An unexpected visitor shows up at her home to take her to Aubrey Hall. Will this summer be more different that she could have ever imagined?

This story takes place after Penelope's "Stand by me, Hold me, kiss me speech" A small gesture right after this speech leads fans to believe that she is telling Colin she is pregnant. I am on of those people. This is what happens in my minds directly after.

When Penelope discovers she's with child she fears telling Colin as it will confirm his comment made about her entrapping him into the marriage. How will Colin react to the news? How will he take it when she reveals her fears? What about his travels? How will this effect his future endeavors?

Viscount Anthony Bridgerton had decided that he'll finally take in a wife. Having interviewed most of the ladies of the ton and found none deserving, his interest was piqued whilst at the Danbury Ball when he overhears his mother and sister speak of a lady in high regard; and in their comments found that this woman shares the same qualities he had been looking for in a prospect.

Penelope and Anthony get it on at a ball, Colin interrupts. (Literally just pure smut. Well no, not pure, more like straight porn. Essentially just very graphic PWP.)

Marina may have found a husband, but she still has the rest of her life ahead of her. Forced into a marriage she didn't want, soon to be a mother, and grieving for a lost love, she determines to make the best of her situation.
