Kagome was climbing out of the well, many thoughts on her mind. The completion of the Shikon Jewel and the defeat of Naraku was her main focus. It left her completely unaware of her surroundings.
"Give me your shards wench", said a scruff and rather rude voice as it grabbed at her hair and tugged her away from the well. Turning somewhat, Kagome saw a large snake yokai holding onto her dark locks intent on devouring her and the jewel shards.
"Let go before I purify you", said Kagome in a frantic voice hoping Inuyasha would come save her.
"Wench do you have a death wish", said the snake youkai.
"No but you do if you don't let her go", came Inuyasha's voice a few feet from them with Tetsusaiga in hand ready to strike his opponent.
"What if I don't", it asked the snake yokai wanting to see what Inuyasha would do, not realizing he made a big mistake.
"Keh, I'll just rip you to shreds ya bastard", said Inuyasha ready to use wind scar at any time.
"Inuyasha you better wait until I get out of his grasp or I'll say your most favorite of words", said Kagome in a sweet but dangerously low deadly voice.
"Keh I ain't gonna hit ya bitch just get out of my way", said Inuyasha.
"A little hard with his claws in my hair baka!", Kagome exclaimed in frustration.
"Bitch I see that, maybe do something to get away from the damn thing!", Inuyasha yelled back, coming closer, focusing more on Kagome than the youkai now.
Slowly the snake yokai let go of Kagome's hair and slowly moved backwards until it hit something, not knowing what it was the youkai turned around. Its slitted pupils widened in fear as they met the cold stare of none other than Sesshomaru.
"Half breed you shouldn't let your opponent run away", said Sesshomaru in his cold baritone voice as he sliced the demon in front of him.
"Shit ya bastard, he was mine", growled Inuyasha, getting ready to strike Sesshomaru.
"Inuyasha SIT!", Kagome said. "It's rather rude to just try and strike him down, he just saved me basically."
"Keh, whatever, I woulda had the fucker if you hadn't of started arguing with me", Inuyasha said gruffly while getting up after the spell wore off pulling blades of grass from his mouth and hair.
"You, half-brother, would not have had him, this is why this Sesshomaru will join our packs together to defeat Naraku."
"Hell no you bastard we're not joining packs just cause you say so", yelled Inuyasha.
"Inuyasha, Sesshomaru does have a point. The more power in the group the better we are at defeating Naraku", said Kagome matter of factly. Proceeding to give the secret weapon of cuteness the puppy eyes.
"Feh just stay out of my way or I'll beat the crap out of you", Inuyasha said to Sesshomaru glaring and crossing his arms. The less fight the better considering Kagome did look rather cute pouting.
Huffing Inuyasha spun away from Kagome and Sesshomaru trying to avoid the small tinge of pink adorning his cheekbones
"Oh thank you for seeing it my way", said Kagome clapping her hands together in happiness.
Sesshomaru gazed at Kagome, feeling a flutter in his glacier heart. His thoughts betraying him as her mannerisms reminded him of Rin.
"Her emotions are changing so much, such an intriguing female", he thought begrudgingly. His beast seemed to think that she was rather attractive, her face lovely even. For a human she was rather mesmerizing to his beast.
"Mate", his beast grumbled.
"This Sesshomaru has no intentions for this female, she is human, a filth to us, below any standards".
"She is beautiful, powerful, not filth, not human...mine".
"Explain", Sesshomaru glared rather put out by his beast's exclamation. Of course she was human, there was nothing but holy powers that he could sense, he could smell her humanity.
As Sesshomaru was focused on his beast, Kagome was a little freaked out, it looked like Sesshomaru was giving her a dirty look, "Um Sesshomaru", Kagome said.
"THAT IS SESSHOMARU-SAMA TO YOU WENCH", screeched Jaken who just got there with Rin and AhUn. How he wasn't out of breath from saying all those words in one sentence was beyond Kagome's understanding.
"Hello Kagome-chan Rin is happy to see you, are you happy to see Rin?", Rin asked.
"Hello, I'm happy to see you and AhUn as well", Kagome said, trying to not pay attention to Sesshomaru's stare.
"Keh, let's go before any other demon comes and grabs you wench", yelled Inuyasha from the trail to the village. Shaking from his internal battles, Sesshomaru proceeded to head towards Kaede's hut. Walking past Inuyasha without another thought.
"Hey, ya bastard don't walk past me", said Inuyasha running towards Sesshomaru.
"Can Kagome-chan show Rin where Shippo-kun is please?", Rin asked, looking at Kagome with puppy dog eyes.
"Of course sweetheart", said Kagome smiling down at her, "first we need to catch up to Inuyasha and Sesshomaru".
"Okay, come on Kagome-chan", Rin said, running off to catch up.
Once they got to the village they headed straight towards Kaede's hut.
"Mama", Shippo exclaimed as he ran from Kaede's hut.
"Hello Shippo, how are you?", Kagome asked, hugging him close.
"Good, I was hoping you got me some candy", Shippo said in his energetic voice, hopefully getting his sweets.
"Sure do, why don't you go share with Rin while the adults talk", Kagome said, grabbing a small bag of sweets from her over indulgent yellow backpack.
"Okay, come on Rin I'll show you what pokey is", Shippo said, running off with Rin to go share in a flower field up ahead.
"Jaken, go watch Rin and Miko's kit", Sesshomaru ordered.
"Yes m-milord", Jaken quivered out from Sesshomaru's intense stare and went to watch Rin and Shippo.
"Okay, so what's been happening while I was gone", Kagome said, clapping her hands to gain everyone's attention.
"Well there was this report from a village next to us that has some unusual attacks coming upon it", voiced Miroku who just walked in wearing a red handprint on his face.
"Pervert", went through everyone's head aside from two inu's.
"Should we check it out? There might be some jewel shards", Miroku said. Everyone seemed to agree, considering there were fewer leads concerning the shards.
"Well come on, you guys aren't getting younger so lets get a move on", Inuyasha said impatiently. Everyone prepared themselves, some rolling their eyes at Inuyasha's attitude. They had left Rin and Shippo in care of the imp and Kaede and were soon walking to their destination. About three hours into the trek Sesshomaru felt Tenseiga act up and point towards Inuyasha.
He stopped suddenly which made everyone else stop.
"What the fuck are you doin' stopping ya bast-", yelled Inuyasha but was stopped short. Sesshomaru sliced him with Tenseiga causing the Black Pearl in his pupil to pop out and float towards the Shikon Jewel.
"What's going on?", Kagome asked as the Pearl and Jewel combined to make one shining orb.
No one knew what was going on, not even the all knowing Sesshomaru much to his dislike. The glow began to subside and a figure began to form turning into a handsome male, rather tall with silver hair that went down to his calves even with a top knot.
He was tan with jagged blue stripes on his high cheekbones and wrists. His eyes were golden like molten honey.
Once the transformation was done everyone stared in shock as the great Inu-No-Taisho stood right in front of them as he looked at everyone. Until his eyes landed on Inuyasha and Sesshomaru.
"My pups, it has been a long time since we saw each other has it not?", Sugimi asked in his rich deep voice.
"What the hell are you talking about", Inuyasha said, coming out of his shock.
"Half breed it is best to honor our father", Sesshomaru said who made 'our' come out like it was too distasteful to say.
"Feh, the bastard ain't my father", Inuyasha crossed his arms and stuck his nose up. Kagome elbowed Inuyasha's ribs rather hard. Making him turn and glare at her. She glared back in turn.
"Don't be rude Inuyasha, I am sure Sesshomaru is telling the truth", Kagome said in a stern voice.
Inuyasha and Sesshomaru's father chuckled at this, "Seems you get along fine".
Inuyasha just 'Fehed' and Kagome looked away, feeling somewhat shy with the males gaze on her. Miroku ended up being the only one to ask the youkai any questions.
"How did you end up coming back to the living youkai-sama?"
"I was in an endless sleep when I passed but I was woken by one of the Kami. He had said that I was not supposed to die and suddenly a bright light came and here I am now", Sugimi said looking at the group.
"Would you like to join us in our group since you just came back to life?", Kagome asked. She felt like it would be unfair not to ask him. Considering he was Sesshomaru's and Inuyasha's father.
"WHAT! The hell we are letting another damn person join this damn group he is not coming alo-", Inuyasha's voice seemed to fizzle away as he caught her evil stare. He shuddered visibly from the stare, it only showed that bad things would happen if he continued. Huffing, he looked away from her.
"Hn I will join your group little miko. I would like to know your names first. You may call me Sugimi", he said.
"Well my name is Kagome and over there is Miroku and Sango."
"Hm a taijiya, miko, monk, and two demons. An odd group you have but I will join nonetheless", Sugimi said looking into Kagome's ocean blue eyes once again.
"Such beautiful eyes", thought Sugimi, which caused the beast in him to awaken so he could see.
"She is beautiful and I want her as a mate", it said.
"We just met her and your horny self can't even hold back after just seeing a female".
"No she's our real mate".
"Hn what do you mean", he asked but just like Sesshomaru he got nothing.
"Hey, ol' man whatcha waiting for, we're already walking", shouted Inuyasha who noticed his father paces behind them, staring into space.
"Please be more civil and come to me instead of yelling", Sugimi said sternly.
"Keh, whatever you won't catch up we'll just leave ya", Inuyasha muttered with his arms crossed.
"Inuyasha SIT what have I told you over and over again", Kagome yelled after hearing his muttering. Though all she got was a groan.
"Um Kagome-chan, I think you knocked him out", Sango said looking into the hanyou shaped hole.
"Oops my bad", Kagome said blushing, seeing everyone's gaze on her.
"How is it that you put my youngest pup to the ground?", Sugimi asked, and Sesshomaru too was curious.
"Eh, oh that well that necklace around him has a spell on him cause the first time I met him he tried to kill me", Kagome said somewhat muttering towards the end looking at the ground. Both Sugimi and Sesshomaru's beasts were rather displeased with this. Hearing the growls of anger for harming what was theirs.
Suddenly Kagome's head shot up. Sugimi looked questioningly at her, watching her grab her bow.
"Shards heading this direction Inuyasha", Kagome said getting her bow in position, Inuyasha was up in seconds. Ready to strike whoever had the shard.
"Ha,Ha,Ha well what do we have here?", came a female voice from in front of them.
"Show yourself before I just come after you myself bitch", Inuyasha snarled wielding Tessaiga trying to leer the voice out.
"Hmph you're no fun", came from what looked like a twelve year old girl.
"Who are you?", Kagome asked, ready to shoot if she did any funny business.
"Oh silly me, my name is Chu and have you seen my papa?"
"Do you know your papa's name?", Kagome asked, slightly lowering her bow from the girl.
"Uh yeah his name is Naraku and I am supposed to find the Inutachi and give them this sack", Chu pointed to the sack right behind her. The tachi felt somewhat alarmed but maybe she was wrong, Naraku couldn't be her papa.
"Do you know what's in the sack Chu?", Kagome questioned.
"Yeah it's powder and I have to give it to the puppies in their group but can you show me where the puppies are? I don't see any around here."
"Um, can I see the powder?", Kagome asked.
"Sure but be careful if you sneeze every last speck of this powder will go everywhere", Chu explained giving Kagome the sack.
Just as she opened it a waft of dust trailed towards Inuyasha's nose that floated up from the bag.
"The...sneeze...he...sniffle...ll is goin' on", Inuyasha tried to say but soon he sneezed and the powder wafted up to Sugimi and Sesshomaru's nose causing them to start sneezing.
A glow came from them and when it subsided there were three tiny puppies.
"So they were puppies, looks like my job is done", Chu said while starting to walk off, but before she left she turned to ash with six shards sticking out of the ash.
"Wow", was the only word the three remaining Tachi could say as Kagome went to get the shards.
"Kagome-sama look", Miroku said looking at three piles of clothes that were whimpering.
"Oh my, Sango check Inuyasha's kimono while Miroku and I check Sesshomaru's and Sugimi's kimono", Kagome said, rushing over to the pile of clothes.
"Right", Sango said looking in Inuyasha's kimono but gasped at what she found like Kagome and Miroku were puppies about two or three weeks old and looked just the same except Sesshomaru and Sugimi kept their markings and Inuyasha's ears were a bit pointed instead of floppy like the two others.
"What do we do, Kagome-chan?", Sango asked, worried that they could be attacked at any minute with puppies in their care.
"Why don't we go to Kaede then go on from there", Miroku suggested.
"Wait, we also need milk for them, they look rather young and hungry from their whining", Sango stated.
"Who is going to give them milk?", Kagome asked. She knew that in her time she could get formula but it would be a struggle traveling and having nursing pups currently.
Miroku with a rather serious face looked at the ladies, "I think there is a way. There was a villager that mentioned an herb that helps with lactation among the women in his village. I learned this purely for scholarly purposes of course. Said herb aided in even some of the women becoming wet nurses."
Sango and Kagome looked at him dryly, he was unbelievable sometimes. Sighing, Sango looked Miroku in the face, "Is it really true, is there an herb that really can do this?"
He was serious it seemed. Still looking rather adamant in his information.
"I believe he mentioned that it is a rather common herb found in tree lines, I can find it most likely from what description he gave me", Miroku replied starting off to the tree line not far from their spot.
"Okay, Kagome and I will stay here just in case Naraku decides to show his face", Sango said to him as he parted ways.
"I am unsure if this herb is really something that will work Sango-chan. I never saw it in history or medical books", Kagome said with skepticism, gathering the small wiggling pups from the folds of their former clothes. At least they could be easily distinguished considering the markings Sugimi and Seshhomaru still had. They were so small, she only grew up with Buyo and he was still rather large as a kitten.
"I guess we can only try at this point, pups at this age typically don't grow their milk teeth until a bit later on. I would assume that it will be the only way they can consume nutrition at this point. It would be hard to find a lactating dog out this way", Sango replied, holding Inuyasha and petting one of his silken ears. Hoping to get him to nap while they waited for Miroku to come back.
Kagome followed in Sango's lead, rubbing their ears and getting them to rest before they ate. She almost forgot her question that she asked in the first place.
"Who is going to be the one that feeds them though, we never decided on that". Kagome looked at Sango somewhat uncertain.
"Well I do not think I would be the best of wet nurses Kagome-chan. Not to say I couldn't do it but I also think you have a better connection with Inuyasha and you know Sesshomaru-sama a lot more than I do. I know Sugimi-sama is rather new to our group but I think only one person really needs to be a wet nurse, that way one of us is there to protect them and the other is ready for battle", Sango said rather quickly, a little nervous considering they were picking who was going to nurse them. Who knew if they actually had their adult male minds. No need for them to see her so vulnerable. It would be rather awkward when the curse broke and they remembered too.
Kagome pulled her bottom lip into her mouth and thought deeply before answering Sango. On one hand she was rather nervous to even agree to the terms of nursing. She didn't even have kids, let alone a high school diploma to say the least. It was so much to think about in such a short time. She knew that the answer needed to be soon though before they started back to the village. Kagome did understand Sango's thought considering that she was more familiar with the males that Sango was. With a deep breath, Kagome exhaled.
"I guess it would be best for me to do it then. Miroku would definitely not volunteer either. I can do my best to feed them and make sure they live", Kagome said sure of herself. Secretly Sango gave a sigh of relief, almost grateful for Kagome's selfless nature.
"Ladies! I believe I have found what we are looking for", Miroku yelled from the tree line, looking somewhat out of breath but holding a small handful of green leaves.
"So then who is taking it?"
"I will be taking the herb", Kagome said, holding two pups in one arm and reaching out a hand to Miroku to give her the herb.
"Ah here you go Kagome-sama, from what I remember the villager said to chew thoroughly and swallow. It is rather bitter but everything needs to go down. I can not quite remember the time it would take for milk to swell."
Swallowing the lump in her throat she looked at Miroku and Sango. She was glad that they were both being serious about this and not making fun of the situation, especially Miroku and his lecherous ways. Looking down she only observed the herb for a short while before putting the leaves in her mouth and chewing. Making a pinched face, Kagome chewed as thoroughly as she could. It was rather gross to start but as she chewed more the taste started to go away. Eventually she felt like she chewed enough and swallowed. Sango thankfully had grabbed a water bottle from her bag and Kagome grabbed for a swig to get the remaining herb down.
"Bleh, that was disgusting. I hope that will be the last time that I have to do that", Kagome said aloud, looking over towards her two companions. Miroku had a thoughtful look on his face.
"That Kagome-chan is something I do not have knowledge of, let us hope it is a one time thing", he said to her. Kagome felt a little bit saddened by that fact but was hopeful for the one time discomfort.
"I guess it would be best that we eat something while we wait. It will be beneficial for you as well Kagome, considering you are now feeding three extras", Sango said as she went over to the yellow sack, pulling out stuff for a small break to eat as she held Inuyasha in her other hand. Miroku came over to help as Kagome's hands were full with the two other pups.
For a short while they conversed and ate their meal. Mostly about who the girl was that poofed into dust and how they were going to find Naraku considering he was probably the one to curse the inu youkai.
Eventually Kagome felt a wet spot begin to grow on her chest. Somewhat shocked, Kagome looked down,"Miroku was right for once and I don't know if I like it", Kagome thought blushing as the pups in her hands began to wiggle again, scenting the milk.
Turning away from her two companions Kagome tried to unbutton her top and pull her bra up from her leaking breasts. Sango, ready for this, stood right behind her, glaring at the monk who whistled and turned away from the girls. The trees sure were interesting from his angle. Was that a lovely pine, maybe even a maple next to it, so riveting.
Kagome with some relief asked Sango for Inuyasha and switched off Sugimi just so she could start with someone she knew. It felt weird to even feed a stranger at this point. She then got Sesshomaru and Inuyasha to latch to her nipples and let them suckle away shuddering and blushing knowing they were actually full grown males. Little did she know they still had their full grown male minds.
*Sesshomaru's POV*
"Hmm what is this delicious liquid", Sesshomaru thought as he cracked his eyes open while he greedily gulped from the lush BREAST. From being in a weightless sleep to this was a shock to him.
"What the hell", he looked up and saw the miko with her strange kimono top up and his mouth on her nipple.
"~Moan~, mate's milk is so good I want more", his beast thought as he made Sesshomaru suckle harder.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING", Sesshomaru asked, but all he got was a purr which made him do the same showing his beast's happiness.
*Inuyasha's POV*
"Where am I?", he thought as his mind moved to what happened, "Shit what is going on, what is this taste in mouth no second that what's in my mouth".
"Mate is giving us milk",his beast said.
"When did she have milk in her bag? She said it spoils in warm places if it's out for too long", he asked his beast.
"No mate is giving us milk from her breast".
"WHAT"
"Chill we are a puppy so we get mates milk from her tit...Groan...keep on sucking I want more."
*Third Person*
Once they stopped suckling, seemingly done Kagome detached the pups. She passed them off to Sango and was handed Sugimi whose eyes were open. Giving a deep breath she hoped that he was unaware of this and helped him latch on and she looked away when he started to suckle blushing again.
*Sugimi's POV*
"What is she doing", he thought looking at her ample breasts as she helped him latch on her nipple he was in shock but soon started to suck to get liquid in his mouth and his beast purred at this. He was rather hungry in this size, and she gave the nourishment he needed.
"I want to stay here forever", he thought, closing his golden eyes as his beast agreed. Full heartedly, he sucked harder, getting a moan out of her from the force as he licked the nipple a couple of times as well. If only he were in his actual form. It was pure torture to have the mentality of a full grown male and the body of a fragile pup.
"She would be a great mother to our pups", his beast said purring, the thought of pups was so pleasing to Sugimi.
*Third Person*
After a while all of the pups were fed and napping. Such small bodies needed to conserve their energy. The trio eventually packed the male's clothes into Kagome's bag, Miroku graciously carrying it for Kagome. They then set foot to Kaede's hut.
As they came in, Inuyasha started to whimper so Kagome took him from Sango as she was now holding Sugimi.
"Oh my what have ye here?", Kaede asked.
"Um, Naraku's new toy turned Sesshomaru, Inuyasha, and Sugimi into puppies", Kagome said.
"So the Lord of the West is back is he", Kaede said.
"Yeah but do you know a cure to turn them back?"Kagome said, hopeful that there was a cure.
"No child at this point ye and these pups are a target. It would be best if you head to your time to protect them while we find something", Kaede said to Kagome.
"You do have a point, I can come back every few days to see if there is any progress", Kagome said putting Inuyasha in her shirt and was handed Sesshomaru and Sugimi putting them in her shirt as well. Thankfully Miroku had unpacked the armor from her pack that she started to put on.
She then left with three pups snuggled in her shirt as she went to the well.
"Well here goes nothing", she said, jumping in and soon disappeared.
