You know something that's been bugging me?
Remember that supersoldier that jumped to a branch of the 1940's?
Why did we never deal with that?
RAVONNA
Do you mean 616 Steve Rogers?
The Time-Keepers told us to stand down on that one
MOBIUS
Really? Why?
RAVONNA
Turns out he returned a bunch of the 616 Infinity Stones to their proper place in the timeline
Prevented a bunch of deviations all on his own that way
So I guess he was a net good
MOBIUS
But he made the new branch AFTER he prevented all the other ones.
Why did he go back? Was he trying to change or avert something?
RAVONNA
No, actually
I got curious and looked into it
Apparently it was just to get married and become a stay at home dad
MOBIUS
Aw, really?
That's actually sort of sweet.
RAVONNA
Yeah
And between you and me, we got bigger problems than one midcentury househusband
MOBIUS
You ain't kidding.
We'd have a lot less to deal with if the Lokis would shack up, pop out some mini-clone kids, and bake self-absorbed cookies for the rest of eternity.
