[3rd Person]

Aizawa practically ran through the setting city, navigating on the sidewalks, the recent news articles still on his mind.

'This is gonna be bad.' he thought to himself. He remembered Yamada's sounds of shock as he shoved his phone in his face. What the hell are they going to do now? Everyone knows about him now. Aizawa was hoping that nothing crazy came out of this…

He opened his door, making sure to lock it behind him as he looked to see… no one.

"Jason?"

No response.

The subtle breeze he felt gave him a clue of what happened. Aizawa inspected the open window with a look of dread and frustration.

"Damn it."

~~~~~
The clinking and grinding of metal emanated from a hidden alleyway. Places like these are common for criminals to gather and hide from the public so they could act on their "activities" in peace.
Unfortunately, Jason knows how it goes.
Multiple people lied on the ground, bruised and beaten to unconsciousness. His gaze was hardened and cold, staring into nothing. Frustration and anger poured out of his body, coursing through his erratic mind as he set off to his next victim. He was stopped when he heard a small thump behind him. With a glance back, he saw his current roommate.
"Jason, what are you doing-"
"I know who it was." He interrupted. Aizawa grew tense at the harsh glare he received. He himself felt his heart start to pump looking at this… man. His aura exuded violence and malice.
"She was in prison. She was the only one that lived out of the leaders." He said, tracing his hands on the Kusarigama's blade.
"She was the one I wanted to kill the most…" At this point, Aizawa realized he wasn't exactly talking to him, rather, he was expressing the raw emotion that was currently cycling within his mind.
"Jason, I-"
"How the FUCK did she escape!?" He yelled out, his muscles tense. Aizawa tensed as well, his hair slightly floating.
"Heh… Let me guess, the heroes couldn't even do their damn job, capturing her again." He said with a cynical smile.
Aizawa was prepared to capture him, if necessary. He was currently volatile, and a possible threat to himself, and others. He will not hesitate.
"Here you guys are, focusing on me while one of the most dangerous women on this planet is now as free as a bird…" He said scornfully, glaring at Aizawa almost hatefully. Aizawa didn't like this at all. He was worried.
"Jason, we can track her down! Trust me-"
"She is free! Don't you get that!? She has to die! I know what she can do, and what they hell are you people going to do!? Put it on the backburner? Not your concern? Like everything else?"
"That would never happen! Especially with someone like her!" He yelled back.
'Jason… please.' Aizawa couldn't let this happen.
"I thought you out of all people would understand where I'm coming from!"
Aizawa glared at the man, staying silent.
"Useless… I see I have to do everything my damn self." He muttered, trying to walk away before he weaved his head from a silver colored scarf.
"Do you want to repeat your mistakes that badly?" Aizawa yelled out almost desperately.
He can't lose another friend. He can't.
"... What!?"
"You heard me! Didn't you learn? Your body is torn apart, you're missing a leg, and you have already been imprisoned… If you do something like this you will be in there for life!"
"This isn't about me!"
"It seems like it! You wanted to kill her the most? Was it for them, or for your satisfaction?"
"You don't know that!"
"I know well enough!"
"She is a danger, she can't be held in a prison after the shit she did, do you honestly believe that?" Aizawa paused, thinking about his answer.
"No… Not at all." He truthfully said.
"Then you should understand!" Aizawa can not let him go down this type of path.
"Think about it Jason, by yourself?"
"If it has to be-"
"Tell me, how was the Crypt defeated, because it certainly wasn't all you! If she is as dangerous as you claim she is, then it can't be just you."
"Tch, I'm sick of this. You heroes fail, time and time again. I will never feel right with people like you. This is a call out to me and only me, so stay out of it Aizawa. Please." He said, slightly softer at the end. His body slightly slumped as the numerous thoughts and memories ran through his head.
"Jason, you know that I'm a hero right?" He slowly walks up to Jason, who shows no signs of moving. He could see the turmoil within Jason's eyes. He must not let him go.
Slowly, he puts a hand on his shoulder, Jason harshly shrugs him off. He puts his hand on it again, Jason doesn't move. Aizawa knew he had to get to him somehow, something that Jason would be able to understand much better instead of just giving a lecture. He mentally thanked his skills as a teacher. Aizawa faces Jason, looking him in the eyes. Pure black, dead eyes, meet vindictive, violent ones.
"Quit being irrational. Someone as old as you wouldn't make it too far." Jason let out a slightly amused breath through his nose.
"Please, I still got it." Jason untensed slightly
"So, you're going to need someone to keep your head straight, instead of being irrational and being rash. Alzheimer's patients need someone to watch over them, after all."
"That… was a shit joke…"
Aizawa grunted.
"I tried. Like I said, someone would have to watch over you, so it might as well be me. This isn't a choice." Jason couldn't hold back the small smirk that rested on his face, which was quickly dashed away with the incoming thoughts. He looked at him with mixed emotions. On one hand, he wants to go and kill her immediately, but on the other…
"Mister Mendozaaaa!"
"You're so manly, Mr. Mendoza!"
"Ah, I was so excited! My family couldn't come, but I saw you up there!"
"Jason, I'm so sorry…"
"Think you can keep up, mummy man?"
"Easily."
Jason felt his mind clear up some. If he tried going in there blindly, he could potentially die, and could clue her off to go into hiding after an attempted strike, which would be pretty bad. He was different now, with his missing leg and old injuries, could he stand by himself? Jason was still inclined to go and deal with it. No one else would be able to do it like he did, but maybe some help wouldn't be so bad…
'Tch… here I thought I grew up a bit.' He thought, yelling at himself for his emotional actions.
"Aizawa."
"Yes?"
"Thanks."
"That's what a hero is for…"
Jason chuckled to himself. He still had that look of internal turmoil, still reeling from the intense anger he still held in his heart. His fury was not sedated, but it was rather focused now. Blind rage was the thing that made him lose his leg, after all.
"If only…"
Aizawa thought to himself, checking his phone for the time.
"Come with me."
"To where? The mental hospital?"
"We're going there next, just follow me."
~~~~~

Jason groaned, slurping up the delicious noodles from the bowl in front of him.

"I'm glad you did well on your promise…" He said while chewing, much to Aizawa's displeasure.

"Chew your food. This place was open and nearby, so I thought I might as well." He said, before taking a bite himself. They were in a small ramen shop, a few stragglers were inside as the two men took a corner to themselves. Jason's ramen was filled with brewed vegetables and surprisingly succulent pork tenderloin.

"Man, the smoked tenderloin goes well with the cabbage, I'd say. Nice balance and good chemistry." he muttered.

"Right…" Aizawa didn't exactly know what to make of that, but was glad that Jason seemed to calm down.

The two ate in silence before Aizawa spoke up again.

"Most likely, she probably is still in America, if she just broke out." He said, pulling out his phone and showing an article of a recent escapee from one of the maximum security prisons in the United States.

"So we wait?"

"It's the only thing we can do as of right now. As of the moment, there's no Crypt influence in Japan, so we have to wait and see."

"Yeah, it would be hard to track her down digitally, she's a technical mastermind."

"Exactly, so we have to rely on what we and others in America see." Aizawa said as he took another bite.

"I imagine it won't take long to get here."

"I believe the same. What makes her so dangerous?" he asked, curious. Jason leaned back in his seat.

"Well, her quirk is dangerous for sure. It was called Cybernetic Augmentation, last time I remembered. She's basically able to merge and control electronic stuff, basically turning herself into a cyborg or interface." He said. Aizawa felt troubled by this, with this kind of power…

"Anything else?"

"She can manipulate technology with precision, and could process anything with a snap of a finger, that's not even counting the technological weapons she used to have. Hell, I think she had lasers at one point…" He said, rubbing the back of his head. Meanwhile, Aizawa was having a mental analysis of the information he received. What kind of quirk is that? With those types of abilities, she could be a disastrous enemy.

"I see…"

"She does have her weaknesses though. Close combat is one, and EMPs too." he said, taking another bite.

"That sounds about right, we'll take her on." He said.

"If it comes down to it, and if it was me with the final blow, she will die."

"..." Aizawa realized this was an enemy that really can't be contained, technology rules the world at this point, and having it at her fingertips would always be disastrous. If it was up to him, however, he'd rather not kill her.

The two fell into a silence once more.

"Any luck in the League?"

"Not at the moment."

"They're bound to show themselves."

More silence. Jason ate the pork tenderloin, relishing in its flavor.

"Damn, this shit is good."

"Better than the American food?"

"Hell no."

Aizawa cracked a smile. He really did find a friend in Jason. At first, it was more of an obligation, watching over a criminal. He, of course, doesn't like criminals, but it was odd how Jason wormed his way from criminal, to one of his friends. Aizawa was very good at reading people, nothing usually gets past him, and if it does, it is because he allowed it too. Jason was different, in comparison to a lot of people. He had that sense of justice within him that is able to rival many heroes, but was unfortunately led astray by the environment around him. As they talked to each other (while eating pizza), he realized that this criminal was a person. Not a criminal, a person. A person named Jason Mendoza, who liked making pizza, relaxing, and talking to the community that was around. A chore quickly became more of a meeting between friends. Aizawa felt that this was the result of Jason's natural charisma.

On the opposite side, Jason sent a glance at Aizawa, who was silently enjoying his noodles. He was frustrated. Aizawa stood as a direct opposition to the beliefs he held against heroes. It was strange, he thought, how Aizawa cared. He has been watching as well, the way he took care of any criminals in the night stood as a testament to his desire for the spot away from the spotlight. He could tell he taught his students to be true heroes, even standing up for them at the Sports Festival.

It essentially proved that he was wrong, so he was a little peeved, but he accepted it. Not all heroes are pieces of shit, he supposed. This doesn't mean he will forgive them anytime soon though, and he could care less about All Might, who was basically a beacon for both good and bad "heroism". He cursed Aizawa for his stern, but caring nature despite being someone he should hate.

Aizawa was a friend.

As much as he wanted to say otherwise, he knew he couldn't.

And so, the two men enjoyed their silent time together, eating noodles toward the dead of night.

"Say, how are the classes going? Students driving you insane?"

"As usual. The brats think that this is going to be a smooth ride, but they got internships coming soon."

"Ah, I see. Any offers for them?"

"A few. You seem to care about them a lot."

"Indeed I do. Kids are the future of this shit world, and those two are good ones. I hope for the best for them." Jason went back to enjoying his noodles as Aizawa looked at him quizzically, remembering a time with a certain rat principal…

~~~~~
"I'm sorry, who?" Aizawa looked at the rat thingamabob, annoyed.
"Yes! A captured escapee from the Americas is coming here, and we need some people keeping an eye on this man. With my advice, they chose you and several others!" He said with a smile. Aizawa groaned at this.
"Like I said, who is this person? And why do I have to watch over someone like that? Why not throw him in jail."
Nezu smiled, putting his paws together.
"Now that's the part. You heard of the New York Incident, yes?"
"The event when a villain organization tried to take over the whole United States? Definitely. Why?"
"This man we are taking in was one of those vigilantes who put a stop to this threat. The United States decided to be lenient after the backlash received from Jason Mendoza's supposed arrest. Many of the citizens and some heroes vouched for him, including the current Number One hero in the U.S, Star and Stripe." Aizawa's eyes widened slightly. It's unheard of that a vigilante was vouched for by a Number One hero.
"Although it was a rather brash speech, it moved the witnesses, so they opted for a "long term parole" if you would, in recognition for his efforts." Nezu finished, leaving Aizawa a little confused… and suspicious.
"That's kind of convenient, don't you think?"
"Oh, but what do you mean?" He asked with a small tilt in the head.
"You said you had a play in this?" He said with narrow eyes.
"Ah, yes, I did say that…" He said innocently. Aizawa knew that Nezu was a rather powerful figure, but to this extent?
"Why?"
"I thought he was rather intriguing, has potential." Aizawa almost groaned out, he couldn't believe he was hearing this.
"And it has to be me?"
"They decided, there is not much I can do!" He shrugged his shoulders.
"Potential with what?"
"To do good."
"You're talking about a criminal!" Aizawa groaned out, his narrowed eyes turning into a glare.
"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing, and besides, I can't let someone like that be stuck in jail, plus, considering the other factors of the Incident." Aizawa massaged the bridge of his nose.
"I'll never understand you."
"Well, I am the principal after all!"
"What does that even mean…"
~~~~~

Aizawa and Jason began to leave the place, both minds slightly relaxed and both stomachs full.

"Man, that shit was good, You gotta take me there again!"

"Sure, if you pay for your own food."

"Man, food bought by other people tastes a whole lot better…"

"Cry about it."

"Rude."

Aizawa's lips twitched.

"Ha… it's cuz… I…"

He looked over to his friend as he… laid on the ground?

Aizawa immediately panicked, picking up Jason's now limp body. He looked him over for any signs of injuries or needles. He felt his pulse, finding it rather normal until he finally realized what had just happened. He passed out from exhaustion. Aizawa knows all too well.

After Jason' fight with Gaiden and the speedy healing of Recovery Girl, and soon after going to the Sports Festival, coming home to his secret being let out, which said secret leading to him going on a rampage on any criminal on sight, and then Aizawa buying him free noodles at 11 in the morning. Busy day, for sure.

"Idiot…"

~~~~~
"I'm telling you, the shit brings in serious cash." Ricardo said, a sleazy, playful smirk on his face.
"Isn't it dangerous?" Asked 15 year old Jason.
"Well, yeah, but it's fine, I'm always more than enough!"
Ricardo immersed himself in the dark world of crime. Being a debt-collector, drug dealer, and muscle for hire all in one. Uncle Paulie made sure he was set right.
Ricardo summoned a sphere of translucent air in the palm of his hand, before expanding it over the two of them.
"Anything within this space is known by me, everything about the person I'm about the fuck up and anything else! Did you eat eggs this morning?" Ricardo chuckled out to Jason's dismay.
"Hey! Don't be a weirdo!"
"Ha! I'll be fine, Jason, don't worry your big head!"
"I know you're not talking…"
"Whatever, little loser. All I'm saying is I'm making big money here, and you can too if you stopped being a wuss."
"The hell is that supposed to mean? You know I'm not!"
"Yeah, but are you really sure you wanna cook pizza your whole life?" He said, leering down at Jason.
"Yeah, I get doing something you like, but is that all you want to do? Just like our father?" He spat, a hint of scorn at the mention of their father.
"Laying it on kinda thick, huh?" Jason was able to pick up his brother's frustration.
"He just doesn't understand, he's been fucked up since she died, so someone has to pick up where mama left off…" he trailed off.
He had his reasons for doing these heinous acts. Ever since their mother died, nothing really was the same. Jorge was never the same really. Thankfully, business was mostly the same, but the repairs to the shop were costly.
This in turn made Ricardo a criminal. Jorge slightly had an idea, but knew he couldn't stop him. They always argued on sight, clashing with their ways of thinking.
Jason was caught in the middle of it.
It was no wonder that he eventually went down the path of vigilantism.
~~~~~

[Jason POV]

I immediately sit up in my bed, wide awake. What the hell just happened? Did I pass out? Shit…

I look to the side to see Michi in all of his loafed glory, just looking at me.

"How are you doing?"

"Mrow."

"Were you worried?"

"Mrow."

"Yeah, my bad." I looked outside the window to see that it was the morning… How long was I out? I recollect everything that happened recently… shit, I still gotta deal with the whole identity thing.

I jump off the bed, my search for Aizawa stopped with a note on a notepad reading:

'I made Michi keep watch on you. Be careful if you go outside, the media is being more annoying than usual. Don't be stupid.' signed, Aizawa.

Thanks a lot.

I run my hand through my hair as I remember the dilemma I was currently in. First thing. I need to take a shower. I go in, putting on the cover for my prosthesis… Prosthesis… Oh shit! I had a thing with Power Loader! Another thing to think about…

I jumped out, tried to tame my hair, and got dressed. Fuck this bullshit, I'm heading out. I set up the food for Michi as I patted his fluffy head.

"I'm heading out Michi. Watch the house while I'm gone. Just in case, there is a spare knife under my pillow."

"Mrow."

"Attaboy."

I step outside, closing the door behind me with a click. What the fuck am I supposed to do now? Well, it's not like I really care about what people think of me, it's more of the situations I would probably find myself in. I think I'll give the support hero a call.

Riiiing!

Riii-

"Hello?"

"Hey, this is Jason, again."

"Oh, the vigilante man?"

"... I suppose."

"Right. I'm guessing you forgot about our meeting? It was supposed to be after the support festival."

"Right, uhh, sorry about that. I got caught up with something, I'm sure you knew."

"Indeed I do. You should be thankful I have some time for later on today. Come around 5 pm."

"Alright, thanks-"

Beep!

He hung up on me.

Whatever. How about I take my mind off of this and look for some people to beat up? Sounds about right.

I immediately take off, making my blood pump and opening my lungs as I dashed around. The looks I was getting didn't matter to me. I know who I am.

The smell of smoke alerts me when I then hear an explosion. A street down, I assume. I arrive and there's a whole group of villains here, causing havoc in front of a nearby bank. What I didn't like was the fact that they had hostages.

1st guy has sharp blades coming out of his arms.

2nd guy has a hammerhead shark quirk most probably.

3rd guy looks like a snake.

4th guy looks human, probably an emitter type.

I rush onto the scene, and I see several other heroes… Doing nothing? I ran up to the little perimeter they set up.

"Hey! What the hell are you doing!?"

"What, who are you!?" A female hero exclaims.

"Wait, this is that criminal! What is someone like you doing here?" A male one says.

Background characters, so much so that they don't even have names!

"That doesn't matter, what you guys are doing is just sitting here as this fire spreads and these people are captured!"

"We don't have any water qui-"

"That doesn't matter! You people are useless!" These bitches are ticking me off! I should beat them up after…

I step into the scene, much to their dismay. I analyze the villains in front of me. Something tells me the emitter guy was the ringleader. The four were in front of me, the blade guy was noticeably closer.

"What? You guys sent someone like him?" The emitter cockily laughed out. He seems like a talker, I'll make him keep going.

"That's right! Me!"

"Do they really think someone like you can really defeat someone from the Kyozuki family?" I heard of them. Used to be rather big in the Yakuza world apparently. Keep him talking.

"Aren't you guys a dying breed? Not much of a family." The head honcho growled out in anger.

I glance towards the hostages. 3. Two in the hands of a hammerhead and one in the hands of arm blades. Gotta make sure they don't off them…

"Why- The damn Chisaki family screwed us over! We'll show them we are better than those drug peddling clowns" He raged maniacally.

"You heroes have lost! Hammer, crush them!" the beady eyed mutant turned towards the man.

"okey." The thing began to wrap its hands around the two's heads. The fear was evident as they looked to me for any type of help.

Luckily, I am me.

I found a solution.

I immediately whip my blade out, basically quick drawing it to the big shark's gills. The blade dug out a large gash that immediately sent the shark reeling in agony. The blade man went to move as well but it was already too late. With a twist of my hips, some inertia, and good timing, I swing it around towards the blade man, immediately digging into his shoulder of the arm that was being used to hold the hostage. I then yank down, bringing his body down, and pull him towards me.

"Wha-"

A fist to the temple makes him quiet.

"Quick! Get out of here! I say to the poor woman. Thankfully, she listens as she runs towards the police perimeter.

The shark was rolling on the ground in agony as the ringleader aimed his hands at me. Snake also began to move towards the two other hostages. Continuous momentum! I immediately be-lined the weight into the Snake's eyes, making it hiss out as I ran to it, dodging the strikes from its tail and sharp fingers as I landed a series of combos and a few whips from my weight that rendered it incapacitated. I look behind me to see the ringleader furious.

"TAKE THIS!" The ringleader charged up something and I didn't want to know what. These hostages may not get out in time…

(Note: This all happened in several seconds. Jason is just that guy.)

"MOVE IT!" I yell to them, making them run away as I turn and sling my weight-

"I AM HERE- GAH!"

All Might. The Number One hero.

If it wasn't for the situation, I would have laughed.

I may or may not have hit the person who could atomize me in seconds across the face with my weapon.

Now you may be asking, 'Jason, didn't you see this coming? Why did you still attack?' All you need to know is-

"Who did- oh, Mendoza! How are you doing toda-"

"GET HIM!!!" Thankfully, the villain was frozen stiff by this guy's presence.

"Ah, yes!" In speed I could barely keep up with, he wrangles in the beat down villains, before turning towards the main man himself.

"You! Do you have anything better to do than ruin these good people's day?"

"Wh- You- DIE!"

The man fired what looked like a concentrated beam of… heat? Whatever it was, it was definitely dangerous. Well not dangerous for All Might here as he evaded the strikes before disappearing behind the man.

"Where did you go-"

(insert prowler theme)

"You shouldn't have done that." He said, before chopping the man in the neck. He wrangles the villains up, pulls out some comically long rope, and tied all of them together.

He then claps both of his hands in front of the fire, extinguishing it immediately. Is this the power of the No. 1? I guess so as the crowd roared in cheers, so did the two "heroes" who stood by and watched.

I sigh in relief, I'm glad that was taken care of. I better get out of here, before-

"Mendoza!"

Fuck.

"What do you want, All Might? Don't you have people to save?"

"Of course I do, everyone does! I heard about your little situation, and I want to let you know that-"

"All Might, he's a criminal!"

"Yeah!"

"Didn't you see what he did! He should be in prison!"

"Are you here to capture him too!? You should!"

Some of the crowd and the two heroes yell their complaints and boos as I think about killing all of them. Maybe I should... All Might puts a hand up, which silences the bystanders.

"Is that the way you should talk to someone who just saved three innocent lives?"

The crowd fell silent. All Might, you better not.

"My good friend here is nothing like the media says about him! Who are you to boo a man with such self sacrifice, running into danger when no one else has!" I could tell it was pointed towards the two other heroes as they bow their heads. Heh, losers.

"What I see is a man who is doing what is right, despite his methods…" He said with a small sweatdrop.

Shut up.

"What I see is a man who is trying to atone! Who are you to deny something like that?" He finishes.

Slowly, the crowd… claps? I'm not exactly sure why as he then turns to me, letting me see his strangely muscular and shadowed face in all of its glory. Those teeth are practically blinding me… is he sponsored?

"I know you may not think much of me, but just know that I'm in your corner." He whispers to me.

"I don't need someone like you in my business!" I harshly whisper back.

All he did was smile before he waved to the crowd and took off in a powerful jump.

Bastard.

The whole crowd just stares at me.

"What are you waiting for, a show!? I only do them at night with a price!" My vulgar comment and my glare made the crowd scramble as the police wrangled in the misfits as the other "heroes" walked up to me.

"Um… Sorry for saying something like-"

"I don't care. Get out of my way."

I don't have time for this. I march off, shedding the looks everyone was giving me. I leave the area, letting loose a sigh. All Might, that bastard has to meddle in my damn business, with his stupid ass speech… I don't need his ass popping up around me. Too much attention…

Whatever, I operate in the alleyways most of the time anyway.

~~~~~
[Mirko POV]
It always has to be him, doesn't it?
I just arrived at the scene to see his ass and All fucking Might just took care of it! Damn it, it looked fun too!
The big bastard jumped off as Jason just went on with whatever he did. I watch as he walks off, and then stops? He sprints towards a nearby alleyway as I instinctively follow. He ends up in a deadend, and just stands there.
Is he tweaking out?
What the hell was wrong-
"You can show yourself now." His voice permeated through the alley, reaching me. Why do I suddenly feel so nervous? I jump down and see the man glaring at me.
"What do you want, Usagiyama?" Okay, he seems pissed.
"Nothing much, just saw you and All Might take care of the situation there."
"That? It wasn't anything too bad, at least."
It fell into a weird silence. Ugh, this is weird, say something!
"I heard about you on the news, y'know."
"I'd be surprised if you didn't."
More silence. Fuck, I should have talked to people more, this is weird…
"Personally, I think all the shit I saw was badass, even for a loser like you!" I say with a laugh. What kind of comeback does he have in store-
"Badass? None of the shit I did was for me to look cool! The shit I did was not 'badass'! The shit I saw was not 'badass'! Look where it ended me up! A missing leg, paranoia, and being practically forced to work with you fucks!" He yelled in frustration and stress. I could tell it was that, it was something I do all the time…
I think I hit a spot.
Fuck, now I feel like a piece of shit… And usually I never do! How in the hell do I fix this shit? He seems stressed to hell and back. I can see why…
The good looking guy sighs as he runs his hands through his hair.
He has nice hair.
And nice hands.
I bet he could do a lot with those ha- BACK! ON! TOPIC!
"Yo, are you okay?" Nice job, me. Great.
"I'm… fine." He says as he calms himself down.
What the fuck do I do now!? The real question is…
Why do I even care? I don't really know this guy, but here I am, trying to calm him down. He must've seen some rough shit…
Fuck it. I never do this, but I'll try it.
"Hey."
"What."
"Let's go on my patrol route for two laps. Whoever captures the most criminals win!"
He just… gives me a weird look. Like how someone would look after hearing something stupid… I'm trying my best here!
"What is your route?"
"Some of the Shizouka and Kanagawa prefectures. Like a loop."
"And why should I do this?"
"So you can stop being a bitch, bitch!"
"Wh- Fuck it, you're on then, you little punk!"
Hah! That got him. I knew competition was what got him going.
Now then, I am not losing to this bastard!
~~~~~

[3rd Person POV]

Several hours later…

The duo turned out to be an absolute unit, utterly dominating any kind of criminal they did. From petty crimes (Jason sometimes let them off with a lecture about turning your life around, Mirko did the opposite.) to literal hostage situations like the one earlier. Surprisingly, Jason was able to keep up (slightly) to Mirko, sometimes even arriving to a scene before she did, much to her annoyance.

"That looked kinda slow, didn't it?"

"Slow? Me? Yeah right, get your eyes fixed, shortie!"

She growled at him as she dashed ahead of him.

"Fuck you and your big ass legs!" He yelled as he quickened his pace.

They eventually arrive at the same spot they started their little competition. Jason tried catching his breath as Mirko stood triumphantly.

"Hahaha! I think I got about 68 in total! How about you? 20? 10? You don't have to lie!"

"I… hah… got around 74." He muttered.

"7…4?"

"Yeah…"

"HOW!?"

"I caught the accomplices and all the hidden stragglers in the alleyways… stupid…"

Mirko was beyond irritated, as Jason was currently dying by the second.

"I haven't ran that long in my life…"

"You little fuck…" She marched up to the tired man, getting all in his face.

She wished she didn't.

These actions and conversations the two had all led up to this single, one moment. A mistake on Rumi Usagiyama. Or was it a mistake?

She gazed at his scared, sweaty face. His healed, visible gashes along the jawline as a burn mark stood on the opposite side. A small circular one rested on his check, below his eye.

She was reminded of a memory, a memory that was almost lost to her. One of high school…

~~~~~
"Say, Usagi-san, what is your type, anyway?" A girl asked her, her school outfit fluttering in the wind on the rooftops of their high school. The teenage Rumi humphed, before responding.
"I don't give a damn about that, you know it!"
"You into girls?"
"No!"
"Then what type of guy? Give me something here!" Usagiyama groaned at the thought of it. She was notorious for turning down the numerous men whole tried to ask her out, all of them were too soft, too conceited, and too dumb! She didn't like them!
But… there was only one quality she looked for. Just one.
"Well?"
"..." She sat in silence, before reluctantly answering.
"I like the type of guy that would just kill me."
"... What?"
~~~~~

He fit the mold quite well. The devilish grin as he dug his fist into her guts (pause) as she broke his ribs. The life in his eyes as he swung his blade and weight around, his laughter echoing throughout the battlefield. The words he would belt out, following the intense, precise strikes he would throw at her. The constant banter. The way he would look out for others. They way he would fight to save lives.

It made her feel alive.

These feelings cemented into her as she looked into Jason's dark eyes.

"I…"

"..."

The two stood in silence as Jason stood fully up, finally catching his breath, before looking down at Rumi with a look she was unfamiliar with.

"Usagiyama. Thanks. Sorry for yelling at you and everything. Shit isn't exactly going my way at the moment, hell, it never does. My bad." He said softly. Usagiyama almost sputtered, trying to calm down her pumping heart.

"I- uh- No problem!?" She immediately beat herself up for how childish she sounded. They were close to each other, too close at the moment, she could almost hear his heart beat! What was going on right now?

"You're not like these losers, are you?"

"A hero is supposed to save people, right? Why not do that while kicking ass?" She said, almost losing composure in the end.

"Heh, I can tell. You're alright, Usagiyama. I'm glad to know that there are heroes that are actually doing something." He said with a sneer. All of a sudden, Usagiyama felt like getting back into patrol…

"Tch. I don't care about how you think of me!" She lied as she tapped her feet into the roof beneath them.

"Uh huh, then why are you red? It ain't too hot out here." He said with a small smirk, much to her despair.

"I- Fuck off, idiot! I don't know why I wasted my time on you!" She said, before backing up and jumping off.

Meanwhile, Jason groaned into his hands, a mix of exhaustion and relief. He lifted them up as he gazed into the early afternoon sky, clear blue skies with several clouds, along with the calming touch of the wind. He slowly breathed in and out.

"Man, now that's a woman."

~~~~~
And thats a wrap! Damn, this one is long! Probably the longest one I have done for a story yet! I hope you guys enjoyed this one!
Aizawa and Jason become more closer, finding a strange type of bond between eachother. How will this relationship affect the story? The Crypt escapee hasn't arrived in Japan yet, I'm saving that for a little later…
Ricardo finally reveals his own Quirk! It basically allows him to see "information" of whatever is in the domain. If he focuses on one object hard enough, he could break it down to the atom! Really neat, I think.
All Might taken a liking to the former vigilante here. How could you not? After witnessing the sacrifices he made, especially right after his first fight with All For One, it served as an incredible motivator to keep going… much to the decline of his health.
Rumi here seems to take a liking to our man man here too. I sure wonder how this could develop? Boy, I sure do…
Anyways, thanks so much for reading, and I hope to see you guys soon! Buh bye ;)
