"Operator! Extraction is available! I advise you leave now as the void seems to be extra volatile at the current moment!"

Ordis' worried voce rings through the link. I suppose I've spent enough time in this Orokin Tower. As monstrous as the Orokin were, their architecture was beautiful. Golden halls, beautiful fountains, pearl white "trees". No matter how many times I enter these Orokin Towers, I will never grow tired of seeing them. Hard not to when the rest of the Origin System's planets are so horribly maimed by Grineer poisoning planets, Corpus greed stripping them, or even worse, the Infested flesh taking over.

Now, if only these Orokin Towers didn't constantly try and kill you. Woe be to any who enters an Orokin Tower unprepared for the Neural Sentries. Poor bastards, sent here to raid these towers on behest of another, not caring of how many were killed or taken, just that some returned with Orokin splendors.I see it as a mercy to kill these Corrupted. It's better dead than to have your mind taken over and forced to defend an Orokin Tower until death. Although it is ironic in the case of the Corrupted Ancients, well deserved, in my opinion.

I just wished one of these days I'd be able to wander an Orokin Tower, a real one, not a Simulacrum, and not stain its walls red or have the halls echo with gunfire and clashing metal.

Oh well, I've given the Tenno Operative enough time to safely collect supplies while I distracted the Corrupted.

"On my way to extraction Ordis, prepare the Orbiter." I ordered my first friend.

"Understood Operator!" He cheerfully chimed.

My Volt Prime zooms through the glittering golden halls of the Tower, his golden lightning electrifying any corrupted that stood to close, his Nikana Prime a blur, cutting down his enemies as he sped his way to extraction.

"Behold the Tenno, come to scavenge and desecrate this sacred realm." An all too familiar voice rings through the comms, and an all to familiar corpse spawns in front of me.

"Through the void, I have become anew! And with the void I will cut you down!"

Ah Captain Vor. He used to be scary when I first met him, now I, and every Tenno, treat him like a PiƱata.

Not wanting to waste any time, I pulled out my Strun Prime, its form already altered to be in its Incarnon state, and then...

Then I held the trigger.

What I love about the newly discovered Incarnons, is how they can make an already powerful weapon, into a fucking nightmare for anyone on the otherside of the barrel.

The golden halls are filled with the sound of multiple explosions, Captain Vors' probable scream of agony unable to be heard by any.

No body left behind in the aftermath, my Volt zooms by where Captain Vor once stood. Although his body was eviscerated, his voice speaks again, no shame from his humiliation.

"This death is temporary. My existence is forever. I cannot be destroyed!" His prideful, angry voice speaks through the comms, to which my eyes roll at. No matter how many times I and others do to this to him, he remains undeterred, which is commendable in a way.

My Volt reaches extraction, his body fits into the person shaped mold, and is brought back into the ship as the Orbiter flies off into the void

With the mission finished, my mind relaxes.

For all about 1 miute until the Orbitor shakes heavily and Ordis screams into the comms.

"Operator! Void anomaly has spawned right into our path and the Orbitor's navigation system is not responding!"

Before I can respond, my Orbitor reaches the anomaly, and all goes black.
