Izuku, bogged down by shopping bags, followed Yu from place to place now in a side street headed towards a ramen place that his mentor seemed more than ready to show him, excited even. The one thing he had learned about her was that she was a foodie. At every one of their stops that had food visible, she would buy something, although it was their main goal today it was excessive, to say the least, and he was pretty sure that she ate most of it. Now however with almost all of their shopping done, Izuku was more than happy to take this apparent lunch break. "How much further, Yu-san?" He asked, feeling tired from their all-morning trip.

"Not far, Izuku, you are going to love the ramen here." She said excitedly, almost skipping as she walked. Looking over to Izuku she frowned at him, he seemed tired and he was struggling with all of their shopping bags. At first, she did not mind him volunteering to carry everything even finding it cute that he would carry all of the stuff that they had bought, but now either being influenced by her upbringing or her personality when she was younger she felt that this was unnecessary and wanted to help, though she did not know how to bring it up. "You want help carrying all of that?" She asked, staring a hole into the five large shopping bags. "You look tired, and we will be heading home after we eat so it's fine if you need it." She finished.

Izuku frowned, he felt awkward that he was basically relying on her for everything. "That's fine, Yu-san. This was nothing. I help my mother all the time." He spoke trying to reassure her.

"Izuku..." Yu said with a slow breath, her face wearing her frustration. She was responsible for him and wanted to make these two weeks they were living together go by as smoothly as possible. Yu was well aware of his self-sacrificial nature, it was what attracted him to her in the first place, but she needed to nip this in the bud before he became a true hero. The boy shrunk under her gaze and she wasn't sure why that was. Letting out a sigh she explained her position. "You know that you are my responsibility, I am your mentor after all." Izuku opened his mouth to respond but did not have the chance. She moved effortlessly to his right side, taking two of the three bags from him and taking one of the handles of the last bag. "We share our burdens here." She said effectively taking half the load.

Izuku could not protest however, Yu tugged at the bag they shared and they were on their way. The journey from the main street through the side street was a short one as Yu had said leaving Izuku to look at an older building with an open sliding door and a sign at the storefront naming it the 'Tail of Fujiwara'. Izuku looked at you expectedly. "Wait Fujiwara?"

Yu laughed as the pair crossed the threshold of the ramen place, he had seemed to have figured it out without her telling him. "That's right, Izuku. This place is owned by Nanami's family though the name does not refer to them but a clan... Get this...'" She paused as if making a grandiose point. "It shares the same origin as the dragon god Ryujin, it's kind of the reason I brought you here. Old man Fujiwara is going to get a kick out of a hero working for the agency he sponsors with that name." A cat-like grin crossed her face when she looked at the look of wonder on Izuku's. "He loves myths and folklore... Probably as much as you love heroes." Yu finished chuckling at the boy's blush.

For the teen's part, he had no idea about the name's origin; he felt it was cool and a way to remember his late father as the man's Quirk was a form of pyrokinesis, fire breathing, after all. Now that he thought it over he wanted to look up more about Ryujin and the stories around him, maybe the owner would tell him more if he asked him. "I had no idea." Izuku finally spoke, mystified.

"Welcome! What can I gettcha?" An older gentleman said, distracted behind a counter near the back as Izuku and you found a table near the entrance.

Yu's cat-like grin never left her as she gave Izuku an amused look before answering the man. "Come on Jii-chan, at least look at your customers when you greet them." Yu spoke in a mock mocking tone.

The man half looked at their table with a faux-offended expression, not fully processing what he was looking at before he was halfway through with his sentence. "Come on now, I ain't that old... wait a minute, is that y'all Yu?" The man joyously moved to the table putting a hand on Yu's shoulder. "Ah ain't seen ya in years. How ya been?" The man asked in a dialect that Izuku couldn't quite place, but it was one he heard often when he was little.

"I have been... Good." Yu answered the man, the same look that Izuku was worried about crossing her face again. "I am now in the top thirty and I have moved back to Hosu for the time being." Yu said with pride, getting the man to beam at her.

"Well shoot, hopefully, y'all can get them other two rascals to straighten up a bit. Seems like you're playin' mama to 'em or somethin'." Fujiwara chuckled with Yu before looking over at Izuku, the man suddenly went straight-faced looking the boy over, as if examining Izuku. "An' who is this? A buddy or somethin'?" Fujiwara released Yu and brought his hand to his chin in thought, Izuku had no idea what was happening.

Yu smiled, introducing Izuku to the man. "You know how Me, Rumi, Touya, and Keigo had interned with heroes the first time we came to Hosu." The man nodded looking back at you interested in what she had to say. "Well, since I am a high-ranking hero now, I was asked to participate in U.A.'s internship program... And this is the student I chose. Izuku Midoriya." She said with a proud look on his face.

Izuku got up, extending his hand to shake Fujiwara's, only to freeze as the man just looked at it mumbling to himself. "Midoriya... Midoriya... Well, I'll be darned, you sure do look like him. Tell me, son, you know anyone by the name of Hisashi Midoriya?" He asked, stroking a short but thick graying beard.

Izuku was surprised, he looked at Yu who was looking between them with an awestruck expression, and he turned back to the older gentleman in genuine confusion. "You knew my dad?" He asked more to confirm with the man.

Fujiwara's expression was now a lot more gentler as he laughed taking a bewildered Izuku into a half embrace. "Know him? Dang, I owe him my life. If he hadn't talked Hana down I don't know where I would be." The man let Izuku go, still chuckling.

Yu froze at the revelation, she was so busy trying to figure out if Izuku was All Might's son that she missed something very important. She knew Izuku's father, Yu had met him on a couple of occasions, she even knew this Hana person and knew of Hisashi's relationship with her and Nanami's father. Izuku Midoriya, her hero mentee, was the grandson of a former yakuza clan head... Then it dawned on her. 'I guess it's too late now.' She thought as she remembered what kind of person Hana Midoriya was, she fucked up big time going after that woman's grandson, she had an old school approach, and she used to run the clan in Yu's hometown. Now she hoped that this thing with Keigo and Rumi worked out as well as Izuku never coming to hate her. She is going to need everything to go perfectly on the path she chose or she is seriously in trouble. Yu's awestruck expression took a turn for the worst as she groaned to herself. 'Maybe she would understand, I mean I do like him. And oh god All Might. I am so dead.' She finished the thought wondering what they were going to write on her tombstone.

Fujiwara turned to Yu having a hidden mental breakdown with an interested smile to speak on the current state of events. "You done good bringin' him here, Yu."

Getting knocked out of her stupor she replied, not knowing all this information beforehand, coming off as shy in her response. "I can't take credit for that..." She paused to look away with a small blush, playing with her hair. "This is all news to me." She regretted getting drunk yesterday. 'I wonder if he is going to think any less of me.'

The man chuckled again while Izuku examined Yu. "I wouldn't blame ya none fer not noticin'. Time sure does fly, 'specially in y'all's line o' work."

Izuku was curious, it seemed that Yu had met his father before, it was concerning that he did not know much about his father and kind of heartwarming that all of the people who knew him remembered him fondly. He gazed over at Yu finding more appreciation for her, Izuku wanted to ask what she knew about his dad but did not want to put her on the spot so he was going to save that conversation for another day. He was brought out of his thoughts as the man with an arm around the boy spoke again.

"Come on over here and take a load off, Izuku. Make sure you ain't too full 'cause I'm fixin' to whip up all my best dishes, and maybe even some of your pa's favorites too." The man practically forced Izuku back in his chair. "Mah name's Genshiro, Genshiro Fujiwara to be exact... folks 'round here call me diff'rent things, so don't fret 'bout the name, son."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, sir." Again Izuku extended his hand for a shake.

"Well, ain't you just the polite one. But ya don't need to call me sir, you're one of my girls' boys and also one of Hana's." Genshiro spoke, taking a firm hold of Izuku's hand and shaking it.

Izuku was now curious about something from the way Genshiro spoke. This Hana person seemed like a person he should know, the man implying that they should be close if Izuku was reading him right, and looking at Yu came with the same thought. Izuku felt that it was best to ask. "I'm sorry but... Who is Hana?"

Genshiro's smile dropped and Yu looked dumbfounded at Izuku. The boy looked at both adults as if he was indeed missing something. Genshiro sighed and rubbed the sides of his skull as if he had got a sudden headache, opening his mouth to speak. "Oh lawd it was worsen I thought, listen here boy, Izuku. Hana... Hana Midoriya is yer grandma, yer dad's mama, and a ol' friend of mine. Did yer daddy never mention her to ya?" He frowned when Izuku shook his head. "How 'bout a blond gal 'bout your daddy's age... with them sharp red eyes, a mouth sharper than a tack, an' a li'l shorter than me." Genshiro spoke, comparing the woman's height to his.

Izuku brought a hand to his chin thinking over the description. He knew only one person who fits it almost perfectly, Mitsuki Bakugo, the mother of his childhood bully, although bringing that up now would probably cause more problems than it was worth. Genshiro seems to be close with Hisashi's side of the family, Mitsuki as well if he was indeed reading him right so he was going to be brief with any questions about her. "I mean... There's Aunt Mitsuki."

"Aunt Mitsuki?" Something in Genshiro's face twisted when the words left his mouth.

"Yeah, she is one of my mom's friends." He scratched the back of his head nervously. "I uhh.. I used to visit her a lot when I was younger... That is the only person that I can think of."

Genshiro could not stand it anymore, the man had a grin plastered on his slightly grizzled face, and he did something to Izuku that seemed foreign for a man of his stature... He laughed, not just any laugh but one of those soul-cleansing laughs. The man held his sides as he was tickled pink by the teen's response, happy that the three of them were the only ones in the store at the moment.

Izuku pondered if he had said something while looking at Yu who seemed as perplexed as he was shrugging at him. "Did I say something wrong?"

"Oh no, you're just fine. Ain't laughed like that in a spell. Mighty glad Mitsuki finally learned to play nice with others. That gal's like a cat, y'know? Feed her, give her no trouble, she'll be just fine with ya. Not the most sociable person, but fine nonetheless. But every once in a blue moon, like you know 'cause you call her Auntie, she'll take a likin' to ya... and then she'll stand by ya no matter what. Learned that lesson the hard way." Genshiro made a show of rolling up his long left shirt sleeve revealing a full arm sleeve tattoo of a Carp swimming up a waterfall towards what looks like a dragon under rather large burn scars. "Got this one after I stirred the pot with yer Auntie's fella, she said sorry once she realized it was all in harmless fun... but dang, it stung, you best appreciate her, you got a good one looking after y'all."

The boy examined the tattoo covered grimacing, with some nasty scars to say the least. Though he couldn't say he would do the same, the fact that Mitsuki did this for someone else gave him hope that whatever happened in their childhood to put her son Katsuki at odds with him did not mean that the other boy was a lost cause as a hero and they could even become friends in the future again, he wanted to believe in that even if it turned to be wishful thinking. "Oh wow did she do that with her Quirk?"

Genshiro examined the wound fondly looking at Izuku with a large grin. "Sho' did. Your Auntie got herself a mighty fierce one too, prob'ly one o' the purtiest fires I done seen, a black flame that can stand up to your daddy's orange or your grandma's red. Had to go see a medic after too." He said, returning his shirt sleeve to its place. "Talkin' 'bout Quirks, you a Hero student, ain't ya? How long y'all plannin' on hangin' 'round in Hosu City?"

Izuku was taken aback at the sudden change in subject so he was too slow to answer with Yu taking over for him. "Two weeks starting yesterday." The woman was quick to answer for him. "But we are not officially going to start all the real internship stuff until the day after tomorrow, we have some things I want to work through with him, and then we are on patrols until the weekend." Yu finished laying out her plans for their first week together, leaving out what she had planned to appeal to him as a possible romantic partner for obvious reasons. Though she enjoyed watching the two of them talk she felt left out and that was why she spoke up.

"Is that so?"

"Yes." Izuku confirmed.

"Are y'all free this weekend? I wanna get to know y'all, Izuku and Yu, but I might just talk your heads off. Reckon y'all must be hungry too, since y'all came here to eat. And y'all probably got other things to do after this." Izuku looked to Yu who nodded getting a smile out of Genshiro as he continued to speak. "Great! There's a lot I want to chat with y'all 'bout that can wait 'til this weekend. But first, what ya'll eatin' first?"

"Do you remember my usual?" Yu asked, it being almost two years since she was last here.

The man produced a pen out of nowhere pointing it at Yu like a magic trick. "Don't I ever, of course, I wouldn't forget. Like I said, you're one of my girls, there ain't no way I'm ever forgettin' one of my brats' favorite cookin' of mine, Argos-san."

'Argos?' Izuku internally questioned.

Seeing Izuku's confusion Yu explained while Genshiro had a shit-eating grin at her blushing face. "It's what Rumi... Mirko used to call me, remember when I said Jii-chan likes myths." Izuku nodded. "Well, he got that from her... You can look it up later. It's kinda embarrassing to explain."

Izuku had almost forgotten that the seventh-ranked hero Mirko was a friend of his new mentor. This was weird for him, first, it was All Might, then Endeavour, now Hawks and soon Mirko, he was rubbing shoulders with the top ten of Japan since entering high school. He was excited, he could not wait to meet Rumi with her being Yu's friend but that could wait until his attention was back on the conversation at hand.

"...Besides, is there something wrong with the name, Mount Lady?" It seemed that Izuku came back at an interesting turn in the conversation.

"I kin talk plain ol' English just fine, Yu. Ain't no way in God's good earth I'm ever gonna use a name like that fer one o' y'all gals. Makes ya sound like some kinda AV star."

Yu opened her mouth to retort but her words were caught in her throat and it did not help when she peered over to Izuku who had a red face matching hers as he looked at them both stunned, the very image of innocence she saw in him shattering like glass, she wasn't expecting the father of her friends and a man who saw her as a surrogate daughter calling her that. Now the embarrassment that she felt from being called Argos did not feel as bad. "Fine... You can call me whatever." She conceded with a huff looking out of the window.

Genshiro saw this as a small victory, and raising two daughters he knew well enough alone to not push his luck while teasing her, a joke about a pun in English would have to do for now after she has been calling him gramps for seven years now. Now all that was left to do was for him to wait for her to cool for a bit then apologize with a dessert, she was a sucker for donuts after all. He turned to the bright red Izuku, grinning. "Don't fret, Izuku. Hang around us long enough and you'll toughen up in no time. Now, what y'all want to eat?" Before Izuku could answer however Genshiro closed the distance, it was rare to see one of the girls with a guy and he got an idea to test their relationship, and hopefully earn Izuku some brownie points with Yu. "Fore ya answer... Yu's norm'ly likes the Tonkatsu bowl. I reckon you should give it a try too, ain't required but I'm purty darn shore it'd tickle her fancy if ya did." The man whispered in the teen's ear, making sure the woman that he pissed off was not paying them any mind.

Izuku for his part got a stern look on his face and nodded. "I will get the Tonkatsu bowl... Please." Yu's ears perked up but she did not change her position, something about Yu being angry did not sit right with him, getting butterflies in his stomach. He wanted to change her mood for the better and something in him would do anything that it took to do so, but now he had a hurdle placed in front of him.

"Coming right up." Genshiro spoke, leaving the two of them alone for a moment, not wanting to upset any special diets that the two had, he brought the two water before returning to his work behind the counter. With them being his only customers he was able to take his time with their orders.

It took some time and some heavy silence but after a while Izuku got Yu's mood to improve, it started with the idea he had after their talk in the morning, about how Izuku could use his Quirk, like All Might's muscular form of course without him bulking up, to what they were going to do today. For the first time in a while Genshiro saw something that was rare nowadays, one of Yu's infectious smiles as she laughed at something Izuku said, the pair now conversing like old friends. 'Well I'll be darned, he don't just favor Hisashi, he's got his same dang moves too, without all that smooth talkin'. Gives me an idea.' Without a word he dropped off their food, them being none the wiser. They didn't stop talking when they spotted their food and after a while he sprung what he was thinking, catching Izuku mid-bite as planned. "Hey there, Izuku. Ya got a sweetheart waitin' on ya back home? If not, why not give my Nanami a shot? I reckon y'all would hit it off real nice."

Izuku nearly choked and Yu froze. Once Izuku had cleared his throat and Yu had her mind reset they simultaneously spoke.

"What?"

"Excuse me!?"

(...)

Meanwhile, Nanami was in a hatchback as she opened the door for a pleased Rumi flanked by two U.A. students when she sneezed. She had come to Musutafu with Rumi after telling her what happened this morning, apparently, the seventh-ranked hero was coming to take two mutation Quirked heroes-in-training off another hero's hands with him overstepping according to the hero committee getting wind of it and assigned them with the students' permission to their hero agency. When Nanami told her what happened with Kamui Woods she insisted they go to his home, with her only solace being that she was a calmer person than Keigo. "Alright all aboard kids." Rumi folded the passenger seat to let them in after they put their bags in the trunk.

Nanami smiled as the first to enter was a pink-haired girl with pink skin that she could tell from the plop she made behind her as she adjusted a small pack strapped to her chest was going to be fun to be around, and Izuku would have some people his age, to only raise an eyebrow when she spoke with the other student, a blonde boy the same age as her and Izuku with a flesh-colored tail, about the same Izuku she was thinking of the girl started to talk. "Man I wish we went to the same agency as Midori, Aizawa didn't have to do us like that with the homework he gave us."

"You rely too much on Midoriya, Ashido." The straight-laced boy spoke his voice taking a more stern tone than hers while the boy sat on the other side of the car in the back. "You won't get far if you are always going to him for every little thing."

"Midori was the one who wanted to be my tutor, what's wrong with me relying on my friend every once in a while, you do the same for Tsu." Ashido spoke about what Nanami gathered as a classmate of theirs and Izuku.

"That's because she has to take care of her siblings after school." The boy retorted, defending his actions. "You know I could help you, you don't have to put it all on Midoriya."

The girl, Ashido, frowned and scoffed at the boy, apparently not entertaining the idea. "It's Midori or nothing, Ojiro." She spoke turning her head away from the boy shier when Nanami giggled at her answer, peering at her through the rearview mirror. Nanami gave her an eye smile with her golden brown eyes under long elegant lashes in response.

At that moment Rumi entered the car after she closed the trunk, looking back at them, surprised that Ashido was now quiet. She looked at Nanami for answers only getting a shrug from the other woman who started the car in the same motion. "Did you guys get acquainted?" She asked the teens, them giving a shake of the head. "Well you know me as Mirko but my name is Rumi Usagiyama but you can call me whatever you want," she said, getting comfortable on the passenger's side and turning back to Nanami. "And this is..."

"Nanami Fujiwara..." She introduced herself by putting the car into gear and joining the flow of traffic.

"She is Mount Lady's agent, she is filling in for mine while he is out sick since Mount is off today."

"Ashido... Mina Ashido." Mina was the first of the two to offer her introduction.

"Mashirao Ojiro" Mashirao was the last to introduce himself.

"Nice to meetcha both."
