I have seen some variations of the garden party fix but not this specific scenario that has been in my head for years.

We meet Cora when she is 31. She has moved to London, to get her writing career started. One day she hears beautiful piano music coming true her window which inspires her to write. Will she ever meet the one who plays that piano? Robert is 34 and works for his father's company, managing estates. He secretly plays the piano.

"These Cherished Chapters" is a fic where each chapter is a standalone glimpse into Charles and Elsie's life - whether it be domestic fluff, romance, smut, or anything else in between. Or, in other words, a place for me to display every small bit of Chelsie goodness I write that has nowhere else to go. Rated-M because some chapters do venture into the territory of adult content.

March 1912 - a baby is abandoned at the doors of Downton Abbey. Servant Thomas Barrow agrees to claim paternity for the foundling. The story mainly revolves around Thomas and his daughter, but the other characters also play a role in every chapter. The characters don't belong to me, only the OC does.
