"You ready?" I asked Lillie

"You bet!" she said. "Let's go get that flute!"

"I heard you needed a ride!" We saw on top of a Magikarp boat an Ace Trainer. He had black hair and a black mustache. With him was a Pelipper.

"Heard from Hapu that you need a lift to Exeggutor Island to get the Moon Flute. I'd be happy to give you a lift in my Magikarp boat."

"Thank you so much!" I said.

"I must warn you though," the Ace Trainer said. "The Exeggutor have been acting a bit… weird."

"In what way?" I asked. I remembered from the Melemele Festival that Exeggutor in Alola, as well as being Dragon Type, have very long necks. I can't say I'm too familiar with what they could be going through. "Well, we'll see what's going on whilst we're over there. Let's hit the sea!"

We both got into the weird shaped boat as the Ace Trainer got in the driver's seat. "Hey Dhelmise, come on up!" From the sea, a Pokémon that looked like an anchor covered in algae and kelp popped up.

Dhelmise has no known evolutions.

"Off we go!" With that, the boat went off.

Location: Exeggutor Island

The Magikarp boat parked at a small dock. "Dhelmise, Anchor Shot!" Dhelmise shot an anchor into the sea and attacked itself to the boat to keep it from drifting away. "Enjoy your trip," said the Ace Trainer. "And be careful."

"Look, Exeggutor!" We saw the long-necked Alola forms dance about.

"They look fine to me. Roto."

"Just you get a closer look," said the Ace Trainer.

We decided to do that. We ran up to see some Pinsir bullying the poor Grass Types. "Hey!" I shouted. "Leave them alone!"

I started up a battle. "Good luck!" Lillie shouted.

"Go Toucannon!" Out came my Flying Type. Its beak started heating up. Immediately, Pinsir went in for a Storm Throw. However, it got burned in the process. "Now Beak Blast!" Toucannon blasted Pinsir, defeating it in one shot. Upon seeing this, the other Pinsir ran off.

"Well, that was strange," I said. One worry went to another however when I saw a large black cloud coming over.

"We can't go home in this," said the Ace Trainer. "Let's find the flute and then I'm afraid we'll have to wait it out."

With the first few raindrops, I spotted a location under that I could go under with Lillie and Rotom Dex.

The rain really started coming down. Thunder rolled in the sky as the waves got bigger. Thankfully the wind was blowing in such a way that it didn't reach where we were sitting. The Wingull flying in the sky had sheltered under the Exeggutor; it was clear that the Pokémon here lived in harmony (except for the Pinsir I suppose).

"I hope this doesn't go on for too long," I said.

"You know," Lillie said. "I saw this movie when I was younger, about a man singing in the rain. Forgot what it was called. I tried it, and Mum got so shocked that she ran out without an umbrella. Then we danced in the rain together. Of course, we ended up catching a cold."

"And thizz wazz before she got obzezzed with Ultra Beazztzz? Roto?"

Lillie nodded sadly. "Type: Null and Nebby have suffered too much because of her. Me and Gladion needed to get out of there. After being picked up by the Professors, I felt like I couldn't do anything. I didn't know what to do. But after meeting you, I got the courage I needed. So… thanks."

We continued to watch the rain collide violently with the ground and sea. "We'll certainly catch a cold if we go out in this."

"Hey… Elliott. Can I ask you something? After you become Champion… what do you want to do?"

That question hit me like a Giga Impact. "Well… those guys at the Ultra Recon Squad say that they may need my help. They're with the Aether Foundation but on my side, just like Wicke."

Lillie smiled. "Wicke. She became more of a mother to me and Gladion after mother went cuckoo."

"But after that…" I said. "I really don't know."

"I want to travel the world! Roto!" Rotom Dex said. We both looked at it. "Oh… wazz I not supozzed to answer?"

"Not at all!" I said. "If you want to travel the world, then…" I thought about it. Rotom Dex felt… restricted to Alola with me. "Well, I don't know. But everyone should have a dream."

"I ask you this because…" Lillie said. "I want to go to Kanto. That's where I want to have my journey!"

"Really?" I said. "What are you waiting for? Do it! We'll be rooting for you!"

"I still have this mission to do first. I'm not sure if playing these flutes WILL summon the Legendary Pokémon, but it's our only hope of finding mother and saving Alola from its Ultra Crisis. At least they still haven't reached here. Elliott… thanks." As she said that, she subtly put both her lips to my right cheek. All of a sudden, I felt the blood rush straight to my cheeks.

"ZZT! MY GOODNEZZ!"

"Sorry," she said. "It's… the best way I could…"

"Look!" I said. "The weather! It's clearing!" With that, the clouds parted, and the sun pierced through, creating a rainbow across the sky.

"Okay!" Lillie said. "Let's go get that flute!"

The two of us ran to the top of the hill. There it was; the purple flute with the moon symbol on it. I picked it up and put it in my Bag. "Tomorrow, we will start heading through the Vast Poni Canyon!"

Lillie nodded. Then, looking at the rainbow, she pointed. "Look at that! In the distance!"

Under the rainbow, we saw something gold and flying. "That can't be Ho-oh…" I said. "Can it?"

"They say that those who see Ho-Oh are promised an eternal happiness," Lillie replied. "Weather or not that's true, it is hope. And we will do whatever it takes to stop the Ultra Beasts!"

"Well?" I said. "Let's get back to the Seafolk Village and rest up! It'll be a bit of a trek through the Vast Poni Canyon!"

"You bet!" Lillie replied. With that, we both headed back to the ship.

Rotom's Move Dex!

Today we got to see some Alolan Exeggutor! Roto. Did you know? People from Alola believe that the long-necked Dragon Type variety is Exeggutor'zz true form? With that, it'zz Dragon Type time!

Outrage!

We all get angry, whether our sibling izz annoying uzz or we see an opinion we dizzagree with on social media. Outrage takezz anger and turnzz it into a weapon! Roto! Bash bash! Angry all the time until suddenly… you're confuzzed! Outrage izz strong, but it can confuzze the uzzer.

Pokémon that can learn Outrage include Kangaskhan, Krookodile and Kommo-o!

I don't think anything can get azz angry azz Luzzamine though! Roto!
