's name until now. He should probably explain that part to them back when they were in the Hall. Jack quickly added, "There should be a Captain in there somewhere."

"Well, beggars can't be choosers," Lois's voice spoke up, "Anyways, since Mr. Terrific has enough data to examine energy creating these portals, you're clear to go after the Penguin."

"Penguin? What penguin?" Jack asked in confusion.

"Don't worry, we'll have Oz back at the Hall in by lunch," Nightwing joked.

"Remember, we need him to work with us," Lois reminded the group, "You need to convince him that we're all at the same side."

"Oh, he'll hate that," The former Robin admitted.

"Don't worry, Commander," Sora spoke up, "We'll figure out something."

As the call ended, Atom asked him, "You've got any ideas?"

"Actually, Jack... er Captain Jack..." Sora quickly corrected himself as he gestured to the pirate, "He actually might be a big help in getting the Penguin to work for us."

"Sora, my last name may be Sparrow," The pirate started to point out, "But I don't know the first thing about penguins."

"Captain, the Penguin is an illegal weapons dealer," Sora clarified.

"Ah, another outlaw," Jack realized before understanding, "...let me guess we need to bring him to the fold to acquire his weapons."

"Pretty much," Sora nodded.

"Hunting wanted men is a profession of mine," Mando stated, "I'll help you bring him in... question is, do we bring him in warm..." He then lightly patted his blaster, "...or do we bring him in cold?"

"Uh... warm...?" Sora shrugged as he turned to the others who nodded in agreement.

"We need Penguin to work with us willingly if we're going to survive this," Hawkgirl stated as the Mandalorian nodded in confirmation.

"Well, hiring men with questionable backgrounds is a profession of mine," Jack smiled as he patted the Mandalorian's shoulder, "I may have an idea or two to join our crew."

"I still don't like this idea..." Diana stated before admitting, "But if this is what the resistance needs, then that's what we'll do." She then turned to the former Robin, "Nightwing, you're talking point as Lois said. Lead the way."

"Alright, hope he's still not sore about me turning the lights off in the elevator when he tried to break out of the GCPD." Nightwing smirked as he fired a grapple to the rooftops.

Sora used his keychain to follow as the other heroes took off leaving Jack and Simba on the ground. The former turned to the king, "What are the chances of you giving me a ride, mate?"

Simba sighed as he shook his head...

"I have a question," Sora asked the other heroes on the rooftops, "If this Penguin's a criminal, how'd he get out of prison."

"Unfortunately, he had enough money to pay for his freedom after Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight's takeover of Gotham City," Nightwing explained as he ran on the rooftops, "Even after Batman and I destroyed all of the weapon caches and stopped him from escaping custody... money talks."

"He recently moved to Metropolis to sell high-tech weapons to Intergang," Diana added as she flew above them, "Batman was tracking him down when Brainiac invaded, fortunately for us, Mr. Terrific also had his eye on him."

"He said he has a man on the inside," Atom recalled, "You sure we can trust this inside source? Or that the information is up to date?"

"You know I can still hear you, right?" Mr. Terrific joked in the coms. Atom rolled his eyes as Nightwing and Sora snickered as he continued, "I just spoke with him not that long ago, Penguin's still in the city but he's trying to find a way back to Gotham. You need to incept him before he escapes or Batman finds him."

"Understood," Atom nodded.

"I hope recruiting that pirate friend of yours is worth it," Hawkgirl glanced to Sora.

"Don't worry, Jack always has a plan," The Keyblade Wielder tried to reassure the group.

"That's what I'm concerned..." Diana muttered to herself as she spotted Captain Jack Sparrow riding Simba like a horse.

Said pirate was laughing like a maniac, as Simba complained, "Are we almost there? I'm fine with Sora riding on me but this guy keeps pulling on my mane."

"Pardon me for not wanting to fall off," The Captain of the Black Pearl spoke up in his defense.

"We're getting close," Nightwing reassured the lion, "Just a few miles closer!"

"I also have a question," Mando spoke up getting everyone's attention, "How'd you know the kid's name is Grogu? I didn't even know his name."

"Yes, and I'd like to know how I'm known on another planet, as flattering it may be," Jack Sparrow added in his own question.

"Oh... right... forgot to mention that..." Sora stopped to face palm himself.

"This is going to happen a lot, isn't it?" Atom assumed as they gained closer to the Penguin's hideout.

"We should probably figure something out so we don't have to explain this every time," Diana suggested before asking in the coms., "Oracle?"

"Once I'm done gathering the rest of the data from Sora's phone, I'll work on that," Barbra spoke up, "Just give them the short version for now."

"Right, Mando, Jack, Grogu..." Nightwing began as he started getting their attention, "On our planet... you and many of Sora's other friends along with the people you know... we believed to be fictional characters..."

"Fictional?" Both Mando and Jack repeated in confusion.

The former then asked, "So, you believe we were just characters in stories here?"

"It's true," Simba spoke up, "They had this thing that shows us our lives for entertainment."

"Really, now..." Jack pondered out loud, "Nice to know that I'm infamously famous on two worlds. Should be easier smoothing in this Penguin to our side."

"And how exactly do you plan to do that?" Diana glanced at the once-believed to be a fictional pirate.

"My good woman," Jack simply smirked at Wonder Woman from below, "I'm Captain Jack Sparrow, savvy?"

After a brief moment of silence, Hawkgirl replied sarcastically, "Well, I'm convinced."

Soon enough, they arrived at a building called North Refrigeration. The group gathered around the entrance, as Nightwing smirked, "Ah, good old Oz... decided to do his business in the same building we busted him in Gotham..."

"So, he's really in there?" Sora asked the former protégé.

"According to Mr. Terrific's man on this inside," Diana glanced to Sora.

"Only one way to know for sure," Nightwing smirked remained as he knocked on the door.

A groan could be heard, as he complained, "Oh, this better be good... I sent you boys out to scout for a way out hours ago..." The window slide opened up to reveal a deformed man with a monocle, "...so you better have good news for me or I'll-"

He then paused when he realized that these weren't his men. In fact, from their outfits, armor, and uniforms, he recognized most of the people within the group. His eyes narrowed in anger at a particular member of the group, "No... no! NO!"

"Hey! Oz!" Nightwing happily greeted him, "It's nice to see you too!"

"NO! NO! NO! NO!" Penguin continued to complain, "I moved to Metropolis to get away from you lot! First Wayne moves here and now you! DON'T YOU'VE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO THAN MESSING WITH ME, PRETTY BOY?!" He gestured behind him, "THERE'S A BLOODY ALIEN INVASION AND YOU AND YOUR FELLOW DO-GOODERS CHOOSE TO COME AFTER ME?!"

"Aw, I missed you, Oz," The former Robin smiled, "Now why don't you let us in so we can have a nice chat."

"Oh, no!" Penguin shook his head, "I've got better things to do than screwing around with you! You want to screw someone! I heard the Bat and the rest of the League are playing team alien! Go screw with them! And do me a favor and die stopping 'em!"

He then slammed the window shut, as Sora sarcastically stated, "Gee... nice guy..." He turned to the others, "You sure there isn't anyone else we could go to?"

"Believe me, if there was," Diana spoke up, "We'd be going to them instead." She marched up to the door, "Well, we might as well knock the door down."

Jack then stepped in front of her, "Might want to hold off on that," He drew out his pistol, "We've got company."

He then took aim behind the Amazon and shot down a Nobody behind her. She turned around to see more Hybrid Nobodies appearing around them. Sora's eyes narrowed, "Nobodies!"

She glanced back to Jack, and while her eyes narrowed, she gave him a brief nod in appreciation as she commanded, "Everyone! Defensive positions!"

Mando drew out his blaster as the pirate used his free hand to draw out his sword. The other heroes went into their respective battle stances as they prepared to fight the enemy. As they charged in, they could hear Batman in their ear, "All units! The resistance is getting desperate, going to Penguin of all people for aid... capture the priority targets... along with the Child accompanied with the Mandalorian... Brainiac wishes to study him..."

While facial expressions, couldn't be seen behind his helmet, everyone knew Mando didn't take that information well as he proceeded to burn any Nobody coming at him. The Dark Knight continued, "Dispose of the others... especially the pirate..."

"Really, hope he meant someone else," Captain Jack Sparrow stated as he cut down a Reaper Nobody before turning to a Gambler. He then called out, "Sora! Those Organization folk! There not involved in all of this are they?!"

"Not this time, Jack," Sora replied as he deflected a laser back at a Sniper, "After we left your world, my friends and I took the Organization down for good!"

"Good! 'Cause if they showed their faces hooded faces again, I would lose it," The pirate captain declared as he threw an explosive at a group of enemies.

As the heroes fought the Nobodies, Nightwing was the middle of a fight between a group of Ninja Nobodies, who seemed to be unphased by his Escrima Sticks. When he saw they were charging up, he called out, "Sora! I'm just making these guys stronger! Any suggestions?"

Combining his ice magic with his new founded ice powers that froze a street full of Nobodies, he called out, "Those Ninjas are particularly vulnerable to water!"

"Alright then," Nightwing smirked as he leaped over the Nobodies, spotted a fire hydrant, and pulled out his grapple, "Drinks are on me!"

Firing the grapple, the pulled the nozzle cap off, drowsing the enemies with water causing them to shock themselves before fading away. There were some Berskers among there numbers but between Wonder Woman, Captain Atom, Hawkgirl, Simba, and Sora: they were quickly dealt with.

With only one Bersker Nobody remaining, Diana and Sora leaped in the air before simultaneously striking the enemy with their blades. The remaining enemy dropped its weapon and collapsed on the ground before fading away. Sora's Keyblade vanished as Diana sheathed her sword as the latter stated, "With that matter handled, let's bring in Cobblepot."

Sora nodded as the heroes regrouped by the entrance of North Refrigeration. Simba then asked aloud, "So, how do we get inside?"

Mando then scanned the door as he stated, "Hmmm... it doesn't look to be that strong. Maybe a controlled explosive could do the trick or we can try to be more precise and I burn off the hinges..."

"Or we could use my Keyblade to unlock the door..." Sora pointed out.

"That won't be necessary," Diana glanced to the two with a smile, "I'll get the door..."

"What did you have in mind?" Mando glanced to the Amazon.

She simply placed a hand on the door, and gave it a light push, before it broke off the hinges and collapsed on the ground to reveal Penguin, his goons, and his stash of weapons. Mando and Jack stared at the Amazon in disbelief, as Sora lightly chuckled, "Oh, yeah... I forgot you had super strength..."

Diana simply smiled as Nightwing smirked to Penguin, "Alright, Oz... let's talk..."

Oswald merely glared in response as he turned to his hechmen, "Get 'em, boys."

The goons nervously glanced to heroes as Nightwing smiled, "I'd think carefully about what you do next... I mean... if it was just me... You'd fail miserably but I'm with Wonder Woman, Captain Atom, Hawkgirl, teenager with a ancient weapon of legend, a real Mandalorian, a real lion, and one of the greatest pirates to ever sail the seven seas... How do you think your odds are against all of us..."

"Uh... boss... I think we're screwed..." One of them stated.

"Yeah... I don't see us winning against 'em," Another nodded in agreement as all the goons quickly surrendered.

"Of for crying out loud..." Penguin shook his head in annoyance, "Why don't you boys grow a bloody spine?!"

He then came to the end of Jack's pistol, as his eyes widened. The pirate smirked, "If I were you, I'd say a certain word about now."

"Wait, aren't you that famous actor, Johnny Deep?" Penguin stated in disbelief.

"Who now?" The Captain of the Black Pearl blinked before shaking his head, "Never mind. None of those words are the one you should be using... I was referring to the French one."

"Uh..." The crime lord's mind blanked for a second before guessing, "You want me to say... Parley?"

"That's the one!" Jack happy smiled as he put away his pistol, "...and as Pirate Code states: Under the protection of parley, no one is to be harmed until negotiations are complete."

"The one time I actually like that word," Sora sighed in relief. Everyone gave him a glance as he stated, "It's a long story..."

While the those who've seen the movies had an idea what Sora had been through, the others were simply were confused what he was talking about. Still, they had other matters to deal with, so Nightwing approached the criminal, "Relax Oz... we're just here to talk..."

"Oh, is that right," Oswald replied with skepticism in his voice, "How'd you find me anyway?"

"Oh, a little bird told us," He smirked.

"Son of a-" Penguin almost cursed before demanding, "Which one of my boys sang this time?! Was it old 'Loose Lips'?! He's never been the same since the Bat dropped him from the roof!"

"Oh, no! It was me!" A new voice spoke up.

"Eh!" Everyone was put on alert, as Penguin demanded, "Who said that?!"

"Wasn't us, boss!" One of his thugs replied as the other goons nodded in agreement.

"You can come out now, Plas!" Nightwing called out looking at a red desk chair, "I knew you're Mr. Terrific's informant!"

Just then much to Sora and the other visitors from others leap back in shock as the red chair spun around to reveal a face, "Aw! Seriously! I spend in here for weeks waiting to make my big reveal to the big bad! I swear sometimes you can be as bad as Bats."

The chair then turned into a man in red tight shirt and shots with goggles as he smirked in the group, "Sup!"

Jack stared at the Mandalorian, "You saw the talking chair transform into a man right?"

"Yup," Mando nodded in confirmation.

"Good, I was worried it was just me," The pirate captain replied.

"Plastic Man," Diana's eyes widened in recognition, "So, you were Mr. Terrific's mole!"

"Yup, I was going to relay where he was hiding to Terrific and Batman but then Brainiac happened and..." He started before realizing, "...well, you know what happened. You were there. Sorry about that by the way."

"Damn heroes..." Penguin muttered to himself, "You just can't trust anything these days..."

"So~ who's the new guy?" Plastic Man stretched his head towards Sora causing him to leap back in reaction before turning to Mando and Jack, "And was Disney shooting a new Pirates and Star Wars movies when the invasion started?"

"It's... a bit more complicated than that," Nightwing rubbed the back of his head, "Long story short, they're here to help too."

"And we're very much real," Simba declared much to both Plastic Man's and the criminals' shock, "In case, you were wondering..."

"You are?!" The new hero blinked under his goggles, before stating, "And here I was thinking Disney had talented artists and actors to make their beloved films all this time... I wonder if it's the same for the remake?"

"It's okay, Plastic Man's an old friend of the League," Diana reassured Sora as she placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, "We'll give you a proper introduction later."

Sora turned to her and nodded before everyone turned their attention back to Penguin. He glared at the heroes, "You lot seriously have nothing better to do when the League's turning everyone into monsters?!"

"We didn't come to through you back to Blackgate or Stryker's, Penguin," Captain Atom approached the deformed man, "We came to recruit you."

"Say WHAT?!" Penguin's jaw dropped in disbelief.

"You heard him," Hawkgril's eyes narrowed.

"And for the record, I don't like this any more than you," Diana added her two cents.

Staring at the whole group of heroes, as if they lost their heads, he asked, "Why do you need me?"

"The resistance needs your supply of weapons to combat Brainiac's forces," Nightwing smirked, "The kind you were planning on selling to Intergang."

"Ah, I see," Penguin nodded, seeing their point, before crossing his arms, "Now to the bigger question..." He gave the group a cocky smirk, "Why should I work for you?" He gestured to the room around them, "Sure, you can take the small supply of cache of weapons I have here, but I'm the only one who knows the rest of the locations and transport them throughout the city. This means you need my full cooperation, but I ain't so liking the idea of going on a suicide mission with you lot. What's to stop me from leaving this city with the weapons I do own leaving you high and dry?"

"Because it's wrong and somewhere in what little goodness of your heart, you going to do the right thing and help us save the Earth," Diana's eyes narrowed.

"HA!" Penguin laughed, "I needed a good laugh!"

"I could ask nicely where the caches are," Nightwing smirked as he twirled one of his Escrima Sticks before gesturing to Wonder Woman, "Or Diana could always use the Lasso on you."

Diana smirked as she reached for her Lasso of Truth, when Jack stepped ahead of the group, "That won't be necessary, my friends." He then gestured to the crime lord, "If Mr. Cobblepot doesn't wish to join our crusade, then it's best we don't force him."

"See? He gets it," Pengiun gestured to the protagonist of the Pirates of the Caribbean series.

"What are you up to?" Atom's eyes narrowed at Jack.

The pirate captain whispered to the group with a smirk, "Trust me."

"Hey, kid," Mando called out to Grogu, as the Child turned to him, "Never trust a pirate."

Jack then spoke out loud, "Of course, he'd be missing out on big profit from all this madness, but that's his decision." He then gestured to the other heroes, "Come on, let's go!"

He then proceeded to turn to leave as the others turned to Sora, who shrugged in response before following the pirate captain, as the other heroes turned to leave when Penguin called out, "HOLD IT!" Everyone stopped as the crime lord asked, "What profit? How am I supposed to benefit from a losing war?"

Captain Jack Sparrow grinned as he turned back to Penguin, before patting Sora's shoulder, "You see this young lad here? Young, naive, eager, knows more about the heart than the rest would care to know."

"So? I'm not seeing the point of all of this!" The deformed man raised an eyebrow.

"I'm getting there," Jack reassured him before gesturing to Sora, "Now, he's been fighting the monsters alien boy's been using longer than the rest of us across the whole universe, as one smart of yourself know, a journey like that don't come cheap."

"Are you saying this kid is loaded?" Penguin asked the pirate.

"The question, you should be asking is, how he gets the money," The pirate pointed out as a single shadow Heartless appeared, "Sora, my young friend, would you be so kind as to show Mr. Cobblepot an example?"

Confused, Sora shrugged as he approached the shadow. Quickly disposing it with his Keyblade, yellow orbs fell where the Heartless once stood. Penguin raised an eyebrow, "So, the bastards drop orbs when they kick the bucket! Your point is...?!"

"Now, then Sora, would you kindly hand one of those orbs to our man of business here," Jack gestured to the criminal.

"Oh, now I get it!" Sora realized what the pirate was thinking as he passed one orb to the deformed man.

"I swear, this is a waste of my-" Penguin rolled his eyes in annoyance until he caught said orb which immediately changed into cash. Blinking shock, Penguin observed the now deck of money. He brushed his fingers as he could see images of Benjamin Franklin on each dollar. He checked each one, and they all seemed legitimate. Jack grinned as Penguin turned to the pirate, "Eh... Wait... are you saying... these orbs... they turn into money? Is this some kind of trick?"

"No tricks, mate," Captain Jack Sparrow reassured him, "Those orbs. Munny as my young friend calls them, can turn into the respectable currency of which they live, savvy?"

Penguin turned to Sora, "And... how much of this stuff you make?"

"Uh... let's see..." Sora began to think to himself, "I couldn't think of an exact amount but maybe somewhere in the thousands. Maybe millions."

Everyone, including the heroes, except Jack stared at the Keyblade Wielder in disbelief. Plastic Man littery dropped his jaw to the ground. Penguin quickly snapped out of his as he let out a joyful chuckle, "Well... I may have been a bit hasty in denying such a... generous offer... but we're talking business here! You should have started with that!" Turning to Jack, "I might consider of joining your... alliance. But I want my fair cut."

"But of course," Jack grinned as he gestured to Wonder Woman, "I am certain our superiors can give a more popper contract."

"I will speak with Commander Lane," Diana spoke up, "If you give the resistance the weapons we need to take back our world, then I'm sure we can come to an agreement."

Penguin smirked as his goons were already liking the idea. The pirate approached the deformed man as he offered his hand, "So? Do we have an accord?"

Penguin chuckled as he shook the Jack Sparrow's hand, "We do."

The guards cheered as Nightwing smirked, "We that went better than I thought it would."

"Honestly, I figured the only way he'd work with us if he had an explosive device in his head or something," Captain Atom admitted.

Everyone stared at him, slightly disturbed at the thought, as Plastic Man stated, "That was oddly specific."

Sora reached his communication device, "Lois, we got Penguin on board."

"Excellent work," Lois replied, "I'm having Victor open a Boom-Tube to your location. It should bring everyone back to the Hall without running into any trouble."

"You should see it in a few minutes," Cyborg's voice coms., "Just bringing over some grub for our visitors from Pride Rock."

"Great. I'm starving," Simba beamed in relief.

A few of Penguins thugs took a step away from the lion, as one muttered, "I... hope humans are off the menu."

"Amen to that," Another muttered.

Diana then turned to the pirate as she stated, "I can't believe I'm saying this but... good work, Sparrow."

"Captain Sparrow," He corrected before reassuring her, "Just playing my role in this resistance," He then smirked lustfully, "But if you want to reward me in another matter-"

SLAP!

Diana glared at Jack as she retaliated those greedy thoughts with a slap across his face, as he admitted, "I might have deserved that."

Diana smirked to Sora as he gave her a thumbs up. Just then, Plastic Man then cleared his throat, "Hi, everyone. It's me. Plastic Man again. Listen, there's one more thing you know. While, I was here I noticed a strange weird energy thing just behind that weapon's crate."

Everyone turned to where he was pointing as Atom pushed the crate aside to reveal the portal. Penguin looked dumbfounded, "Wha-?!" He then glared at his henchmen, "Why didn't you boys say there was a creepy energy hidden with this cache?!"

"Well, we figured... that since we were originally getting out of Metropolis anyway..." One spoke on the others' behalf, "...it never seemed necessary to..."

Penguin face palmed himself as Sora smiled as he summoned his Keyblade. Mando turned to Sora, "Think it's going to be someone you know."

"Either way, we can use all the help we can get," The teenager shrugged.

Diana nodded in agreement, "Go for it." All while thinking to herself, "Please don't let it be another pirate. Please don't let it be another criminal."

Sora aimed his Keyblade at the portal as light swirled around the tip before shooting out a beam of light which struck the portal. Just then, several figures walked out. All familiar faces to Sora, "No way..."

"Ugh! Finally!" A youthful girl complained, "We're out of the trap Cid got us into!"

"For the last time!" An older man with blonde hair and a toothpick in his mouth, "That wasn't my fault! I needed a better data from the portal and..."

"GOT US ALL TRAPPED INSIDE GOD KNOWS WHERE!" The girl complained.

"Yuffie, cut Cid some slack," A man with brunette hair and a scar on his face told the girl, "We really did need that data."

"Squall's right, Yuffie," A young woman in a pick dress smiled, "No one could have predicted that we'd be stuck in there."

"That's Leon," The man glanced to the woman.

"Seriously, you're still going by that name," A woman in dark hair and clothes exited the portal, "We took back Radiant Garden quite a bit ago."

"Not everything is made right," Leon declared, "Until everything is put back the way it was, until everyone is back home, I won't go by that name."

"Leon, Areith, Yuffie, Cid, Tifa!" Sora greeted the new group getting their attention, "You're all here!"

Cid turned to Sora before he smirked, "Well, what do ya know?"

"Guess we should have figured if anyone was going to get us out of there, it would have been you," Leon smiled as he walked up to Sora.

"What do you know, guess if we were never stuck in there, we never would have found you," Yuffie smirked.

"You're welcome," Cid smirked with pride.

"So, you're saying it WAS your fault we were trapped in there!" Yuffie pointed an accusing figure at the GummiShip Mechanic.

"Oh, for cryin' out loud!" Cid complained.

"Find me?" Sora tilted his head.

"Riku visited us awhile back, " Areith explained, "He said you disappeared after you found Kairi and brought her back to the islands."

"But I guess your disappearance was great exaggeration," Tifa smiled, "If you were on another world this whole time."

Hawkgirl glanced to Atom, "Do you know them from any of these Disney films?"

"First I'm hearing of 'em," Captain Atom admitted, "Just like with Sora."

"Friends of yours?" Diana smiled at Sora as she approached the group.

"Oh, yeah, they actually helped me get started out on my journey," Sora nodded to her before introducing them, "This is Leon," Leon gave the Amazon a nod, "Arieth," The flower girl smiled brightly, "Tifa," The woman waved, "Cid."

"How ya do'?" The mechanic nodded to the heroes.

"And Yu-"

"Oh, I got this one, Sora," Yuffie interrupted the Keyblade's Chosen One as she bowed to the heroes, "And... action!"

She then threw a smoke bomb, temporarily blinding the group, as Penguin complained, "Oh for Pete's sake's! Not another one!"

Just then, Yuffie's Shuriken flew across the air and into her hand as she stated, "Some know me as the beguiling ninja!" Just then four orbs tossed in the air, "Others as the world's greatest materia hunter!" Catching the orbs she continued, "But! Who am I truly?! Well, excited onlookers, wonder no more!" She then preformed a bunch of acrobatic moves as she introduced herself, "Before you stands the rare blossom, the single white rose of the Radiant Garden Restoration Committee: the one and only Yuffie!"

Leon face palmed himself while the majority of the heroes smiled in amusement. Plastic Man stretched his head over to head of the Restoration Committee, "So~ How often does she do that?"

"All the time," He answered in annoyance.

"Really?" Sora blinked in confusion, "Then how come I never seen you do it when we met."

"I did," She admitted, "You were still unconscious after you kicked Leon's butt."

"Lucky guy," Leon muttered before raising a finger, "And I went easy on him."

Nightwing lightly chuckled, "Not bad..."

"Not bad!?" Yuffie glared the former protégé of Batman, "Listen here, you buff blue butt boy! I happen to be the greatest ninja in all the worlds!"

"Debatable," Nightwing joked.

As Yuffie glare remained on the former Robin, as Sora turned to Diana, "Anyways, they helped me when I was just starting out and they been at war against the Heartland longer than I have."

"Then it's an honor to met you all," Diana smiled at Leon as she offered her hand, "I am Diana, Princess of Themyscira."

"Leon," He nodded shaking her hand, "Any friend of Sora's is a friend of ours."

"Uh, Sora? Isn't Simba supposed to be back on Pride Rock?" Areith asked noticing the lion.

Every Radiant Garden resident turned to see Simba smiling at them, "Hey, guys it's been awhile."

"..." Leon stared at the moment before turning to the pirate, "And I believe this one, Sparrow, if I recall, is supposed to be on the Caribbean."

"Why does everyone seem to forget I'm a Captain," Jack mumbled to himself.

"Sora? Did you forget the whole World Order?" Yuffie pointed an accusing finger at him.

"Wait, it really is a thing?" Nightwing blinked in shock.

"Apparently so," Hawkgirl commented.

"World Order? What the heck is that?" Plastic Man tilted his head in confusion.

"Oh, no, they were like you, trapped inside these portals but I used the Keyblade to free them," Sora quickly explained.

"Wait, your Keyblade worked on them?" Tifa blinked in shock.

"Yeah," Sora nodded before wondering, "Why do you ask?"

"Because these portals have been showing up everywhere according to Riku," Leon explained, "Sucking in people, from many worlds, including Merlin, your friends tried to use their Keyblades to get them out but it didn't work."

"Then why is Sora's any different," The Mandalorian asked, "He's had no problems getting us out."

"Add that to the many other list of Mysteries," Nightwing commented, "Hopefully, the data Sora collected will provide some answers."

"Welp," Yuffie smiled before pulling out her GummiPhone, "Better let the others know that you're okay."

"Uh... Yuffie... there's something you should know..." Sora tried to warn her as she dialed a number.

"One moment, you buster have a lot of friends back home worried sick about you and you didn't bother to call any of-" The ninja pointed an accusing finger when her phone made the same noise as Sora's did when he tried to call his friends earlier, "Huh?" She hung up and tried dialing again, only to get the same results, "That can't be right."

As she more several attempts, Leon managed to put together what happened, "You tried calling us but couldn't reach us, am I right?"

"Yeah, I couldn't get a hold of anyone. Not you guys. Not the King. Not any of the Guardians. Not even Riku or Kairi." Sora frowned as he shook his head.

"That's weird," Cid admitted, "They're supposed to work even if we're on the complete opposite side of the universe."

"That's even weirder than Sora's Keyblade working on these portals to this world," Tifa stated in concern, "But not any of the others to their own worlds."

"That is odd," Atom admitted, "Think Brainiac is blocking anything from getting off our own world."

"Brainiac?" Every Radiant Garden resident repeated.

"I suppose it's possible," Diana admitted, "Having more Keyblade Masters here could certainly put this war in our favor, and I could see him doing anything he could to prevent that but... that would be knowing if Brainiac knew of your kind before hand."

"But none of the other League members under his control mentioned anything about the Keyblade," Sora pointed out.

"Then he probably hasn't figured you or your weapon out yet," Wonder Woman admitted, "Still, he might not want to take any chances..."

"Okay, so who is this Brainiac?" Yuffie wondered.

"Something tells me you were able to stumble upon some answers here by chance," Leon turned to Sora, "As usual."

"Right," Sora rubbed the back of his head, "You guys should know that-"

"Wait," Simba cut Sora off, "Why is the portal still open? Shouldn't it have closed by now?"

Everyone turned to see Simba's statement was true, Leon groaned as he shook his head, "I thought there was a few of us still missing."

"Yeah, Rikku was panicking that there was something bad on the other side after Cid got us stuck in there in the first place," Yuffie recalled.

"FOR THE LAST TIME, IT WASN'T MY-"

"So we said we check it out first, but we forgot to let the others know it was okay so~" The ninja continued before calling out to the portal, "Hey! We're among friends here! You can come out!"

"Come on, Rikku," Sora heard a familiar voice as two familiar Gullwings pulled a third from the portal, "Yuffie said it was safe!"

"Don't be such a chicken..." The other stated as she help the third out.

"No! For all we know the other side could be H-e-double hockey sticks," The third fairy tried to renter the portal, "Let me back! I don't wanna go!"

"Yuna? Paine? Rikku?" Sora blinked in shock.

Two of the three turned to Sora, as the leader of the group, "Oh! Hey, Sora! You're here too!"

"We're glad you're okay," Paine stated before turned to the blonde, "Open your eyes Rikku, Sora's here so you can safely assume we're among friends."

"Oh no! You're trying to trick me again," Rikku stated as the other Gullwings turned to have her face the spikey hair teen, "But it won't work! 'Cause I know Sora disappeared! We haven't found him y-" they then let her go sending her flying out of control to Sora bumping into his noise, causing him to stumble back, she finally opened her eyes as she beamed, "Oh! SORA!" She then turned to the other fairies, "Hey! Look! I found-"

"WE KNOW!" Both fairies exclaimed.

"Okay, so more we're unfamiliar with," Nightwing stated, "Not seen in any Disney films or shows..."

"SORA!" Another voice exclaimed as a small blue ball of fur leaped out of the portal and tackled Sora to the ground, licking Sora like crazy.

"...and then there's Stitch," Nightwing added with slight surprised.

"There! That's him!" Cid pointed an accusing finger at Stitch, "He decided to mess around with my stuff dragging all in this madness!"

Yuffie then turned to the Gummi Engineer, "But he's so cute and fluffy! Do shift the blame on him!"

Cid sighed as he raised his hands in surrender, "Oh, I give up!"

"Hey, Stitch," Sora smiled as he moved the alien experiment off of him, "It's good to see you too."

With that, the portal closed itself, as Leon stated, "...and that was everyone who was with us."

"So, where are we anyway?" Rikku wondered, no longer panicking, "You think there's any treasure here?"

"Well, we did figure out who's responsible for the portals..." Sora explained as he set Stitch down and stood back up, "There's this guy called Brainiac and... well...

Sora quickly explained the situation to the Radiant Garden Restoration Committee, Leon crossed his arms, "So, this Brainiac is messing with our worlds and has control over the heroes of this world, just to turn it into the one he lost."

"Can't say I don't sympathize with him," Arieth stated, "But making Heartless and Nobodies smarter? Mind controlling heroes to attack the world they sworn to protect? Killing a world to bring his back..."

"It's seriously messed up, and if there's one thing we know about Heartless..." Cid continued.

"They won't listen to him forever, they'll turn on him," Leon nodded in agreement, "And God only knows what will happen if these intelligent Heartless start looking at the other worlds."

Tifa turned to Diana, "Guess we're all have a common goal."

"Agreed," Diana smiled, "We take the help."

"If you've been in the fight longer than Sora," Captain Atom walked up to the head of the Restoration Committee, "Then Commander Lane will more than be willing to work with you in stopping this threat."

Leon crossed his arms before stating, "Most of the Committee, knows what it's like to lose their home to the Heartless and a complete maniac..." He turned to Atom, "I wouldn't wish that fate to another world."

"We're in," Aeirth beamed, "Maybe if we can combine our resources, we can find the solution to all of our problems."

Everyone in the building nodded in agreement, as Rikku wondered, "So where is this Brainiac jerk?"

Sora gestured to the alien ship, "He's probably still in his Skull Ship."

The Gullwings turned to see the massive star ship that preyed upon the Earth. Rikku's skin turned pale as she asked, "Is it too late to turn around?"

"Yup," Paine nodded.

Leon turned to Sora and Diana, "Hope you have a base here. We need to regroup if we're going to take that thing on."

Just then a thunder like noise came from behind as a portal opened. Diana smiled as she gestured to the Boom Tube, "Cybrog's already a step ahead."

Mando turned to the portal, as he stated, "So this takes us back to our base?" He glanced to Sora and Diana, "Is it safe?"

"Never went through one of these kind of portals before but I trust Victor," The Keyblade Wielder admitted.

"I've known Victor from his days in the Titans," Diana smiled to the Mandalorian, "We can trust him."

"Well then, boys!" Penguin announced to his men, "And I can't believe I'm saying this, but let's join the heroes!" The thugs cheered as their boss chuckled, "We struck big on pay today!"

"Pay!" Rikku beamed.

"He must know where all the treasures are on this world!" Yuna smiled.

"Maybe this place isn't so bad after all," Paine stated.

"Come on! Let's go!" Rikku smiled as the three fairies entered the portal.

One by one everyone went through the portal, as Nightwing looked back. Sora turned to him, "What is it?"

"Bruce," He simply replied.

Leon, Diana, Jack, and Sora looked to the rooftops to see Batman watching them from above. The remaining Justice League member looked upon him with sympathy as Sora reassured the two residents of this world, "Hey, we'll make him right. We'll make them all right but we need to be smart about this..."

"He's right, Leon nodded before giving a small smirk, "Even if it's coming from the guy who rushes in blindly to help someone in need... that's saying something."

"Hey!"

Diana smiled sadly, "We should head back. Maybe we can finally figure out that energy that Brainiac's using."

Everyone nodded in agreement as they headed for the portal before Jack turned back to gloat, "Alas, my mind-controlled rodent-dressed friend! This is the day you'll always remember when you almost-" Sora quickly pulled Jack out of the way before a baterang struck the ground where the pirate once stood, looking back to the Dark Knight he quickly finished, "Captain Jack Sparrow!"

With that, the heroes made their retreat to the Hall, as Batman narrowed his eyes at the closed Boom-Tube...

And that will conclude today's chapter where the heroes are successfully. They have the data on the energy and recruited the Penguin to their cause. They now also have Plastic Man, Din Djarin, Grogu, Captain Jack Sparrow, Stitch, and most of the Radiant Garden Restoration Committee. But what of Merlin and Cloud? Will we see them? ;D

Alright, this was another long one, good news: the next chapter will be hopefully on the shorter side, but I want to work on some of my other fanfics before getting there so there will be a little wait, but not to long. Some I already have nearly done. I suppose I could tell you wall which ones they are... or maybe I won't! It'll be a nice surprise to those who wait.
